The approval times are ridiculous. Nisorin does well, but nobody else really approves. I've had Jakob Yesterwind waiting for several days now, and a couple other things as well. I'm sure I'm not alone in this problems.
Can we please fix this?

I agree. We're seriously in need of a system for this stuff, one that lets people actually get their stuff. Hik's the only one who's even seen my Lorcar Castes and stuff, and I dont know about the other stuff. >_<

The only admins left are Orph, Gaser, Nisorin, and I. My free time got seriously cut in half, so for once not even I have all the time in the world. Orph is off in Dakota. Gaser has school. And Nisorin is the only one with free time.

Can't watch the other staff. If someone approved in bias? The other main staff would have to bother monitoring all that.

I agree with you to a point....some approvals could be bias, but in the counter-point pick people whom you trust to approve stuff i.e. Zai, Hiro, Ect.

Still. She's acting like he's basing the entire empire off it. She's overreacting a bit. I get the character's name part, but its much simpler to just ask him to change the name than call it a rip off.

If you read her posts, she was only really talking about the character in question and its name, also to assure that the character itself was not the character from the mythos itself.

Yeah, staff does need to approve more. I tried to make it a point (unless I was having an AWFUL day) to at least check the forums for new requests. Doesn't mean I'd always post in the requests then, but yeah. Part of why I bailed out from staff is because I don't have time to approve things and such, or any administrative duty for that matter.

Well, we're only mad because it really takes too long sometimes. Like UnStellar said, a week is a bit long to wait on a approval, you know...

Well, since Hikaru seems to be incompetent to approve of posts, Kaleb has already taken himself off of staff, and Orph doesn't come on (whether he's in North Dakota or not) unless someone says something to him, then I say the entire staff needs to be reformed.
Except for Nisorin, though he doesn't get much Internet time.
We need an entirely new staff. That's why I mentioned holding a debate topic. We did it on CLTCG, I remember it.

You get a whole new staff and it won't be the same RP anymore, things will change. SOMEONE of the original OK/early GE has to still be staff, not saying me, K2, or Orph work as well. But someone.

K2 can still stay on staff for the simple fact he seems to remember what happens and he's the one typing it up. As for Orph? Like I said earlier, he never really comes on. Sure, he's on vacation, but ever notice how he only came on when you would link him something? Like when he found out I was going to get the AC since I stole it IC, remember?

There are various reason why I don't want to be staff, and I am not qualified to be staff of this forum.
My reasons why I dun want staff.
1. Way too much work.
Look, I'm making a card game. A CARD GAME. That's already a ton of work. Not to mention I've staffed a few forums before NE, and I can assure you being staff is a lot of work, especially if said forum is active like this one.
Speaking of the TCG, I should get caught up on that.
2. I dun liek positionz of powaz.
Title says all. I really don't want to be 'above' anyone. Actually, I want to be lower than others in terms of rank. I feel like my judgment is wrong or faulty, and I want other members to see me as Zai, not as 'the moderator' or 'plz approve mah stuffz zai.' I hate that. I. Hate. That. I can't tell you how many times I simply felt out of place because I was staff. I'm disconnected from the community as a whole, the only job being to apply warnings or lock topics. And on this forum, being staff alienates the population even more, as people only really seem to notice them when they want something approved.
And only reason why I'm staff on NE was because I was kind of forced to. If someone says differently (because I don't remember it being said differently.), I'll be glad to un-staff myself there. 8{D
Reasons why I'm unqualified.
1. I suck at combat, and at SP in general.
Listen. How many times have you seen my characters fight outside of the tournament?
ZERO. That shadow thing doesn't count because IT WASN'T A FIGHT. And in the tournament, the fight against Koty was a joke. Literally. Ask Orph if you don't believe me. Fight against K2? LULZ I LOST SO BADLY.
I believe the staff of SP has to thoroughly understand the fighting mechanics behind this forum, whether they win a lot or lose a lot. Me? I haven't a clue. Sure I've fought a few times in other RPs, but that's like saying you can make apple cider out of lemons. They're not the same.
2. Approvals.
I have no idea about anything anyone tries to get approved. Look, if you sit me in front of the archive topic (or aralang. They're basically the same.) and ask me to decipher every single bit of it, I guarantee you I would not understand half of it, let alone have some sort of idea whether to approve said technology in the first place. I have nothing to compare to: All of my stuff thus far has been accepted with little to no argument. I don't know what's over powered and correctly powered, what's ripped off and what's legit. Hell, this ties in with the 'sucking at combat' post. I really cannot fit this role because I suck.
3. I suck.
Did I mention I suck?
Look, whatever new staff you get, I must ask of you that they fulfill the above requirements where I have failed them. I will not do for this forum.
