Except for the fact that the population centers had long since entered a portal to a star ship, a portal long since gone and closed.
The natives had, however froze the nukes in control of Kuria, and tried to shoot her with a continous laser beam.
Ummmm... you didn't post that there was a portal. Having that happen at the last second isn't right.
-
... By it I meant that they went through a portal... maybe not long since gone... but still...
-
Also, you're kinda godmodding the nukes...
You sent the nuke, I took control and sent it back multiplied.
You froze the nuke, I heated them.
Yet then you heated it 'far away from you?'
By then the damn nukes would have been close by enough of range, as you didn't say you slowed them down or adverted them.
-
And you didn't say where they were. You just said they where going towards me and not at what speed or if they were already there.
-
I said she made them head towards you. Given the usual speed of a damn nuke, it would have been there by now, after 3-4 posts.
-
Uh huh... sure... But we did not say at the same speed.
-
Something like that should be rather self-explanatory, Zak.
-
Not necissarily. She redirected the nukes, which I froze, she then heated and I heated to the point of explosian. So it would no move at the same velocity, nor go as far.
-
It takes just one post to put large populations through a portal? That sounds dodgy.
By default, it would go the normal speed. Besides, it didn't even say how far the nukes went before they were controlled by Kurai.
-
Well, it's quite possible through a magic using culture that a population could be moved easily.
As for the nukes, I gotta say they're right. They'd still be moving although they were being frozen/heated.
-
Large populations....? Not really.. there were only a few frigates that came there... maybe.. a couple hundred colonists at most.
But at the same speed?
-
A couple hundred colonists... and they invested into nukes? Ummm... a bit hard to believe.
-
Um...Wouldn't they have nukes from being part of a bigger empire? As a defense?
-
.... Um... Nukes are the standard armament of my fighters.... Why would they be so expensive?
-
Because... they're pretty damn powerful. Nukes are made from unstable matter. Unstable matter is not something you buy everyday, but fine... seeing that you've been supplied by several frigates, but still a bit edgy.
-
... Look at it this way... My population has been on the run for 3 centuries... in space... after being faced with giant alien locust eating their home.... Now, they have their planet, and are trying to colonize more. Can you really blame them for bringing extra firepower?
-
There's a difference between will and ability. You want to bring a load of firepower, because you're being hunted down for thousands of years. It doesn't mean you would have access to it. Being on the run for 300 years seem like you hardly had time to construct WMD. But anyway, fine. I'll just let that slide.
-
... 300 years... and during that time they had ships.. lots of ships... factory ships.. and when they got on Tefillin.. they built factories.... lots of them... But whatever, it hardly matters.
-
You still need to edit your post accordingly. Portalling with magic? Okay... that's quick, but it's too late, as I already posted that the Virus reached the populations. The nukes would still be moving quick, even when frozen or heated up.
-
You said they were going to, and the populations are high up and far away.
-
I said it started to, and I did say that it infected people, and I did say that it was already doing its job. You didn't say they were high up and away. It doesn't matter, anyway, as the Virus is airborne.
-
... But I said it in the other topic.. meh... how fast does it freakin' spread anyway?
-
The damn nukes would be there by now, fix it?
-
It spreads very fast, easily spreading faster than a human can run.
-
... Ok... but the cities are in the air... near the poles and spread out.. Of course, I didn't say this during that particular topic.. so I guess it hardly matters?
And yes, Hik, I'll fix it.
