Elite Warrior Humans
Warrior Humans that have underwent radical surgery and biological alterations to make them stronger. Their links to the human genome have all but been severed. In order to fill the missing link in the genome animal DNA has been added to them. Hawk DNA was implanted to give them the eye sight of a hawk. Also the dna of an armadillo has been added to give them armor that is genetically attached to them. Further more an alloy of metals has been added to their bones to make them much harder to break. The Magis organ has with these transformations grown larger meaning they are capable of more spells simultaneously. Charge time of the Magis Organ has been cut down via injection of a liquid that increases the conversion rate. As a side affect these beings eat more. However they also burn the carbohydrates faster when using powerful spells. Besides that however they don't have the instincts that the animals do, that part of the DNA was removed. Also their energy generation abilities were amplified by the infusion of the new DNA making them able to generate more energy for the Magis organ in a short period of time. Also they have wings on their back courtesy of the avian DNA that has been used on them. The wings can also be retracted however and they are made of the same metal that the regular bones are now. Also they live for 400 to 500 years before their magic must be used to keep them alive.

Please use the race request topic in the future. In any case, approved.
-
Slight change added to this race.
-
Reminds me of Super-mutants from Fallout 3. Dislike.
You, Hawkeye, are on withhold on requests. Keep inside the lines or I swear. >>
No more requests from you, I thought that was obvious?
-
Approved still
-
this does seem like the Super-Mutants from Fallout 3 though... (Trust me...ive logged over 750 hours on it since its release...)
-
Yeah it doesn't, But this thing seems to be BS.
Its almost impossible to change the genetic makeup, especially with animal DNA, normally. But the only way possible might be to do it before the embryo has been fertilized. *Or you might be able to do it while they are pre-pubescent and just going through puberty.
-
I assure you it is not from fall out 3.
The DNA magnified certain traits while eliminating or reducing others.
-
By using the genetic structure of animals?
-
Their genes have certain properties. Leapord, speed. Gorilla = Strength. Hawk = Eye sight...etc.
-
But they use these animal's genetics to modify the WHs?
-
Yes, specifically the tissues in the muscles of each animal. They also can use magic to obtain the properties they want though. But if an AM field went up, that would be null, thus it is done with technology.
-
Hawk, they would have to modify the WHs genetic structure o fit that of the animals before they could even hope of modifying the WH that way. They could just modify the genetics of the WH children they plan to make into soldiers as the are being born, or as they are entering puberty. Adding certain chemicals or genes to make them develop the properties. To mess with something's genes you have to do it before the embryo is mature.
-
Zak, you gotta understand that SP is with supertechnology compared to the current technological state. They may very well have this sorta tech in the future. You never know. So, dont discredit it just yet.
-
idk...this all sounds a bit... Iffy
-
Super tech still has to make sense, Hiro. And no matter the tech, its still going to F-ing hard to mess with genetics when people are already mature.
-
The technology is plausible, Zak. Ever heard of gene therapy?
And Zak, just cause its hard now doesn't mean it'dbe hard forever.
-
Actually, with magic and proper technology it may be difficult but not impossible. Genetic manipulating has already used virus' that modify single cell's genetics. So, approved.
-
But my question is...how could they get the technology to do this...they arent even space-faring yet
-
That and the fact that Gene-therapy does not involve USING ANIMALS TO FIX AND MAKE HUMANS BETTER.
-
Actually, yes it does Zak. They find specific genes in certain animals, and use those, or something.
And L-Rage, what do you think the Mechera have been doing all this time? They have the tech, make no mistake.
-
The Mechera arent even organic...they would have no need for such Technology
-
Actually, yes it does Zak. They find specific genes in certain animals, and use those, or something.
And L-Rage, what do you think the Mechera have been doing all this time? They have the tech, make no mistake.
Hiro, not to this extent.
-
L-Rage, they would as soon as they got the WH under their wing. Besides, they were once organic. They'd have kept records of the tech.
Zak...Um...Thats kinda the point...This is future tech...It wouldn't be the same as ours...
-
Thats not what I meant. I meant that it is not possible for that use. Our DNA isn't compatible in such a way. Let alone once we have reached full maturity.
-
Zak...Thats what they need superscience for. Dont put modern-day limitations on this, since they wouldn't really apply. -__-
-
... Hiro. What I'm saying is that
1. Our DNA is not comaptible, and we couldn't adopt some of those traits that he is showing.
2. If we could we couldn never do it in full maturity.
and 3. How the fuck did he get these animals off Earth or get their DNA to gather?
-
1. I have a fleet. Or haven't you noticed?
2. DNA Therapy by means of magic and tech combined is possible
3. Failing that there is the Mechera machines.
-
1. Because of the Mechera.
2. DNA therapy via magic would be the best example of what is going on. Why? Because the changes made by magic, but that are not magical wil not be affected by AM fields. I still say that the DNA changing both on a mature human and the extent is iffy at best.
The third answer makes no sense unless you are going to cyberneticly amplify their magical changes.
-
I'm with Zak here. Although my approval doesn't matter >.<
-
Your approval does matter. You're still a staff member Stellar.
-
Yeah, Unstellar. You are still staff. But what is your opinion, Nisorin?
-
Well, with two approvals already, whether I deny it or not doesn't matter.
