This dimension is similar to the Aralang Reinforcement Outpost Dimension. Instead of all land and no space, it's all space and no land. There are many Aralang ships, from Fighters to Sajuuks, but there aren't as much. Only a few here and there. It has the Saraton Energy Shield around it, powered by a megalith. It has also been powered by Jupiter-sized stations. This is what Hik is in now. There are two other types of stations. A prison station, and a holding station, both types Jupiter-sized, as well. The prison station is self-explanatory--prisoners go there. The holding station contains the items that have been confiscated from Hikaru. That's where her boxed belongings are going to now.
Every station, has an IAM, AT, AP, and AB field.
A prison ship has arrived, and beamed Hikaru aboard it, along with a few other prisoners. Inside the prison ship are many cells. 10,000, to be exact. It then JD'ed to the prison station and beamed her and the others. The Aralangs then took the blindfold off of Hikaru and the others.
At the same time, a cargo ship came. It beamed aboard all the items, including Hik's, and JD'ed to a holding station, and beamed the cargo there.
This system has been made so that, if there was ever a prison break, the prisoners wouldn't be able to get out, as they would require a ship, and the anti- fields makes their situation worse, and their items that could have helped them would be in another station.
-
As fast as the blindfold was off, Hikaru had the Aralang that did it by the shirt collar, holding it tight enough to choke the air out of him, an insane glint in her eyes. "Why don't you just god damn kill me already?!" She demanded, releasing him, but only fast enough for her to choke-hold him with the shackles. She didn't know where she was, or why they had blindfolded her, and what was to happen then. But she had, had the time to think about it, and she had felt the familiar sensation of being beamed. And more than once. This could only mean she was somewhere else far, and somewhere secret.
Not even relaxing her strangled hold, she continued her threat. This only proved she had clearly lost it, not quite insane, but getting there. "I don't know what the hell that stuff you used was, but to a magic user, losing every damn ounce of magic they have is the equivalent of death, so get it over with already, and drop your games!! Better yet...." She narrowed her eyes. "Release me or I'll use every last bit of my spirit I have left, to make sure this place burns to hell."
-
The choked Aralang punched her in the face and then elbowed her in the stomach, and quickly took the chains off. The Aralang behind Hikaru hit her square in the head with the butt of the rife, knocking her down to the ground. "Don't try," said the one who hit her in the head with the rifle.
-
"You...just don't get it.." Hikaru began to laugh as she coughed up blood. Laughter of insanity mixed with pride. The hit from the gun had made her head spin and she could barely stand to her hands and knees as she defiantly glared up at them with narrowed eyes. "I am one of the sage three, Hikaru Tyris, eldest, of the three most powerful magic users in OUR dimension!" Her tone grew more sharp as she gave that declaration and stood up to her full height, looking them straight in the eye.
"You can kill me, you can take me captive, and you can try to ridicule me. But I REFUSE to be your damn prisoner!" With her words, a ghostly red energy began to radiate around her, but as she didn't have an ounce of magic in her thanks to the AM Fields and Injection, it could only mean one thing, spirit energy. A magic users last resort, and usually one that will end in their death. But even having completely lost it, Hikaru didn't plan on suicide, not in the least.
Before the Aralangs could have time to react to it, the red energy converged into one one spot; a circle she had drawn in the blood that had fallen when she was hit. As it converged to the circle, it then combusted into a shockwave that spread throughout the prison station, and faded with no damage done. In fact, damage didn't seem to really be the focus of the spell.
Instead, the spell had focused on one thing, it cast her spirit signature out to to anyone connected to her by blood or bond. Hikaru didn't know where she was, but for that she didn't need to know. Anyone connected to her in those ways would sense where her spirit was, and be given the coordinates of the spirit location through hologram instantly. And the Saraton Energy or any of the other safeguards would not be able to stop such a spell, as it was not magic, teleporting, portaling, or beaming, but of a signal through blood, bond, and connection.
"And know this," She gave one last laugh." ....you will never break me...." Hikaru then fell unconscious, her mind becoming unshielded. With the use of spirit energy, she would need to rejuvenate her spirit. Only, that required magic, and with the amount of spirit she had used with no magic to restore it, she would be out for a long time. And with the lack of consciousness, magic, and the part of spirit that had it shielded, her mind was left open. A small price to pay for a chance at freedom.
-
The Aralangs just laughed as she spoke. They suddenly stopped, when they saw the red energy. They froze in awe as the red energy expanded until it disappeared. How did she do that? Afterwards, they were shocked to see her collapse. There wasn't a reason for her to collapse. They know they didn't do that much harm. It had to be what she had done. Suddenly, the Saraton Energy barriers behaved strangely for a few seconds. What happened? Something HAS to have happened in order for the Saraton Energy barrier to behave like it. There was a huge flux all around the entire barrier.
As soon as Hik's mind was unshielded, the Aralangs were able to penetrate into it, and that's what they did. They probed into her mind, revealing about what Hikaru just did. They also learned about the Spirit Energy, the massacre in the Guardian HQ, her plans of attacking Aralia, and her affiliation with K2 in not the Second Sage War, but in the First.
"K2? I know him," said the Aralang who got choked from Hik. "He got away with a lot of crimes."
"She caused all that? No wonder why people wanted her out real badly," said another.
As they probed more into Hikaru's mind, they dragged her into a scanner, similar to the ones at the airport IRL. The only thing that was found was Hikaru's cross, which was quickly beamed away. Then, Hikaru was de-cloathed and put in prison uniform at the same time. She was then beamed into the cell, on the floor, in the middle of the cell. Shackles have been beamed off of her.
They picked up some DNA samples from Hik's blood, and cleaned the floor afterwards.
Several minutes later, Leserlake arrived at the dimension.
-
Several hours later, or at least what seemed several hours in the dimension she had came from, Hikaru awoke with a start. Instantly, her memories flooded back to her, and her thoughts returned. Where she was, as far as she knew. How she had gotten there, and the fact she was a prisoner, something she resented greatly.
As she climbed to her knees, her head ached, her whole body felt shaky, and her thoughts found it hard to focus. God she felt weak. Weaker than one of the most powerful magic users should. It was almost ridiculous. Well that was what she got for using spirit energy. And from the looks of things, it hadn't even done any good. ...Where was Koty? She should have been freed by now. ...Had they somehow stopped her spell?
No... couldn't be. There was no way they would have known about spirit energy. Not such a magic ignorant race as them. Wiping the absurd thought from her mind, Hikaru looked about the place she was in. It was a cell, that part was true...metallic dark blue, and there didn't seem to be any way to break through it. Not letting fear get to her, she continued to observe, taking everything in and looking for any possible thing they'd have missed, anything she could use to get out. There was nothing... A window on the door, but it seemed secure, no chance to break it. There was a crack beneath it, but it seemed like it'd only fit a paper. Therefore no luck there.
Sighing if frustration, Hikaru stepped back. The only other two things in the room were a bed and a bathroom. Both of which seemed to be bolted. And even if they weren't, she didn't have the strength to use either of them now. Definitely not, she'd need time to restore more of her spirit. And without magic, that would take longer than usual... It was a wonder she was even awake that soon.
God dammit! Where were they?! She used everything on that last spell. She was sure her brother wouldn't come. But Koty? There was no way she could stay there for two hundred years. She would end up going insane. She already felt hopeless. Ever since she had underestimated them and had gotten captured. She just refused to show it. Her pride was too strong for that... ESPECIALLY to be made powerless by a technological race, the thought was as absurd as the chance they might know about spirit energy. ...But it was true...and as much as she didn't want to admit it...them stopping her spell may have been true too....
"No, no, no, NO! God dammit!" Hikaru shouted to the silence as she punched the floor, causing pain to fill her arm and her already sore wrists from the shackles. But she didn't care, pain was the least of her worries. "I can't think like that. I'm a sage dammit! I won't let them or this place beat me...Just have to remain calm, and figure my way out of this...There MUST be something I haven't thought of yet....Then when I get out...they will pay."
-
The Aralangs were busy talking about what they read from Hikaru's mind. When they detected some thoughts from Hikaru, they fell silent. They knew she was awake. But what she said made them smile and laugh. "Wow. She doesn't know who she's messing with," an Aralang said. They were out of view from the window, but they were close enough to be heard.
"Anyway," the Aralang continued, "Forget about the massacre and what she did. Think about what she didn't do!"
"Ah, well" another said. "I don't really understand why she didn't bother killing the Virus if she bothered killing every single goddamn person in the base."
"If she let it live, she let it live," a third voice said. "Nothing we can do about it now, except to hope it won't become active anytime soon, unless we send someone down there to kill it. I thought it was dead."
"So did I," the first Aralang said. "I thought it was long gone. So the base wasn't abandoned. She killed everyone in it. So THAT'S why we didn't take back the base ever since. There was a reason not to. Well, knowing the Virus, no wonder nobody went back there, especially to kill it."
The Aralang said the word 'Virus' so distinctively, that it would seem that it's to be used as a proper noun. Apparently, this is not just any virus.
-
Taking a deep breath, Hikaru forced herself to calm down, putting her feelings of being powerless aside. As soon as she was able to think more clearly, she had picked up the pieces of conversation from the outside. Forcing herself to stand despite how weak she still was, she stood at the door to listen further, focusing on the things they had discussed.
Virus? Massacre? What the heck were they talking about? Had her brother given over every crime she had ever committed? Well he would later die for that if he had. In the meantime, what were the- With the word 'base,' and 'abandoned,' Hikaru suddenly knew. The guardian headquarters! But how...? How did they find out about that? It was back before the three had even came to this dimension. Back when she had tried to kill her brothers the second time. But how did they know? And what was this virus they mentioned?
In any case, whatever the virus was it seemed to be something the Aralangs feared. If there was any chance she could control such a thing...The result of the Second Sage War would definitely be their victory. This was something she would have to look into later. But to do that, she would have to be free. And for that she needed ...Koty..
Just thinking his name, Hikaru instinctively reached for the cross, just then realizing it was no longer around her neck. Without a second thought she glanced down. Orange. They really had taken everything... even her clothes. What was this? Some sick twisted version of old Earth?! Clenching her fists, Hikaru kicked the door. God damn them, God damn them, GOD DAMN THEM! She WOULD get out. She WOULD find this virus. And she WOULD wipe every damn last one of them to extinction.
With this resolve in mind to refuel her determination, Hikaru continued to listen, waiting for anything else that may help.
-
When the Aralang heard a kick on the door, they knew Hikaru was listening. They read what she thought without her realizing it. The three looked at each other, only grimly. "If only she knew what we knew," said one of them. "She wouldn't want to find the bloody virus."
"She won't be able to tame the thing. She can't use it as a weapon," another said. "If anything, it would backfire."
"You know, what's funny is that we're trying to talk behind her back, and she's listening, and we know it" said another voice.
"Yeah, yeah. Good that she's listening," the first Aralang said. "She should know that if the virus ever got loose, it would be her fault."
-
Hikaru jumped back from the door in reflex. She knew by her reactions they would know she was listening, who wouldn't listen? But her thoughts about finding the virus? Those were thoughts! She hadn't said a damn thing of it, that way they wouldn't know her plans. What was going on? Crossing her arms, Hikaru thought back, attempting to recall all information she had on the Aralangs. That wasn't much, that she had to admit.
But what she did know, didn't add up. To her knowledge they weren't around back then, so to know of her destruction of the Guardian Headquarters... And now automatically knowing her plans? It was like mind readi-... Wait a minute! That one! He had said a lie detector wouldn't work if her mind was shielded. She was desperate back then, so she didn't think anything on it. But how had he known her mind was shielded? And her brothers memory? She figured he had just sent it with a spell...but wasn't he too under the AM field? Had they created a tech that could read minds? This was bad...
Not that she had to really worry about it. Her mind was shielded after all no way they could know her thou-.......then how?! How had they gotten through her shield?! And ...if they had...how much did they read? How much could they read with resistance of it? Did they get it all? Could they tell what she was thinking now?
With a glance around the room, Hikaru could feel herself paranoid. She needed a test....but in the case the test was positive.....not even her mind was safe. If they had broken her shield, then she was stuck. Without magic she couldn't strengthen it, or even rebuild it. "Grrr." She needed to stop thinking, or she was just giving herself away. It was time to test just how much they had access to....If it was everything... then that would include her magical knowledge, the result of her spell... Maybe they HAD stopped it! No...She shook her head. She couldn't think that, not till she had proof!
"Read this bastards..." Hikaru muttered into the air, then focused on her thoughts. In her mind, she began to visualize a scene, blood carnage, and complete annihilation of the Aralangs in the most detailed depiction she could imagine. Anyone of normal mentality that could see such thoughts she was thinking, would run screaming into insanity. And children would die of nightmares.
-
The three Aralangs were shocked at the image that just came up. Sure, she did test them, and the Aralangs knew it, but that's one hell of a test. They were silent for a few moments. "Holy, shit!" said one Aralang. "That's the most disturbing image I've ever seen, Hikaru! Good job!"
Meanwhile, Leserlake and another Elite were arguing over whether to release Hikaru. As they talked, they were on their way to Hikaru's cell. They stopped near enough for Hikaru to hear. "Speak of the devil," one of the three Aralangs said. "They're talking about her. She must be the center of attention."
"I don't like this, Leserlake. She would have nothing to stop her from causing another war. You know how effective propaganda is," a voice said.
"I know, that's what I'm worried about, sir," Leserlake said. "She has got a lot of attention. A lot of people want her out."
"Yeah, and you know, she just helped the virus get loose, if it ever will."
"She didn't realize. The only ones who would do what she did are the ones who didn't know about it."
"And K2 asked you to release Hikaru? Do you know what K2 did?" said the Elite with a louder voice.
"Yes, I know. Gaserlake did let K2 get away with them all, and I think he has a reason why. He and Gaserlake seemed to be like brothers."
The Elite's voice then grew back to normal. "True. It seemed that Gaserlake knew what he was doing when he let him get away with it. Only the two know what they are up two. He supports wars against the Aralangs, and then supports them."
-
That did it. With their response, Hikaru had all she needed to know. Nothing was safe now, not even her mind. Her last sanctuary, and the protection on it was gone. She had to stop thinking! But for two hundred years?! She'd go insane...And she couldn't even meditate. Well she could... but they would even read that. "Stop Hikaru... stop.." She muttered to herself. Out loud? In her mind? It didn't matter anymore. If both could be heard, why not out loud? At least saying it aloud gave her something to talk to. Even if that was only herself. "Just need to stop... You're letting them get to you... If that happens, You won't have enough focus for escape. I can't! No, I WON'T let them make me lose my mind. I HAVE to focus! It's the only chance to get out of here.. If I lose that goal now, there is no chance."
With the sounds of the voices coming near, she froze, dropping what the last words she was about to say to herself. Release? Standing back at the door, Hikaru began to further listen, her eyes widening in surprise at what she had found out. Her brother asked them to release her? Was that even possible? They hated each other! But wait... did this mean her signal worked as well? But why her brother? She was expecting Koty, but K2323? He would never.... Shaking her head, she listened further. It didn't matter why at the moment, just that he had asked for her release. And the fact he seemed to be close to one of them made it all the more possible. She'd have to worry about the why later. For now, when?!
-
"Calm down. Don't worry. We'll leave you alone, now, but don't try to escape or anything of the sort, or anything we won't like," a voice said in Hikaru's head. It was the same voice as one of the Aralangs. The three Aralangs went past her cell. They were apparently guards, and they looked like they meant business.
"Alright," the Elite said. "I'll think about it. I'll tell you when I made my mind up."
"Alright," Leserlake said, with a happy voice. "Thanks. I'll be waiting."
Leserlake left the area, with the other Elite pacing back and forth for quite a while.
-
Hikaru merely glared back at the guards. They didn't scare her. They may have had her paranoid with her thoughts being out in the open. But they still didn't scare her. She WOULD still escape. For now, however, it seemed all there was to do was wait. Walking away from the door, she sat on the ground and thought. If they said yes, she'd get out. Then first chance she got, she'd find this virus and destroy them all. They underestimated sages, she WOULD control it.
However... Hikaru layed on the ground resting her head on her hands, staring up at the ceiling as she fell into her thoughts. If she didn't get released, she would just have to withstand it. Either she'd wait for her spirit to restore, and break her way out. Or she'd just wait out the two hundred years. She was a sage after all, long life, and immortality. She had already been alive thousands of years, what was two hundred more? She would just have to find a way from going insane in that time.
Either way, granted that she still had her sanity when the time came, after two hundred years. She'd find the virus then. If they really did fear it, no one would bother it and it would most likely still be there. Either way, they'd pay.
"Hear that Aralangs?!" Hikaru shouted to 'herself,' in the silence, her voice echoing off the walls of the cell. "You're still going to die! Whether it's now, a few days, or two hundred years form now! I'll still make sure every last one of you are wiped out!"
-
The Elite smirked as he listened to Hikaru. It would be fun to release her in this state, but things have to be serious. He walked off, and met with Leserlake. "I'm sorry. But I don't think it's a good idea to release her."
Leserlake frowned. "I understand. Good day to you, sir."
"You, too," the Elite replied.
The two parted. Leserlake left the dimension. The Elite went back to his office.
-
When the Elite had walked off, Hikaru sighed. Well she was expecting that answer. Looks like her brothers master plan of being nice and asking didn't work. As if it would. That was okay, she had other plans, she would just have to wait for her spirit to restore. If she was awake that soon, after using the amount she had, then it couldn't be too long to restore the rest. Maybe there was something about the place she was in that restored it faster...Either way, if all she could do was wait for it to restore, then for now....
Hikaru stood up and pounded on the door. "Hey! Incompetent fools! I know you can hear me. At least give me a damn book or something! What do you expect me to do? Stare at a wall for two hundred years? I hope you know, people CAN die from boredom." She paused, thinking for a minute, and then smirked with a lie in mind. "Sages especially, if we don't get entertainment within a day, we'll die."
-
One of the three Aralang guards came back to her cell. He looked at her through the window. He was slightly annoyed, but he understood her problem. "Really? I thought it was without an enchantment, that you would be dead in a day," he said sarcastically. "What book do you want? We got tons."
-
Hikaru growled as she glared back. Just how much did they know?! If they knew about the age spell, what more could they know? This wasn't looking good... She had to find out just how much they had found out. If it was everything...had she herself become the means to defeat the magic users? Through her magical knowledge? No! Not possible! They couldn't have broken her shield that well. But just in case... She still needed to find out.
"Spell books of course." Hikaru replied back, but then rolled her eyes. "But I don't expect you to have those. So you can either give me the Revelations Spell Book back and I can read that, or something blank and something to write with. Oh.... And just how much did you infidels read?! The age spell, that's not a shock. But what else do you know?!"
-
The Aralang just smiled. "We have tons of those, as well. We may be a technological empire, but it doesn't mean we are ignorant towards magic." When Hikaru asked her how much he knows, he said, with a knowing smile, "We read all of it. Anyway, what spell book do you want, or do you still want paper and a utensil?"
-
All? Dropping what she was about to say, Hikaru stared back, only able to blink. Soon clenching her fists, her stare turned into a glower as she bit down on her words, holding back what she WANTED to say. "Both, and all of them." She instead forced herself to mutter. "If I'm to be here for this ridiculous time period you've set, then I want all the damn books you have AND writing utensils. Oh, and I DEMAND food. Or do you starve people as well?!"
-
The Aralang rolled his eyes at Hikaru. "Oh, blimey. Really? Now, where to start?" the Aralang asked himself. A second later, he said, "Personally, I'll let you start with the virus we've been talking about. Oh, and you're hungry? Alright, seeing as you just came, we'll give it to you. But there's three square meals a day, afterwards." The Aralang walked away.
-
When she was sure he had left, Hikaru walked back to the center of the room, then to one of the walls. She then brought her finger to her mouth and bit it hard enough to draw blood. "Now... second part of my plan..." She muttered to herself, then began to write in blood upon the wall. If she ran out of blood, she would just bite it again. And if the finger became too painful, she would just use another one. She had ten after all. By the time her work was finished, however. She had the words "Die," "Aralangs," "Destroy," and "Hate," written thousands of times along with names of people she wanted to kill, on the first wall. When she was finished, she moved on to the next.
All of this was done as she waited for the guard to return. They wanted to keep her prisoner? Then she would just show insanity. Eventually they'd have to walk in...... That's when she'd act. Finally after she was done with the first three walls. On the final wall across from the door, she drew a large spell circle, in preparation for when her spirit would return.
-
When Hik turned from the final wall, she could see the Aralang outside staring in astonishment, surprise, and awkwardness. He didn't seem to be sick. "Holy, shit!" he said out loud. "Hey guys! Check this out," he called out to the other two, still looking at all the blood. The other two came. Like the first Aralang, they had the same looks and they didn't feel sick.
"The Hell?" one of them said.
They looked at the hitlist. They saw K2 as #1 and the Aralangs as #2.
The first one slid open a small gap through the door, enough to put the tray of food and the book through. It was near the bottom of the door, enough for the Aralang to place down the cup of water to the ground without dropping it. The food is similar to mashed potatoes and peas.. There was some kind of meat, and it didn't appear to be Earth-like, in fact, the only thing Earth-like is the book, the tray, the plate the food is on, and the cup of water. The Aralang then put the book through. It was a hard-cover book, and it had over 1,000 pages in it. The title of the book, in bold letters read "The Garelang Virus"
"The food and water has everything your body needs," the Aralang said. "The book explains about the virus."
-
Hikaru observed the tray and book distastefully. Without a word, in an instant, she had jumped to the side of the room with the door. Her fingers still bleeding, she merely ignored the pain and dropped down with a kicked through the gap before they had time to close it. Whether her foot had collided with his face, legs, or hands. Didn't matter. Just as long as the Aralang was in pain. And she didn't just stop there, she continued to attack in anyway she could for as long as the gap would stay open, knocking the tray away with a clatter and spilling its contents all over, the book falling to the ground.
-
The Aralang saw it coming. When Hikaru tried to kick him, he grabbed her foot and lifted it up, and let it go. The momentum is enough to make fall on her back. He then took his arm out, and closed the slide, locking it. "Eat and drink what you can, and read the book," the Aralang said. He then turned to the others. "She's going crazy. We might have to stop her before she gets out of hand.
-
In a splattered mess of food and blood, Hikaru lost her balance and fell right into the tray. "Grrr, like I'd eat that!" She yelled back, getting herself back up and scowling at the 'crazy,' comment. "You might have poisoned it for all I know! That or you put something else in it! I don't trust enemies." She then kicked the tray and threw the book at the door. The tray she wasn't going to touch, the book was just an effect, and would most likely survive for her to read later. For now it had to be...convincing.
Pointing the walls, she boasted in loud declaration. "See the damn walls? That'll be you splattered across them once I find a way to get out of here. And mark my words. I WILL!"
-
"We didn't put anything suspicious in it. If we wanted you dead or anything, we would give a clear message that we wanted to," the Aralang said, getting aggravated.
The three laughed when she threatened them with the blood. The first Aralang, seemingly the leader of the three, became serious. "Listen, what would send you bloody across the walls would be the virus, and the Garelangs. Read the book. The virus does more than you think." Unlike most of the time, the Aralang appeared to be dead serious.
-
"If you didn't want me dead, you wouldn't make it two hundred DAMN years!" Hikaru shouted back, glowering at all three of them. "Someone without an age spell would die before that sentence ended. And your race calls themselves merciful. HAH, that's a lie if there ever was one. Merciful isn't two hundred years! MERCIFUL isn't solitary confinement! Merciful isn't taking every damn possession they have, even if it's no threat. Like the cross from Koty. You fools are FAR from merciful!"
Ending her speech she just shook her head. "But that's okay. Because you'll die for it all later. You, this place, and your whole damn race! Just wait till my spirit restores!" She paused, and shook her head, laughing. "Oh wait, or do you already know about that? If you read everything, then you should have read that there's no way you can stop it."
-
"How ignorant are you?" the Aralang asked her in disbelief. He turned to the other two. "How ignorant is she?" He turned back to Hikaru. "I don't know if ignorance is bliss or not in this case. The reason you are here is because you're too important and possibly too dangerous to be in a regular prison. Just read the bloody book. Ignorance sure is bliss, but that's what kills people."
-
"That doesn't explain the time span or things taken!" Hikaru yelled back, as she kicked the tray again, this time kicking it across the room and into the wall, knocking over the water in the process. "If you're so merciful THAN AT LEAST give me the cross back! It doesn't do anything! It just....
Starting to realize it was useless arguing with this race, Hikaru grew quiet before she could finish her final statement, dropping her head and starring at the ground. "Where am I?"
-
The Aralangs looked at each other. Maybe Hikaru's telling the truth. Maybe the cross does nothing. As far as the Aralangs read her mind, the cross didn't do anything. The Aralangs read everything there was available, but they had to make sure. Memories can be locked away. "I'll make it extensive," one of the Aralangs said. He walked away.
The other two looked at Hik, and then back at each other. "Is she ok?" an Aralang said. The Aralang shrugged at that question. It was a bit weird, seeing her going from anger to wonder so suddenly.
"You're in a prison station," the Aralang replied to Hik.
-
"But WHERE?!" Hikaru demanded. "I....Without magic, I can't sense my location." She shook her head, still staring at the floor. The blood from her fingers had finally dried, and though still sore, the pain had pretty much subsided. But she could still see the splatters mixed in with the food on the floor, as she stared at a spot intently, not daring to allow herself to look up, lest they see her expression. "But I... I know it's not where I was before. With the first Orias ritual.. There's a bond with Koty, even having no magic doesn't break that....But...."
She clenched her fists and continued to stare at the same spot. "...Ever since I arrived here, it's become more faint... I can still feel it...but not as close."
-
"Well, yeah. You're in another place," the Aralang said. "You're in another dimension, in fact. So, you're a lot farther from where you came from."
-
"I knew it..." Hikaru raised her head back up and ran her hand along the wall where the spell circle lay drawn in blood, thinking. Her hand then stopped when it came to the center of the circle, which she then clenched it into a fist with the flat side against the wall."Two hundred years...huh?" She scoffed. "Why don't you just kill me?" Leaning her head against her fist, she muttered in the same continuous depressive tone, "Or I'll save you the trouble and just do it myself."
Hikaru knew her choices. She could either die, get judged, go to hell. Or wait out the time there, and then go straight to hell after, due to her deals. Wasn't a very prosperous decision to make. And the fact they hadn't commented on the spirit energy bit, yet clearly knew her memories, just made her think they were up to something. Why else no answer?
-
The Aralang understood Hikaru. "It's what we do. Killing you would defeat the purpose," he said in a calm voice. He looked sympathetic. "We'll try to stop you from killing yourself. We can tell if you are dying or not."
-
"Heh..." Hikaru closed her eyes and turned her head away.. "So you won't even let me find escape in death...."
Raising her head back up, she walked to the center of the room, kicked the book, and anything remaining away, and then bit her index finger and let a few drops of blood fall to the floor. "Well then, I believe it's time I get out of here." Finally enough rested, Hikaru held her hands out, focusing on her energy, her life energy, thus her spirit. Around her hands, the same red ghostly energy began to glow. When it had faded the Revelation spell book lay closed within her hands. A Summoning Spell.
Not stopping there, she quickly held her other hand over the book, focusing all of her thoughts onto it and sensing the part of herself within the bound pages. "Niaga ecno, elohw em ekam ti tel dna, nelots evah segap eht, em fo trap eht esaeler. Noitalever fo cigam eht ot edam evah I tcap eht evomer suht dna selttab ym dellifluf won evah, Hikaru I!" Instantly, a wind began to pick up and the book blew open, the pages scattering in a fluttering motion. Out of the pages, the same energy poured out and joined the energy that was around Hikaru. It would take a few seconds at most but by the time they would unlock the door and get to her, Hikaru would have all of her spirit energy back.
-
Sensors have picked up an anomaly in Hik's cell and the room that contained the Revelations Book in a storage station. Then, the sensors picked up an energy spike, and it appeared that all the energy involved has been sent to Hikaru. Troops have been sent to check out Hik's supplies and Hikaru herself.
The two Aralangs looked at each other after they saw red energy go into Hikaru. "What the hell?" they both said in unison. They know she's onto something. They got their rifles ready, for just in case anything bad happens. They waited for reinforcements to arrive.
-
Refusing to even acknowledge the guards till she was completely finished, Hikaru focused upon one more item. Directing her thoughts to visualization, soon after, katana that was taken away, appeared as well. Giving one glance around the room, she used a last spell of spirit energy to shrink the book and then swallowed it. With magic, she could get it out later. But for now, she needed to be wise. She had taken all of her energy back, but it was still her life. Therefore she was still limited to what she could do. No big blasts, no killing for the hell of it, and definitely no advanced spells. That was why she needed the katana.
Using the blade to slice through the door, as it did cut almost anything, she slashed out the door, and ducked down, to avoid the guards, skidding to a stop out into the hall of wherever she was. She wouldn't kill the two guards, they had been semi-nice, and therefore didn't deserve it. And even if they did, Hikaru really didn't have the time for it there and then, as she surveyed the area and her surroundings. Spinning around, she held the katana out to warn them not to come near her, as she urgently demanded. "Tell me how to get the hell out of here, and I'll spare your lives. You can already read my mind, so see that I'm not lying!"
-
There was a barrier of shielding, but even that failed. The two soldiers were very surprised. A lot of things happened at once. They didn't get what was going on until Hikaru raised the katana at them.
The two Aralangs aimed down the sights on Hikaru. "We're martyrs!" the Aralang yelled. "We won't tell you if our lives depended on it! Now get down on the ground! NOW!"
Through the Aralang linking, the two Aralangs informed all guards on the situation. More Aralang troops are on the way. Twenty troops, ten from each side of the hallway are close to blocking the hallway exits. The area is close to being surrounded.
-
"Or what?" Hikaru mocked. "You'll shoot me? But apparently you won't kill me. Now that seems to be a problem, doesn't it?" Though she didn't have the time for mocking, she wasn't wasting it either. Using a very small bit of spirit energy enough to do a mental scan of the area, she used it to sense where the lack of magic was the strongest. When she had it figured out in her mind, she smirked back. "Lucky for you, I don't have the time to kill those that wrong me."
Hikaru then disappeared. Invisibility spell, another small one, but would suffice for the time being. When that was done, she jumped out of the way and ran down the hall where she sensed the lack of magic stronger, following the mental scan she had taken.
-
Scanning systems scanned the area, looking for any biological systems. They have detected and identified Hikaru, as Hikaru's just invisible to the naked eye. Infrared sensors also displayed her position. A sensors operator then relayed nearby troops via link where Hikaru's detected, down to the very inch.
Aralang troops, all 22 of them, aimed at where Hikaru is. They positioned themselves so that friendly fire is kept at a minimum, for just in case the sensors are wrong in any way. They aimed down the sights and fired. Pulses of lasers coming from 22 rifles came straight for Hikaru.
-
How the hell had they found her?! Hikaru may not have known technology, but by the fact they could still shoot her despite her invisibility spell, meant they had to have some other trace on her. But what?! Not stopping to think about it, she ducked down and hit the floor to avoid the laser fire. Knowing that it wouldn't be enough, she focused another small amount of spirit energy, calling forth cold to her free hand. Placing her hand on the ground, she sent the spell to the floor, and watched as it instantly it began to freeze as it went across to the where the soldiers were, freezing the ground solid.
Using the katana, Hikaru stabbed it into the ground and used it as a grounding to jump back up. Then pulling it out, she slid to the corner of the hallway to where there wasn't ice and rounded the corner, taking the next hallway. From her experience of magic fights, Hikaru was used to such tactics. The soldiers however? They could have fun ice skating.
Following each and every hallway, through the detection of the AM Field source, Hikaru knew she had to be getting closer, as the lack of magic seemed to be getting stronger.
-
The soldiers went sliding. More soldiers have been sent to block all the exits of the interconnected hallways. The soldiers stopped sliding when they hit non-slippery ground. They then tried to chase her by using their rifles to steer.
-
Weakness was starting to set in, and Hikaru could feel it. So far she had been wise, doing the most in the least amount of spells possible to conserve her spirit. But if she didn't cut down on even those, it wasn't going to be enough. If they kept pursuing like they were doing, she was going to most certainly lose. She had to give them another target, something harder to chase, something they couldn't see as well. But what was there to do with the limits she was under? Shapeshifting was magic.... Unless....
There was ONE form she could take. And it wouldn't require that much spirit at all. As it was a part of her, to her very soul even... "Well I haven't done this for a while," Hikaru muttered to herself, while running. And it was true, she hadn't done this particular tactic since... since the Excel tournament and the fight with her brother. But at this point, it was her only move.
As she took another hallway that wasn't blocked yet, Hikaru focused on her spirit, calling the energy to her soul, and searching through it till she felt a familiar presence. Stopping abruptly once she felt it, Hikaru surrendered herself completely to the spirit magic, her body then and there bursting into flames as if she had suddenly spontaneously combusted. But the flames were far from normal, as they took the tint of ghostly red, the same color as her spirit energy.
Something was definitely happening, and it wasn't a pretty sight if there was anything around to witness it. Hikaru couldn't be too sure, as she didn't know how far behind they were chasing. But it was too late now, as her body began to melt into the flames themselves. Feathers formed out of fire, and then out of it all, flew what resembled a crimson and gold eagle, with deep penetrating gold eyes, and longer than normal tail feathers, with tips of gold on the ends. A Phoenix.
In it's golden scaled talons, the katana could be seen, as it took flight to the ceiling of the hallways.
-
The soldiers were a bit confused. She turned into a... phoenix? Shapeshifting abilities? You don't see those everyday.
The entire are of hallways have been surrounded. It's only a matter of time until they effectively cut Hik off from the rest of the station. Aralang-only shields are on the 'borders' of hallways and other rooms or areas. Hik can't get out system of hallways without having to get through these shields.
As Hikaru flies, soldiers catch up to her. Soldiers catch up with her just as she passes an intersection, and the soldiers arrive as soon as she passes another intersection, and so on. They shoot at her from behind.
-
The Phoenix that was Hikaru continued to fly with them on her tail, literally. With her wings and small form though, it made the task of avoiding the lasers much easier. But she was far from safe. Using the keen eye sight of the form she was in, Hikaru kept a look out as she flew, watching for the one thing she needed. And with the turn of another intersection, she found it. Near the ceiling,A Vent.
Even high tech places had to have oxygen. Especially prisons, as some prisoners would need to breathe over others. This place proved no different. Flying towards the vent, Hikaru turned her wings and flew upwards at the last second, letting the katana cut into the grate over the vent. When she heard the grill clatter to the ground, she flew down and into the open shaft. It wasn't that much space, but it was enough room for a Phoenix.
With the guards no longer a threat, Hikaru continued to follow where she detected the AM Field, flying through the venting system.
-
The sensors still pick up the bird. And the Aralangs used their telepathy on Hikaru. Apparently, Hikaru is going for the AM generators.
"Grenade every vent leading to the generators. Get something to cover the vents, too!" the Elite Aralang shouted.
"Every vent?" said one of the troops.
"EVERY VENT!" he screamed into the soldier, extremely furious. The Aralangs hurried to the vents. "I don't want some goddamn prisoner to escape! We'll have to blow this place to Hell if we have to!"
As Hikaru is flying in the vent grenades seem to be going after her. As she nears close to the generators, the grenades eventually catch up to her, and now there are grenades in FRONT of her. The Aralangs also covered the venting exits after placing a grenade in there. Since the walls are thick, there aren't any ruptures in the venting system. Most of the shock wave is traveling through the vents.
At the generators, at the core of the area, the Aralangs are setting up defenses, mounting up heavy machine guns equivalent to a .50 caliber. Even rocket crews are ready with rocket launchers.
"Get the PLRAD on her! Now!" said the Elite Aralang, still furious. The Aralangs quickly set up the PLRAD, and targeted Hikaru's mind. It's first set to 150 decibels. It's equivalent to 150 decibels, actually, as it isn't really sound.
-
Before her mind could be targeted, however, Hikaru had flown to the exit of the vents above the room with the generators. With all the grenades caught up to her, and even in front of her, she did the only possible thing she could do. Lose the Phoenix form.
Wrapping her wings around her phoenix form, Hikaru flew fast to the now covered exit. During such, she focused on pushing all the spirit energy out of her soul, and in the process she burst into spirit flames once again, the feathers just melting off. Cramped into the small space of the shaft with the grenades, as soon as she had one hand shaped enough to use, she took the katana and rammed it through the closed off vent ending, stabbing through it and falling in a mess of spirit fire, feathers, and broken metal. Behind her, the shockwave blew.
Once on the ground in the room with the generator, she was back in sage form, but weak. The katana clutched in one hand, Hikaru rolled over and lay on her back, looking up into the mess that was waiting for her. She didn't have long to think about it, though, because at that time, the most piercing sound hit her mind. Dropping the katana, she cringed and screamed, willing part of whatever spirit she had left to shield her mind. It didn't matter if it was a strong shield, just something!!
-
The PLRAD was still on to her. 15 Soldiers came rushing into the room,5 of them carrying very strong tranquilizers. They all shot their tranquilizers at Hikaru, quickly reloading for another round. The other 10 aimed their rifles at Hikaru.
-
"No, no, no, no, no, NO!" Hikaru screamed. Her whole body reverberating from the pain of the sound. It felt like her head was going to literally explode as she cringed in pain. She couldn't think, she couldn't focus, she just wanted it to stop! Even if it meant her recapture... NO! She couldn't get recaptured. She was one of the sage three, god dammit! Her brothers wouldn't fall to these idiots... and Neither will she!
Feeling her concentration slipping and her grasp of her spirit energy failing, Hikaru used what she still had a hold on to expel a shield outward. Not around just her mind as that would require focus, but her whole body. If so much energy used, killed her, then so be it, it killed her. But in this instance, it did not. Instead a radiant burst of her red spirit energy surrounded her like a barrier, killing off the 'sound.' But something seemed off... , every other color of the spectrum seemed to be mixed in as well, as if it wasn't just her spirit. For a long time after, even Hikaru would wonder why. But she didn't have the time, now.
Because of the shield, the tranquilizer darts burned up in the spirit energy. Rolling to the side, Hikaru ducked behind the generator, and grabbed the katana; which at her touch and contact with the shield, also lit with spirit energy. Forcing herself to stand with what strength she had left, she stabbed the katana through the center of the generator, whatever lie between it and all, and then pulled down on the hilt, bringing the blade shredding down in an explosion, the spirit energy flowing through the blade and into the generator its self.
It had just better be the AM Field Generator, or she had just lost, game over.
-
The 10 soldier kept shooting at her, even though the barrier of a red shield blocks them. Sooner or later, Hikaru will to run out of Spirit Energy. She has to.
The generator became critical, and emergency stabilizers have been activated, followed by a strong shield that surrounds the generator. The generator is barely stable. In case the generator fails, three backup AM generators have been activated. These aren't as powerful as the main generator, but all three of them together are as powerful as the main generator. The AM generators are positioned close around the main AM generator, in an equilateral triangular formation, yet a safe distance away.
Two crews with rocket launchers, three for each, has come in, and loaded their rocket launchers. These are HEAT rounds, so these are explosive, yet these have armor-piercing capabilities. They then fired at Hikaru, ignoring the fact that the generator would most likely damage the generator or the stabilizers, turning the generator into a ticking bomb.
-
"Oh you've got to be kidding me..." Hikaru barely had time to mutter as she pulled the katana out of the generator. She didn't feel her magic back, and what was worse, she felt the same strong suppression of it. Had it all been for damn nothing? Hikaru didn't have time to worry about it, because at that point, missiles were coming for her?! These guys just didn't know when to give up.
Jumping to the side, she dropped and rolled out of the way as the missiles hit the generator and it exploded in bits and pieces. The barrier would keep the explosion from harming her, but even with the unknown source adding to her spirit energy, there was a limit. Hikaru didn't know the limit it, but she knew it couldn't last forever. "Dammit, Dammit, Dammit!" She swore, as she jumped behind what looked like another generator. Wait... another one?! But she didn't feel a magic pull from this one... Did this mean they had more than one thing to stop magic? Perhaps other things? There was only one way to find out.
Hikaru now had her plan. "Let's play follow the sage..." She whispered to herself, crouching behind the second generator. All she had to do was wait...
-
Of course, the rockets destroyed the generator. Since the generator is destroyed an not unstable, there won't be such a big explosion.
This generator wasn't a generator. Each generator has its own room. What she's behind is a stabilizer. The Aralangs know her idea: to get them to destroy as much as their own equipment as possible. Instead of shooting rocket launchers, they slowly got to her sides as they shot her, attempting to surround her.
-
Only, they moved too slowly. But why weren't they attacking? Hikaru wondered. Sure, they were still shooting the guns at her, but why not the missiles? It didn't make sense. Had they figured out her plan? In any case, if they did, she would just have to make another. Locating the door behind her, Hikaru quickly ducked down to avoid the fire from her sides. Opening it, she went through, but not before first focusing on the spirit energy. By the time she had gone through the door, she was not one, but five Hikaru's.
It was time to find the rest of the AM Field. She NEEDED her damn magic. There was no way she could keep this up forever...All five Hikaru's split up.
-
She would be the one to move too slowly. Defenses have already been set up. Three heavy machine gunners have been set up around the door, 20 feet away, mounted on a pile of sandbags. Two rocket launcher crews have been positioned between the three heavy machine guns. 6 other Aralangs stood by with their rifles. They all fired at once, the rockets and the bullets flying. Then, another HIkaru came out, then another, and another, and another. Five Hikaru's? What's going on? This did not stop them from attacking though.
The infrared and biological sensors confirm that these are not illusions. Are these clones?
The chasing Aralangs caught up with the five Hikaru's, and fired, even though they were confused. They know that these represented a criminal, so they had no reason to not shoot at them. They made sure not to hit other Aralangs on the other side, in the other room.
-
The instant the five Hikaru's walked through the door, they ducked, and hit the walls. Hikaru didn't know they were waiting, no. But with what was happening so far, she wasn't about to take any chances, and seeing the fire from the corner of her vision, she knew she had made the right choice But she was far from being safe. Before the dodged bullets and missile's could hit the opposite walls, her and the other four Hikaru's rased one hand in a sweeping motion while runing. Cast in spirit energy, the pull from the spell levitated the airborne attacks and directed them at the generator within the room.
All five had done the spell gesture, but to conserve energy, only one had actually done the spell. It would remain unknown as to which. But with the distraction of the confusion from the controlled attacks giving them little time, Hikaru and her four clones made it to the next door, but did not go through. Clinging to the walls, they waited first to make sure the generator had been hit. If it hadn't, it would be all in vain.
-
The rockets hit one backup generator, destroying it. This encouraged the Aralangs to not use anymore rockets. The tank crews then switched to their rifles.
Beyond the next door is a tank, aiming at the door, waiting for a Hikaru to come through. 6 Aralangs are at the sides of the tank. Behind the tank is the second backup generator, surrounded by 7 soldiers. There are two doors. One to another room, and a door to the generator. 4 Aralangs, two for each, are in front of the door, guarding it.
-
"I can't keep this up forever..." Hikaru muttered to herself, grabbing onto the handle of the door, while the four clones of her slashed what bullets they could out of the way. Though she didn't have the time, she froze before going through the door. So far these guys had been ahead of her one step each room. She could now feel the pull on her magic weaken thanks to the destruction of the generator, but it wasn't enough. She still couldn't call to it. If they had another surprise waiting in the next room, what the hell was she going to do?!
"Be ready," She said to the clones, and opened the door, the clones of her jumping ahead and going in through first.
-
The tank shot at the ground at the doorway soon as the door opened, knowing that they are all right on the other side of the wall. The plasma shot went at over two miles per second. Seeing as this is a room, the shockwaves bounce off the walls. The Aralangs have some resistance to the blast, and that saved them from injuries. The area hit was melting slightly, and there was an explosive blast where it is was hit. The Aralangs then shot at any Hikaru's in sight. The tank quickly reloaded.
The Aralang troops behind them chased the Hikaru's, yet stayed clear for the tank blast.
-
It appeared that Hikaru had guessed right. The clones hit, they burned up in the plasma and a mess of Spirit Energy, leaving the real Hikaru underneath them. Not bothering to stick around, she jumped up, and ran for it, ducking, and dodging bullets, as she slid underneath the tank while it took the time to reload.
Though she could probably do damage with the katana, to the tank its self. She wouldn't. Hikaru didn't know much about technology, but she knew enough to know the damage a tank could do, especially by the impact it had on her clones. She instead focused on the spirit energy, forming an image within her mind. Once she had the image, she expanded it to outside of her mind. About now, the Aralangs would be seeing Hikaru run out from under the tank and towards where she sensed the generator. Only... it wouldn't be real. An Illusion!
-
Two Aralangs got to the front of the tank before Hikaru. One of them hit her in the chest with the muzzle of the rifle. The other hit her in the back of the head. 4 of the other Aralangs went around her and started beating her down, kicking her and hitting her with the rifles. Some tried to push her down. If bullets won't work, then melee combat is the next thing. The tank backed away in the process, maintaining distance from Hikaru.
-
Before the first one could hit her in the chest, she threw up her leg and kicked him straight in the nuts. But then fell forward from the blow to the back of her head. Dropping to her knees, she knelt on the ground and threw one arm over her head to shield, while using her other hand to swing the katana in an arc shape, aimed for their ankles. The blade still alight with spirit energy, it sent out waves of it in mid-swing. Dammit! She had been hoping they wouldn't go for melee.
-
The guy buckled over in... pain? It's not actually pain... but whatever it was, it was enough to make him go down to the ground, bucked over. It also made him sterile for a good few seconds.
The others kept at her. Two of the Aralangs have been slashed in the ankles. They both cried out in pain as they fell to their knees. One behind her kicked her in the back, pushing her down. One of them pressed the foot down on the wrist that held the katana, immobilizing that arm.
The two kept beating her down, one hand with the rifles, the other hand keeping them up. The cuts were bad enough to prevent them from standing. The rest continued beating, kicking, and stomping her down.
The Aralang forces chasing her eventually caught up to her. They began to surround the scene.
-
Hikaru fell to the ground. She could feel her wrist being crushed, but this didn't make her drop the katana. She couldn't! It was her only damn weapon left! Practically eating the ground from the beat down, the only thing Hikaru could really do was thrash about, which accomplished nothing. But she wouldn't be captured again, dammit! She had gotten this far... She couldn't allow it under any circumstance!
Reaching her free hand out, while withstanding the the beating for as long as she can, Hikaru grabbed the blade of the katana. Because it was alight with spirit energy, and so was she, the blade didn't cut her. Once she had a grasp on it, she let go of the hilt with her crushed hand, and stabbed what was left of the blade hanging out her other hand, into the leg of the two Aralangs on her other side.
Then with the distraction of that, Hikaru rolled herself over, and kicked at the the fifth Aralang. Wasting no time, she jumped up, threw the katana in the air, and levitated it into the generator at the speed of a bullet, a fast levitation. Because the katana still had spirit energy around it, at impact, it would explode. Not sticking around through the levitation, Hikaru ran like hell towards the door she could sense the next generator through.
But that wasn't all, because her clones had been made completely of spirit energy and not a spell, when they were hit they were destroyed, but the energy could not be. Instead the lingering spirit energy went back to Hikaru herself, forming around her as barrier.
-
The two fell to their knees, hitting with their rifles. The one standing got hit in the shin. He hopped around for balance for a few seconds before the pain went away.
The tank shot it's machine gun at Hikaru, when it realized that Hikaru was winning the melee fight. It made sure it didn't hit any of its own troops. When Hikaru's on the run, it shot its main cannon at her. The generator exploded and got destroyed. Two soldiers at the next door shot at her, then went into melee combat again when she was close enough.
Behind the door is a Fighter, ready to fire.
-
The pulses from the machine guns were useless, as the former spirit energy of her clones was now around Hikaru as a barrier. But the cannon? That was another story. Raising her hand that wasn't crushed, the other one she could barely move, she took hold of the plasma blast from the cannon through levitation, and aimed it at the the door she was running to. Usually a feat that would have been almost impossible, but with two generators gone by now, she started to feel her senses coming back. Her magic wasn't, but her ability to sense things around her, wasn't quite as blocked anymore. This gave her the ability to sense the oncoming cannon before it could hit her.
If they had no way of stopping it, the cannon blast should have broken through the next room enough to take out the element of surprise as to what she was going to next face. Because at this point in time, Hikaru knew they had something. She didn't know what, but so far they had thrown everything but the damn kitchen sink at her. Was that next? Who the hell knew?!
-
It revealed the Fighter hovering, alright, and the Aralangs are pissed. Now, martyrdom is in effect. The Fighter shot all of its guns at Hikaru, disregarding the wall, which gave way very easily, and straight at her, ignoring the fact that there are many Aralangs and a tank there, and they would be killed. The Aralangs ran out as the Fighter shot at Hikaru. Some survived, but most of them didn't. The tank melted, and the Aralangs are no more. Every single Aralang that was still in the room has been killed from the blast or the heat. Hell, many holes to a room below has been opened. The room below has several Aralang soldiers, looking up. They saw Hikaru, and opened fire on her.
The generator is around the corner of the room, in a widened, circular part of the room. The Fighter itself would block the way partially, but the shields would block the rest.
-
They fire on their own people? What the hell?! Hikaru barely had time to think, as the fighter fired on her, luckily the barrier had saved her. In fact... As she stood there in shock, but also in one piece, the barrier had increased in size, not just around her, but around the whole room. Everything aglow with the eerie multi-spectrum of colored spirit energy. Just, what the hell was going on? By all rights, she should have been dead ages ago, back in the first generator room. She almost used up her whole spirit, her whole being...but by some miracle she had lived, and had more energy then ever?
And now....this? Where was all the energy coming from?! The barrier hadn't just expanded, it had also increased in strength as well. It seemed more powerful, more solid...and yet....familiar... too familiar... But that was impossible? Wasn't it? Her senses partly returned to her, she could sense Revelations in the barrier, but it wasn't magic, it couldn't be.... Unless.. but again! That was impossible!
Still.. impossible as it was, she couldn't ignore her senses. If what she felt was true, the Revelation magic was all around her, in her. But around it, it held spirit energy... as if it was coated with it, keeping the magic usable, by providing the spirit energy its self a shield.. If this was true then...
Hikaru clenched the fist of her good hand. "I suggest you all leave, NOW!" She shouted, to the Aralangs. Hikaru understood now. By taking the book into her, it seemed she had tapped into its power, its inner power and magic, and the spirits of all those that had ever used it and sealed themselves. Because of the AM field, the spirit had merged with the magic and provided it an outside casing, letting it exist in the field. In her shock of what they had done, the power she had tapped into not only saved her, but also saved what she was thinking about.
If all of this was true.... Things were about to get hectic. "Martyrs or not," She muttered, sparking with the Revelation Spirit Magic that flowed within her now, thanks to being one with the book. "Get the hell out of my way, if you want to continue living."
-
What the hell? She survived THAT? Under an IAM field? Something has be helping her a lot. An anomaly has been detected in Hikaru. The Fighter made a noise, as if it was an emotion, like a voice. It sounded like it was curious. It certainly wasn't mechanical. Sounded a bit like a low-pitched horn, and a growl. The Aralangs attached themselves to the ships, the Fighter included. It circled as if it was analyzing. Anything in the shield's way gets disintegrated.
The Fighter slowly and curiously moved into Hikaru, the shields making contact with her, poking her, seeing if it does anything.
-
Too slow. Before the shield could touch her, Hikaru was gone. In the air and hovering near the ceiling above the fighter. She observed from her place as one of the walls disintegrated, and she could see more of the room above. The AM generator didn't seem to be there. Then where was it? Wait! Why did she even care? She had a form of magic again!
Smirking as she did it, Hikaru held out her good hand and focused on the form of the generator. Forming the picture in her mind from the ones she had seen so far, and calling to where she felt it, she summoned the generator to her, cords and all, but not where she was, no. She summoned it mere centimeters away from the fighter, and then let it drop on the shield.
-
The generator's power source is gone, and the station's only AM generator is gone. The shield started disintegrating it, but then the Fighter used its tractor beam, moving what's left of it away, and used it as a weapon. The Fighter swiped the generator at Hikaru.
-
The remainder of the generator burst into golden flames and turned to ashes, right before it hit Hikaru. With the AM Field finally gone, she could feel the magic literally flow back into her soul, and rejoin her spirit. Mixed with the Revelation Spirit Magic, it seemed to be stronger, more powerful than before, and her own spirit started to slowly restore. Her injuries from the fight, as they were only physical injuries, began to heal up, her wrist as well. With magic returned, her Phoenix DNA had taken effect, and the injuries were no more. Too bad for these guys, Hikaru was back.
Then she attempted to teleport....
Only to find she couldn't.
"Dammit." Hikaru swore. "All of that and I STILL CAN'T get out of here! What the hell?!" What the hell indeed. She had destroyed all of the AM Fields, she had survived, and she had returned her magic to her. But she STILL couldn't leave?! It was how she originally got captured, all over again. She had taken the hostage, they had lowered the field, and she was unable to leave. Only this time.... They couldn't raise the fields again.
"Grrr..." Raising a finger to her throat she cast a voice amplification spell to echo through the whole station. "Either you tell me what trickery you're playing, and how to get the hell out of here . Or I'm blowing this whole damn dimension up, and you with it!"
-
"We're martyrs", a voice said in Hikaru's head. "Your threats mean nothing to us." The Fighter then fired at Hikaru, as well as ramming into her.
Suddenly, there was a rumbling sound. The ground started to shake, then the whole room started to shake. It intensified. Whatever it was, it was big.
-
The shots fired from the fighter merely burst into golden flames as well. Hikaru still had her barrier up and added with her magic, it meant a protection of Holy Fire as well. Without magic, they couldn't touch her. As for the ramming, she just flew out of the way.
"Martyrdom isn't getting your whole race killed for one person, no that's genocide. If you call that honor, I call you fools." She meant to mutter, but because of her cast spell, it also echoed around the station. After her statement, flames of Revelation magic ignited around her. Gathering it to her hands, she pointed to the floor where the fighters attack had broken the floor, aiming for the Aralangs below.
"But if you want your people to die so bad, then so be it. Watch them burn!" At that she prepared to send the wave of flames down with a flick of her hand. But then she froze...her hand in mid-flick, the wave of flames stopping in mid-air. What the hell?! For some reason she couldn't do it, she couldn't send the spell all the way, or even make that hand move further. When she tried, it just stayed frozen.
What was going on?! Why couldn't she kill them, dammit?! With all her hatred of them, and everything they had done to her, including keeping her there. Now when she had a chance to make her point, she couldn't seem to do it. She just couldn't bring herself to kill any of them, or even feel the inclination to do so.
This thought raced around in her mind as she lowered her hand, the flames fading. Just what was wrong with her? Killing? Second nature, ....right?
"Very well then..." She cast the barrier just around herself, and reinforced it then turned around to face the air. "I'll just get myself out of here.." she muttered the last part to herself.
-
The Holy Fire actually helped the plasma, due to the increase in heat, but the heat has been too dispersed to go through.
"We are willing to sacrifice the entire race over one person. Don't tell us what is foolish about our ethical way of the living and the dying," said the same voice in Hikaru's head.
The Fighter sensed Hikaru's confusion. She can't kill, but why? She already did kill some Aralangs back in Aralia, so why not now? The Fighter circled around as it read her mind, trying to find out why.
The rumbling and the shaken intensified. It would be very hard to stand at this point.
-
When Hikaru had found what she was looking for, she spread her hands out, running them through the air, focusing. " Well, you picked the wrong person. But don't be alarmed, I'm not going to kill you." She chose her next words wisely while at the same time focusing. She couldn't kill for a reason she didn't know why, but they didn't need to know that. No...that'd be too nice. I'm going to let you live in defeat, and the knowledge that you fell to one little girl, one sage, one person, ... One magic user.."
She smirked, while stating that, an expression of mocking spreading across her face." But know this, you've lost. I may not be able to teleport, or even make a portal. But I don't need to. My brother once used a spell to take us to the Mortal Dimension. A dimension none of us even knew about. How could he do that? Teleporting requires to know the place in your mind, before you can go to such a place. A location unknown to even the magic user? Near impossible. For years I studied just how he did that....and eventually I found a way to replicate, and improve that method. But you already knew that, didn't you? Well now you get to see it from the other side."
Finishing her speech, Hikaru focused her mind completely and reached out to the Dimensional Energy, sensing and taking hold of the energy that made up the walls of the dimension its self. What kept it together. When she had a hold of it, she gently pulled her hands, the air around her becoming slightly distorted. If she pulled harder, she would rip a hole in the dimensional wall, but that would accomplish nothing except to lead to the space in-between dimensions. Hikaru didn't want that, so she went further.
Holding onto the dimensional energy, she reached her mind out, focusing on one point in location, like you would if you were to teleport. But because she couldn't teleport, didn't go that far, and only kept the point in mind. Reaching out further, with magic to aid her, she grasped the dimensional energy of the location as well, a very familiar location, The Outerverse.
Hikaru had never really did this spell before, but she had practiced for years. What she had told the Aralangs was true. She had studied her brothers methods, years and years,
trying to replicate it and understand it. When at last she had figured it it out, she worked to improve it. Doing all the training on the Outerverse, it seemed easier than any other location. She had a better grasp on the dimensional energy there, and she could manipulate it further for a reason she didn't understand. At last, when she had perfected and improved the spell, she never tried it. She didn't have the need to, as the only reason she had seek to replicate it, was to merely show that she was just as powerful and even more powerful than her brother.
She never needed it, till now.
With both the Dimensional Energy of the Prison Dimension and the Outerverse in hand, she tied the two together then pulled more forcefully, drawing all of her magic; Phoenix, Revelation, Revelation Spirit, and even tapping into her unlocked Genesis Magic, all into to that one action. Energy cracking, and sparking everywhere, the distortion in the air began to widen and grow, taking over the whole space around her, and almost the entire wall she was floating near. Through the distortion, the Outerverse was starting to be revealed, bit by bit, and then finally. The Dimensional wall having been ripped so forcefully, tore completely in that one area.
It had been done. Both dimensions had been ripped through, and by magic, tied together, permanently. Hikaru, now completely drained, fell through to the Outerverse side, collapsing in what looked like an area of grassy meadow, a resulting shockwave of magic signature burst through both dimensions and the mortal dimension at impact to the ground. In other words, any and everyone on the positive side of the Dimensional Plane would feel it. She collapsed and fell unconscious.

"That's one reason why we respect magic," the Fighter said to her telepathically, making the voice in her head. "We respect it because of its potential."
Everyone was amazed, including the Fighter, when she put the two dimensions together. Now THEY are the confused ones. It can't be a portal. It's in an AP field. For the Aralangs, the other side is uncharted. The Saraton Energy barrier has been breached, and it has a massive hole. The barrier is unable to close the hole, either.
The rumbling quickly stopped. It was a Keeper, trying to get the field to cover the area. I apparently failed. The Keeper is badly damaged on the way. The AM field covered the entire area, but that apparently didn't close the rip.
The Fighter slowly went through, suspicious of anything that can go wrong. Suddenly, as soon as it sent into the other side, the Fighter dropped to the ground, dead. Aralang troops arrived at the scene. They slowly went into the Outerverse. They quickly found out that every electronic device on them is dead. What's going on? Well, nothing is harming the soldiers. Some soldiers stepped back into the Aralang Dimension, finding their gear powered up.
