Title: Arena (Hik versus me. )
Post by: Zero on August 02, 2010, 05:16:45 PM
The Arena of Destiny. A place where many had gone to battle and had died. Today Tremor was the opponent of one of the sage three, a phoenix known as Hikaru. However he was doing this to prove that Griffins did stand a chance against Phoenixes.

Hikaru appeared into the arena looking a tad bit annoyed, though since she always looked annoyed, you could be pretty sure this was more than her usual neutral frown.  Standing to her side, she glanced left and then right, observing what little crowd they had. A few betters, mortals, at most. That was all? She was one of the Sage Three, dammit! Where's the loyalty? No matter.

Fixing her gaze on Tremor, she smirked. Once she beat this fool, there would be plenty of fans. "So... a Griffin, is it? I remember your kind. The sages of the weak type. That's very unfortunate of you. But, very well, lets begin your funeral shall we?" She bowed, ever so slightly, just enough to tilt her head a bit. That's all the respect this guy really deserved.

Tremor surveyed Hikaru. Well since she was being disrespectful he would also be disrespectful. Looking at Hikaru he merely spit at her.

“Pathetic. Here I thought the sage three were honorable but what I learned is that they aren't.” At that he used his photokensis to make thousands of construct shruikens which all went flying at Hikaru, impervious to most forms of fire.

To follow that up dark shadow things came out of the ground through portals and began to march towards Hikaru breathing green lightning and energy beams from their mouths.

But, Hikaru merely disappeared, magical signature suppressed and all.

From all around Tremor the ground began to rumble, shaking up and down in a turbulent manner. Then from the ground, a fire began to spread, but not just any fire, the fire seemed to be the ground its self, as the whole arena began to spark and become ignited. This fire was both hot and solid at the same time, and began to spread up the legs of Tremor, and the arena stands, everything it touched, burning. But it did not melt, instead it solidified. If Tremor didn't do something, he would soon be solid stone. Stone Fire.

Stone fire huh? He had heard of it but rarely seen it used and so he evaded the attack of the stone fire by using darkness to tear it off of his body. Not sensing Hikaru's presence though he held out his fist and used his umbrakensis to fill the area with darkness that would eat away at her.

He took out an anime video and mentally recorded the episodes and then decided what he would do with the current problem.

“Well now time to take you out.” He held out his hand and spires of light rose out of the ground. Once these were in the air they would disable most threats.

But poor little Tremor didn't take into account that Hikaru wasn't just invisible. In fact, whoever said that's what she was? Nope, she had teleported, yes. And she was unable to be seen. But invisible? Nope.

From out of Tremor's body, smoke began to gush out, the normal kind, and he began to catch on fire, from the inside out. To the onlookers? Tremor had spontaneously combusted and had very little time to save himself.

Oh where could Hikaru be?

He quickly used magic to stop the burning of himself and the smoke and to heal himself up. Immediately following that he activated the spires which would make concealed things become visible and known. He unleashed 6 Photokensis construct foot ball players to attack Hikaru as well.

But Tremor caught on fire again. This time it burned him more severely, an uproar of golden fire that began to burn his very flesh and cause his blood to boy.

Then something began to happen, and Tremor exploded, a  full grown Phoenix, around eagle-size bursting out of his chest cavity with his soul in talons, which it then promptly swallowed. Blood, guts, and fire being all that was left of Tremor's upper body. A mixture of teleporting, signature suppression, shapeshifting, size change, fire, spells.

Game Over.
