A purple portal of some sorts began to draw Lucis in towards it.

But if failed because of the intense gravitational pull in Vaccus, seeing as it was a galaxy full of nothing but different types of black holes, there was enough to keep even the strongest pulled object from moving.

So the portal moves towards the star in response, absorbing everything in its path.
