Imagine, if you will, a Shattered Planes fighting game. All of our characters, given a unique fighting style, a "magic"/"ammo" gauge, three special moves, and three different "costumes". What would they be like?
Benjamin would rapid fighting style with powerful magic moves balanced out by a rapidly depleting a slow recharging magic gauge. His weapons would be a Magnifanium staff and a pair of SPLITTER gloves.
His special moves would be a huge blast of raw, red energy, an energy blast that affects anything in a radius around him, and a ball of compressed lightning.
His costumes would be a black beater under a maroon Jakleauti with legacy pants and boots, messy hair, and spacefarers. His second would his official UP president outfit, all black with a maroon vest and jakleauti. His third would be his white war robes.
What would your characters be like in a fighting game?

C'thulhu would be slow and powerful form of martial arts with choatic(read: control reversing) magic powers.
His costumes would be one of him in full Emperor Palpatine style robe, the second of him in the same robe but the top half has been torn off and his tattoos are glowing, and the third would be him in his power armor (http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3242/3030602735_ab651eded4.jpg?v=0) I have yet to make an request for.
His weapons would be nothing except for when he's in the suit in which he would weild a huge ass sword and shield.
His specials would be a large comet that comes crashing into the other player, Hundreds of tentacles made of darkness coming out of him and strangling the other player, and a move that's more of finishing move where he rips the other players soul out.

Zakary would have fast attacks with long reach dew to using his sword/staff and fire magic, but his attacks wouldn't be super powerful. His first costume would be him wearing his black shirt, trenchcoat, and cargo pants with his blond head uncovered. His second costume would be him wearing a lab coat with goggles on. His third costume would be him wreathed in an aura of flames.
His specials would be a blast of fire that goes across the whole screen, he twirls his sword, slashes the enemy up, jumps up with them and blasts them down with a fireball. The third would be him dashing toward an enemy, hitting them multiple times and then turning and freezing them. Then he jumps up and shoots a giant fireball at them.

Keith would be focused on fast moves that aren't blockable-basically, he punishes the other player for trying the old 'rock-block' style by piercing through blocks with most of his attacks, and with a long range. The only thing is, his attacks themselves deal sub-par damage, so he has to rely on dealing it all before the opponent can interrupt his chain of attacks. Like Cthulhu, he can induce Chaos with many attacks, which should be obvious considering thats what he's made out of. Weapon-Wise, he'd fight with a variety, all formed from his own body.
His costumes would be his skin-tight armoring with the ornate symbols, the red medieval armoring with the horns out of the shoulders n' stuff, and another which I've yet to reveal in the RP as of yet.
Keith's special would be turning into a massive behemoth of a dragon, with three heads and ten wings. This dragon performs one of three attacks-it breaths a wave of pure Chaos from each head, its arms turn to massive scythes which smash down upon the field, or it creates a massive gale with each of its wings, pushing back the foe and dealing damage once they land. The attacks themselves deal less damage as specials of other characters, yes, but it ALSO has a very wide area of effect, making dodging much harder.
Keith's playing style is to damage his foes easily, at the expense of his attacks dealing little damage.

Faote, being slow hitting, would just try to screw you over if you make the slightest misstep. His main weapon would be a scythe which deals loads of damage, but it's really slow. Even aerial attacks are a pain with it. Thing is though, if you try to block against a scythe attack, your block is broken. You're better off just avoiding him (which would be really easy to do.). Other than this, his health is actually quite low compared to other fighters, even if he's a hard hitting slow fighter. However, his style of fighting more than makes up for this.
So, three specials for Faote? Kay. Faote's first special would be portal creation. Basically, he would spawn semi-random portals across the screen (They would scroll with the screen too) and whenever Faote attacked one portal, all other portals would use the same attack. So if Faote slashed a portal with his scythe, all the other portals would have a scythe slashing through them.
Faote's next special would be chargeable energy beams. At it's lowest level, a quick, small beam can be fired in quick succession. Thing is, the beam does very little damage. However, to make up for it, the beam can also go through portals, spamming the screen with them. The opponent can't be flinched through these beams, but if they block, they're leaving themselves wide open for a slash from Faote's scythe. The second level of the beam is a bigger, slower form of it. It flinches the opponent, and is portal affected. Thing is, it takes Faote 2 seconds to charge to the second level. So while Faote is charging this, the opponent has a good chance to stop the Alchemist from filling the screen with it. The final charge takes 5 seconds, and doesn't come from Faote himself. Instead, Faote opens a massive portal behind him and literally fills the entire screen with beam energy. It's blockable (Durr.), but it's not portal affected (It actually decimates any portals it comes in contact with!)
Faote's final special would be a God circle enveloping the entire stage for about ten seconds. Rather than going the quick route in the RP (insta death!), It rather increases Faote's speed and fighting ability. His scythe attacks are quicker, and his beams take half as long to charge up. If a Faote user was lucky, they could get off a few portals and spam the medium beam through them, or get off that massive beam behind him much more quickly than before.
Costumes? His would be the False Heaven Admin uniform (A black robe with glowing blue symbols littered across it), A black trench coat with no other real defining features, and bone-like armor with mouths opening and closing everywhere (sinner's armor from Hell tournament VS. Koty.)
Yeah, Faote may look overpowered, but keep in mind that he isn't anything without his portals. Otherwise, how else would he be able to pull off other attacks like his beams with so little health?
