Warrior Human Magic
Warrior Humans are far different from sages or other races of magic users as it is their own non spirit energy that they can use for magic. Naturally using too much will exhaust them which is why they have another method to perform spells, namely using magic already around them and pulling it on or taking energy from people or animals or plants if the need should arise to do such a thing. They never harness spirits for energy however as it is a taboo for them to do so. In addition to this when they are drunk their power level sometimes is known to spike. Their DNA is made in such a way that some of their energy is changed into magic the moment they eat and stored away for later use in their body. Carbohydrates are burned to create energy which is stored in the magis which is a kidney like organ that stores magical energy. In addition to this at times their magic has ups like when they eat a lot, a lot of magic is added to the magis. Once the magis is full it must be used in order to be refilled with energy once more. The conversion process takes a full 5 minutes. Then the magic can be used. Filling it up takes about 2 hours fully.
Conversion Process
There is a membrane around the Magis. When regular energy hits the membrane it is subtly changed into the building blocks of magic which are allowed to flow through the membrane and into the Magis itself. Then magic from those building blocks is created. The magic then begins to fill the magis. Once full magic can be fully used.
The magis
The organ is the size of a large kidney. It can hold more magic than a soul can because it is naturally bigger than a soul, giving the Warrior humans an advantage over most sages but as it takes a longer time to fill up with magic, then of course that is also a disadvantage.
