Title: In honor of a friend
Post by: Zero on August 24, 2010, 02:44:32 PM
Teleportation occurred. A dozen warrior humans appeared and began to claim the planet Terraguove. In honor of Perridas they were doing this so that his memory would live on as Arceis would want it to. The ground was semi fertile and thus of use and so a take over had began.

OOC:Alright, Im calling bull on that, L-Rage. Now your just being obnoxious. What possible reason do they have to be here this time? And dont say about their RSO-whatevers. If those were the reason, they would have been here before the Warrior Humans since the Anrufe left, and if they aren't looking for land, then they'd have no business here. Seriously, dude, just leave him be.

OOC- We came from the other topic...I tracked his teleportation.

OOC:Alright. I read the other topic. You were basically telling them to leave. They did. You have no business harassing him anymore, and there's no reason that you would remotely care about them claiming this planet.

OOC : Hikaru says it's under argument and until then do not carry on further unless another admin says the matter has been solved. Therefore

OOC:Not all of a sudden, L-Rage...I've BEEN against your attacks on Hawk's attempts at survival...

OOC:You AREN'T making money off it. He's got nothing you could possibly want, he even complied when you had your fleet tell him to leave the rubble of Militaria, and you STILL chased him here and threatened his forces without provocation, most of which were likely civilians. There's a line not to cross, you know.

OOC- I make money off of contratcs that deal with hawk...Im am a PMC. There is no such thing as a line when it comes to Private Military Companies (i.e.- Blackwater's little incident in Iraq a few years back)

OOC- Dude, regardless if he's making money or not, Lyoko has every right to beat the hell out of Hawk with Grunder if he so chooses. You've got no right to stop him.

Grunder strangely would find no warrior humans that had teleported from the remains of Militaria in that area though. This group was a different batch of warrior humans.

OOC: Hm, UnStellar -does- make a good point. It really isn't anyone's business but the business of Grunder and WH (Lyoko and Hawk respectively). And you didn't have ships EVERYWHERE, Lyoko222. Everywhere being "thewholefuckingshite".

OOC:UnStellar, when someone tells you to leave, and you do, its usually just a little odd when they still try and kill you. This is seriously starting to be little more than harrassment, considering that now Hawk is being followed everywhere, even after following the orders to leave and stuff by Grunder. By now, Hawk cant so much as use the WH without Grunder just 'happening' to pop out of nowhere to kill them all. I'd be of that idea if Hawk was getting even a littlebit of a chance to freaking use them without being found instantly. Not the case, though.
And L-Rage, just because they're mercs doesn't mean they aren't more than killers for hire. Thats their job, yes, but if someone was actually trying to pay another to murder the last of a species desperately trying to run away and having done nothing against their aggressors, it tends to have the persons morals flare up a little.

OOC:There has to be a reasonable IC point in his coming after Hawk. THERE IS NONE. Him being a PMC has nothing to do with him suddenly jumping after the guy they told to get off their lawn. Rage has no credible IC reason to be chasing Hawk. Besides, who would pay you to destroy an entire species?

OOC- Hiro, Zak, and new dude... I'm gonna call you Brit, cause that was your name,

I have respect for you all. But you're not staff members. If you find issues, report it to a staff member, and let them sort it out.

OOC-I followed them for thier failure to comply with said orders immediately...and as for my mercs... Money is life. Should morals get in the way said employee will have thier employment contract terminated

OOC: ... You followed them... because they were a bit late on getting off your lawn? Sequence of events: Old guys sees annoying kids on lawn building a castle in his driveway. He yell at them and tells them to get off his lawn. They wait a few moments to leave, and he chases them with his scooter.

OOC:This wasn't the topic Hik said to put on hold? I know I saw Hik having posted something in one of Hawk's topics about putting it on hold so they could help decide on the matter; thought it was this one.
And UnStellar, I respect ya as well. But, its Shattered...Stuff like this seems to go down a lot anyway, and as well, Hawk's my friend. Im just plain getting tired of seeing everyone continuously attacking him for just being there. Im gonna stick up for him. This really should've been in the OOC forum, but I forgot to do that, plus I wasn't sure if anyone would really bother reading it.

OOC- But this isnt your battle to fight Red. No offence but this is between Hawk, Brit and I.

OOC- Yeah, I don't trust the OOC section. And I was not aware that Hik may have put it on hold, and I apologize if this is so.

Lyoko's my friend, and he's had to put up with a lot of shit lately. I understand your point, however,

IMO, the beauty of this RP is the freedom we all have to do what we like, for the most part. We create the weapons we will, we design our characters and strategies and we fight what we want. Lyoko's  got every right to chase down Hawk, and even if you disagree with it, you have to respect him for taking advantage of the freedom of this role play. From what I hear, Lyoko's actions have not been unprovoked.

OOC:I dont disagree with his ability to. More, I disagree with the fact that he always seems to pop up wherever the Warrior Humans are and attack them. He can attack the Warrior Humans, sure. But he always seems to know where they are and attacks them for being there.
As for this exact thing, it started on New Militaria, which Grunder doesn't even own the ruble of, yet was preventing the Warrior Humans from remaking. At some point, he demanded they leave while at the same time putting up a AM field. Hawk responded to this by putting up a AAM field, presumably because they couldn't leave with said AM field in place(they got there via magic, and Hawk put the AAM field up with magic, which its supposed to be able to be done). Grunder opened fire on them not leaving when they COULDN'T leave, they left, and Grunder decided to kill them for it. This, makes no sense, and that is what I disagree with.

OOC- Look guys. Im sure Mike appreciates you sticking up for him, but this attack isnt somthing personal i have against him. I personaly think he's pretty cool and doesnt diserve much of the treatment that people like Regina, K2, Orph , ect...and somtimes maybe even i myself give him  but what you have to realize is that he needs to learn, I do have specific instructions not to kill all of his characters because it wouldnt "Teach him a lesson".

And also an AM doesnt hinder the ability to Teleport...an At field does. and also they didnt even have to. they could have left on thier ship

Title: Re: In honor of a friend

OOC:I know what you mean by that; I've seen your post. However, your idea of teaching him a lesson involves him eventually beating you. He doesn't have the forces to do so, and is likely attempting to buildup a force strong enough for that. Dude, the Warrior Humans are a group of terrified survivors trying to find a home so they can replenish their numbers, and THEN they'd possibly be able to actually put up a fight. What do ya expect him to learn, that its not worth putting up a fight since he wont win anyways? I agree with the objective, if not how hard you choose to attempt to teach it. However, until he can reasonably gain a strong enough force, how do you expect him to put up a fight, eh?
As for the AM field, its more of a indirect block. They dont have technological teleporters from what I gather, so blocking their magic blocks their ability to magicly teleport-meaning they'd have to deal with that AM field before they could get away. At all.
As for ships, I dont think they have any. Possibly, they were trying to stay out of range in fear of a possible attack. Which you did.

OOC- Teleportation is not blocked by AM fields. AM and AT fields are two separate things. He inhibited his ability to use magic, to harm his fleet, but not his ability to escape.

OOC:What were they supposed to do, hijack it?
And UnStellar, I know that. But, with no technological means of teleportation, they'd have needed to use magic. Which was blocked.

OOC- Can we get a staff in here to explain the differance between magic and teleportation...and if they can produce a fucking AAM field they can fucking teleport

OOC: Wait! I have an idea.
You lot can either

A) Stop complaining about the situation between the Warrior Humans and Grunder.
B) Duku yourselves IC and actually -do- something about it.

Straight-up, I'm getting tired of this topic. Choose-- A or B?

OOC
1. AM Fields only block EXTERNAL magic
2. Teleportation is an Internal magic.

At least that is what Hikaru told me.  But since the topic got spammed with OOC posts, I hereby null it.
