On Hawaii a Portal opened up. A very special portal. It was the portal used by Sages who had lived more than 25,000 years. It had been decided by Gallaghar that he needed to rest and relax on Hawaii. After all he was tired and so why not go to Earth, relax, take in some sunlight and train in the magical arts even more. He did need all the practice he possibly could get after all if he were to ever confront K2323, Kai, Hikaru, Chaos and Zere in addition to Kia B.
He decided upon the Rising Sun Hotel as the place he would stay at. He then opened his portal about a mile or two away from the Hotel as he wished to get some exercise since he needed to cut down on some of his body weight and get stronger. He hoped this hotel had a fitness room he could utilize. He didn't like to change his body using magic unlike many sages he viewed hard work as it's own reward. He would accomplish his final bit of training at the Rising Sun Hotel on Earth. He then began to walk towards the hotel.
Relaxation could never harm anyone. In fact it would put Gallaghar in a much better frame of mind hopefully if no one disturbed him while he was relaxing. If anyone did disturb him while he was practicing or utilizing magic to train with, he would incinerate them on the spot. He had no intention of being annoyed.
-
Fearing it was an intruder, as there is a war going on, the US army came and surrounded Gallaghar, guns pointing at him. "Freeze! What are you doing here?"
-
Gallaghar thought of what to say. They wanted to freeze? Very well. He would oblige them. "I am just here taking a vacation is all. No need for you to fight me. " He then made his sword which hung limply at his waist fade from existence. He wouldn't need it here. Hopefully not anyway. The runes on it repulsed magic. They didn't repulse other things unfortunately like bullets. No for that, he would need his full body.
-
"A vacation? What the hell? That's very hard to believe."
-
"I am trying my best to avoid this accursed war which if I had the manpower with me or the technology, I would put an end to. If merely so I wasn't disturbed by their constant blasting at each other. " said Gallaghar "On this world, they will not attack and thus I can train in magic in peace and solitude without constant interruptions. Now if you will excuse me I must go pay a Hotel to give me a room. " On that note he simply teleported around them and continued walking towards the Hotel.
-
The military then withdrew their forces, but kept a watchful eye on Gallaghar.
-
Gallaghar removed a crystal from his pocket "Best if I travel in style. " He then threw the crystal onto the ground and shot a bit of his own energy into it. "Limo. " He commanded and the crystal became a Limo made out of sentient crystal. He then got in it. "To the Rising Sun Hotel and step on it. I got to put those reservations in today. "
He was then arriving at the Hotel. "Baggage. " He said and his bags appeared in his hand. A large backpack full of spell books he had found on New Dragon Moon a month ago in addition to many Sefas and other relics he needed to get accustomed to using. He did intend after all to live a very long life span and that meant being prepared.
He walked into the Hotel then. He said to the person at the Desk "How much for a week?"
-
"A week would be $499.99," the person at the desk replied.
-
Gallaghar then thought. The price was indeed worth it as this was his only vacation he would be taking in a long time. This was more of part of his job however than he knew of. He then said "Alright. Your money will be here momentarily. " He then concentrated and a hole opened in the air. He reached in. "Ah here it is. " he said after 20 minutes of keeping his hand in there. He removed a gold bar. "Multiply. " He said and 10 gold bars appeared on the counter. "I hope that is enough for you. "
-
The person is frightened of what he saw. "I'll be right back." He then went to a room, where Gallaghar can't see what's going inside. The accountant then called the police, which had reports of a paranormal activity, which then called the army, which came right away. They are the same soldiers, which frightened the other Earthlings. "Freeze! It's you, again! No magic, or we'll have to take you away!"
-
"I was merely using magic to make gold come out of my personal stash in my pocket dimension since he wanted currency. I thought gold would be acceptable. " He then let his magic fade from the room causing every last brick of gold to fade out of existence back to where he had drawn it from. He sighed. Things were not going his way today. "Can't I even go on Vacation without you trailing my every move?!?" "Look, I have gold. I didn't have cash. I was offering to pay what I had. Are there any gold to cash conversion machines?"
-
"We don't have any gold-to-cash machines... You would be breaking our economic system if you do things like that. You need dollars, and cents. You pay with a medium of trade, which has the most absolute value. Of course, you can trade gold for money in banks, but no teleportation."
-
Gallaghar groaned defeated. Clearly Earth would not be the vacation spot he had hoped for. He said to the soldiers "You guys just never will stop will you?" He removed a set of AM cufflinks from his bag and put them on. He would never use magic again on Earth. Not while these douches were around him.
-
"You can't use magic in the public. It frightens people, and makes us mad. In your own apartment, you can do that, but not in public." The military then went away.
The accountant, still frightened, told him that there is a bank several blocks away, that can trade minerals for money.
-
He then groaned. Truly these soldiers were assholes. "Alright. " He then removed something from his back. His staff. Before leaving he said to the accountant "Have the biggest room you have ready for me when I get back. Non Smoking. "
He pushed a button on it and it became full length. It would help him focus his power. He would destroy it to appease these soldiers. He put it over his knee and with a mighty move, he destroyed his staff without using magic. He had other things of magic but he would dispose of them later. He then walked a couple of blocks before sitting down. He hoped no one would be around to see him do this. He then removed his spell book. He began to turn the pages in it. "No. Too cliche.Too visible. Too annoying. Too power requiring. " He began to flip through another one of his spell books and then he growled in annoyiance. He then got up and put them away. He continued walking towards the bank. He stopped and walked into an alley. It was best if he do magic in private he realized and no one would look into an Alley to see what he was doing hopefully. He then opened a portal to his pocket dimension and this time walked in completely. He emptied his bag of all magical items including his broken staff which he could never fix on this planet. He then loaded it with gold bars and summoned 10 more bags and loaded them with gold and began a much slower walk to the bank laiden with 10 bags full of gold after he had closed his portal.
-
The bank accountant was surprised to see a person with a heap load of gold, even though this bank trades gold for money. "You want to trade your gold for money, sir?"
-
"Yes, and I also want to know who is in charge of the military here so I can have a chat with them. " He was scowling when he said this and undid all 10 of the bags from himself and put them within reach of the person. "I want these exchanged for money and an account opened. I don't have time to carry money and gold back and forth and back and forth and forth and back. In addition, you shall tell no one of our transaction. " It was obvious Gallaghar was angry about something and yet it would not be wise to probe for information as it might cause Gallaghar to blow off the handle and let loose his power decimating 30 city blocks to naught but rubble. He then said "Do you have anywhere with a sound proof Door I can close and that you won't look in?"
-
"I don't know who is in charge. I'm just a bank accountant. The only person I know is the president. I'm just an accountant, and there is no place here where you can have your privacy, Sorry. Gold is worth $1,215 dollars per ounce. Can't be a better time to turn in your gold."
-
He then handed over all the bags of gold. "There. I think this should make me very rich indeed. " -Enough to be rid of those soldiers once and for all too. - He thought to himself and then said to the accountant "How would you like me to come by tommorow with more?"
-
"Sure. Since you have 200 bars, each weighing 1,000 grams, and 1,000 grams are 32.1507 troy ounces, you have 6,430.14 troy ounces. Gold is worth $1,215 for every troy ounce, so you have $7,812,620.10. You sir have gained a lot of money. Do you have an account, sir?"
-
"No. I wish to open one. " said Gallaghar as he prepared himself. He then prepared. "Will you please open an account with part of the money and then put the rest in it? If there is anything I need to sign...."
-
"Here's a form," the accounted said, giving him a piece of paper. "You just need to sign the things in, and I'll make an account for you."
-
He then took out a pen and signed the contract and filled the things in. He then said to the person "Now that I am rich, can you give me an easier way to use my money? Perhaps a card of some sorts?"
-
"There is a debit card, and we need to take a picture of you so you can use your debit card."
-
"Alright. " He then waited for them to do the camera shot.
-
They took a picture of his face, then they made a debit card for him. "Here's your debit card, sir. Do you want to withdraw any money?"
-
"Not at the moment no. " He said. He then pocketed the debit card and walked towards the Rising Sun at the hotel again. He was now going to pay for a room for an undisclosed period of time. He would be stocking up on weapons and putting them in his pocket dimension so he could arm all his sages. He would need to arm them and also buy them vehicles which they could ride into battle. He then said to the accountant "I am going to pay you for a room. "
"I will also need meals delivered up to my room. I will be spending a lot of time in there. "
"As payment for your help.....does this Hotel need anything?"
-
"No. This hotel does not need anything." The accountant gave him a card, which asks for his name, and his signature. He ran the card across the scanner, and the transaction is granted. He also gave him another card, which goes to room 184. "This goes to room 184."
-
Sighing Gallaghar once more signed and then handed it back. He then walked to the elevator. "Now finally. " He then walked into his room and took the phone book. He then began to read it. "Got it. Someone to deal with those people so they can't get on my back anymore. Need to be able to practice magic when I choose so perhaps a Reality Distortion Field will work. "
He then groaned once more. His room was big, but not big enough for what he had in mind.
Bringing a lot of sages would indeed require more gold than he had availible in the bank. Arming them would also require a lot of money.
He then went and dug through the phone book till he found the Army Surplus Store. He dialed the number. He planned to have his sages storm the worlds owned by the ones who were warring.
-
(What Sages?)
-
(The ones in his huge pocket dimension)
He then ordered 300 rocket launchers, 5000 shot guns, 2000 artillery class assault rifles. He also ordered 5000 Jetpacks.
-
(No. This is Earth, not Gangland. A store wouldn't house that much weaponry. Be more realistic...)
-
He then walked out of his room after casting the Reality Displacement on himself. It would allow him to use magic without it being seen by most people specifically civillians. His best idea of a spell yet. He would go to the military and see if they had the kind of fire power he needed for his sages. He didn't want to totally rely on magic as he would get killed that way. He decided in order to live up to his father's legacy. He then walked to the elevator.
-
(The military would kill you...)
-
He then walked to a gunshop in the city. "Hmm. A rifle. Perhaps with my knowledge I can replicate it as many times as I need for my soldiers. Want them to have something other than their talents to rely on. "
-
(In reality it's complicated, but I'll make it short.)
"Which gun do you want?" the store owner asked.
-
He then looked at the guns and picked out about 15 of them. "Those. " He said putting them on the counter. He then handed his credit card to the person "Now swipe this, deduct whatever money is needed. " He prepared to take the guns and take them out once he got his card back.
-
The store owner gave Hawk a box to put them all in, as well as ammo, which comes free with it. (What type of guns are they?)
-
(5 pistols, 2 assault rifles, 2 shot guns and finally 6 Missile Launchers)
-
(Might want to be a little more specific, there's a pretty big variation between shotguns, missile launchers, and assault rifles. Besides, I highly, highly doubt you can buy a missile launcher from a gun shop.)
-
Once he had the equipment he needed he started running. He finally reached his destination.
Now he was at the hotel. He could teleport everything he needed to to the Sages who would multiply the weapon or at least try to build their own magic version of it for use in the war he had planned. The one that would put Hikaru in a difficult position to choose between surrendering her Phoenix Magic or death. The equipment he had bought consisted of 3 pistols, 2 assault rifles, a shot gun and at least 10 regular rifles.
-
Gallaghar decided it was time to leave. He then went down having packed his bags once more. He then said to the accountant. "I am leaving. Leave my room open for 5 days and then stop deducting from my account. I will be back soon. He then walked out into an Alley. "Time to blow this popstand. " He then teleported off world.
-
(Hawk, you did not specify for Nisorin. You can buy anything. In fact, you can actually buy a tank. Hawk, you need to be more realistic...)
-
(There. Specificed)
-
(You didn't.)
