Blaze made his way to the planet after hearing about this new 'Nova' corporation. Specifically, he wanted to check out a new technology of theirs...The Hammerspace System.
OOC:For future reference, I allowed UnSteller's Nova corporation to be the developer of the Hammerspace system Blaze'll use after he asked. So the Paxens get Hammerspace. ;D
-
OOC: :D I was going to do this differently, but that works, too! I like you a lot Red.
The Nova Corporation factory was found nestled in among the mountain, a large but discreet building.
-
OOC: Hammerspace is an epic name.
-
OOC:Whee Im well liked! :D
And yes, K2. Yes it is.
Nevertheless, Blaze found the building, asking a few others where to find it. Moving his heavy, heavy armor up the mountain, even with the systems that allowed it to move with him, he said,"Who the hell puts a weapons manufacturor building on the top of a damn mountain!?" as he tiredly climbed the steep mountain. After getting to the building(after a few, painfully tiring hours of climbing the mountain in heavy armor), and pausing for a breath in the lobby, he said to any receptionist,"Damnit...*panting*If you dare...*breathing*tell me I need a reservation...breathing*I'll, I'll, I dunno, just dont tell me I need a reservation...I need to sit down..."
-
The receptionist helped him find a seat, but he weighed too much and it broke. "Sir, could you remove your armor sir?" She asked sheepishly.
-
"I could, but then you'd know my face. People in my profession dont live long when other people know our faces, names, or anything really." He said opting to lie on the ground instead for a bit.
After a couple of(probably akward) minutes, he got up, and went back to the counter. "Um, yeah, Im sorry. When I came to the planet, I didn't know it was up a mountain...And this armor's really heavy. Anyhow, I came over here to buy a product of your's I heard of that'll help me carry stuff around. The Hammerspace System, I think it was called?"
-
The receptionist, a green haired girl with glasses, pointed to a map in the foyer. "We don't sell our merchandise at the front desk, sir." She said meekly. "Follow those directions to the store. It's pretty easy to find."
-
"Ah, alright. Thanks, then!" He said, going to the map. After getting there, he had the map visually saved to the armors databanks, and overliad it upon the normal optic scanners. That way, he wouldn't get lost.
He then used the map to find the store, and went to the front desk. "I'd like to place a order."
-
A young, goatee'd man looked up at him. He was wearing semi-formal clothes, and nodded courtly. "Of course. What would you like?"
-
"One of your Hammerspace Systems, my good man." He said, looking around the store. Not bad stuff, a lot of the merchandise looked very effective. But, that'd be for later, if he got a chance to. He needed a more permenant base than the shack he was living in at the time, after all.

The laws of weapon distribution in the UP (or, at least in Macht) was simple. Don't sell to foreign empire, and don't sell anything dangerous to anybody underage. If you used any acquired weaponry irresponsibly, you were branded on the neck and lost all weapons privileges besides your natural magic. The shop was small, as Nova Corp didn't sell many wares and usually just shipped it's items in bulk to other merchants to sell. But if you had the patience to go out of your way, you would be rewarded with the the Nova Corp Equipment Store. At the far end, there was a row of Shildwacht on display, posed in various ways like life sized action figures. signs put in front of them about features and a hefty price. Going through the rows, you would find an entire row of black, ridiculously over sized coats that any Paxan would know was a Jakleauti, a two solid pillars of Stage 1 and Stage 2 Magnifanium and a liquid container for Stage 3 with the words, "Custom items built to your specifications!" on them all, which was right next to the row with sturd, rigid plastic boxes containing the AAM device, AAP device, the PDG, the Hammerspace system, as well as the SPLITTER gloves. One row was dedicated to the EMP devices, whereas the other rows were more for civilians, although bold advertisements about the new Houtbewerker-class ship were posted all around, with order forms available. Nova Phones, the Nova Gaming System, every game available for it, Nova Screens, the shop was packed with all things Nova.
"Sir," he said, again, very politely but very firmly, "The UP has a very strict policy of not selling to foreign empires..."
-
Blaze scoffed at that. "Well, see, key word in that:Empires. You see, that makes a pretty good loophole for me:Im neutral. Bounty Hunters dont typically align themselves with anyone, y'know? Point is, I ain't part of a foreign empire. In fact, I ain't part of any empire!"
-
The man nodded, smiling. "I believe you. It's right down that aisle." He said, pointing.
-
"Ah, alright." He said, going down the isle and picking out the system. After doing so, he went back to the counter, and got out a credit-card-whatever-they-use-to-store-massive-quantities-of-cash-in-the-future to pay for it.
-
The man, name tag identifying him as Ryan, slid the card through, the payment accepted. He handed the card back. "Want a bag for that?" He said, as a joke.
-
"Nah, I good." He said with a chuckle. He then said,"See ya." and with that, he left with the system in hand.
