Title: Spirit Ties
Post by: K2 on July 26, 2010, 08:24:45 PM
The Japaen Soldier appeared outside the very walls of the Outerverse, temporarily protected by a barrier around himself. He quickly began to tie his own spirit to the Outerverse walls, claiming ownership of it.

The Outerverse simply rejected the spirit, thinking it's a takeover. The last takeover happened too recently for the Outerverse to accept it, anyway.

But the spirit kept persisting, pushing towards the force of the Outerverse... But it wouldn't last for long. It needed great, powerful spirits to assist.

The Outerverse blocked it. The spirit is like a tennis ball hitting a brick wall. The Dimensional Energy started to rip the exposed Spirit Energy apart.

The spirit withdrew and waited for backup, cloaking itself where it was.

The Outerverse notified one Elite Keeper of the takeover attempt, as well as the person's location. Two Elite Keepers came, none of them owning the Outerverse, came. The shields are able to keep them safe from the Dimensional Energy for days if not weeks.

They detected the soldier, and came close do it, AM, AT, and AP fields on. The Dimensional Energy did suppress the fields, but due to their close distance, the fields were able to surround the soldier. The two Elite Keepers then opened fire, charging up their beams and firing at him. Plasma guns and secondary beams also shot at him.

But before they could get their fields up, a portal opened to the outerwalls of the Outerverse, and out of it came K2323 and the members of the Anrufe, who quickly protected the soldier from the Keeper beams by blocking it with their own collective barrier before expanding that AAM/protective-barrier around the Outerwall of the Outerverse. This barrier would keep everyone coming through the portal safe from Aralang fire and the dimensional radiation, and it would only get stronger if new arrivals used their help to strengthen the barrier.

The Anrufe members and K2323 then began to feed their spirit into the Outerverse, merging with it.

Isaac came out of the portal, and upon seeing the situation he quickly lent all his strength toward the protective field, waiting for the others to come through.

It's too late. The Outerverse had enough. Too many takeover attempts in a short amount of time. It's like a shutdown after many failed attempts in entering the correct password. The Outerverse simply denied it. Adding to that, the Elite Keeper in control of the Outerverse rejected feeding. The Dimensional Energy then started to rip the spirits apart.

The Saraton Energy beams attacked the barrier. Despite the Dimensional Energy's interference, the beams were very strong. The Elite Keepers then used their EST, to suck up the nearby Dimensional Energy. The Dimensional Energy was harmless as soon as it went into the EST. The Keepers used the energy to enhance their fields and their power. The Saraton Energy beams crew a lot stronger. Seeing that there's unlimited amount of Dimensional Energy around, the Elite Keepers can live in it forever, as the shields were replenished.

Nisorin, Celestie, Iroku and nearly two hundred Magis Corps mages arrived at the edges, Nisorin aboard the Blade Chord and extending the barrier a great deal, as well as forming it's own powerful AAM field. The titan, now resembling a grand dragon standing strong before the two SF Keepers, seems to stare them down as Iroku, already highly accustomed to spirit magic starts focusing entirely on tying himself to the Outerverse, while Celestie works to strengthen the barrier array, using every bit of power she's got.

With the new arrivals, the barrier continued to withstand to the strength of Aralang technologies. K2323 and the Anrufe continued to continue tying their spirit, reaching out to overpower the Outerverse while keeping their spirits and the spirits of all the others together. It was like the Outerverse couldn't deny the takeover. It was, after all, a TAKEOVER, it was being forced to change ownership, and its loyalties were changing. It had basically been grapsed by the spirit energies so put into it so far, with more on the way, and it thus couldn't fight back.

The Outerverse would naturally deny the takeover, but it's backed up by the owning Elite Keeper, that's resisting a takeover. So far it's technically an ATTEMPT of a takeover. Attempts may win, but they also may lose. As soon as the spirits penetrated the Outerverse, the Outerverse immediately began to tear apart the spirit energy. The two Elite Keepers kept at it at the barrier. They increased power to the EST, increasing it's efficiency. They ignored the rest.

Out of nowhere, an Elite Dreadnought arrived. It has already been charged. As soon as it came, it fired at the feeding spirits, incinerating them in a near-instant. It also began to use the EST, and pretty powerful, too. In fact, enough energy is fed to make the cannon constantly shoot.

Title: Re: Spirit Ties

But the Outerverse COULDN'T tear apart the spirit energy as it was holding a firm grasp on the Outerverse (as I stated in my last damn post) and the number of spirits and their strength was more than enough to over-power the Outerverse. The Dreadnought, meanwhile, met the power of the barrier, which was strong still in comparison to the two ships, as it was powered by so many spirits. The EST could not penetrate the barrier either. The fact was, the Aralangs couldn't win in this situation.

K2323 could feel something different as soon as he tapped into the Outerverse.. It was like energy was coming in and out of the Outerverse's core. How? He had no idea, but he put that thought aside for a moment. He quickly began to push out the AM energies in the Outerverse. The Anrufe joined in, succeeding in tapping into the Outerverse, working on creating a forced teleportation, but that teleportation wouldn't effect those OUTSIDE the Outerverse.

The Dark Heart goes straight to the battlefield, backing up the Relorian fleet. Hiro and Sara are the only Mercs that go to help those taking over the Outerverse, using their own Spirits and even those of Masamune and Malious to further increase the grip held on the Outerverse. Desmaldo, acting through Cero, used his own massive spiritual energies gained from devouring other spirits over the course of his existence to further increase their powerful hold over the Outerverse, restraining himself from attempting to forcefully devour their spirits from the connection. He'd do that later...But for now, he added his spiritual power to the other's, to increase their takeover of the Outerverse. The three weapons, and Desmaldo's host, focused their magic to further strengthen the barrier protecting them, reinforcing it greatly.

The Dark Heart sent a message to the fleet around it. "Punch a hole through their shields and other defenses, and we can open fire with our stronger weapons. We've got a few Archive weapons aboard this ship, as well as some Grunder tech." They then launched a Vulcan Satellite, programmed to attack the enemy fleet, and fired a few LANCER Missiles. The two Lance of Dawn weapons also began charging. "Twin Lance of Dawn Emitters, charging."

Ju and Avaron withdrew their spirits as did the ones loyal to them.

"We have to stop the spread of that AME energy. Half of us will go back to Zaned and shield it while the other half goes to Militaria to shield it."

K2323 nodded at their success, grabbing a hold of the spirit energies being poured into the Outerverse and tying them to his own energy so that his energy could be strong enough to permanently grab a hold of the Outerverse. He was using the other energies to battle the stress of the Outerverse, and they had a firm grasp still on the Outerverse. That gave K2323 the chance to slowly but surely become the owner of the Outerverse.

He yelled out to Ju and Avaron. "Put your energies back in, we're succeeding!"

((lol, I only brought one ship. It is a Titan though.))

Nisorin smiles as the dragon rears back, seeming to take a massive breath before lunging forward, neck extending to almost twice its normal length as a massive spear of hardened crystal fires out from its mouth, firing straight through the middle of the Dread's beam. The spear absorbed the energy, tentatively containing the volatile concoction of energies until the moment it smashes, hard, into the shield, the barely contained energy bursting out in a massive explosion that rocks the entire ship. Even as the spear left the dragon's mouth, the Blade Chord begins to shift, forming into a rather familiar figure: the Thirteenth Court Guardian. Standing resolute with his twin swords drawn, he points the tip at one of the Keepers before a barrier forms around it, cutting of the EST's effects as lightning begins to build up along the blade.

Meanwhile, Iroku's pact-spirit Koraiten finally comes through for him, bringing a small army of spirits, including one particularly rare and powerful spirit. A translucent wild Phoenix appears from the wall of the Outerverse, almost instantly charging the remaining Keeper, heedless of the disintegrating effect of the ship's shield. Since there's no matter to make up the Phoenix, there's nothing to disintegrate. Ripping at the barrier with its talons, it starts spreading about a sticky, translucent liquid-like energy about the shields before setting it aflame. The other spirits, a serpentine Dragon, massive Siberian wolf, and an odd creature looking to be the combination of a wolf, hawk and bear, covered in scales all work to overload the EST's. During all the commotion, Koraiten starts helping Iroku, doubling their efforts in their attack on the Outerverse, made all the more efficient by their affinity for spirit-based magic.

((EST. 4 posts for Iroku's completion of the attack))

Avaron had withdrew his energies only so he could not kill himself using them. Shifting the energy he was using to both Auv and Hura simultaneously he funneled that into the energy that was being used to shift ownership of the outerverse.

“I can no longer send Spirit Energy to help you but I can do this much at least.” The ones with him pooled their magic into the energy allowing it to become even more powerful. They had been taught how to do some Auv and pooled that as well, but not their spirits.

Perridas stopped. "I can't do this anymore. I have to bring us reinforcements."

The spear became incinerated as soon as it came in contact with the Seraton Energy. Absorbing the energy would result in getting destroyed from the inside. Either way, the spear quickly became destroyed.

The Elite Keepers' shields held up, as the energy sucked by the EST reinforced it. This also applied to the LANCER missiles. Speaking of EST's, they all turned their EST's towards the barrier, sucking it up, easily. As the Spirit Energy is exposed, they sucked up the Spirit Energy. The ones that are already in the Outerverse weakened from the lack of reinforcements, and eventually got ripped apart.

The EST sucked up the barrier that tried to block its effects.

The overloading attempt failed, as the energy has been sent to the shields, which really demanded more energy to stay up, which is where the energy went. It's far away from being overloaded.

Just because it has no matter, it doesn't mean it's not affected by the shields. In this case, the phoenix became quickly disintegrated.

So far, the Outerverse didn't switch ownership. Not yet anyway. As long as the ownership is the Elite Keeper's the Outerverse can still resist, and that's what it did. It couldn't tear apart the energy in time, so it did another thing: blocking the Spirit Energy. The entire Outerverse is putting everything it has got to block this. This slowed the SE down, giving the Outerverse time to rip it, tear it, incinerate it, whatever is easiest to get rid of the SE. When the reinforcing SE is no more, it closed the gap, that was torn open from the penetration.

OOC: Everyone hold up till Orph gets back.

K2323 quickly withdrew all of his spirit energy, creating another barrier over the group to hold the EST over for quite awhile (several posts, really). His withdrawing of spirit energy resulted in the withdraw of the energies of all others. He yelled to everyone present, "Forget spirit energy! Give me your magic! We'll overpower the elite's signature from here! And help power this new barrier!"

And with that, he began to pour his magic, Genesis Magic included, into the Outerverse, to over-ride the elite. He waited for the others to give him their energies.

The spear does, indeed, last long enough to barrel into the Dread's shields, considering the fact it was spit out of the mouth of a PLANET SIZED DRAGON and thus was, originally, about the same size as the Dreadnought. The initial impact and the massive explosion together are plenty enough to bring its shield down to half its previous level, placing a massive strain on the EST as the dragon starts readying a rather large EMP in one hand, opening up a tiny, one way portal with the other. A Relorian comes out, staying out less than a second before teleporting back.

Since energy can't be disintegrated, as there's nothing to disintegrate, the Phoenix is unharmed by the shield as it burns, providing quite the strain for the generator as it starts to overheat from the abnormally hot flaming napalm.

Moments after the Relorian teleported away, five new ships arrive through one-way portals, Lisael types taking the forms of the Archer, Guardian, Life, Orion and Hammer. Almost as soon as they get through, the portals close and they spring into action. The Archer begins analyzing the Seraton energy beams with the help of Life, while the Guardian takes up position between the Keepers and the invading mages, twin tower shields at the ready to defend against the assaulting beams. Orion begins funneling large amounts of energy into the Keeper with the least amount of things attacking it, overloading the EST rather quickly even as the Hammer starts spewing out thousands of Relor fighters, currently shaped like triple-crescents meeting in the center, firing lasers out from each of the six points.

Iroku ignored K2323's yells, closing his eyes in concentration as he moves into a meditative position, the bottoms of his feet together, knees wide out to the sides and hands clasped in a double-fist with every other finger, matching up, points outwards. He starts using his own magic as a sort of catalyst for his spirit energy, creating a much more powerful response as his own abilities start to override the Keeper's signature, who have zero experience in dealing with such an assault, and won't be able to defend themselves as well as they would be able to had they not forsaken magic as they had.

The Elite Dreadnought and the Elite Keepers left, without having any critical damage. The EST helped them charge up and leave quickly. Moments later, one Elite Keeper came. In everyone's head, a voice said, "Alright. Let's make this quick. Who wants to have the Outerverse?"

Before any of the other sages had a chance to reply Avaron had replied. “I will take the outerverse.” He needed the outerverse since it was technology free that meant it could be the base of the Sages. It was best if he owned it anyway and he would trade it to the Archive for the Realm of Existence after he had read all the books on magic that were here. “I will take it.” replied Avaron boldly to the voice that had just gotten inside of his mind.

Iroku and Koraiten together teleport into the Outerverse, standing tall and large before the Aralang. "Outerverse place of strong spirit. Need person who kindred of spirits. Me or Koraiten best choice for Outerverse health, K2323 close second." He says, the symbiote regressing to form an armored loincloth as he points at the Japae man. "He know little of spirits. Little benefit to Outerverse health." He adds, his mind filled with thoughts only of the Outerverse an its well-being, rather than thoughts of greed, as Avaron's is.

K2323 didn't understand... They were just letting it go!? He sighed... Had... Had Hikaru been captured!? He shook off the thought. "If my theories are right," K2323 called out, withdrawing his magic from the Outerverse and yelling up to whoever could hear him as well as sending a message to everyone telepathically, "The Outerverse can sustain itself well enough! It's a.. a holy land! And the land of my sister! But I really don't care who it goes to, between the Relorians and me!"

Avaron knew that he had lost. At least the Anrufe would not be gaining control of the Outerverse, not today at least. He used a telepathic spell and said mentally to the Aralangs. “I withdraw my claim to the outerverse. But you shall NOT under any circumstances hand it over to the Anrufe or I will kill you all.” The anrufe were dangerous enough without controlling the OV and he did not want them gaining any more power at their disposal than they currently had. “And if you think I am bluffing Aralangs you are sadly mistaken.” He added sending images of gruesome horrors that would befall not just the SF but Aralia and Kalak if the Anrufe got hold of the Outerverse. Why must the Anrufe keep expanding their power base? The outerverse would never be claimed by them determined Avaron as he subtly sent some of his Auv, Hura and Magic to mix with that of the OV to make his signature exist in it.

The Outerverse released the signature from the Elite Keeper to Koraiten. It ignored Avaron's remarks. "It's done. Before we gave the Outerverse away, we reversed our process in the other dimension, so it should be normal now. The reason why we're doing this is because Hikaru Tyris turned herself in. In exchange, she demanded to have the dimension go back to normal and to have us surrender the Outerverse. That is all." The Elite Keeper left.

Avaron immediately realized the futility of his threat. At least the Anrufe had not received control of the Outerverse and never would. He focused and pulled Perridas and the others loyal to him over to where he was. “And now we get back to work.” All of them left using different spells while Avaron himself used Hura and Shadow Travel to get out of the OV.

Iroku plops right down on the ground, sighing and glaring at the rip in dimensions. "Outerverse hurt, stitched together with Teck dimensun. Not good, not good. Outerverse should eat Teck dimensun." He muses, lying down and staring up into the sky. He closes his eyes and calls out to the Outerverse, smiling softly as he feels Irrelai lay half atop him, hand in hand.

"The Outerverse is in good hands, Iroku." She says, smiling up at him as she settles into his chest. "It could use some life, it must get lonely sometimes."

Meanwhile, Celestie creates a large, shining table for the foods and drinks to sit on, grabbing a bottle of Relorian soda and sitting beside her husband. "I can feel Hikaru's signature still, though it's real real faint. Either she's real weak, or real far away."

"She'll be fine. The Aralangs, despite their many failings, are much better than these absurd ASF people." He replies, smiling softly at her as he pulls her into his lap. "Your match will probably start soon."

"Yeah, but I'd rather stay here a bit longer. That tournament's a pain, and we're probably going to get jipped by Lucifer anyway."

Sort of, she's on a sort of planet-arrest, bound to the planet Aralia with very few exceptions, but free to roam that planet at will... And.... The war. It's still on, she says. In two hundred years time, we will destroy the Aralangs."

I'm afraid the war will be quite... boring if we don't improve their skill-level," K2323 proposed, laughing at his mad idea to help the enemy to make the war more fun.

Isaac stopped his dance with the mariachi band and casually walked over to where K2 and the other were sitting.
"It hardly matters now, though. When Hikaru is free, we a able to destroy the Aralangs, unless of course they develop more and more. For all we know, they could develop technologies that they couldn't even dream of now. We must train harder to overcome the continual threat of their existence."

"Yes, yes! Training is necessary! Personally, I think I know just the place to train, but.. It will be rigorous, I don't even know if I can survive the intense training I plan to undergo," K2323 explained, shuddering at his thoughts.

Isaac looked at him sternly. "Brother, killing yourself by over training isn't going to help anybody, certainly not Hikaru, and it certainly won't help us defeat this 'virus' you are afraid of. You need to relax a bit. Just a bit. You seem... very stressed. With good reason, but still."

K2323 turned sharply to Isaac. "Brother, you know not how you speak! I am one of the foremost strongest sages in the universe! One of the Sage Three! I gained my strength through intense training."

Isaac nodded ignoringK2's nervous state. "I know who you are ad I respect you greatly for that, but my opinions stilll stand. But either way, I will still help you, no matter the cost. "

"And with that, I must be off, brothers. Off to train in the Era Village, removed from time itself."

K2323 stood up and created a portal to the Era Village, walking through it.
