Title: Out of sight, out of mind.
Post by: Orph on August 14, 2010, 11:35:19 PM
Here Koty and his sons appeared, in a swirling vortex of energy outside of comprehension. They were in the "Hub" of existence, a place only possible to enter if you're not..quite mortal. This meant that if you were something akin to lets say. A Sage, this place was fatal to enter, you'd be absorbed into the vortex and ripped of your memories, your personality, your very spirit. You'd lose your self-awareness and become nothing more then energy in a massive amount of energy, a drop of water in an ocean.

The group knew what this meant, they were to be broken down to nothing in this terrible place, between the Embodiments and the nature of this area they would be in one hell of a fight. Shuddering as he felt a powerful barrier being raised, it would keep everything out, and keep everything in.. Until one side had been utterly annihilated. Koty raised his hand, God Fire swirling up from his shoulder and his forearm, grouping into a compact orb in his hand.

Ryt held his Lance in hand with nothing more then a blank expression on his face, Rogue was smiling widely as his firearm kept changing shapes, from every weapon in existence, unable to settle on what to fight with. Vincent however looked annoyed, he had just started to get to know Zumi, and there was a high-chance of him dying here.

"Looks like they brought an army..of divine entities beyond mortal understanding.. Poor bastards, they don't stand a chance." Rogue said, the others smirking slightly at his comment, excluding Ryt, who kept his eyes trained on the opposing force.

"Orders Father?" He asked, turning his head slightly.

"Kill everything." The Mortal God replied.

Null: Even if it's to get rid of your characters, Orph, it's still godmodding. A place impossible to enter except for you, and not even being defined? Yeah, no. A number of NPC embodiments? Since when do you control them all? No.  A powerful barrier that can keep everything in and out, 100% effective? No. GODMODDING!

OOC: Not impossible to enter, for certain things, which isn't just me, and I don't, I just said a number of NPC embodiments that are both unnamed and left open so that others outside of this can still create some, and the barrier can be brought down, it'll just need something reallly fucking strong.

OOC: Then actually make a forum of the place, otherwise you're just using some random place. Also, the divine entities beyond mortal understanding? If we're changing the backstory, then they wouldn't be 'divine.' And you wouldn't be immortal.

OOC: Why? This is just some place to throw my characters until I actually want to use them, removing from the current plot and the like. They'd still be considered "divine" in my books. And actually Koty would be immortal, as he's naturally unable to die through old age, as guess what? He doesn't age, not through some spell, but he just doesn't age. It's more of a term to describe that he's above normal people, and normal people entail Sages and the like.

OOC: But you said mortal, which normally also means normal without magic on the RP anyways. And even if you're just throwing them somewhere. You made the most godmodding place ever, to do so!

OOC: It isn't god modding, far from it actually, it may seem like it but if you actually thought of it instead of instantly resorting to. "GODMODDINGSTFUGTFO" you'd realize it's pretty easy to get there, just that the nature of it would be incredibly dangerous, along with the fact that there is a barrier and an army of incredibly powerful entities there that will kill you. More along the lines of me giving everyone an incentive NOT to try to get here.

Having been connected ever since Vincent gave Zumi her first undead kiss, she knew where to find him, even when he was somewhere usually unreachable. She was a Nightmare Sage, one of a kind, and unique. So, here she was, in a realm of which she had no idea how to move about or how to leave, or simply what all she could do in said realm.

But even so, she was there, her stitches glowing sharply as she floated there. Surrounding her was a gray-black aura, representing the sadness and the impact of emotions that caused her suicide. However, right above her now-beating heart was a soft glow of pink, and the words "LOVE" was glowing in a darker pink, more serious toned, on her skin. Her bright pink hair faded and eventually she became a monochromatic person with one color. "Vincent?"
