Name: Excessum
Age: For most of his existence Excessum has lived in the void, the antithesis of reality, time doesn't exist there. So, it's rather complicated. But he's much younger then his brother Umbra.
Race: He's a Revenant, another type of entity that was born inside the void. He considers himself to be Empty's brother though, despite their differences.
Alliance: As stated above he considers Empty his brother, so he holds a lot of loyalty towards him.
Biography: Like his brother Excessum has interfered and manipulated existence towards many different goals, although he perceives these to be nothing more then games, and the people involved in them as nothing more then chess pieces. It's the type of 'person' he is, he looks at himself as a superior being and anything below him is only worthy of being a pawn in his own twisted little games.
But there are things that set Excessum away from Umbra, while his brother his a Shade he is a Revenant. While his brother is composed of the negative emotions, darkness, and magic. Excessum is created through the collaboration of hundreds of undead minds, hundreds of evil and corrupted spirits that were wiped clean of their memories but not their personality, perfectly fused together to form a single entity.
This gives him a 'larger' soul then most beings in the total of existence. As he was formed and fused perfectly there is no battle for control between multiple personalities, there is only one, but this personality was formed by some of the darkest mortals and so called immortals the dimensional plane has ever known.
Stalin, Caligula, and Vlad. The list goes on for hundreds and hundreds of names, some magical, some completely mortal. But they all share something in common. They were evil, degenerate men and women. All their combined negativity has made Excessum a terrible and ruthless being. He'll stop at nothing to get what he wants, you can delay him of course. But that's all you've done, delay him.
Weapons: Excessum has no particular weapon, although they all seem to be infected with some sort of evil. But he's seen most with a scythe.
Equipment: Varies.
Magic Level: Five.
Appearance: Excessum is not limited to one physical form, although whenever he enters the dimensional plane he always assumes one form first, this seems to be his 'true' physical form.

To the top, no. Memories are never erased, if they lost their memories the spirit would have been non-sentient energy. Can't lose memories without losing the whole spirit.
And I think you mean spirit, not soul. Also I know what you're doing with the larger thing. Trying to say larger than Hikaru's huh? Nah-uh. Revelation book consumed more than your little barbie doll here.
-
Does everything have to be about you? Well, your incorrect about it anyway. As for the sentient energy part, that's the point, there was no sentient energy, just the energy itself, with minor amounts of personality within it. All of the malice the spirits contained along with their rather dark personalities formed to created Excessum, who was being perfectly formed out of them. He isn't a being that is many minds in one body, he's a mind that was created from many. The strongest aspects of the 'volunteers' personalities won, creating a dark and rather ruthless entity.
-
Not it doesn't, but you complained about it in the chat yesterday, then you put this in the bio of the freak? Yeah, suspicious Orph.
And I'm still against them 'influencing and manipulating." Indirectly, okay. But not directly saying a characters actions of war and such were not there own.
And no, if it was non-sentient. Personality would not be in it.
-
I object. This character was used on MR. It was seriously a bad character and godmod worthy. Therefore I recommend NOT approving it.

Hawkeye, shut the hell up.
Well I guess they were semi-sentient then, without their memories but keeping their personality.
-
Doesn't work that way. Memories would be the last thing to go. And for gods sakes, reply to the other points I pointed out.
-
Says who? You aren't god of spirits and souls Hikaru, you don't get to decide every single thing that happens to them. And what points?
-
The fact memories can never be erased! Personality would go before memories. Because to get the personality, they need to have memories.
-
Since when? You say the memories cannot be erased physically because they are in the spirit, they can be erased from the spirit however.
-
Not before personality.
-
Who say's they have to be done in an order, and a personality is only semi-based on memories, what Excessum is fused in is their corrupted nature the person did to their spirit over their years of evil.
-
And that right there, you lost. Evil doesn't become evil without reason. Motivation. Memories. Therefore personality would go before memories.
-
Actually no, the corruption their actions caused would be a stain on their spirit, it would be something you'd fully have to clean the spirit to get rid of. That's what Excessum is created out of.
-
An imprint of memories, then. The memories leave imprints on the personality, but the memories aren't there themselves. Approved, bro! :)
-
:D
-
BUT you need a second approval.
-
Hm...K2's words do make sense. but I must ask...How did the memories come to leave the spirit?
-
Through the will of reality's antithesis, the void.
-
Yet again, makes no fucking sense.
-
A lot of things in this RP don't make sense. Can't we just say. "FUCKING MAGIC" and let it be? ;D
-
Ask yourself that, prick. Seeing as you're the one that wants to fucking explain magic. Fucking hypocrite.
Memories would STILL be there, personality would go before memories.
-
You do realize that was sarcasm right?
And like K2 said, it's an imprint of the personality, without memories.
-
It would still have memories.
-
No, it wouldn't. By creating an imprint of the personality, removing the memories, which would destroy the personality. But imprinting the personality back onto the spirit, which would give it a personality. But no knowledge as to why to does these things, what it's motivation is.
-
You would need a reason for that to happen. And not no cheap cop out of "The void makes it happen." Real reason.
-
But that is the reason, the void has the will and ability to do these things. And it did, creating another child of the Void.
-
If it has no sentience, then it has no personality. It wouldn't have memories, either, not even metamemories. Hell, they wouldn't even have a consciousness or a sub-consciousness.
-
It kinda does have sentience following that logic Gaser.
-
It doesn't. If it doesn't have what a sentient person would have, it wouldn't even be considered sentient. You even said they don't have sentience.
-
A sentient person is considered sentient because of their ability to think rationally. Which is given by the brain. The spirits were imprinted with a personality and therefore sentience, although only a small amount per spirit. When fused together it allows for a full spiritual sentience along with a personality comprised of the fused entities.
-
A sentient person is a person that has senses, or has the ability to sense, or it means that he or she has awareness. Nothing to do with how they think.
-
Hik, weren't you going to demote yourself? I mean, you wouldn't approve any of my stuff for that reason.
