Title: And so the hunt for the Embodiment begins
Post by: Zero on September 13, 2010, 06:42:54 PM
The world that the Embodiment of Emotions on radiated the power signature of the Embodiment of Emotions. On a sub concious level Lord Montreal wanted a meeting with the Embodiment of Emotions. However he himself conciously did not know this until his magic did something weird. It teleported him directly to the world that was owned by the Embodiment of Emotions. Yet why had it brought him to the world? Perhaps he should go try and find the Embodiment of Emotions. Maybe he or she would be a good teacher in regards to the fist techniques, certainly more powerful than Lord Montreal ever had been.

He began to walk around. He would not use magic unless it was vital. He wanted to find the Embodiment without using his magic.

Alaskarine, having decided to screw off the compasses upon guiding herself, she decided to leave the library. Sure, she was on house arrest, but she didn't have to stay in the forsaken library; oh no, so couldn't leave the planet. She had free reign upon her own world. So, as she was coming out of the library, she sensed Lord Montreal, distant, but close and just around the bend of coming down the library's hallway. Quietly, she snuck towards the corner and poked her head around the corner, her eyes reduced to slits as she glared into the darkness. "Hm.." she thought to herself when she spotted the man.

"Who are you?" she stated, flatly, emotionless, as she stepped away from the corner and into the middle of the hallway, blocking off his path. "What are you doing here?" she bristled easily at the idea of someone coming into her territory without permission, especially when she was already in a foul mood; this was obvious as she had a slight red tone, the air around her wavering like the heat waves off of tar in the midday sun. The hallways immediately became hot. "I don't know who you are, or why you're here, but I suggest you rectify yourself immediately." Alaskarine caught the way Lord Montreal was feeling: curiosity. Great, he was coming around for a lesson. Alaskarine sighed inwardly as she fought to keep her emotions in tact.

Why did she ask such a painfully obvious question? Well Lord Montreal would explain it to her as best he could. “My name is Lord Montreal. I am glad to meet you Alaskarine. You are the Embodiment of Emotions.” He said with a smile on his face now.  “And while you have been away I have learned how to tap into the power of the emotional spectrum allowing me to do a set of techniques. Yet I wish to learn to use more than those techniques and hop that you will train me to use some of your abilities Embodiment of Emotions.” He pleaded with her.

Standing there at a whole whopping five feet four inches, Alaskarine seemed to have no threat poised in her eyes, but if you really knew her, you would know that she was quite dangerous. Right now, she was dressed in a nice, cream pink colored shirt that buttoned from the middle of the shirt and upwards; it was partially unbuttoned, revealing a white lacy cloth underneath. Her skirt was ruffled and a dark blue color, and the belt that went in the middle was thick and brown. On her feet were ballet slippers, which she was tapping in a very annoyed fashion, the soles of them echoing off the stone walls.

"Who says I want to train you?" she asked, her right eyebrow shooting up. "Sure, you learned the techniques. But who said you have any idea on how to mast emotions?" Alaskarine cocked herself to one side, all of her weight now being balanced on her left side as she crossed her arms over her chest. You could tell she was an embodiment, with the way the room reacted to her emotions, her feelings, her mere thoughts and words. Right now, her appearance was that of a girl she remembered as school through the past lives of Aristotle, so she decided to stay in said girl's appearance, seeing as she enjoyed it and preferred to look the age she was - 17. Course, she was actually older but still. Who was counting?

So, basically, she looked like a pissed off teenage girl, her brown hair in soft ways, gelled and scrunched, the bangs going over the spans of her forehead and covering her right eye partially; with every movement her long hair seemed to move with it, shaking slightly, going along with every body motion she had. Her legs were long, slender, and she had the body frame of a lean and willowy volleyball and soccer player. Her body was tan, something she wasn't quite used to seeing as she was normally pale or simply white, no color tone.

"I mean, it isn't easy having these powers." Alaskarine cocked her head to the side, frowning slightly at Lord Montreal. "It isn't easy." she stated again as she glared that the intruder.

"It isn't easy to have your powers? What makes you say that?"

After his question, only one word needed to be uttered by Lord Montreal at this moment in time. “Watch and Learn.” At that he focused and feelings of serenity and inner peace filled him and a blue glow surrounded both of his fists, soft at first and then the blue glow became a rich shade of cobalt. You could see that this was one of the emotional techniques that Lord Montreal had said he had learned. Next he focused and blistering rage came up, the blue color brightening and changing into red. The color of anger. Next he changed it to orange, the color of greed. After that he stopped. “Seen enough to think you should train me?”

(Orange isn't greed, it's happiness. Green is greed and envy).

Alaskarine shrugged her shoulders. "It's not about the power." she stated as she slowly advanced on Lord Montreal, each step echoed by the bottom of her shoes. "You can't come into my territory, and think that I will just be oh so willing and teach you the ways of the mind." Now, she was right in Montreal's face, her icy blue eyes darkened with her anger as she stood on her tiptoes and slowly, but surely, began to tower over Lord Montreal in her embodiment form, though not entirely. "It's about being about to cope with another's strong emotions. You wouldn't last two seconds if you were to peak into a depressed person's mind, let alone someone who is insanely happy. You would fall flat on your ass, because you are NOT the level of someone who can even cope with their own emotions. YOU HAVE NONE." she spat, glaring at Lord Montreal. "You are a disgrace to the human kind, you emotionless bill board! You can't handle the power!"

"Oh? How may I prove that I am not a billboard?" His emotions were confusion, irritation and also major anger. He did not want to be called a bill board. "And I could handle the ways of the mind...."

Alaskarine sighed, her eyes rolling in the back of her head as she raised an eyebrow at the "Lord". "No, because if you could, you would already be enabled into my mercenaries. But, you aren't. You only hold the power of fighting with emotions, and that's pretty basic and not at aaaaall hard to do. I could do it when I was two years young." Alaskarine huffed as she lowered down from her toes, her shoes making a clapping noise as she landed on them flat, rolling on her heels and leaning away from Montreal, before she rested back onto the ground.

"Seriously." she added as an after thought, her eyes wandering around the hallway, then to Lord Montreal to eye him. "You wouldn't be good at it."

"Will you help me improve?" Her words had made Lord Montreal realize that he was nowhere near skilled enough. Perhaps he should even stop using his pride and joy, the fist techniques until he got stronger. "Please?" He asked.

"Never." Alaskarine prided herself in being one of the best people who could withstand another person's strong emotions, let alone be able to manipulate the mind, heart, and body. "It's my special power and I don't just teach anyone. Let alone, do I even teach." Alaskarine closed her eyes and placed her hands on her hips, sighing outwardly and loudly, before she opened her eyes again. "Sorry." she said before she left and went back into the library to study. Course, she just left the place but she definitely wasn't going to have him following her around. Silently, she pt up barriers around the rest of the building to make sure he couldn't get past them.
