First off, I'm pretty disappointed that this all went down, and that it went down on the site. Second, I want a taco.

Yeah, I may not like Orph particularly, but this shouldn't of happened.

And I think the Archive should be NPC's and nobody should get them.

Orph and I had big plans for The Archive.

No, that does not include blowing up dimensions.

Well, you can still go through with said plans...

He'll be back.

But until then, the matter of his possessions...

I don't mean for a long time.. he'll be back soon. THEY ALWAYS COME BACK.

His possessions are mine, though the AC can go to Ino I guess.

I have thought of Hikaru and K2 being the best two to have the Archive, but it's already solved. Anyway, this will cause changes IC and OOC, regardless of how long he's out.

And for the moment he has quit with a group of powerful characters and lots of tech.
So I say until he comes back, if he does at all, his stuff should be turned into NPC's

It is up to him on where his stuff goes, and he's already decided. If he comes back, I will gladly give him back his stuff.

He left, he shouldn't have any say in the matter. He did quit.

He still has a say. He quit but his stuff goes to whoever he wants it to go to, same goes for any of us. It IS his stuff, after all, in that he made it up.

.....What the hell have I missed?

Orph quit, at least temporarily.
The thing is his stuff is pretty powerful, and if he came back we could just hand over his stuff. Like normal, but I say that we should have his stuff be NPC's.

His stuff is powerful, that doesn't mean it should be NPC'd.

Still... I would prefer it that it goes NPC'ed at least for a while, I mean you can NPC them, but for a while at least, it should be NPC'ed.

I understand your concern but that wouldn't really work in this case.

It's like a will. If he wanted to give ownership of his stuff to someone else, he should have that right.

Exactly.

Post by: Beware Ye Who Enter Here on July 29, 2010, 10:50:21 PM
and the will is negated if the person isn't actually dead and comes back, but I still would prefer them to be NPC's for a while at least....

Why do you want these to be NPC so bad?

Call it an urge if you will. It is what I think is best. I dislike most of his characters due to the godmod  potential they have... I know you probably wouldn't use them badly but still ... I pretty sure Hiro would agree with me on this one...

How do you know?

Judging from the way he was talking, he won't be. He's found something else to occupy his time. Maybe in a few months he might consider it, but you never know. For right now, despite the godmoding potential of his characters, I'll be controlling them.

Yeah, yeah.... I'm not worried about you doing stuff so much as what could happen.... I just don't like the characters to begin with. And what about the character limit though? You both have to have at least 16 characters combined...

The staff decided early on to take that rule on a case-by-case basis.

I have personally spoken with Orpheus. He will not be returning to the board. His stuff will be dealt with, and I will personally be watching what is happening with Orph's old stuff as closely as I can.

I said the same thing, and I came back.
He'll be back. Mark my words.

We've already discussed his position on staff, and your point has been seen but respectfully, we aren't going to follow that route.

But what has that discussion ended with?

Nisorin's announcement should clear that up.
