Having made a copy of himself and modified the copy's soul so that it was full of only Negion and switching soul organs with the copy Dominic sent the copy to the Anrufe in order to appease them but would not give up his ship. He had been planning a monumental event namely the revival of Negion into the galaxy and little did he know that once Negion was revived so too would be the evil it had been created to fight. The clone teleported away using basic sage magic as that was all he had. The clone did not have any of the special traits that Dominic himself possessed. Dominic had also taken the original and cut it's connection to him so that he could not be controlled through that method.
This ploy would get the Anrufe off of his backside and at the same time ensure a ticking time bomb was delivered to them for the moment they removed the soul, the clone would go boom making them think he was dead as they would not be able to sense any other copies of his soul in existence.
This plan was quite literally fool proof. With it he could win easily against those fools the Anrufe. After all not much they could do to him if he were 'dead' right? Nothing could be done to handle what they would do if they learned he was alive short of stripping them of their magic or killing them neither of which he wished to do.
“This bloodshed will end one day.†said Dominic conjuring another clone of himself and killing that clone to make it look like he himself had died in order that the Anrufe might be suitably fooled.
He was not an idiot like the Anrufe were thinking he was however and so by using Negion he supressed his magical signature and replaced it with that of Valor whom he had met earlier so that they would think Valor was alive yet again instead of the one they thought was alive at the moment. “Negion must exist in balance or the center will not hold. As I am light so too must there be one of darkness to balance me out but who?â€
The clone he had made to trick the Anrufe was already gone towards one of their bases with a particularly nasty spell on it. It would explode with spirit energy once the soul was removed and unleash a shockwave capable of killing 100s.
