Name: Cain
Age: Unknown, somewhat older than Abel.
Race: Primarily advanced human.
Alliance: Aralang Special Forces
Biography:
Cain had been born in a parallel Earth in the year 2006. There were slight differences in this Earth and our own, yes, and it was an Earth of war, not an Earth of peace... But it was not too far from our own. And in terms of science, while the general society was at our level, there were secret societies -- organizations -- which had advanced technology.
Cain worked in one of these societies at the mere age of fifteen, working for Dr. Kai Tyris, in that universe a doctor who had been born on Earth... A human. Cain was perplexed by Kai's work and seeked to follow in his footsteps. To do this, he was developing brilliant technology years ahead of his people... An Alternate Universal Beacon.
Unfortunately, the beacon didn't bring company. It brought the virus which would eventually begin killing off people on Earth. The virus, created in another universe by a sage, had gained a foothold. Panic spread throughout society, and Cain did his best to keep his involvement in the virus a secret. That's why it seemed like a miracle when the Aralangs came around and began the three-year process of wiping out the virus. In that time, Cain managed to convince the Aralangs to allow him to study under their scientists in the universe.
When three years ended and the Aralangs decided they had to destroy the universe, they promised Cain, who they believed was one of the most brilliants humans ever, that he would be getting a free ride out of there. However; Cain had to convince them long and hard to allow his small brother a free ride out as well. The Aralangs agreed...
But en route to another universe, the ship that they were on exploded. Abel gained the power of his arm that day. And he thought he was the only survivor, but he was wrong. Cain also survived, and also gained his ability on that day, the same as Abel's only... A bit different as well. His left arm absorbed the soul and spirit of an object and its parallel entities, sure, but it also acted as a host for a tamed version of the virus from that universe...
And Cain tamed the virus to be a virus that would, as he eventually learned, only killed magic users -- something he managed to make it do after first meeting a sage upon arriving at an Aralang base in another universe. He swore to destroy magic users from that day forward. Why? Because magic had been used to strengthen and cultivate the virus which had caused the death of Cain's people.
Cain began to work for the Special Forces of the Aralangs after a few years of training. His advancements came quick. In his spare time, he worked on creating technology, using his brilliant IQ to help Aralangs develop further. When he wasn't off duty, he was working the jobs that the Conventional Forces couldn't handle. As I'm sure you can imagine, that includes a multitude of jobs.
Cain quickly discovered early on that he could not control the personalities in his mind without going crazy, and that he was absorbing too much power. He made a fix on both of these by creating a device which could act as a sort of 'storage chip' which could tap into at will inside his brain. This storage chip could easily hold tons of information, much more than the brain could. Especially when the data was compressed. Occasionally -- every few decades or so, he has to add more memory to the chip.
Right now? His mission? Keep a close eye on Hikaru Tyris and make sure she doesn't try to escape Aralia.
Weapons: His left arm.
Equipment: Some Aralang tech, whatever he's got with him.

Didn't Orph once have Abel say he didn't have a brother named Cain? It was back in one of the first topics on Lesh.

Besides, the typical Bible story is that Cain was a brother.

The Aralangs don't destroy universes as they please. They would do it for a very good reason. So, why did they want to destroy the universe? As far as I know, the virus has been dealt with, except for the one the Abel had. So, I guess he's got the same abilities through the same way Abel went through?
