It was done. The Aralang Special Forces had taken the Outerverse, which might as well have been sage holy land. With the Outerverse taken, that left the sages with no proper place to meet... Or did it? K2323 decided he knew the perfect place for the meeting to occur – A place the Aralangs couldn't possibly scan.
Zaned, former homeworld of the Nyx Federation. In the Tri-Aid Galaxy, where the Aralangs would already have a hard time finding Hikaru in, even with her beacon. The space debris only helped to improve this idea. Finally, the planet, with a bit of help from K2323, was giving off an EMP-kind-of-effect which shut down technology from use on or around the planet. The Aralangs wouldn't be able to trace Hikaru.
Around the planet, K2323 had created a barrier of some sorts. It would only allow those with magic capabilities to enter the planets atmosphere, via teleportation or otherwise. Any non-magic users would not be able to get past the barrier, and their technology would be EMP'd. This was the ultimate sage safeworld. It was a hidden world.
K2323 grinned as Chal, who was quite surprised, sat in amazement. Before the two, K2323 had risen a structure from the debris and ruins of the planet. It was a great building where the meeting would take place. Inside, there was a large conference table which could several, several people. The tables also came with 'Mazelo' which were small 'menus' which would allow those seated to summon wines, foods, or whatever else they might need from the other rooms of the structure.
This building was to forever be known as the Sage Hall. It was a grand building full of magnificent design and grand structures. K2323 and Chal, upon entering the Sage Hall, admired the building for a few moments. Finally, the two took their seats at the table, Chal trying to summon wine but being denied by the Mazelo because he was not of age. This was going to be a long day.
K2323 finally did it – He sent out a spell which completely exhausted him, calling forth magic-users from both Hell and the dimension they were currently in. It was a message which only magic-users would be able to read. It simply said the following:
“Arrive at the source of this message ASAP... The Third Sage War has begun.â€
So, it had been announced. The Dimensional Conference Of Magic was in session.

Materializing in the room was Avaron Vasuta along with the other sages he had gathered including Peridas. All of them would help with plans for the war against the Aralangs. Twenty Warrior Humans armed to the teeth had come with them as well.
“What is this meeting about?â€

Nosferatu was in Benjamin's office in a flash. Benjamin turned, a grim expression on his face. "Mr. President, I-" Benjamin cut him off sharply. "I know. I heard it too. Inform the other states to be ready for anything, and have Imprecarris monitor magic activity on the whole planet. I must get ready." Nosferatu's eyes widened. "Get ready? You don't mean-" Benjamin cut him off again, "I'm going. And you, as my Vuist are coming with. The Imprecarris will be fine without you. If they weren't, they don't deserve the title." Nosferatu nodded, opened a portal, and left.
Benjamin turned, and waved his hand, opening a portal. It was unlike anything he'd made before, it glowed white, unlike his usual red. He, like many of the Paxans leaders and other magical Paxans, was about to go through the ancient ritual of voorbereiding op oorlog, a sacred ritual done in preparation for war. He stripped down naked, leaving all clothing and technology he carried on the ground as he stepped through the portal.
Around the planet, the Imprecarris opened the same white portal. Syra did as well, as she had heard the message, and so did the eleven governors and their Vuists. They were all going to the same place, a sacred pocket dimension deeply rooted in Paxan culture.
Het Badhuis.
--
To fight a war you had to do it for the right reasons. You had to be pure and ready. The Paxans weren't starting a war. But they might be joining one. The voorbereiding op oorlog ritual consisted of bathing in a Stage 3 Magnifanium bath, washing yourself pure, practicing your forms, and dressing for war. When Benjamin finished, he went to another pocket dimension (one generated by his personal PDG) and dressed in white slacks, light white slip ons, and a white beater under his maroon Jakleauti. He attached Nova AAM, and AAP devices to his Jakleauti, along with a PDG. He put on his Magnifanium SPLITTER gloves, took up his new Stage 2 staff, and finally, his pair of Spacefarers. He met Nosferatu, who was clad similarly, back in his office. They nodded to each other, and focusing on the source of the message, opened a portal and stepped through.

Tepper Teleports into the room
Tepper- Alright im here...Got into a bit of a fire fight on Xap
-
Nisorin and Celestie, evicted from the Outerverse, teleport into the place and look around. "Not bad. Could use some more plants though, make the place a bit more inviting." She says, before taking a seat with Nisorin at her side. "I can't believe we let them take the Outerverse." She adds, resting her head atop the table. "Cheap little bastards have no honor or manners. They don't even know enough to ask permission before reading people's minds. They don't deserve the Outerverse."
-
Isaac Tanak teleported grimly into the conference room. He sighed and looked around at the others who teleported in before and after him. As a very strong mage, as well as being a very old sage, he was allowed in without comment. He sat in one oif the chairs near the head of the table and awaited the meeting to start.
-
Tepper Walks up and Starts to chat with K2
Tepper- What is the meaning of this K2
-
K2323 smiled, looking around at the new arrivals. "Perhaps a few plants are in order. Would you do the honors, Celestie? It could use a feminine touch, I suppose." He turned to Tepper. "This meeting is in regards to a conflict with the Aralangs. All will be discussed in due time, we still have some arrivals to come."
-
Tepper- Fair Enough...but this mean that the...
he pauses
Tepepr whispers- The third sage war?
-
"We're going to destroy the Aralangs," K2323 replied casually.
-
Tepper- And what about Sudnetor...my Employees
-
"It's not the entirety of the Aralangs that's causing the problems, just their Special Forces. From what we've seen, the standard Aralangs cannot control the actions of the ASF." Celestie explains, looking over at K2323 as she spoke. "War is called for, yes, but not against the entirety of the Aralangs, if it is avoidable."
-
Tepper holds out his hand
Tepper- And you are?
-
Lauren had been intrigued by the message, and used her own magic to teleport to the location. Wherever it was. And a war of Sages? She'd heard of Sages...Didn't know much about them, other than their obvious proficiency with magic...But why would they be going to war? This was odd...So, she might as well learn a bit about it. Maybe, just maybe, she could stop this senseless fighting before it started, though the necromantress doubted it. Still, she'd never know if she never tried. So she took a seat, and decided to listen to what was going on before saying anything.
-------------
Cero arrived in a dark fading-in-sorta thing. Sorta like teleportation, but aesthetically different and much less noticeable. Hmph...Looked like a lot of mages. True, there were a lot of Sages, but he saw other beings...So, it wasn't just a war between Sages. A alliance in the forming? Maybe, that would explain why non-Sages were being invited. But against who? That...He'd need to find out. Well, so long as he got to kill, he didn't really care. But knowing the specifics couldn't hurt...
Desmaldo, however, was a gun...He didn't know it, but it seemed there was a strong dislike of technology there. While they might notice Desmaldo was magic himself...They might also notice Cero's lack of a spirit. This...Might not end well. He also noticed two mercenaries that came in soon after. Desmaldo made him keep a eye on their weapons...The mercs were also Possessed, but not fully like him. He'd need to know about them...
-------------
The Mercs made their way towards the Planet, deciding not to have their main force too far away. It would seem that a Archive ship were coming this way, except with other forms of technology aboard...And it had a much different paint job and the such. However, upon detecting the anti-technological measures of the area nearby the meeting location, they decided to leave the ship a ways away. Not too far...But close enough that the others would be able to help Hiro and Sara if they needed it. Not directly, bt able to teleport on a moments notice. They didn't wanna lose their leaders, after all.
So, Hiro and Sara teleported there using their object's magic, and went to who they thought was in charge. "So...Whats this I hear about a war, eh? We're soldiers for hire, so...We'd like to know a little about it all."
-
Celestie looks over at Tepper, thinking him vaguely familiar somehow. "Celestie Lertis, Empress of Reloria."
-
Tepper Shakes her Hand
Tepper- Mark Tepper, Grunder Industries Limited. Chief Executive Officer
Tepper also finding her somewhat familliar but decides not to say anything
Tepper- And you husband i suppose?
-
In reply to the question asked by Hiro and Sara, K2323 replied, "All will be explained, we're waiting for some others to show up."
-
The two shrugged, saying,"Fair enough." They then went around to see who else was there, and saw Tepper. "Huh...Mr. Tepper's here. Wonder why?"
-
In a brief flash of light Lincoln, Ryt, and finally Koty appeared, despite being a supposedly omnipotent being under his seal the mortal God looked dreadful. His area under his eyes were black from lack of sleep and exhaustion, and it appeared that he had depleted his stores of magic not long ago. As if he had to do some spell that requires nearly everything he had. "Hello.." Ararus called out to the room, taking a seat at the table as soon as he could. Getting a little help from his son and Lincoln. "I'll be representing my Father, he's currently unable to..think clearly at the moment." Ryt announced, his Lance now gone and he was fully clothed.
---
After losing his fight in the tournament Abel had been pretty bored, played with his hamster a little before eventually returning to the Library to study up on some ancient relics. But after he received the call he couldn't help but come, arriving in a small flash, although the teleportation itself didn't produce any light, he emitted some when eh arrived to alert those around him. "Yo." He said as he looked at the room around him, he could tell by his coordinates that they were on Zaned, the capital of the former super-power the Nyx Federation. By god he would've loved to get his hand on that energy.
-
Nosferatu and Benjamin looked at each other, but kept silent in their chairs. Benjamin had never felt so much power in one room... They definitely had his attention.
-
Celestie looks over at Koty with a bit of concern, before getting up and walking over. "You look like you've seen better days. Do you think you'd be able to rest up with enough time to do the second ritual, before the war starts?" She asks, offering him a cup of the tea he had back at her house.
-
Isaac looks over at them and the quickly filling up room. "Are there any others with whom we should have at this council, or may we begin to assess the destruction of the enemies of our peoples?" he asked in his deep, booming, calm voice.
-
A portal opened, as pure white miasma piled out. Along with a alchemist known as Faote. Even he received the message. The moment he entered though, quite a few people looked familiar.
... Isn't that Koty? And Hikaru? Didn't I see her at this weird place once for information on Zere or something? And there's that other guy I forfeited against... Faote took each of their appearances into account, and looked at everyone else. How the hell he was invited definitely wasn't on his mind. He figured it had something to do during the times he owned the midnight align or something. Ah, good times... Not too many people looked familiar at all. However, of course, the weird looks he got...
"I'm just here for the food. And by food, I mean 'what the hell is going on.' My guys sensed a very disturbing magical fluctuation... and I would like answers. Of course, if you would like food, I'm an excellent chef." Faote stated, as he sat down as well. ... None of my technology is working. Which is fine. Meh.
-
Eli appeared in a veil of white magick, his auara bright and shiny; he was kneeling in a half crouch, his hand placed on the marble floor, the white dust flowing off of him before disappearing into the air. The room was suddenly filled with different scents of things like flowers, sandalwood, cinnamon, and other spices and wonderful scents. Basically, it was scents of everything "beautiful" and "positive" in the world.
"I have arrived." he stated simply, standing up straight and rising to his 6'3 stature. His vivid, violet eyes were alert, ready for anything as she looked about the room, his soft brown hair flowing in his face as he did so. His full lips turned into a smile as he came to a complete stock of the members that were currently in the room. "I am Eli Xenos, pleased to meet you." he said, his smile like a typical, obnoxious teenager's, his eyes closing as his round cheeks went up.
-
Tepper- Well K2 it seems you have attracted a large crowd...
He walks back over to the President of UP
Tepper- Mark Tepper, Grunder Industries. And you must be the president of the Paxon Empire
-
Avaron listened as did the ones with him. It was a shame that Ju could not come in person but he would inform Ju of all the comings on at the meeting once Ju was released. A third war was brewing and the warrior humans would make fine soldiers. He had already spent time duplicating them by the thousands making them number into the millions earlier.
“So what exactly is this meeting about?†asked Avaron as he had other things he needed to get done. Most of the people with him had a war of their own to fight, a war against the Anrufe.
-
In one corner of the room, spiderwebs began to appear, building up in mass. Quickly, the entire corner was filled with whiteness from the spider-web textures... And out of the spiderwebs came the form of KiaB, the leader of the Anrufe himself, in a standard Anrufe cloak. His hood shaded his face so that all that could be seen from that face was red eyes, glowing. KiaB spoke, his voice deep, "Well, from the stories I've heard about the SECOND Sage War, we've got quite the good turnout today."
Next to KiaB, who now took a place in an empty chair, materialized Assassin in a vivid but small and self-contained explosion. The explosives-expert merely laughed at the number of people in the room. He looked up to K2323, curious. "Say, shouldn't there be more chairs? This room's a bit small."
"That it is," replied K2323. With a wave of his hand, the room (and the conference table) expanded significantly so that everyone could have a seat, leaving a great number of seats still available. Right as he was expanding the table, Assassin held up his arm, its white-protective-skin-like-casing seperating itself from his body. In the place of where his arm, which now sat on the table, had been, out of the blood Assassin dropped came a new, regular arm. The white-protective-barrier arm began to grow out and expand into the form of a person... Sirius.
"Ello, all," Sirius greeted, getting off of the table. "Dear, it seems our other members haven't quite arrived yet."
-
Benjamin shook Tepper's hand and invited him to have a seat. "It's good to meet you in person. This is my Vuist, Nosferatu." Nosferatu nodded at him coolly. Syra teleported into the room, wonder in her eyes as she looked around at all the unfamiliar faces.
She felt out of place. But she heard the invitation, didn't she? She was dressed in white, like Benjamin and Nosferatu, and silently took an empty seat.
-
The next Anrufe member arrived as a red, electric-like magic began to surge up and down a seat. The red energy slowly but surely outlined the shape of a humanoid figure. That humanoid figure, the negi known as Reli, materialized. It sat calmly in its seat, observing people... Gathering information on potential future enemies like he was some kind of computer.
With a burst of Negi Genesis Magic, both White and Black appeared in the room. They were fighting, as usual. As the two took their seats, it took KiaB's order to silence them. When they finally shut up, White took the time to notice his counterpart. "K2323! Remind me to kill you when this is all over with!" he yelled.
"Um.. okay?" K2323 replied, "Why is the Anrufe helping us anyway?"
"They killed one of our slaves, someone named Duro," replied KiaB.
Next thing anyone knew, a heat wave seemed to seer across the room at the next arrival. It was the beautiful form of a sixteen year old girl. To put it honestly, she was fucking hot. At least, she was fucking hot for anyone not over twenty. Which about narrowed it down to Chal. It was Red Zero, making her way across the room. She found herself a seat and kept quiet.
In contrast to the heat, the room now seemed to get freezing cold. Ice even began to appear randomly in a seat. Out of this ice came Jikore, an Anrufe member who had been loyal to Chaos at more than one time in his life. Now, KiaB was his leader... And KiaB said that the Anrufe were going to get involved in this war.
Finally, perhaps a surprise to anyone, was the last arrival. It was.. Hikaru. Only it wasn't Hikaru, but a Hikaru-look-a-like, only in a much more girlified form. This Hikaru clone was even wearing hot-pink lipstick. It was Aria, who's teleportation into the room was the most powerful. Her teleportation gave off a wave of darkness.
-
Syra glared, almost jealously, at the two new additions, as Benjamin observed them carefully. You didn't get to a position of power by being easily swayed to the physical appearances of women. Nosferatu looked apathetic. Syra shook her head, and spoke loudly, carefully. "So... Just what the hell is going on?"
-
"Yeah...Why so many people here? 'S just a war, right? And why d'we need so many anyways for a war? Im sure everyone here would like some answers, right? Right?" Cero said, deciding to now make himself better known. Until then, he'd probably been a little unnoticed and nondescript, but now, there'd be more people who'd know of him. Or at least that the *coughcough*'Sage'*coughcough* was in said room and that he existed.
-
Avaron saw Red Zero. She looked enticing to him but now was not the time for such matters. In his father's absence he was acting leader over the Warrior Humans and Justin along with Arceis. He had to act the part at least for now.
“So what exactly is this meeting about?†He asked completely ignoring Desmaldo even though he sensed his presence.
-
In a flash of amber and cyan colors mixed, Rev and Gen, both appeared in the room. Their mirrored eyes reflecting everything and everyone, but somehow letting them still see as well. They looked pretty much the same to anyone that had already encountered them, Rev having short choppy sandy amber-yellow hair. And Gen having long but wavy cyan hair. Except this time, instead of the usual one-piece robes from before, both were in outfits of their own which consisted of a school uniform-like out fit with cloak-like drapery, an attempt they had made to try to fit more in with the crowd.
Both stood barely an inch shorter than the chairs and they each stayed perfectly silent for once, instead preferring to just look around. Never had they seen so many people since they gave the Relorians, Lesh. That was a race. But this? Just, what was this?
-
"Ladies and gentlemen, I will explain everything! Calm down, let us begin!" K2323 yelled. He waited for things to quiet down. "New arrivals will simply have to gain information from you people. I will now explain why I've brought you here, and what this is all about..."
He tapped an option on the Mazelo screen and a glass of wine materialized next to him, which he took a sip from. "You will notice your Mazelos are set so that you may materialize whatever food or drink you'd like... I'm sure we're all going to take well to a drink with this conversation. I've called you here, as you all should know, about a Third Sage War. Now, I'm sure some of you don't know what the Sage Wars were, many of you aren't sages, and a few of you have no idea who I am. That's all good and well.
The Sage War is not a war just among the sages. The First Sage War was a war started by me fourteen or so years ago against an evil man known as Logan Kent. I had been taught of the evils of technology from my sister, Hikaru... As many of you know, it was before those days that three sages known as the Sage Three, three siblings with expert magic, were the rulers of this dimension. I am one of those Sage Three.
At that time, I only had hatred for technology. I fought Logan Kent and his alliance of empires, known simply as 'The Alliance', behind me only a beaten and broken empire. I lost that war, but I am glad that I did. It taught me that technology is not evil, it is simply misunderstood. My empire, the K Empire, became perhaps the strongest empire of its day. It did so by finding the perfect balance of magic and technology in its society."
He took another sip of his wine. "Just weeks ago, my sister led the Second Sage War against the Aralangs. That war was a weak war on our part. We were completely unprepared and had no idea what to expect. And we went into the war senselessly, without even negotiating with the Aralangs about our problems... But now, we have a reason for war.
Just about an Earth-Week ago, my own sister was taken prisoner by the Aralangs. Her capture was not justified and had no real reasoning to it, apart from a fucked up justice system of a fucked up government. My sister proved her title as a member of the Sage Three on that day and escaped on her own terms, even when surrounded by several barriers in probably the most secure prison facility in existence. Unfortunately, my sister is not here at the moment, but she is well aware of what we plan to do here today."
He looked around at the faces of everyone present. "No, you are not Sages, most of you. But the Sage Wars are no longer wars of sages, they are wars of magic users in general... The Earthlings had a word in their 'English' language which translates into 'Sage'. It meant 'Wise'. I think I speak for everyone when I say that we who represent magic users, those of us gathered in this room, are wise, for we speak for entire armies in some cases, and all of us have great potential inside us...
Make no mistake, there will be loss of those who serve you. Some of the ones gathered in this very room will more than likely die in the war. But you will be dying for a grand cause much greater than any of us... We will be dying for magic. Magic which the Aralangs do not respect. Magic which the Aralangs suppress and are hostile against.
This war is not a war against those who use technology. It is not a war against the Aralangs as a people, either. We are going to war against a special branch of the Aralangs known as the Special Forces which refuse to back down from their campaign to kill members of the Sage Three, valued Relorian leaders, and other personnel. The Special Forces have now taken a holyland of magic users... The place known as the Outerverse, a magic land which they have denied its own life by spreading it with anti-magic!
Yes, we will discuss plans of war on this day, here! But first, I propose a toast!"
In front of everyone, glasses of wine appeared, and juice for those underage. "I would like to make a toast to all the races present who refuse to deny magic! We may all use technology as a method of advancing our civilizations, but that does not mean we deny magic! We do not deny life! And we do not imprison great men and women for no reason! A toast... To Magic!"
-
Tepper Raises his glass
Tepper- Here here
-
When K2323 said what he did it convinced Avaron. The Aralangs needed to be dealt with and he had the armies namely the Warrior Humans to back him up but he would also need the help of the Japae. Taking a cup of wine which he materialized using magic he raised it. “To Magic!†All of the people that had came with him did the exact same thing and said the words “To Magic!â€
He said to K2323 “I have a plan that might grant us even more numbers if it succeeds, but we would be going up against someone other than the Aralangs to achieve the goal of granting us greater numbers.†He was reffering to the Japae.
“The Realm of Existence and Japae itself have fallen under the control of the Archive. If we have the realm of existence we can use the books there to unleash horrors the Aralangs have never seen before at them.
Further with the might of the Japae Sages at our disposal we stand a good chance at victory actually if it works. We would need to bypass an AM field that the Archive has set up however in Japae to get there, and an AT field in the Realm of Existence. There are students at the Jima University that might be of help to us if we can gather them. Further I also have in my possession at this moment.â€
“Also, we could bolster our numbers with the sages from the most magical places, like Era Valley for example if they would be willing to help us. My Warrior Humans stand by ready to attack at a moment's notice if anyone needs their help let me know.â€
-
Benjamin was quite stunned. He let the glass sit in front of him, Nosferatu nudged him, holding his glass, but he shook his head and he set them down. Syra cheered and took a long swig of the glass. The president of the United Paxans drummed his fingers on the table, thinking. He touched the glass, and it began to melt, the wine bubbling inside it.
-
Tepper Looks at him
Tepper- What the?
-
"To Magic!" Koty called out rather weakly as he took a drink from his glass, swallowing with a small amount of trouble. Ryt and Lincoln echoed him, the midget was smiling broadly, taking a drink of his own glass before setting it down, motioning towards Ryt to take a drink of his. Which the poor kid did, it was the first toast to anything he had ever been in. "To Magic!" Abel yelled at the top of his lungs, obviously excited at the proposition of a third sage war, the Archive had played a small part in the second, but now they were much, much stronger. Laughing suddenly as he heard Avaron speak, turning his head and smiling.
"Or you could you know, ask politely." Abel mocked, sticking his tongue out.
-
A war...Against a small faction of a empire? How does that work? Lauren thought. Nevertheless, his reasons seemed sound...So, what had she to lose? She shrugged, held up the glass, and said,"To Magic!" before setting it down on the table. She may not fight as part of a offensive force, but she still could help out. Maybe they'd need a medic, or they could use some aid with defense. Heck, since she was a necromantress, she could have her skeletons help out with evacuations or just moving boxes and other non-military parts if it came to it. It didn't matter to her...So long as she could help out, she supposed.
----------------
Cero listened to what he'd said. "Heh...This'll be fun..."He muttered, before yelling,"TO MAGIC!" and swallowing all the wine in one go. "Yeah...Let's kill 'em all! Make a bloody massacre!"
----------------
Hiro and Sara looked at each other, noticing Rev and Gen. "They're here...They're just kids. Hm...Maybe there's more to them than meets the eye..." Hiro muttered, before the other man started his speech. That...Was a very good rallying cry. Hm, not that it mattered to them, of course...But they'd be a good employer, most likely. And to a mercenary, that meant that they'd be good allies as well. "To Magic!" The two said, before drinking a bit of it.
-
Tepper Immediately Speaks up
Tepper- Are we going to be Destoying planets? or dealing it out in Space? and What are the Rules of Engaugement
-
The Anrufe's members each took drinks of their magic, yelling, "TO MAGIC!" right along with the crowd. Sure, they were terrorists. They were killers and explosive experts and had committed genocide on multiple occasions. Some of the members of the organization had been responsible for the deaths of kings and leaders. They were an evil bunch, but even they had morals, and they were proud to be fighting alongside their own kind for once.
K2323 himself gulped down his drink before looking over at the son of Ju. "We will have access to Japae, I presume. The people there would follow me in a heartbeat. I was their leader for over a thousand years, after all." He then turned to Tepper. "More than likely, we will be fighting in space, but if we must, we may need to secure the Aralang government as they have no control over their own men."
He turned to the ladies and gentlemen of the room. "Furthermore, I have an idea which would come to us as useful, but first I must ask to you all.. Does anyone have the resources to create technology, in the number of perhaps millions, in just a few days, which can block the reading of minds?"
-
Tepper Raises his hand
Tepper- as all of you may know i own the Largest Corporation in the Dementional Plane
-
"In the dimension, perhaps," K2323 corrected, "But not the entire plane. In any case, we need that technology to win this war."
-
Tepper- You know what i mean...Now as for the Take over of the Aralang Government...
-
"It may be necessary, but it's unlikely. We will obviously have to secure footholds within the Aralangs... One of our first, primary objectives should be finding out where the Special Forces are based.
-
Eli said nothing, continuing to look about the room; he paid little attention to any of the new comers. Everything that was being said was of course being heard, though Eli didn't really consider it much thought. Mainly, his focus was of Koty, and how weak he was but he said nothing, refraining from any comments that ran through his head. Eli was never one to create destruction, or at least one to cause it anyway. He just wasn't that type of person.
Kylexx appeared, her hair flowing down her thin frame, her vivid red eyes looking throughout the room. The scent of dust and dirt filled the room as she appeared, having came from the old house in which she used to live as an apprentice. Sighing, she took a seat next to Eli, not bothering to ask who he was or what rank he was; she really didn't care. With a sign, she rested her head on her hands, her elbows propped up on the table, her fingers laced within one another as she waited patiently. Sure, she came in late, but just by the way the atmosphere felt she knew nothing too major had happened. Unless these people were disguising it, of course.
-
Reading minds was a problem huh? Well Ju and Avaron both knew of a way that the reading of minds could be blocked. However such a tech would be hard to get at and even harder still to use.
“We might have a solution.†said both of them simultaneously. “But it will take a while for us to put it together.â€
Arceis “And their AM field are a problem. As Justin will soon tell you.†Justin “It is true. I couldn't even feel my own magic while in there, the place stifles it off completely. We may need to rethink the plan if suitable precautions are not taken.â€
-
"The Anrufe may have a solution to that," KiaB finally spoke up, "Blueprints we could make available.. We have a Magiship, perfected with AAM Technology. The question is, pow-"
"I have a solution to the anti-magic problem," K2323 interrupted KiaB. "But we have to recapture the Outerverse for it to work."
-
"Hm...Whats the Outerverse?" Hiro asked, before saying,"We might be able to help with that. We have our ship nearby, and a large group of mercenaries aboard. Depending on the circumstances, we could possibly liberate it. But we'll need to know what it is and how to get to it first."
-
Ju groaned. He knew that Hiro would not be able to make it through the AM fields and that he would lose his magic.
“If I may be so bold...Hiro is hardly skilled enough to block their kind of AM fields as it is, and so sending him is not a wise decision. What we need to do more or less is take out those generators first. My suggestion is that Avaron be paired with both Aria and Red Zero and sent to destroy the generators by doing his metal corruption spell on them after which Aria will supercool the metal and then Red Zero will superheat it, causing it to shatter and thus not be repairable. I have some AAM tech already prepared.â€
“However it will take time for me to put the finishing touches on said tech and to make it genetically locked to the people it is supposed to do, likely it will take a week at least.†said Ju.
Avaron “I suppose that if we invested some sort of armor with an AAM property and the armor was made out of crystal it could amplify the property enough for us to take down their AM generators, but we would need to choose 3 people to do it. I nominate myself as the leader of said expedition. I can move fast with my shadow travel spell. Their AT field wouldn't be able to affect it. Any one want to volunteer for said mission?â€
-
Hiro turned towards the man who spoke. "With aaaaaaalll due respect, while I am skilled with magic, I have other means to fight. Im a mercenary. Dont underestimate those you do not know."
-
Tepper- Grunder Industries can get access to the AM generators
-
"The Archive is the leading organization on the advancement of technology, we ALREADY have technology that can do that. We have one the largest fleets in the known universe and the best equipped and best trained soldiers. As Japae found out the hard way, we successfully invaded the Realm and Japae with only a couple hundred thousand soldiers, while they had millions. We are also working on a type of material that allows for use of magic in an AM field, tests show that the magic is weakened, but still capable of being used. Although if it's used outside an AM field the magic is bolstered exactly one-hundred percent, although this material is still in the testing phases." Abel informed, looking into his cup dully.
-
Tepper- K2 i would like to Spearhead this operation....
-
Benjamin stood up. "Ladies and gentleman. I want to thank you for your hospitality." He nodded to them all, even as the wine glass continued to melt. "But I cannot risk the safety of my people for a fight that clearly doesn't involve us. The Aralangs have never given us trouble, and we see no reason to start giving them trouble." Syra sharply stood up and interrupted him. "Now hold on a second, Benjamin!" She said, calling him out in front of the whole room. "We were given help in our time of dire need. It's time we return the favor!" She said, nodding her head in agreement with herself. Benjamin looked at her in shock, and Nosferatu looked up with the shadow of a smile. "This isn't our fight." He said, still a little shocked. "It will be soon! These people are a threat to all magic users. That includes us." Benjamin, got over his brief moment of weakness and stared, a little angrily at her. His hand clenched into a fist and a portal opened up. "Syra, let's talk about this in private." Syra stood up defiantly, and followed him into the portal. Nosferatu followed shortly. It was obvious they had things to sort out.
-
Ju looked at Abel. “Do you mind having your Am fields around Japae deactivated so that the people can resume life as normal?†He needed the people to get themselves up to full strength if a third sage war would indeed happen, soldiers would be needed.
He had however perfected a spell that would take down K2323, Genesis Aura Drain. It would rob him of his genesis powers and likely kill him when it was used against him.
Ace Thunders walked over to where Aria was. “So my former pupil, how goes your training so far?†He needed to be sure she would be ready for what was happening.
-
"I have trained well under the leadership of KiaB," Aria replied, sitting tall. "And have denounced your ways."
K2323 glanced at the display that Benjamin had put on and shook his head, hoping he would come around. He then turned to join the discussion regarding the Outerverse. "You all seem to underestimate the Outerverse. Technology does not work there. It fails. It's a whole different dimension, but it's.. different. I don't know how, but something makes it different. The owner of the Outerverse usually leaves his magic signature on the Outerverse, making him the manipulator of things there... We need somebody to tie their spirit to the Outerverse. That person will then be able to destroy their AM materials."
He turned to Tepper. "When can you have that technology ready?"
-
Isaac sat there quietly for a moment, ignoring the wine in front of him and only mumbling halfheartedly the 'for magic'.
"If I may speak, my friends," he began, his booming voice sounding like thunder. He continued without waiting for permission "we are only fighting a select group of these... Aralangs? These Special Forces? How can we tell they are any different than the Aralangs, with whom we have no quarrel? Do they have any allies with whom they can call for aid? If so, do they have any idea what is going on from both points of view? This is a massive game of chess, and we are starting without knowing where all the pieces lay. If they have allies, perhaps we can convince them of our cause."
-
Tepper- Very Soon...K2 if you allow me to bring my AI in here i can immediately tell them to start
-
“I shall go link my spirit to the Outerverse†said Avaron. He would indeed go link his spirit to the Outerverse and destroy their hated AM devices and try and close the dimensional rip up so they could not come into the outerverse anymore.
Ace looked at Aria studying her. “You don't want Order alive again do you? You traded your Phoenix and Genesis away in order that he would be revived and the Anrufe would be stopped. I remember that clearly.â€
-
"Hold on a second." Sara said, looking at Avaron. "If anyone's linking their spirit to a place, then we should all agree on who it is. I'd say that our leader should be the one to do it. He'd probably have the power necessary to keep it from being taken, as well. Anyone else think anything on that matter?"
-
K2323 took out a summoning stone, a round, obsidian rock, and slid it over to Tepper. "Just summon your AI with that rock and it will bypass the fields I've put around this area." He turned to Avaron. "No, I'd like to send one of my own men... Well, one of the Archive's men, now, I suppose. A man from Japae who has received my training in magic."
Aria replied to Ace's words, "I remember that day as well, mentor. But I have changed my ways, because I have seen the truth that is Anrufe. They are not petty criminals. They have true power. Power that old men like you could only dream of! It is with that power that I shall revive Order!"
K2323 looked up to Isaac, listening to his words. "Hear me, mage! Do not think for a moment that we can negotiate with the Special Forces! We have TRIED that and they repaid us with very real threats of trying to exterminate us! Do not dare, a one of you, to say that these Special Forces are no threat to our way of life! They would have us killed over one girl, and would deny us our right to live for befriending her! We are mages! We must live to protect our freedoms!
"Know this! There are the Aralangs, and many of you have seen their 'Keepers' in the heavens! Many of you have seen their fighters swoop down onto planets! Many of you have known their grace! Many of you have also known their stubbornness and their refusal to acknowledge our way of life, but for the moment, they are no threat! It is the black-colored keepers that are threats! The Aralangs who give off an odd aura of energy that we can not trust! They will surely try to kill each and every one of us for defending Hikaru, or for even defending magic in general, which is all the more reason for destroying them!
"Yes, I understand your concern! We do not have the information we need in some cases, but we will obtain it with the help of the conventional forces! We will recon! We will gather information needed. We will recapture the Outerverse and make it ours! And when that has been done, we will strike!"
-
"Listen to me, brother of mine species. I do not oppose your actions, for they are rightful and just! But, there we must try to avoid a jihad against the innocents! kill, slay, butcher the Special Forces, when you wish, but the innocents are above our wrath for no! They have done nothing to us! Only the Special Forces! And their allies! What of them? They can be destroyed, yes. But why? Why not just convert them to our cause?"
-
Hikari appeared late, wings and halo in no sight, but holding a bundle in her hands that was wrapped up with a maroon cloak. It wasn't known then, but Hikaru had contacted her telepathically and demanded her to sit in on the meeting. Taking a chair across from Aria, she sat, legs crossed, holding the bundle; which seemed to be moving ever so slightly with a hint of magic signature, in her lap.
Rev and Gen both sat in their seats, listening to everything, but staying silent. They were of magic, but so far this wasn't their war. Not that they even know what the real meaning of war was yet.
-
Tepper uses it and the AI appears
Rage- Tepper?
Tepper- Rage tell them to start a project...K2 will give you details
-
"Mr. Rage," K2323 greeted the AI, "A war is coming. We've need shipments in the millions for our forces... Technology which can block the mind from being 'read' or otherwise telepathically accessed from an external source. Perhaps a field would be of better use for us which does the same."
-
Rage- Ill get on that
With that the AI dissapears
-
Ace looked at Aria. Could it be that the programming Order had put into her mind had been removed so that she would no longer seek to kill Hikaru? Well if that was the case he would need to reinsert the programming.
“Well Aria. I am glad you are training at least although I am disappointed that you did not ask permission for the new training first. You had a lot more to learn about healing type Negion before you were ready to move onto the offensive.â€
Avaron “Very well K2323. Send your man if you wish to.â€
Ace pointed his fist outwards and a portal opened to a pocket dimension, the one Aria had been trained in. “Care for a test of your new skill Aria? I need to verify that you are skilled enough before I unlock your heightened Negion Powers.â€
-
K2323 bows his head before looking back towards Isaac. "You mishear my words! We wish to help the main Aralang forces in securing their government to prevent this from ever occurring again! But as for their special forces... I doubt they can be tamed to our words, brother. Destruction is perhaps the only way to succeed in battle... I wish to bring before you today the leader of the main forces of the Aralangs! Is there anyone hear who would oppose this action?"
With that he turned to Abel. "Would you mind if I contacted the man in question in Japae?"
Aria shook her head at Ace's request. "Now is not the time for training, my former mentor. Now is the time for the results of our training. I do not wish to enhance my negion power... I've found a power far greater which I am currently trying to master."
-
Tepper- Sages! Hear me. We need everyone's cooperation for this to work.
Tepper Turns to Ace...Resisting the urge to stab him
Tepper- We arent at war with the Aralangs...simply thier Special Forces. the Sooner you understand that the sooner we can move on
-
"I could not have said those words any better, Mr. Tepper," K2323 said, nodding his head at the man sitting next to him.
-
Tepper- Now i have fought in more Wars and killed more people than years this being has lived
he points to Ace
Tepper- The Key to a successful attack needs cooperation, Planning and above all Leadership!!
-
"And that is why I have called you all here," K2323 explained, "We must form on this sight a Magi Alliance! Here, on this very sight, today this alliance shall plan war!"
-
Ace looked at Aria, worry in his eyes. He worried that she would abandon it making him the only user left and thus he would have to train Perridas as Perridas had requested to wield Negion so that he could fight Aria spell to spell.
Avaron nodded to K2323 and formed a barrier around Ace that would protect him from Tepper as he had sensed the rising hostilities.
Perridas went over to where Red Zero was thinking she was beautiful at least to him. He said to her “So why do you work for the Anrufe?â€
Ju himself mentally told K2323 -One of these days it is going to be you and me. A battle between the two of us for Japae. Now is not the time though so count yourself lucky.-
-
"Certainly, we've already merged the former Japae imperial army into our forces, like you they hail me as a hero. I freed them from the tyranny of the former ruling government and kick started King Ju's reign.. Although we found his ruling lacking, so we decided it would be better if we took over the Government. As for the technology we have already started mass production of this technology weeks ago, but for a different war." Abel said allowed, handing K2323 a small QEB device. "This communicator is linked to the Archive forces in Japae, it's real-time and never loses signal." Abel informed.
Koty however had already noticed Eli, but he was far to tired to take any action against him, but when Hikari appeared in the room with the bundle his shy smile appeared on his face. "Hikaru.." He muttered, standing wobbly to his feet he walked over to her, stopping behind her chair and looking over her shoulder at the bundle in her arms. It didn't look like Koty realized that this was Hikari, and not Hikaru.
-
(How would Ju manage to do this?)
Tepper- Now we all need to know...are you in or are you out?
-
K2323 took the QEB, and after a bit, worked it to send a message to the soldier in question, telling him of his mission, and asking him to appear on Zaned in the building, Abel having granted permission. The soldier appeared in the room, instantly overwhelmed by the sheer magic signature of those in the room, even though most were probably cloaking their true power. He looked up to K2323, bowing, before bowing to Abel. "Lords Abel, K2323... I would be honored to retake the Outerverse."
"Great... God be with you, son."
"Yes, sir... Your training will help me greatly... Then, I shall depart."
"Good luck."
The soldier teleported away. K2323 sent a telepathic message to Ju. "Hear me, former councilman of K. Our battle shall be swift, and there shall be one victor, but we have other things to worry about at present."
K2323 then saw the display with Koty and, realizing that he was NOT hitting on Hikaru, just stared awkwardly. "Uh..."
Meanwhile, Red Zero turned to a sweaty Perrdias, oblivious to his feelings. "The Anrufe? It's sort of a family business, I guess. Why do you ask?"
-
Hikari just sat there, frozen. Thanks to her mother filling her in, she now knew WHO Koty was. But that didn't make it any the less awkward. "Um....I'm not my mother..." Hikari stammered, twitching a bit. "I was just told by her to take care of her son while she was away and then contacted telepathically to sit in on the meeting. Please don't kill me s-s-sir!"
-
A red portal opened again, fourteen people walking in. It was Benjamin and the eleven United Paxan governors, Syra, and Nosferatu. "After some discussions, we, the UP, have decided to commit to the war. However the UPM will stay on Xap. The full force of the Imprecarris are yours to command." Benjamin nodded, and the eleven disappeared back into the portal, which closed. "I'm sure the Nova Corporation will be willing to help, too."
-
"We appreciate your support," replied K2323. "We have a man deployed now trying to take control of the Outerverse. If he succeeds, a full invasion of the Outerverse may be needed to repel their troops."
-
"Nosferatu, gather the Imprecarris and make sure they're ready. Syra, go with him. I know your strength. You're being folded into the Imprecarris." Nosferatu nodded, and Syra looked stunned for a second. The Imprecarris had never drafted women. Nosferatu took her hand and dragged her into a portal.
-
Tepper Whispers to K2- In case this might turn into an all out war with the Aralangs and thier allies i would like to command the Space Armada
-
"Oh..that's weird." Koty muttered taking a step back towards his seat before just blatantly collapsing into a heap on the floor, Lincoln was at his side in a moment, funneling energy and using healing magic quickly. "He was fighting hostile embodiments before the meeting, he hasn't had enough time to heal." Lincoln announced, Ryt seemed to be unaware of his Father being on the floor, he was in fact running hundreds of strategies through his head.
"And no Tepper, your forces would only comprise a small portion of the Armada itself, if anyone is to be the head of the Armada it should be my military leader, he's had more experience in spatial combat then everyone in this room put together." Abel informed.
-
"Mark Tepper, The Archive's fleet is significantly larger than you, though I believe you and Abel could work something out," K2323 suggested.
-
Tepper- Right...we'll kill that deer when it comes
-
Celestie shakes her head, moving to help Koty up. "The Blade Chord and its Lisael brethren would be best suited to the task. The Aralangs will find their AM fields absolutely useless, and hardly know what to do about them. They will treat the Curinote creations as constructs, not ships." She says, smiling at the slightly insane Archive leader. "And with our current research, it may be best for us to head in first, lest our newest weapon hit friendlies as well."
"Aralia and the Outerverse are not the only places we need to consider. The Kalak asteroid field also has a very high concentration of Aralangs. If it's not dealt with adequately, we may be flanked above Aralia." Nisorin notes, forming a hologram map of the Kalak system, complete with recent sightings of Aralangs in the field.
-
When Koty had passed out, Hikari could finally speak again, and speak she did. "But wouldn't it be best to just get out of the war through a peaceful solution?" she inquired, "You say they won' t back down. But the only thing they want is my mother. If it will save the blood shed of everyone. Why not just give her to them? It would save many lives and end this tirade."
-
"So, what's th' plan of action, eh?" Cero asked, getting somewhat impatient. "What'er we gonna do while that guys trying ta' retake the place?"
He looked at the girl holding the baby who'd just spoken. "What'er you, stupid? Ain't she the reason we're all here or somethin', assuming its that girl who broke out o' their prisons yer talkin' about. O' course they wont just hand the lass over." In truth, he didn't care...But considering she just said about stopping the violence, well, he didn't quite want to leave without some bloodshed in this war.
-
"O' course we won't hand the las- Excuse me, but I love your accent!" K2323 replied, nodding his head at Cero. "But this is much bigger than Hikaru now. This is for our honor and our way of life now... And -"
K2323 stopped, receiving a distress message from his soldier, saying that he was not strong enough to take on the force of the Outerverse. K2323 stood up, announcing to the table: "Looks like we're going to need a bit more of a force in taking the Outerverse... Or a lot more of a force. I will go to contribute, myself! I ask all of you to join me! We will attach ourselves to the outerwalls of the Outerverse and merge our spirits with the energies of the dimensions, forming barriers around us to protect ourselves from the dimensional radiation... All of us together, we being the strongest of our kind, will be more than enough to take the Outerverse within moments."
-
Tepper- One more question...How many Guns do we need
-
"To take back the Outerverse?" K2323 asked, "None. To take the rest of the Special Forces? We could use a few."
-
"I volunteer for the outerverse!" Isaac told them all. "Ask it of me, and I will destroy them all."
-
"Considering the current corporations, organizations, and empires currently allied with us, along with my friends the Noverians, a race capable of mass forging at incredible speeds.. I think we're covered when it comes to both raw resources and technological means. And I'll come with you." Abel said as he walked towards K2, Ryt appearing suddenly next to them. "I'll be coming as well, these Aralangs have escaped me once before, I'll provide enough time for you to merge with the dimension." Ryt informed.
-
K2323 stood. "Thank you for your help, brother... What may I call you by, brother? And to you two as well. Who else shall join us!?"
The Anrufe leader, KiaB, stood. "The Anrufe shall assist in your foolish ideal of takeover."
-
Tepper- We will go where we are needed
-
Isaac stood and walked over to him, and held out his hand for a shake. "My name is Isaac Kanak, Brother. And I am proud to stand by the united forces of the magi during this time." he said aloud to the conference room at large. "But," He whispered "I will advise that if any allies can be persuaded, then they should. To prevent needless conflict."
-
Hiro and Sara got up. "Hm...Whats the-Ah, nevermind...I guess we could give ya a freebe, just this once. Me and my friends shall aid you in your noble cause!"
Cero also nodded. "Ah think it'd be a honor to help you out. I, Cero, naw, Desmaldo, offer you my unwavering support towards your goal!"
Lauren also got up, a bit nervous now. "Um...I dont know how strong my spirit is, and I dont think I'll be much help in a fight...But I want to help. I dont know what I can do, but...Maybe I could be a medic, if need be?"
-
Ace looked at Aria nervously. “We can't allow the Aralangs to remain in existence especially not with the SF as uncontrollable as they are.â€
Ju mentally -Very well K2323. For now it is not the time for us to fight. I did some research on your genesis and learned one of the few things capable of killing you and robbing you of the power-
Perridas says to her “Well I was wondering if you would like a temporary 3-5 hour break from being a member of the Anrufe.†He was trying to ask her out but it made him sweat even more.
Avaron “I should go with him in case anything goes wrong or in case the Aralang Special Forces open fire at him.†If the guy died, Avaron would link his magical signature and simply kill the SF.
-
"This is currently enough people, the strongest will be needed to penetrate the dimension's defenses, the rest need to defend us while we do so." Abel instructed.
-
At K2's suggestion, Nisorin and Celestie stand up, tall and straight as they look him right in the eyes. "Reloria will stand beside you, even if it means bringing hundreds of Magis Corps members to the Outerverse." She says, her expression hard as stone as Nisorin starts readying spells already.
Iroku arrives in a block of stone, the armor fully enveloping him as he stares down Nisorin. seeming to understand something, he looks over at K2, the armor receding from his face. "Spirits be with you."
-
"Count us in." said the Warrior Humans, Ju, Avaron, Perridas, Ace and the others with them.
-
"Yes, ma'am," K2323 said to Lauren, "We appreciate your services, however you must be used."
He turned to the volunteers of charging the Outerverse. "This is it, then, everyone."
He created a portal to the outer-walls of the Outerverse, one-way of course. "Be ready to put up barriers as soon as you attach yourself to the outerwalls of the Outerverse. Then, begin merging your spirit with the Outerverse's energies. We will be able to enter the Outerverse."
And so, K2323 walked through the portal, followed by members of the Anrufe.

"So," Fiske said, trying to strike up a conversation with the crowd still present until the others could return, "How about this wine? Pretty tasty, eh?"
-
Arceis sensed that a type of Anti Magic Energy w3as spreading from the outerverse. “Fiske, will you come with us? We could use all the help we can get on Militaria shielding it from the AME that is spreading from the outerverse.†He wanted to make sure the AME did not harm the reconstruction work on the planet.
-
Faote sat in his seat, participating in the whole "For Magic" thing and just pretty much listened. And when the star of the show left, he really had nothing else to do.
But... False Heaven makes use of magic too... so if they were to lose, then they would feel compelled to go after False Heaven as well if everything that person said is true. ... But if False heaven joins in, that breaks the neutrality front. If I fought in this, I would have to fight alone, regardless of my affiliation to False Heaven. ... Dare I join this? Dare I step forth into terror? I've fought wars before, but not like this. That rip we detected... I have a bad feeling. Faote pondered on the entire situation, eventually standing up. He alchemizes a coin with a quick circle he drew on the table. ... Heads, I fight. Tails, I chicken out.
He flipped it. George Washington's head could be shown plain as day. Sighing, Faote flipped it again, still somewhat wanting to chicken out.
Heads again. Faote flipped it again.
Heads. Flipped.
Heads.
Sighing, Faote looked at all the others and back at the coin that laid still on the table. Yo, prophecy, you playing a part in this? Because it isn't funny! Faote angrily thought, flipping the coin one more time.
Heads.
He looked at it. And walked away from the coin to go join whatever conversations there were. "So... guys... wanna see a cool trick?"
Behind the walls, behind the plane of existence, the Prophet was there, holding Faote's original coin. "Such trivial ways to decide, alchemist. But I'm afraid I cannot allow you to back out of this." He muttered, as he faded beyond existence. He left no trace, no nothing. It was as if he wasn't there. He didn't exist at all in the first place. The only sure thing that ensured his existence was that the coin on the table...
... was double sided.
-
Arceis looked at Faote. “Greetings Administrator of False Heaven. I could use your help blocking the spread of some anti magic energy that is spreading from the outerverse.†“We need to find the controller of the outerverse currently and put him out of our misery. Yet who could he possibly be? Even here with the EMP I can barely feel my magic currently due to the AME.â€
-
"I think our best bet here would be to retreat to the world they call Magimeta," suggested Chal, "The anti-magic is probably being repelled there, if the legends of the planet are true."
-
"I did not come as an administrator. I came as a mere Alchemist. I hold no affiliation in this fight because I will fight alone." Faote remarked when Arceis greeted him.
Hm? Anti magic? They are weakened? ... I feel no change though. Not yet at least, but it's probably because I've changed my body to streamline the use of magic and energy. If this is true, I may feel the effect later... But fighting right now would not be smart. And he expects to win with just us two? I mean, I can take on a battalion of ships on my own, sure, but he's basically saying to go straight for the leader, if not someone near that rank. That would mean fighting the entire army to get to said person. It's not impossible, but I'm not willing to take that risk. If that other person that led this meeting is as strong as I think he is, and if he led the previous wars or had some part in them, then the mere fact that his faction was defeated by these aralangs is no small matter.
"... But sorry, I can't help you. The task you are proposing is near impossible for both of us combined. I'll be retreating to Magimeta as well, as to help with production of ships." Faote murmured, as he walked over to Chal. "Got coordinates to the place? Or at least a general idea?"
-
“Allow me to help you instead.†said Arceis holding out his hands and he materialized a soul staff in his hands using it to amplify his weakened magical ability and to create a gate way which would lead them to Magimeta. “There. Through that gate is where you want to go. We all shall go that way our magic will be temporarily up to full strength.†Perridas went through first with the warrior humans that had came.
-
Faote took one look at the gateway and backed away with a sort of disgust. Er... I'll trust my portals over this guy's any day. At any rate, judging from the stars' position in the sky from this gateway, I'd say the coordinates are around 34285888342x89425y3445562. Or at least looks that way. I'll be portal'ing there by myself. Faote took note, and made a portal of his own. It seemed to lead to the correct place, as he took one last look though it. ... Wait, when did I start remembering coordina- oh yeah. I remember. Too much time on my hands from being immortal and all that. Yeah. I'll just go on through now.
-
A worried Chal and Fiske followed Faote through his portal, Chal turning at the last moment and addressing those in the room, "Follow us, it is at this place that we will be safe!"
After he walked through, a note appeared on the table addressed to those outside the Outerverse regarding their new location.
-
Rev and Gen curiously jumped up, eager to follow the others and learn more about the the things happening. They didn't quite get everything, which is the reason they didn't offer help yet. But this was a chance to learn more about it.
Hikari followed as well. She had lost contact with her mother, so there wasn't any reason for her to be there anymore. However, she was still told to take care step brother. And if she didn't. She didn't want to face Hikaru's or Koty's wrath.
-
Arceis and the ones there went through Faote's portal.
-
The Anrufe returned, awaiting for those on Magimeta to return. KiaB spoke to the people still on Zaned. "At this moment, Hikaru has been captured. Our magic has returned and the Outerverse is back in our hands... We must prepare for war!"
-
Ace had been the only one to remain behind as he did not want to go with the others yet. His specialty was not battlefield magic but battle meditation with magic that allowed him to amp up the skills of others since he was not a direct fighter.
“The Warrior Humans are already preparing for war. They have been for quite a while now actually since before Hikaru's capture.†He did not add that the Warrior Humans did not have proper weapons of course.
-
Kylexx seemed to disappear for a moment, but only for a few seconds. When she returned, she was dressed in a crimson red dress, the color of blood, with shoes that could give someone a concussion with the precise landings. They were white and strappy, the heels a good six inches high and two inches thick. They showed off the ankles Kylexx had and the way her body was curved. Along with the new attire, Kylexx no longer smelled like dirt and sut, but instead she had a nice floral type scent. "Sorry about that." she muttered, smiling, her eyes a soft brown color as her hair transformed into a subtle brown color.
"So, what exactly is this for? Has anyone threatened us directly?" she asked, her eyebrows raised in curiosity as she registered Eli sitting next to her and what powers he held. Her eyes were light with the realization, and then she quickly scanned the room and saw the brother.
Of course, they both ignored each other; they were the typical sibling rivalry. You could feel no tension in the air, or at least Kylexx didn't. Eli seemed relaxed and at ease, but at the same time his eyes were tight as he watched his brother carefully, but straying from time to time to focus on other people that were in the room. What if it was Eli and Koty going against each other? Was it safe to have the two of them in this room?
Getting slightly frustrated, Kylexx pulled up her feet and sat Buddha style, mimicking the Chinese God but appearing to be a much, much more smaller version; the anorexic Buddha. Her heels fell off immediately, as she had no real reason to wear them other than to appear nice, and nobody was looking at her feet, or her legs for that matter. Kylexx was a very abnormal girl, having manners in polite situations though normally she would act like any typical tomboy. The dress flowed down and went over her knees, which she had to tuck in tightly because the dress only went to her knees. Waiting patiently, Kylexx's bored mind messed with the bottom of the dress.
-
"They took from us the Outerverse, and tried to kill several of us. That's threatening enough," Red Zero replied.
-
Apparently, Kylexx had been missing from the world for a while. "Ah," she said, her eyes looking down at the table. Maybe she needed to keep a better tabs on the politics that were happening in the world around her. Of course, could you blame her? Being sad all the time took a lot out of you, and it didn't help that she had nothing to do, either. Sighing, Kylexx looked back up at Red Zero. "Was there a specific reason on them for attacking us? Or was it just a random action?"
-
"It all started," KiaB explained for his subordinate, Red Zero, "When Hikaru was arrested for bogus crimes against the Aralangs."
-
Kylexx had the feeling that she was hearing repeated information. "Well, maybe Hikaru shouldn't be making crimes then. What was it she did?" she questioned, raising an eyebrow at the mention of her old apprentice having been up to troubles and theatrical exploits. Kylexx sighed inwardly at the thought.
The name "Hikaru" suddenly had Eli's mind reeling. Wasn't that Koty's lover? Pursing his lips, Eli examined the room, having been listening to the conversation he wondered if the said person would jump up and snarl. But, nobody did such a thing, so Eli thought it was safe to assume that this "Hikaru" character wasn't in the room right now. Koty had gotten up to someone with a baby, and Eli had a sick feeling in his stomach when he realized that Hikaru could probably have a baby, and it's not like you could turn down Koty. Eli flipped through the voices in his head from that particular memory and he realized the girl was Hikaru, but Hikari, the child to this Hikaru girl. Biting back the wave of nausea again, Eli made a small grunting noise as he glared at his brother in disgust.
-
"She set off some harmless magma in a city of the Aralangs, apparently in revenge for something. Certainly nothing deserving of all this fuss," Assassin noted.
-
"Revenge might be amusing for some of you, but it never has positive feedback." Eli all but snapped as he said these words. He knew how people were, how they could get so caught up in little frilly dramatic spats and how it would end with blood in someone's hand. He wasn't against Hikaru, but he wasn't for her either. Everyone knew that trying to get revenge back on someone usually had some form of a retaliation, even if it was immediate and in the way you would think.
-
Ace mentally told Aria to meet him where he had showed her namely the training pocket dimension.
-We have an unfolding situation. Bring an Anrufe member good at seals with you. And hurry- His mental tone seemed urgent as if something very bad was about to happen very soon in the conference room.
-
Aria looked up at Assassin, transferring the telepathic message he'd gotten to the man. The two suddenly disappeared, teleporting to the pocket dimension. KiaB replied to Eli's comment, "Revenge is foolish if you can not get succeed, and then only."
-
"Then she obviously did not succeed, because she was caught. You can't do revenge out in the open unless you know it's result. What she did was stupid." Eli stated flatly, his violet eyes looking at KiaB. "We're going to war because this Hikaru lady make a wrong choice? That's ridiculous." Eli rested his chin on his hands as his fingers laced between each other as he gazed around the room intently.
That's when he noticed Hikari, yet again. Clearing his throat, he beckoned to her.
-
Hikari who was back in the conference again, after the magic hard returned, was now sitting in a chair rocking her 'stepbrother'? Oh god, just what was her mother thinking with this? Jolted back to her senses from the sound of Eli clearing his throat, she looked over to him. Was he calling her over? But who was he? There was something strangely familiar... something almost heavenly about him. If her eyes didn't know better, she'd say he was glowing. Or at least that's what it seemed like, as everything around him just seemed so perfect. What did he want with her?
Promptly standing up with her stepbrother in her arms, she quietly walked over, giving a look of confusion mixed with wonder at him.
-
Eli smiled at Hikari as he stood up. "Come, child." he said, before he opened a portal and the two departed quickly, quietly.
-
Quite entranced for reasons she did not understand, Hikari followed Eli into the portal as it closed behind them. It was almost like she was charmed.
-
"Not getting away that easy." Koty murmured, a portal appearing under him as he fell through. He knew better then to just let his brother get near his son without anyone intelligent watching them.
-
"What's going on?" a curious White asked.
-
A voice filled the room cheering on about the reclaim of the Outerverse as a portal opened to a feast there. Chal followed curiously. A scared Fiske entered not too long after. With the news announcing the unlikely-hood of war, however, the Anrufe teleported back to Ground Island.
-
With the war possibly over for now, some of the defenses around the meeting location lowered.
-
Forget this. I'm going back. Faote angrily complained, portaling back to False Heaven.
