It took quite a while before the chatter died down following the arrival of Koty and his sons, who had withdrawn from the tournament. A referee finally announced the withdraw and announced that Round 2's matches would be rearranged. One contestant, Hikaru, would automatically advance due to her place on the tournament lineup. That meant one more match would take place before Round 3 of the tournament began...
Celestie vs Keith.
Both contestants were called to the tournament floor.
-
A single Chaos Warp appeared, and out from the menecing red glow came a armored hand of Keith, who seemed to be pulling his way out of the chaotic pocket dimension. He was wearing his more...Chaotic armor, as it seemed, gnarled horns jutting out from it's shoulders and its demonic-skull helmet's eyes glowing red. And so...There he stood, waiting for his opponent, quite hungry by now.
In fact, he thought he might just eat his foe, whoever it was.
-
She steps out into the Arena, wearing her ornate armored dress with twin swords sheathed at her hips. Facing her opponent, she bows a bit, before introducing herself. "Celestie Lertis, Empress of Reloria."
-
Keith just leaned against...Nothing, it seemed, but it was apparently a solid nothing, and said,"Heh hah, name's Keith. Im...Uh...Well, I guess Im a incarnation of Chaos."
At that, he immediately seemed to melt into the ground, turning into a glowing red energy, that spread along the floor of the arena, and under her as well. But she wouldn't have felt it...It was as if he'd merged with the floor of the arena. And then, massive spikes of raw chaos energy jutted from the ground beneath her, after which the chaos floor pulled itself off and reformed Keith. "Wow, thats tiring..."He mumbled, before turning his right arm from the forearm down into a zweihander and aiming it at his foe. "En Garde."
-
The moment he disappears, she teleports into the air, forming a skin-tight barrier around herself to help protect from attack as she draws her swords. "At least you have more manners than the last person we fought." She says, smiling at the man as she hovers in the air.
-
"We? Iunno who the other one is, ya look alone to me. And dont say that yet, heh, I ain't afraid a' hitting girls!" He said with a bit of laughter, leaping into the air straight at her with unnatural force in a attempt to stab her with his blade-arm. After that, if it failed, he would grab hold of her and move so that he'd be on her back, and would push with that same unnatural force, kicking her straight into the ground, and then would cause the energy making him up to rapidly become denser, making him heavier and allowing him to fall faster so that he could slice his foe with extreme force.
-
She merely teleports away, making sure to hit his blade thing with her sword before poofing away. "Oh, that would be rude really. Refusing to fight me simply because I'm a woman? How foolish an idea." She replies, smiling as she tosses a simple fireball at Keith.
-
Being made completely of Chaos Energy, fire holds no effect on him, as since fire is only a violent chemical reaction involving the bonding of certain nonmetal elements with other elements(the most common of which on terran-type worlds being oxygen), so he hardly reacts to the fireball. Since he doesn't have any elements in his composition, it, by its nature, cannot effect him, being a simple fireball.
And with that, he smashed against the ground, before four draconic wings sprouted from him, two on his back, and the other two on his arms. His arm shifted from a blade to a crossbow, and then his entire body change as well, using the crossbow as a template to turn himself into a balistae, except it seemed to have a few 'human' parts, like a few bones making up the framework, and at where the bolts are loaded, the seemed to be generated from his new 'body'. It aimed for her with pinpoint accuracy, and fired the first bolt. Surprisingly, it had little force behind it, but if a single bolt hit, the residual chaos energy on it would pass onto her...Eating away at her sanity, driving her toward a more primal mindset, physically the same, but mentally a animalistic set of instincts. As that was Chaos, and was what Keith was. Except...sorta not totally instinct, but mostly anyways.
-
The fireball explodes once it hits Keith, obscuring his eyesight with the explosion and smoke. Celestie uses this opportunity to start forming something of Diviae origin, certainly not her specialty. Forming over her right-hand sword like a sheath, she twirls on the toes of one foot before thrusting her sword in Keith's general direction, firing the bolt of purified energy at him.
-
The balistae form of Keith then morphed into a massive, chaotic shield. Upon being hit by the bolt, however, it appeared the shield shattered...Before the shards burst into a hail of needles that went everywhere, yes everywhere, imbued with the same chaos that the previous bolt had been. Keith then rose from the ground, having been apparently hiding in the shadow of the shield-form before he decided to show himself, and, with the needle rain still coming down on them both, he turned his right arm into a lance which he then stabbed in Celestie's direction, which kept growing and growing until it'd hit something. Celestie in particular being the target. Furthermore, the needle rain seemed to have no effect upon Keith, being absorbed into his body instead of driving him mad-well, then again, you could say he already was somewhat mad, but you get the idea, they had no effect on him, being made from the same chaotic energy as he was.
-
She smiles as the needles start to rain, pulling them into an orb before her. "You control the chaos, give it order, form. I would release you from this occupation, give you freedom from the very forces you subjugate, and in turn, free myself from the bonds of this body of mine. So come at me, Shaper of Chaos, with all you have, or you shall see both out freedoms fall to nothing." She says, smiling as a sort of oily sheen forms over the ball of chaotic energy, coating it and seeping inside, seeming to feed off of it as she sidesteps the lance, placing an open hand just a quarter inch from it. A bright flash, and a seal forms on the lance's surface, shining bright in the dim Hell atmospheric light, causing the lance to crack and splinter, eventually falling apart and misting down to pile upon the floor like sawdust.
"Simple lances will not help. You'll have to be more creative than that."
-
Her words confused him. Free him? But...He wasn't imprisoned...Was he? And yet...The instincts his mind was basically made of said she might be telling the truth. "What...? Free me from what...? I am Chaos personified...Yet something dares to imprison me!?" He said, before noticing the seal. He was so caught up in those thoughts that he failed to notice her actions. And when the lance started to break, he felt a odd sensation. It wasn't something he normally felt...And his instincts were telling him he didn't like it. What is this feeling? It was intense at the time, and he felt he couldn't stand it. It was...Pain, something he shouldn't be able to fell(having no nerves), at least except that considering things he probably shouldn't be able to think, being pure Chaos, so that balances out. And, seeing as this was intense pain from his arm being ripped apart, not to mention this being practically the first time he's felt pain, he yelled in agony...Though it came out as more of a feral roar than a scream of pain. Instead of bearing the pain, before the seal's effects could make it back to the main body, he tore off the arm being dismantled. Which, to him, felt like nothing, because his instincts understood that was the best action to take, and that it'd be simpe to make a new arm. The stump had no blood come from it, merely a sinister red...No one, no skeletal structure, no flesh even...And the red flowed like a liquid, back into the general shape of his arm, before making out the more subtle features and intricate designs and taking on the colors, and then solidifying. And then...His shadow spread out. He was spreading his Chaos around...And suddenly, blades came from the ground. But not to attack Celestie...Rather, to create a protective barricade around Keith. A wave of pure Chaos washes toward Celestie, ready to destroy her mind, but it stops and retreats. "...Tell me...What you meant...I...Must know what you mean...That something is trying to imprison me..."
-
"You imprison yourself." She answers, smiling almost longingly at the wave of energy. "You, who are made of chaos itself, imprison yourself within a form, forcing yourself to live inside a prison of your own design. You limit yourself to the perception of only a single body, a single angle of a single place." She says, her skin and armor seeming to shimmer as strange, old-looking runes and symbols begin to swim within the crystal.
And so it begins, meus Norriensar, and should be an interesting experience, at the least. She muses, the thought passing through their link to Nisorin, even as she raises both arms, hands reaching out as if to touch the chaos wave, but cannot reach far enough. "You yourself are sealed, imprisoned within your own mind just as I am imprisoned within this false body." She explains further, smiling through the blades at the man.
((Post one of five.))
-
"You mean to say that life itself is a prison? That...I cannot agree with." He merely says, before he draws the orb of Chaos she had made earlier before it hesitates. Something was wrong...Different. He forces the Chaos energy to compress so much it takes on a form similar to a solid, before shooting it away as if it were a bullet. The blades then retract into his shadow, slowly and as if being forced down, and then his shadow went back to him. His form revealed to have changed to his other armor, a skintight armoring with intricate designs all along it. "Hmph...Merely lances wont be any use, you said?" His shadow, now a sphere around him, and actually a thin extension of his body, seemed to pulsate as he caused the levels of Chaos to rise within the area taken by his shadow. It seemed the boundries of his shadow were the boundries of a semispherical zone of Chaos-in fact, it was. Chaos Warps began to open all within the area, Chaos pouring out, and the area spread, further and further, Keith the epicenter of the Chaos. As it spread, the shadow turned red, going from a dark blood red to a bright, glowing crimson. And then...It reached her, the Chaos beginning to invade her mind.
-
She smiles as her barrier shimmers before exploding into brilliant color as the chaos energy hits it. "Life is not the prison, no, but your form is. You, with one single consciousness residing within one single body, so limited in perception and belief. Even your understanding of your own power and how it can be used is limited." She counters, the barrier absorbing the chaos energy and converting it, hardening the barrier into a sort of cocoon, its inner walls shielding her from the corruptive effects. Her voice echoes sourcelessly throughout the arena, sounding slightly muffled. "Simply trying to stab me with a lance, or tossing out waves of unrefined, untamed energy wouldn't be enough to take out even a seasoned sage of average power."
-
"Refine? Tame? Such words are a insult to Chaos! Chaos does as it chooses...And trying to force its change is both meaningless and useless." He growled, intensifying the Chaos field, but also having it shrink in. "And how, per say, is one supposed to change that? I may make newer bodies, but I'd assume thats not what you'd mean." He then made the Chaos form a large, red orb, which seemed to be in synch with his own chaotic field, bursts of Chaos in the form of red bolts moving freely to and fro. This orb was used to amplify Keith's own abilities, which he used to cause the gravity inside the cocoon to intensify toward the center, which would make it collapse in on itself.
A bolt of Chaos energy also rained upon her, not to attack her mind, but to deliver damage like any bolt of lightning would. The only real difference was that this was (probably) non-lethal, and the color red. A slight plan was forming in Keith's mind...One he'd use soon enough.
-
She laughs, the cocoon's exterior barrier absorbing the bolt of chaos, converting it and using the energy from it to form new barriers underneath it, beginning the second stage of the process, actual physical alterations. The gravity swell only seemed to aid the change, helping to compress the cocoon's contents before the seals inside react, sealing off the spell. "You ARE chaos! If you choose to refine a bit of chaotic energy, then that's your choice now isn't it?"
-
"Hmph...Wouldn't expect a mortal to understand..." He mumbled, before he started draining the Chaos energy from the cocoon. Instead of attack it head on...Why not starve it? It was obviously feeding on Chaos, so just cut off its supply, and there you have it. "I am, as you said, the Shaper of Chaos. But merely one collection of Chaos does not equal the will of all Chaos. The energy responds to me, and reacts to my desires, yes, but only in form. I would not ask of Chaos to become Order...That, is simply a horrid thing to do. And if you do not understand that...I cannot explain it further."
-
She laughs once again, the cocoon's membrane vibrating as he takes what little energy hasn't been converted yet. While a good strategy for a large group, trying to starve your opponent in a one-on-one duel such as this is too time-consuming a tactic to possibly be effective. That, and in order to effectively starve an organism, one must know all of what it feeds upon. Its main source of energy gone, the cocoon's glow subsides, using that energy instead to fuel the metamorphosis, even as it begins sucking in the nearby atmosphere, pulling any and all energy it can get from it before expelling it, the usual properties of Hell's atmosphere stripped from it. "Energy without a purpose can do nothing productive. By merely existing, Keith, you give Order to the Chaos. I would say untamed energy will eventually overpower and consume you, but I see it already has." Her voice once again echoes, now tinted with a sort of otherworldly ring. "It would seem that you are no longer a creature capable of being reasoned with, of having things explained to you. Doomed to be such a simpleton, I pity you, and shall end your misery."
((Post 4, next post is the hatching.))
-
"While I probably could do those things, I ain't got a clue how! I operate on instinct, the product of Chaos. I dont dare ask the Chaos to become Ordered...Merely because I cannot figure out how to completely control it. So, I just dont usually dwell on it much. Im used to the way I do things, and try as I might, some things just dont work..." He said, moving back from the cocoon. Something was going to happen, his instincts were screaming it, he just didn't know what. So, his instincts told him one of two things to do:Run, or Attack it head on. Fight or Flight. But he hesitated, dwelling on what she said. "Hmph...I think I might just get it now...The first step...Might be to just ignore a few of my instincts." He mumbled, and gathered all the Chaos, hardened it into a shield, and braced for the attack.
-
She smiles inside the cocoon, the air inside starting to swirl fast enough to distort the hard-shelled cocoon. Small pieces of Curicite fall from a tear in the underside of the cocoon, falling to the ground to smash noisily, their strength stolen from them. The swirling air erupts from the shell like blades, shredding it as they converge upon Keith, to reveal the new Celestie Lertis. Falling to the ground, she stretches as she stands up straight, totalling ten feet and six inches tall as her dual-jointed legs start pulling in the remainder of the fallen curicite, using it to finish the red crystal forming a sort of armor made from tiny scales on her legs, arms and shoulders. She stretches her arms over her head, the elbows popping as they fall completely into place. Her long black hair now extends halfway down her midsection, nearly five feet long, in braid-like appendages covered in tiny crystal scales. "That feels so much better. I must admit, I feel the need to thank you, Keith." She says, her new, inhumanely bright blue eyes staring him down. She extends one, six-fingered hand towards him, a small ball of energy forming in her other hand as her foot starts to tap to an unheard beat. Without warning, she spins on a toe, launching the tightly-packed ball at his shield, a single rune shining inside it as she unfurls her wings, the curicite-webbing and scales glinting like diamonds in the light. She spins once again, on the other foot this time, as she keeps to the beat, picking a rock up with her foot and slinging that at the shield as well.
Her scale-braids fly through the air as she turns a third time, placing her to Keith's left as she forms two tiny double-bladed scythes, one in each hand. The shafts just barely large enough to extend past her four thumbs, she starts twirling them in her hands, causing an interesting blurr effect. "How shall I thank you?"
-
"Hmph...How's this-When this tournament is over, you'll stop with yer high and mighty talk, and actually decide to teach me how to do half 'a those things, eh?" He said with a smile of his own, before causing the shield to drop, and causing his fingers to become bladed. His eyes, glowing red, met her blue ones. "Blue, huh..." He mumbled, before leaping backword, onto the wall of the arena, and high into the air. "Chaos...Will triumph over all. That, I am sure. But...Perhaps you are right...There might be room for Order within the ways of Chaos." He said, in the air, causing blades of Chaos to rain from above her.
From her side, another Keith appeared, connected by shadows to the other. This one, with a chaotic axe and blade for arms, hacked and slashed in her direction, as a distraction, but not direct attack.
And behind her, yet another attack came...A Chaos Warp appeared, and from it, came boulders, charged with the Chaos of the Warp.
-
She laughs as she redirects the original orb to hit the shadow. Erupting in a shower of light, the shadow snaps, breaking apart the clone even as she twirled again, now facing the warp and its boulders. "As you are now, a single seal could spell your death." She says, extending her six fingers and whispering soft words. With each word, a finger draws a symbol into the air, the completed symbols seeking out the nearest boulders and sealing them, trapping the chaos and refining it, before taking control of the boulder's flight. Half of the boulders fly at the now unprotected Keith, while the other half merge together over Celestie's head, forming a stone wall laced with a mix of chaos and order, two dichotomies working together and forming a neutrality. To continue protecting herself from the blades, she merely has to keep fueling the wall with enough Order to negate the chaos. She now turns to face Keith, blue eyes shining as she once again unfurls her wings.
"As long as there is any sort of order, or a pattern of any kind, Chaos will not fully triumph. Those who will not embrace both sides are those who will fall." She says, smiling at the Shaper as her wings start to glow a soft blue. With a powerful gust of wind created by the beating of her wings, a hail of Curicite needles engraved with sealing glyphs soars at him, just behind the boulders.
-
The real Keith being the one up high, he used Chaos to counteract the Order in the needles, preventing even one from reaching him. The Chaos Warp had already closed, and Keith could feel that the area had lost much of the Chaos, becoming too neutral for him. So, staying in the air, he forcibly opened two Chaos Warps to allow more of the Chaos to enter the arena and help revitalize him.
His first instinct was to send it all at her, overwhelm her with Chaos, the second being to run through a Warp and flee. Again, for the second time in his existance, the first being when she began to emerge from the cocoon, he disobeyed his instincts, and instead thought of something to do. Head on attack would just result in her canceling the Chaos out, canceling HIM out. Fleeing would mean a loss in the tournament, and he wouldn't disgrace the name of Chaos anyhow. A slight pain rippled across his form, as he realized the Chaos was attempting to force him to follow his instincts. He didn't listen...Instead, he kept a fair distance between them, as the pain grew and visible effects of the Chaos upon him trying to force his actions manifested into arcs of red lightning. He felt something at the corner of his mind...But couldn't place it. It felt like...A old memory, that was just resurfacing...And slowly, but certainly, the design on his own armor began to shift...
Turning his arm into a bow, using the Chaos provided by the Warps(which had, by the way, closed again) to provide arrows to fire upon her, made only of Chaos. Not a true attack, but rather a keep-away tactic. He kept far from her, never allowing her to close the distance, and kept preventing the order from reaching him.
(1/4 to Keith being able to access some of his locked Metamemories)
-
((What's a metamemory?))
The boulders she'd neutralized and redirected get peppered by the arrows. The refined chaos inside the boulders hits the unrefined chaos in the arrows, causing a chain reaction, bursting apart the boulders and creating stone shrapnel flying at Keith, followed behind by the still-soaring curicite needles, albeit without their seals. Because he never did anything about the needles themselves, they pierce into him, painfully, as Celestie smiles.
"So worried about my seals that you don't recognize an attack hidden inside another." She says, smiling up at the man as she coats her hands in sealed barriers. Quite literally grabbing each arrow he shoots at her directly, she shakes her head as she looks at him. "Just as Chaos will not win as long as there is the tiniest bit of Order left, neither with Order win if there is the tiniest bit of Chaos left. But without the other, the universe cannot survive." She says, even as engravings spread about the caught arrows.
-
OOC:Metamemory is the memory about a memory. For example, lets say you dont have the metamemory of going to McDonalds. You know you went to McDonalds-You just dont know you know you went there. Confusing, aye? Anyways, its in his application, and its why he cant use his stronger attacks, he knows them, but doesn't know he knows them. So...Because his metamemory is surfacing, he'll realize again that he knows how to use a few more abilities. Which one Im planning on, though, I wont say. ;D
The needles did almost nothing to him, even though they hit. It was as if he hadn't even felt them. In fact, he didn't feel them. Without nerves, much less any other part of normal biological organisms, he cannot normally feel pain. He only does when the Chaos wants him to..."Hmph. That was annoying..." He said, pulling them out, but keeping them. They might be useful later. He then saw the boulder, and said,"You'll need to do better than that..." as he simply hardened some of the Chaos into a barrier to block the shrapnel. While doing so, he kept moving. He saw that the arrows weren't doing much, but his concentration was being taken by that nagging feeling in his mind, and the pain from the Chaos. THAT pain, he could feel, and it was growing. He simply kept moving without throwing more arrows at her.
The arrows themselves, however, these seemed the be rejecting...Whatever it was she was doing. As the symbols appeared, red bolts came from the arrows, purely at random, before they started to dissipate. As they did so, the Chaos within them caused more red bolts to go off, again randomly. At least a few would go for her, but considering things, she'd probably block this anyways.
-
((Ooooooh ok. And I think you meant the bolts dissipating, rather than the arrows themselves, right?))
Due to her seal-barrier 'gloves' the bolts angled towards her would already get blocked and either sealed outright or deflected, while the rest would arc outwards uselessly. She smiles at Keith, now noticing he's not doing anything offensive. "You're starting to understand, I see. You are a Shaper, that much is obvious. But you let the Chaos control you just as much as you control it. If you want to be a powerful Shaper, you have to command that which you shape, and not be commanded by it." She says, keeping her left side facing Keith as she holds the arrows out before her.
"If you wish to command something, to use it in battle, you must command it. Tame it. Show it who its master is, be that Chaos, or your own body and mind." She adds, forming a seal-barrier around each arrow and holding them out to him, making him watch as they turn to something neutral as well. She raises her other hand towards the sky, 'grabbing' hold of her wall and compressing it into a small canon-ball sized sphere of formed from the compressed stone, still charged with the mostly-neutral combination of Chaos and a bit too much Order. She smiles at him, taking the energy left from his arrows and forming a sort of cannon barrel around the ball.
-
OOC:No, the arrows were rejecting whatever it was she did, and started to break up because of it. The bolts were the by-product of the release of energy from it.
He continued moving, but more so that she couldn't aim as accurately at him than because of any strategy...Until the metamemory and knowledge started flooding back, but he couldn't yet use it because it was all jumbled up. And even if he could use it, he could hardly move when it started. By now, the pain was becoming almost unbearable, as the Chaos attempted to stop him from doing so, but by now its not like he could. Its like what happens when you download too many programs onto a computer or have too many in use at a time or something-it starts to lag and locks up. It was all he could do to create a chaos barrier-at least, he thought he did that. It might've been the Chaos at least attempting to keep him from being destroyed; he didn't know. Not that he could really reason it out; he couldn't really think much with the information flowing back.
The barrier itself seemed to be acting of its own will, warping its shape chaotically and occasionally seeming to start throwing attacks at Celestie. They never went too close, of course; the slightly unbalanced area around her having a bit too much order kept it at bay, but it seemed to be striking out at her, the closest being to Keith at the time.
-
She smiles at the obviously confused man, grabbing and neutralizing every attack sent near her. "I wonder if you finally understand. Either way, I suppose we should get back to why we are here." She says, forming a twelve-foot long rod that's a good foot in diameter. Using her own magic to form a sort of specially-shaped nosecone for the rod, she holds it pointing at Keith as she shifts her footing, spreading her legs apart and keeping her knees, all four of them, bent slightly.
"Lets see if your confusion will last long enough." She calls out, placing the cannonball into the center of the rod.
-
And suddenly...It all seemed to click. With a burst of speed, he bagan moving again, able to access more of his abilities than he'd been. He used the Chaos to create three completely independant copies of him-not like before, where it was merely a extension of his body. No, these were new forms of Chaos. Still under his control, and merely puppets, but all the same. One of them jumped straight for her, in a attempt to test her defensive ability. Another gathered chaos into a extremely small ball, condensing so much it seemed as though the energy had become solid, before firing it straight at her; a Chaos Bullet, if you will. The third ran circles around her just as Keith had, and was acting as a decoy. Keith himself, however, was above, the shield that had been protecting him at first now serving as a extra suit of armoring. He simply hung there, waiting to see how she'd react.
-
She smiles and laughs rather loudly, as if excited. "That's the spirit!" She calls out, grabbing hold of her own wrists as the crystalline plates shimmer and shift. They slide off her skin like water, forming into twin curicite sabers, pirate-style, engraved with various seals. She erupts into a burst of speed, thrusting one sword in the direction of the 'bullet', firing off a three-shot burst of seals, the second and third meant to augment the first to strengthen it. They smash into the bullet, hard, and it promptly gets overtaken by the three seals. Now neutral, she overcharges it with more seals before firing it off at the clone that sent it.
At the same time, her other arm snaps out at the melee attacker, batting away each attack just as quickly as they come. After the fourth attack, she leaps backwards and stares right up at the real Keith. "It would seem you've found your reason to fight. About time, I think." She says, smiling almost sweetly at him as she twirls the blades around in her hands. "Let's make this interesting, shall we? This is an Arena after all, and we its gladiators!" With a quick flourish, she spins on her heel and launches herself at the bullet clone. Once she's within ten feet, she spins once again, counterclockwise as her left-hand sword leads the way in a slash to his stomach, while her right hand sword follows up almost immediately with a thrust to his chest.
-
((Sorry dude, but as much as I was enjoying this fight, we have to get the tournament on with, and it's been three days since you've posted. So, I'm calling the Three Day Rule.))
The blades cut deep into the first clone, the seal engravings bursting out into it, sealing it from the inside out and causing it to fall apart. Within hardly a blink of an eye's time, Celestie's twirled on her heel and launched herself at the melee clone, her wings propelling her through the air and increasing her momentum. She shifts the crystal to cover her entire body as she curls up into a tight ball, becoming a Relorian cannonball as she smashes through the clone, shattering it even as she turns on Keith himself.
Uncurling, the crystal shifts into a large, ornate longbow. Forming the string from woven energy, she glares up at the man and pulls back, five seal-arrows forming on the string. Twang! The bowstring echoes through the Hellfire-encased arena, sending the five arrows soaring towards the Shaper. Slamming into his head, chest, stomach, and knees respectively, the five-part seal quickly overtakes his body, pushed back for a moment by the sheer amount of Chaos before finally turning his body to stone. With one final arrow, the petrified Chaos shatters, dispersing the Shaper's body into dust, which Celestie promptly forms into a large, dense stone. Encasing it in a Curicite shell engraved with runes of sleep and stasis, she carries Keith out of the Arena, not even waiting for the Ref's announcement.
"A shame, you were almost there, Keith. Perhaps an Arena is not the best place for such lessons, however."
-
OOC:Wait, its been three days!? School started back up, so I've hardly even been getting online enough to post, not to mention you could've just reminded me or something.
And you never had to kill my character, you know...If you wanted to call it, you could've just contacted me with a PM...I would've had him be disqualified or thrown the match due a severe advantage Celestie would have gotten...Just...Damnit...
-
The stone began to vibrate, pulsing red, raw energy... Chaos. It wasn't from the now 'deceased' form of Keith, though. It was from a much stronger force. A voice seemed to call out weakly from the stone. "My son! Get up... AND FIGHT! DO NOT BE WEAKENED BY THIS RELORIAN!"
The red energy began to envelop the shell that the stone was in, converting it into a body to sustain what anarchy had grabbed onto of Keith's life force. Anarchy was keeping his son alive. Keith wasn't done yet. Not by a long shot. Keith was alive. A portal made entirely of chaos appeared nearby for Keith to escape through to a realm made entirely of chaos energy.
Keith had to recharge his batteries, but he would hopefully return stronger than ever and carry out the will of the embodiment of anarchy...
To destroy the Relorian Empire.
-
OOC:They're already at the Outerverse, K2. Nisorin made the topic just after we worked out Keith not being obliterated forever(since he's not alive, he has no spirit, so death is the final end to his existance). So...Yeah.
