Title: Sons of Plunder Base (will be expanded)
Post by: Nisorin on September 15, 2010, 06:01:36 PM
Much of the Sons of Plunder's technology is modified Relorian designs using Aralang technological data stolen from them by Hikaru Tyris.

Ships:
Gehennae (http://mityo.deviantart.com/art/Destroyer-178396184?q=in%3Adigitalart%2F3d%2Fvehicles%2Ffuturistic+sort%3Atime&qo=178): A sub-Titan masterpiece created through the combined efforts of Jade and Kerion Derto, as well as the numerous Psiona Relorians that have joined the Sons of Plunder and the existing research done by the Relorian magical research teams. A near-perfect mixture of Ancient and modern Relorian technology, as well as Aralian components, the Gehennae is controlled via the same components as most Aralang ships, fully incorporating the Sierrensa, magical and/or psionic abilities of its pilot via the Noursai systems and TPA V2 equipment. It's surface area is 5.793 × 10^7 km2.

Three main weapons represent the pinnacle of the offensive research of each race. The left main cannon is an extended-fire beam weapon utilizing compacted Seraton energy laced with powerful warping spells, so even as the Seraton beam itself punches through and melts the target, the spells rip and tear at the surrounding matter, effectively doubling the size of the puncture. The right cannon is a modified Orion main cannon, using a small amount of slightly unstable Seraton energy to compound the resulting impact and explosion even further.

The central main weapon is a new design unique to the Sons of Plunder. By creating an artificial Weave, the ship has access to an absolutely massive amount of magical energy, which is funneled into a chamber and shaped into a crystalline spike with an unstable Seraton core. The magical properties of the spike contain the Seraton core until impact. The shaped spike pierces through armor until the spike breaks. Once broken, the unstable Seraton core explodes violently. Depending on the target, the spike may be infected with the upgraded Mueratos project pathogens.

Besides the three main weapons, the Gehennae is also covered in arrays of railguns and gauss cannons. Within the center of the ship is a normally massive 3.4 thousand core processing center utilizing both Relorian and Aralian cybertechnology, magically shrunken to fit in a small room filled mostly with cooling systems. This center acts as a core networking unit for the drones and TPN. The entirety of the ship is powered by an artificial Weave tied into the processing center, supplemented by a large crystal formation of the same type used to fuel the Megalith.

The two large blue areas on the sides are the Drone Bays. Rotating bays fully equipped with TPAD drones of each new type and optional parts for each design. While it has enough docking space to blot the sun out for a mid-sized country, it has no place for fighter docking.

Unstable Saraton Energy was not included in the documents.

The rest has been approved.

You said yourself it'd be pretty easy to come up on from regular Saraton energy.

True, but then Unstable Saraton Energy? The only thing you're managing is destroying your own stuff.

Still plausible. All approved.

No, it's not K2. Not when you're trying to use something that you can't control, and when it's something that destroys anything in its way in every way possible and in some ways that are impossible.

Anyone want to tell me why the fuck Unstable Saraton was approved in the first place?

Was it even requested?

To be honest, no. I didn't need to, yet. The only time I used it was in a background story, from Gaser's memories of years ago.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaand there's your answer, Orph.

Even then, there can't be an energy that can beat everything despite how unstable it is. Might as well just let me and K2 have the Nyx back if we go down this road.

Actually, no. Even the Aralangs wouldn't be able to control it. The reason why Aralangs don't do it is because it's too dangerous. Sure, they're martyrs, but they aren't stupid. Using Unstable Saraton Energy would most likely result in causing more trouble than it's worth. It would destroy TOO much.

Says the guy who tried to bring in a dimensional destroying virus that can adapt to everything, and originally said he'd only use the Keepers as "last resort nukes." on GE, and who has drops of matter that can form black holes, it's my personal opinion you can't be trusted with something of the like.

I didn't say 'last resort'. You just put words in my mouth, right there. Use them like nukes... yeah... Nyx? Of course I would use something nuke-like against it. Dimensional destroying? Umm... its primary goal is to infect, not to destroy. And that sounded like it's something that can destroy dimensions, which isn't true. Yeah. Drops of matter that can form black holes... which I never used... and was also scrapped away. And look at you, someone who is requesting something that can get passed shields and melt titan-class armor.

Playing 'He said this. Well he said this" isn't going to get anything done you know.

Plunder Foot Soldier: Lacheisis (http://ignusdei.deviantart.com/art/N7-Drell-Assault-Armor-178703750?q=in%3Adigitalart%2F3d%2Fcharacters%2Fmachines+sort%3Atime&qo=196): Standing at six'4", the Lacheisis is a fusion of Relorian and Aralang technology, programmed through psionics and powered with a small artificial Weave. Designed to be able to pick up a weapon from a fallen foe and utilize it with minimal effort. Usually equipped in a squad-based manner: Four riflemen, two shotgunners, two SMG/shields, one LMG. Have LIPC weapons installed in their hands, should they find themselves unarmed, and anti-gravity propulsion systems for high-speed ground movement. Squads are accompanied by a Squad Leader Lycosa unit.

Plunder Foot Commander: Lycosa (http://mestophales.deviantart.com/art/Booyah-178954225?q=in%3Adigitalart%2F3d%2Fcharacters%2Fmachines+sort%3Atime&qo=154): At seven feet tall, the Lycosa is the tallest foot soldier in the Plunder army. Its tail is capable of breaking through stone walls and pillars, while its anti-gravity wings let it contend with enemy fighters and move at high speeds on the ground. Their armor is made with a combination of metals tempered using Aralian methods and dense Curicite. Their staves are capable of forming and launching spheres with similar effects to a warping spell, eroding large portions of the target within seconds. They are able to act as a router for the rest of their squads, connecting them into the TPN.

Plunder Foot Black Ops Unit: Salmosa (http://pinkeyefloyd.deviantart.com/art/Specimen-13-quot-Rbot-quot-177652930?qj=1&q=in%3Adigitalart%2F3d%2Fcharacters%2Fmachines+sort%3Atime&qo=355): Sporting a hybrid Heartsplitter rifle, twin Terra revolvers and anti-gravity projectors on their feet, the Salmosa units are the technological black ops of the Sons of Plunder. Once on a mission, they completely cut themselves off from any and all wireless communications. Their focus is sowing discord within enemy ranks. Assassinating high-ranking officials, sabotaging vehicles and buildings, lifting ground-based convoys off the ground through the use of their AG projectors. Their joints are designed to emit no sound, and all lights can be dimmed, shut off, or brightened depending on the situation. Powered by a medium-sized artificial weave, they have a limited ability to emulate Sierrensa techniques to create a pseudo-magical stealth field, proving themselves invisible to up to three visual detection methods at a time.  Programmed using the stealth knowledge and tactics of Kerion Derto and his team, the only more-skilled black ops members are Kerion's own team of five.

Plunder Terrestrial Siege Weapon: Carcharias (http://mestophales.deviantart.com/art/BEO-Arch-Angel-WIP-2-174910321?qj=3&q=in%3Adigitalart%2F3d%2Fcharacters%2Fmachines+sort%3Atime&qo=843): The 'bigger brother' to the Lycosa, the Carcharias stands at seventy feet tall. With massive anti-gravity projector wings, the Carcharias can lift small buildings, such as homes and small shops, and turn them into projectile weapons. Even without the use of their anti-gravity wings, . Armed most often with twin miniguns loaded with HE ammo, the Carcharias have been designed to be able to take and use corvette and frigate weapon systems. Most often deployed hanging onto the bottom of Corvettes.

That's it for now, I'll do the next ones when these are approved.
