Empire Name: Alevara
Primary Race: Emouvoirs
Empire Description:
Alevara is an empire that his been around since the dawn of human civilization. These people stand out from others because they are in touch with every single emotion they have, never once hiding it from themselves or another person. Since they are so in touch with themselves, their emotions manifests into powers, granting them the ability to manipulate the mind and heart of another person. However, Emouvoirs are neutral people and they never fight unless they are going to be affected in some way by whatever is going on. Otherwise, they keep to themselves on their planet called Duerme, living amongst one another in harmony. Alevara has no ruling race, instead they are made up of any person that is so in touch with their feelings that they can actually fight using them. Their ruler, or leader or whatever, is Alaskarine, the embodiment of emotions, the one who created this empire so those who are too emotional, far more emotional than an average person, could come and live in harmony with themselves, and their feelings, and those that are the same way.
Additional Information:
When you walk upon the surface of Duerme, you may appear normal, however once an emotion dominates and over powers every other one of your feelings, you turn that corresponding color. This explains why Alevara is full of colorful people.

Is the effect of Duerme magical or chemical or what?

More along the lines of chemical, seeing as it's a result from the brain's emotional center.

Alright. Approved, but keep in mind it'll have a lessened effect on those races with innate resistances to drugs and the like.

Sounds it to me. An external chemical altering biological processes is what a drug is, after all. Be it artificial, or natural.

Chemicals in the brain aren't a drug though XD

Some are. Besides, in order for it to happen specifically on that planet, it'd have to be something in the planet's atmosphere.

Then it would be the chemicals that are found in the atmosphere reacting to the brain chemicals. Should I make a separate topic or make it here to explain it?
