A diplomat would have to head to the Zarethians. Grunder having a branch on their world gave Grunder a back up plan if problems should arise. And of course the Elite could not stand the fact that Grunder had more than one base at their disposal obviously yet how were they supposed to deal with it? Obviously the answer that came to mind was namely have a leader go speak to the Zarethians.
So as he adorned himself in his finest robes and put on his solar powered defense armor which he had taken the liberty of removing the weapons that had been installed in it from, Rezick prepared himself mentally and spiritually for what the task would be namely meeting with the Zarethian Council. The ritual to prepare himself consisted of a sauna being used first to steam out his pores of all pollution thus making him pure once more for the task at hand.
Once the first part was completed he was clothed in a white linen robe and escorted to the combat area of the Phoenix. Where he would be outfitted in the latest equipment so that he would be ready should he need the equipment at all. Two of his guards approached him and decided to give him the clothes that he had requested from the tailors on board the ship.
http://browse.deviantart.com/?q=tunic&order=9&offset=24&offset=24#/d2vbq7s was part of the clothing he would now wear underneath his solar powered defense armor which he had stripped of it's firepower and weapons temporarily with magic.

“Set a course for Teffilin.†He commanded to the pilot and he waited as the course was set for Teffilin itself. The home world and capital of the Zarethians and also a good starting place for the Warrior Humans to ally with the Zarethians. Well actually for the Elite to ally with them but that was beside the point.
The phoenix finally arrived above Teffilin an hour later and sent down a transmission.
Greetings Zarethians. Do we have permission to come down so that our leader may speak with your leader? We have some trade ideas and other things that your leaders might be interested in actually.
Once that was done blue colored candles on board the ship made out of calming herbs were lit by one of the guards. In order to help Rezick with what he must do, calmness was one of the virtues he would need. Diplomacy required calm and not brutal rage instead of brutal and vicious rage.
For as they well knew he was very protective of the WH and of the Elite Guard both of which he considered as his family along with his parents. So keeping him from messing up the negotiations would be considered a must. The scent of lavender filled the air having a calming effect on everyone who could breath although it was diluted enough not to put them to sleep, it should keep everyone on board calm.
“Let's do this.†said Rezick as the solar powered defense armor was now strapped onto him over his clothes and a jeweled crown as put onto his head which had enchantments on it along with a tracking chip. Lastly blood stream nanobots were injected inside of him in case an AM field was turned on, he would still be able to use magic.
-
The Zarethian Planetary Defense Force appeared out of space near the ship, surrounding it with vessels of all sorts and sizes. The most resounding of the ships was the Zarethian Zealot-class titan, the Prometheus. Its massive size nearly enough to eclipse the planet of Tefillin itself, and its black and red painted hull shining in the light of the blue sun.
The titan messaged the small, unknown ship. "This is the Zarethian titan, Prometheus. Who are you? Respond immediately or you will be signed as a threat."
-
The Perception which was the actual name of the ship sent a transmission to all the ships of the Zarethians that happened to be around it at that moment however.
We are not hostile. A diplomat is on board to talk with your leader, an emissary from the Warrior Humans themselves.
Rezick was indeed on board and when his job called for it he was a diplomat, but also a fighter if that situation should arise. A ceremonial weapon was brought for him to take with him as was the custom of the Warrior Human Elite Guard and so a black and silver colored katana was handed to him but the handle was the only katana portion while the blade was like that of a Knight Sword.
Do we have permission to land?
-
The ships cleared a path to the planet, jetting out of the way. The planet, in the distance, shimmered and several shields went down as they made room for the WH ship to enter.
"You are clear to enter, Warrior Human.. BE careful, and land at these co-ordinates."
-
Once the transmission had been received Rezick was on edge once more and so specially designed candles were once again lit filling the entirety of the ship with a calming mist. After he had inhaled enough and was relaxed his solar armor was taken off of him. Going in without protection was best to show a sign of friendship to the Zarethians. Makarov would have been a worthy ally had he not been called away.
He was accompanied by two Warrior Human Elite clad in the Solar Powered Defense Armors that were worn by the Elite Guard. Also each one of them had a set of beam weaponry, two vibration guns and some grenades at their disposal along with a solar side arm.
-
OOC: How does he know Makarov?
The Zarethian Council member, the only one who was not currently stuck on Nap, or negotiating with the Aralangs, was just getting from his sleeping chamber when he was called out to meet with the Warrior Human diplomat.
-
OOC : When you lead the WH Elite, you tend to know much of the information that they themselves know.
As Rezick walked out of the ship flanked by his two body guards which were armed to the teeth he waited for the diplomat of the Zarethians to come as he had a lot to discuss with that Zarethian. He looked at his watch and was waiting currently.
-
A Zarethian soldier wearing ZPAA armor came up to them. He was talk, and broad, and wore black and red armor. The symbolic colours of the Zarethian Council. "I'm going to have to ask you to remove any weapons from your persons if you want to see the councilor." He said, in a robotic monotone. He almost sounded bored.
-
The guard that he met was clad in a familiar looking armor, the Zarethian powered assault armor to be exact. Yet the guard wanted him to go against tradition and not have any weapons with him or his guard at their disposal likely inside of an AM field or something of that nature? Well Rezick would dignify the guard some. “I myself have no weapons on me, but my two guards themselves are armed. Recent attacks have made it so that I always go with armed guards.â€
-
"We have heard about those proceedings, but we have also endured recent attacks and we will take no chances. Please remove the weapons from your guards... Or they can keep their side arms. But nothing bigger or more powerful."
-
Well the guard was certainly being generous by allowing them to keep their side arms and so the two guards pulled off every weapon visible on their person except two tubes. One of them fought with a whip while the other fought with a set of beam hatchets.
So of course those would be counted as their side arms and the main weapon they didn't dare take off. The armor they wore doubled as their weapon of course.
“Alright. They took off all weapons except their side arms.†Once that was done Rezick cast a spell teleporting the weapons they had taken off back on board the ship. Now they would meet the councillor hopefully.
-
The Zarethian soldier nodded and turned around to lead them to the Council building entrance. The Council building, a large stony gray structure made of reinforced concrete and dietranium alloyed mixes, stood tall and proud above the other buildings in the area.
The soldier lead the WHs to the small, metallic entrance of the building and entered a passcode into the computer at the left of the door. The door wheezed open and they entered the building.
Inside the building it was cool, and well lit, with plated white lining on the walls. The reached the entrance of the Council chamber. "Your escorts should wait out here for the meeting." He advised.
-
“Go in alone?†Going in alone might not be the wisest choice unfortunately for him at the moment. But what alternative was there currently to negotiate with the Zarethians? Obviously an alternative might be difficult to think of completely and so he would need to train hard. Yet what solution would there be to the problem at hand?
“Hmm. I might allow myself to go in, but I will take one body guard with me to keep me safe.â€
-
"I'm sorry sir, but there is no danger. There is only one very old man in there. The Councilor is over a thousand years old, and he doesn't have much magic skill. There is nobody else inside the room." The soldier tried to reassure the paranoid Warrior Human.
-
It was not paranoia however. It was that every time he had lowered his guad for a single moment, someone had taken advantage of his guard being dropped and had attacked him. So of course he was reluctant until he used his magic to sense the magic level of the person in the room. Once he had assured himself that the guy was not a threat he merely used his magic to teleport himself around the doors but invisible and with his signature supressed so he could see how long it would take the guy to notice him.
-
The old man, was sitting in the middle seat of the Council Chamber, stroking his long, white beard. The chambers walls were painted a vibrant blue colour, and there were several one way mirrors behind the chairs. The lights gave off a dull ruby glow so to make the walls turn purple. The man did not notice the arrival of the visitor and continued to wait while thoughtfully stroking his beard. This lasted five minutes. After then, the guard opened the door with a hiss. "Your Grace." He bowed. "The visitor is in this room, with you." He pointed to where the currently invisible Rezick was.
The old man looked to where the soldier had pointed and nodded. "Good day, invisible one. Why do you hide from me, the feeble old man?" He asked, chuckling softly under his breath.
-
When he was noticed Rezick muttered something about learning how to cloak his magic more efficiently and then became visible. “A test to see how strong your magical signature was. To see if your guard was being honest about you not having much in the way of magic. My name is Rezick by the way. Your operative Makarov helped with a certain bit of trouble that broke out on our planet. However the terrorists that attacked will likely try again unfortunately.â€
Once that was said he waited for a response.
-
After arriving on the planet, Alexandere was doing work in his office inside fo the Council Building when he noticed that there was a WH inside... Odd. "I wonder what they're here for..", He chuckles at the thought that they would ask for help. "Maybe one day...". he leans back in his chair and hums a tone.
-
The elderly councilman nodded. "I have heard of these attacks... Most unfortunate that you have been the target for such indecencies. But what is it you wish from us?" He asked quietly, his voice sounding similar to a wheeze.
-
One of the guards that was with Rezick had been one of the group that had went after Alexandere. The familiar voice brought him to one conclusion and that was shoot the person, and shoot to kill fast. “Excuse me for a moment. I must kill the leader of the terrorist cell that attacked.†said one of Rezick's body guards as he prepared his beam weaponry to be used in this situation.
Meanwhile
Rezick scanned the room and used magic to create an AT and AP field around the room stopping both of those magics. So no one could teleport in and shoot him and be done with it. “Your agent Makarov had a most interesting weapon he was wearing. I believe it was called a Zarethian Powered Assault Armor. I wish to purchase it along with a few of the rifle he had which he called a pulse rifle.â€
-
The soldier, who previously exited the Council Chambers, heard the man, and hurried to stop him. He ran in front of him. "What are you doing?" He exclaimed, looking at the weapon int he WH's hand.
The Council member shook his head slightly. "Zarethian Powered Assault Armor manufacturing is a highly guarded secret. As is the use and building of pulse weapons. We alone have such weapons and defenses, and are wary about giving them away, even to friends."
-
Alexandere keeps humming the ISAF Anthem and leaning back in his chair. "Elections are coming up...", One of his assistants announced. "Oh, really?", "Yes, didnt you want to run for the Zarethian Senate?", "Of course Selline...". He takes a sip of coffee.
-
“Oh nothing, just protecting Rezick since I heard the voice of a terrorist that happened to be on Nap.†said the guard. With that he pushed the button and out of the tube in his hand formed an energy axe well part of one anyway, not the handle but from the handle up. “This does count as a side arm since I rarely use it in combat, but well I figure if there is a terrorist here I might as well make his last hours as painful as possible.†The guard manages to find where Alexandere is. “Freeze. You are under arrest for terrorism, counts of murder and destruction of property along with homicides.â€
Rezick telepathically asked his man what was going on outside and when he heard he got worried on the inside, but did not express it so as not to offend the Zarethian council member he was talking to.
“Hmm. You say they are a closely guarded secret. Do you mind if I call one of my men in to show you something that was recently made by the WH Elite?†Rezick had not taken the solar armor and so one of his men would have to demonstrate what all a solar powered defense armor could be used for in combat situations and other things. “Also....we have some tech we might be willing to swap you for your Zarethian Powered Assault Armor and your pulse rifles.â€
-
"I'm sorry sir but I cannot allow you to harm an official of the Zarethian Government." The soldier said, stepping in front of WH while simultaneously calling for backup on his miny computer in his suit. Several other guards in ZPAA came into the room, surrounding the WH.
In the Council Chambers, the old man knew none of this and continued to speak amicably with the WH representative. "That would be enjoyable." He said, speaking of the new technology the WHs made. "But I can assure you of nothing. In order to trade, we would require extensive testing on the limits of the technology."
-
“Harm him myself when he harmed more than hundreds nearly with an attack that he orchestrated on our world?†asked the guard looking at the Zarethian in the powered assault armor as if he were more than slightly insane at the moment. “No, I would save that job for my boss who has more against him than I do at the moment.†He deactivated his weapon for a moment and instead pulled out a set of handcuffs to cuff the guy with.
“And as for the limits of the tech well.....†He gestured and one of his men caught his telepathic message shadow travelling into the room clad in solar powered defense armor. Also some beam weaponry was laid out in front of the elder.
“This is what I am bringing to the party. Also one of my men seems to have captured or cornered one of the terrorists responsible for the attack on Nap and I am wondering if I have your permission to extradite him to a court on Nap immediately.â€
-
The stopped him, yet again, by getting in front of him, while his buddies backed him up. "I'm sorry, but we cannot allow you to harm, or imprison a member of our government on such accusations of hearsay."
The old man was quite surprised when he heard that there was an apparent terrorist here, on their world. "Who is it? I can honestly tell you that I hope you are mistaken."
-
Alexandere gets up and walks out of his office to see what all the noise was about... "Captain? Is there a problem?"
-
The soldier in red turned his head slightly. "This man seems to think that you are a terrorist, responsible for several attacks on the planet of Nap. He says he heard your voice there when the attacks happened or some such." He said, while restraining the WH.
-
"Captain, may i ask why such violent Races were allowed in the Council building?", Alexandere looks at the WH guard and winks...
-
"There is no cause for such blatant racism, sir. The Warrior Humans are not such savages as one might think" The guard said, catching the wink, but thinking nothing of it.
-
What would happen next would be totally on the head of the person nearby namely, Alexandere. So obviously the wishes of the guard did not come into play at the moment, but rather the wishes of the person in charge of him namely his boss.
The guard “And he is under arrest, effective immediately.†The guard respectfully ignored being called a savage and the insult to his race was similarly tuned out by him. No need for scenes in the council building even on the inside he was very irritated with Alexandere.
Meanwhile
Once Rezick had come to the conclusion of how exactly he should speak what he needed to speak, he said to the Zarethian Elder. “Honored Elder, it seems that the terrorist is one of your diplomats for shortly after his arrival there nuclear bombs went off on the planet and he was not invited to the coronation either. Also he resisted detainment when two guards attempted to capture him. His name is Alexandere.â€
A picture of Alexandere appeared along with the other man that had been with him, in front of the Zarethian Elder. Rezick had been informed of what they had looked like when the attacks had occurred on Nap simultaneously. No, another coronation could not occur until the group Worlds Without Boundaries was behind bars.
“And as for your question to the limits of our technology well, why don’t you grant me permission to show you and to order one of my men to demonstrate. He seems to have some of your guards restraining him from capturing the terrorist.â€
-
The Zarethian guard restrained the WH yet again. "You have no authority here, Warrior Human. You have no power to arrest, detain or any other activity that is the responsibility of the Zarethian Government, unless expressly stated."
The old man looked very distressed, and as a sign of that, he was stroking his beard even faster than before. "He is a Zarethian representative... He could have been there with the other Council members, but using his own ship... And do you have any proof of him being involved with the terrorists? Alexandre is a very loyal person. I do very much like him."
-
Alexandere raises his hand.. "My apologies.". He looks back at his assistant... "Captain, would you kindly get him out of my sight..."
-
"Just go back into your office, Sir. We will have this matter dealt with soon enough." The guard said, turning to face him slightly.
-
Alexandere nods and walks back into his office. "It'll be over soon enough"
-
Bad times made a situation worse. Yet certain events had led to the dissipation of one of their most hated foes, namely Grunder Industries and well Rezick was giddy now. He wanted to get off planet so he could head to the ships and hold the celebration with the other elite operatives since after all Grunder was gone with a capital G.
Heh. It was the best day ever for him. For starters the terrorist Alexandere had been discovered and blackballed and black listed by the WH Elite which meant he would be shot the moment he settled down anywhere owned by the Warrior Human Elite. Further more the diplomacy was going very well indeed so far. “The trade of our technologies, one suit of solar powered defense armor for one suit of your Zarethian Powered Assault Armor does sound quite reasonable.†He then went into detail pointing out the various features of the armor, highlighting all of it's good qualities.
“You see this armor technically counts as a weapon due to the lasers built into it, but they are viewed as side arms however due to them being part of the armor itself they are really not a weapon, but another means of defense. Also included with any solar powered defense armor is obviously....†He paused for a moment. “.....Beam Weaponry.†With that he picked up the beam katana that had been brought to him and offered it to the Elder. “Go ahead, turn it on. It won't bite you I promise.â€
-
OOC: ... You haven't gotten rid of him... and how exactly did the guard know he was a terrorist?
The old man took the weapon in his hands, gingerly. "I will call in a technician to examine the properties of the technology." He turned his head and pressed a button on his chair arm. Immediately a guard came in and bowed. "Your request?" He asked politely.
"Please bring Aether to us. We require his skills." The old man answered raspily.
The man went out of the room with one last bow, and a minute later a man dressed in ZPAA armor with several weaponry attachments and various other Zarethian weapons came into the room. He bowed and asked. "What is your will?"
"Thank you for coming Aether. Our friends have some weaponry to show you."
The man looked over at the WHs and took off his helmet, revealing blue hair and scarlet eyes. "Yes?" He asked politely after bowing to Rezick.
-
Formality was not one of Rezick's strong suits but he bowed slightly in return, and once that had been done nodded for the guy to stand up and said to him. “So you are the one who has to examine the weapons I brought with me to see if they are anything you would be interested in trading the Zarethian Powered Assault Armor along with your pulse rifles for?â€
Rezick looked at the Elder and told him telepathically.
So why didn't you activate it yourself? Also the rest of the council that was stuck on Nap is now free to go.
Worry Warts and spoilsports were two of the things that Rezick was not very fond of, but could tolerate. Likely though the Elder would fall under the last unfortunately.
-
How are you in my head? ... To answer your question I... have very little knowledge of technology... or magic... I am just a politician, unfortunately.
The man, Aether, nodded and grinned at him. "I'll be eager to inspect any technology you have to offer and see how it compares with ours."
The old man nodded and smiled slightly. "Aether is one of the finest technicians on the planet. I'm sure he could accurately assess your technology."
-
Well the words of the Elder were somewhat confusing as if he was unused to telepathic communication. One thing that Rezick noted was that he would have to teach this elder later how to do some basic magics and work his way up from there.
What I did was called Telepathy, which is an easy feat for any magic users and is more of a private communication. Also I am going to end that communication right now. You do need to learn to shield your mind against telepathy though for fear it could be used against you at any given time.
Once those words had been said to the Zarethian Elder he examined Aether and nodded. First he handed him a beam katana from the technology that his other guard had with him and had taken off the ship as per his instructions.
“Also would it be possible to open a factory here on Teffilin since Grunder seems to have flown the coop?†asked Rezick. He maintained a mask of dignity and calm but on the inside he was excited that Grunder was gone.
-
Aether put down his equipment, and picked the sword up. He activated the hilt and saw a pure beam of energy in the shape of a katana come out of it with a hiss. He swirled it around and did various swordplay moves. "Interesting. No weight for the blade, which makes it more difficult to wield, I would assume. Because you wouldn't know where the blade is by the weight and you might cut yourself." He magiced a block of steel in front of him and swung downwards.
-
The block when cut by the blade fell in half literally in front of Aether's eyes, the block had been cut cleanly through. “You see the lack of weight is actually an advantage for our soldiers as we have not yet invented a technology to reduce the weight of objects which is a problem we will have to be looking into.†said Rezick with a grin on his face as he watched Aether. “Also Elder, would you permit the use of Stariana since it might have ancient magical secrets there and we like to discover them and put whatever is found in our possession.â€
-
"Its pretty good. But I prefer our weapons. Powered weapons." Aether said, pulling out a knife about 6 inches long. He pressed a little button on it and it started to hum with power. He then slashed through the remaining blocks in two clean strokes. One for each block. "These are made by having energy fields surround conventional weapons. They are as good if not better than the energy weapons. Any others?" He asked.
"Starianna? Its possible. We have colonists there, but... what do you have to offer in return?" The old man said, watching Aether.
-
“Yes there are others, but I think it best if one of my men demonstrates it.†said Rezick in response. One of his men shadow traveled into the room and pointed his fist out at the remains of the metal block using them as a target and fired a laser from his gloves obliterating the remains of the metal block completely.
And then he turned his attention to the Elder of the Zarethians. “Perhaps I could arrange it so half the profits are sent back to the council of the Zarethians. Would that be a satisfactory compensation?â€
-
"Impressive. What metal?" Aether asked.
"Half going to the Zarethian Government. Not the Council, yes." The old man said.
-
“Well actually the metal is a light weight one recently invented by the WH. The armor is a fairly new tech for us. But it works on so many levels as a weapon for combat.†said Rezick. He nodded to his soldier who then took off his solar powered armor. The soldier however happened to be wearing a tunic and jeans beneath the solar powered defense armor. “A good weapon for most situations anyway so long as you keep it charged up.â€
After those words had been stated his attention immediately turned back to the Elder. At which point he nodded of course and said to the Elder. “Half the profits will be sent. Also magical copies of whatever we find will be sent. Oh and if you want I can throw in magic lessons for you free of charge so you learn how to use it better.â€
-
"Our armor is operated by self contained battery units that and condensed as to take up a lot less space, allowing for a lot more batteries than would normally be allowed. ZPAA along with most of our ship hulls and stuff, is made of Dietranium. A super hard metal, that heals itself." Aether told them.
"That sounds... acceptable." The elder said. "But how do we know how profitable you will be there?."
-
“Well according to the history books the stars kept a massive cache buried somewhere on their planet. We intend to find it and use it to get ourselves a planet that won't be easily attacked. Of course said process would take time, which would require us paying you.†said Rezick looking at the Elder. He turned his attention to Aether and said to him calmly. “Can I have a sample of this material and one of the batteries you use?†He would use it to modify the solar armor and make it obsolete, thus making it able to be sold.
-
Before Aether could answer, the Counciler spoke to Rezick. "I think that will sufice for being in the trade negotiations, Ambassador. But I thank you for your offer of magical learnings, but if I were to need any, I'm sure my guards would sufice, I think. But again, thank you for the offer."
-
The words that he would next utter would make sense to the Councilor and to Aether. “Tell ya what Councilor. I will loan you a few of my scientists and borrow Aether for a while. Perhaps he can fuse the designs for the Solar Powered Defense Armor, the Beam Weaponry and your armor and pulse rifle into one with the aid of some other scientists in my employ. With that I am sure no terrorist would succeed as none would like to encounter the kind of military strength that would be availible once the project is complete if you allow it. Any way I must radio the excavation team now and give them the green light, but you probably should move your people away from the remains of the palace just to be safe.â€
-
"I doubt we would need your scientists to use this technology... I agree that it is interesting, but I am... reluctant, to say the least, about giving others our technological advancements. As for the excatvation... I will have somebody go there immediatlely to assess the situation." The old man said serenly, despite his wheezing.
-
Once the agreement had been reached Rezick took out a vaccine gun or what appeared to be one at least. This however did not contain a vaccine but rather contained blood stream nanobots, the AAM variety. He walked over to Aether and poked it into his arm allowing the nanobots to penetrate his blood stream helping to keep the Zarethian safe from AM.
“You are now immune to AM. You can use magic inside of it thanks to the nanites, but we are not sure if it will work long term yet or not.†With that he put his hand on the shoulder of Aether before turning his attention to the head of the Zarethian Council. “Time to start building those factories that will be producing our stuff here on Teffilin, Stariana and many other planets.â€
-
Alexandere sits in his office making preporations for the upcoming Senate Election... "Ah, only a month left. How's my opposition?", His assistant hands him a report, "Weak sir, Bad campaigning to say the least. and this guys even has a scandle on his hand...", Alexandere smiles with sadistic happiness.
-
"We look forward to the opportunity of the advancements of both our societies." The Elder smiled. "And please tell the Mechera that we would like to speak with them. We have been unable to contact them."
-
“Very well. I shall enable you to contact them Elder from one of our ships at the moment we have the opportunity. Seems a Sealist is launching an attack on Nap and well we might have to migrate. Soon we will be hunting for a new world after all since we do need a base.†Those words when uttered would send a shiver down the spine of the Elder hopefully. “As for you Aether, go and tell my guards to take you on board the ship. And also bring one of the Zarethian Powered Assault Armors and a couple of pulse rifles with you.â€
The guard "Well, now I do have proof."
------
Rezick mentally told the Elder.
May I have permission to have Alexandere locked on this planet so as to see if my suspicions are correct or not that he is indeed one of the terrorists that has attacked Nap? My guard can confirm he is, as he was one of the ones assigned to guard the VIP section of the coronation.
He said to the Elder. "We need to discuss more about trade."
-
OOC: Sorry, got kinda busy.
Aether didn't bring the weapons or armor, because the WHs might replicate and sell them.
The elder thought back to him. "You must show the real proof you have in order for me to even consider such a thing. Such hearsay cannot possibly be enough to convict someone of such things."
Out loud, however, e said. "Yes, let us. But first, if you find anything at all that is valuable on Starianna, you must tell the Zarethian Council what it is, in explicit detail, and have it checked by customs before you can export it. And if it is indeed dangerous, we have full rights to confiscate it."
-
The words of the Elder made it sound like he did not trust Rezick's judgement. Yet did he actually trust Rezick's judgement or was this just an act to get Rezick off of his back? Well Rezick would make the gamble and so he said to the elder as calmly as he could. “My men have already discovered an artifact that is on Stariana and need permission to move it. It is a crystal serpent. We don't know much about it currently and that is why I need to have it moved to a research area aboard one of my ships.â€
“Also as for your evidence about Alexandere, well I have recent intelligence that tells me there is trouble. Specifically that Zere has joined worlds without boundaries. And yet where is Alexandere currently? I can sense that he is not where he is supposed to be currently namely in his office.†said Rezick. “Also I can provide you with proof the attack that destroyed Nap was caused by Worlds Without Boundaries now.â€
-----
On the ship one of the soldiers Rezick had brought with him was trying to modify a solar powered defense armor to work more efficiently than it currently could or should and was failing. "Stupid hunk of junk."
-
"Do you know if it is dangerous? Or if it could be used as a weapon? We could assist you in uncovering its secrets." The elder offered, his eyes lighting up at the news of a magical object. 'And I thought the attack failed? What happened to Nap?"
On the ship, Aether was calmly walking about, looking around and found the soldier. "Hey, hows it goin'?" He asked, interested by the armor.
-
The worlds without boundaries were the group that had taken Nap and destroyed it completely. Lacking the resources to build another planet or even a pseudo planet the Narrikians had no choice but to move to Shuma completely.
Rezick scowled for a moment and then looked the elder in the eyes his mind returning to the task at hand. “Yes you can help with the research on the crystal serpent, but we are unsure as to what it actually does. The damaged text we found said only that it was a defense against something. It did not say what it was able to defend against or anything of that nature. Also how much for a couple of your ZPAAs and the batteries that power them? We really need to get our armor beyond the amount of power it currently requires to function unfortunately.â€
"And as for what happened? A terrorist named Zere who is a member of worlds without boundaries came to the planet. He used seals and the Narrikians in corvettes stayed in orbit and tried to counteract his actions. Unfortunately they were not powerful enough to counter his actions. So Nap is destroyed forever and we only have Shuma to call home now."
-----
The soldier "It is so far going badly for me." He was trying to decrease the power used by the armor, and increase everything that could benefit the wearer in combat so the wearer might actually survive.
-
However, Alexandere was in his office. Finishing up a video chat. He gets up and walks out of his office for lunch... Steak sounded good.
(Oh, and im calling BS on knowing that Alexandere is part of the WWB...)

OOC : He suspects, but has no proof. And you are godmodding as Alexandere is already in use in another topic, thus making your post pointless.
-
(he WAS in use in another topic... the conversation was wrapped up and he left)
-
"Who are the Narrikians?" The old man asked, confused. "And as far as I knew... Nap was not destroyed but was in lockdown. That is what the other Councilors have said. And that still provides no solid evidence that he is there as a terrorist. And the trade is... odd... seeing as you are magical, what stops you from copying our designs and duplicating then with magic?"
Aether looked at the suit. "What exactly are you trying to do with it?"
-
“Recently we renamed our race due to problems it might cause if we ever visited earth.†said Rezick. Looking at the Elder he said to him calmly. “What prevents me is that I am an honorable person. I would not stoop so low as to copy designs. And I hold authority over the Narrikians, and the Narrikian Elite so they won't try anything like that either.†Pointing his hand out a picture of the destruction of Nap appeared on the wall so the Elder of the council could see the picture that appeared. “A man named Zere destroyed our world. He is a member of the Anrufe, and now works for Worlds Without Boundaries.â€
“I am trying to make the suit more efficient and more powerful so it works better.†said the soldier to Aether. “I would appreciate it if you could help upgrade this.â€
-
OOC: but the WWB didn't destroy the world of Nap....
"Aah... Well, the problem is being that if you were to have our designs... well... you could easily replicate them, make them a little different and then market them as your own. Or some such. I am not putting your honor on the stand, so much as making a cautious business decision." Said the elder.
"Sure." Aether said, taking the suit in hand. After looking into the battery unit he found one problem. "The battery supplementary core is... well, a bit unstable. It lets out the excess energy instead of storing it. Here... ok. I recalibrated it so that it re-runs its power shifter into the main battery facilitator." He said.
-
(If you want to get technical with it, we didnt. Zere wasnt in teh Worlds Without Boundaries when he destroyed it.)
-
Once the flaw in the suit had been corrected it could now sustain longer bursts of laser fire without wearing out the battery so easily. It could also fly longer and the beam weaponry installed functioned better. The soldier looked at Aether and wrote him a check for a large number of Narrikian credits. “You earned it my friend. Now there is only getting Rezick to recall all these armors and having you repeat the process on each and every one.â€
Rezick said to the Elder “How much to purchase not the designs but the batteries, your energy weapons and about 10 or so of the ZPAA armors? I have plans, and well my armor falls flat which kind of makes those plans not as good.â€
-
"Thanks, friend!" Aether said, looking at what would eventually become cash. "Would it not be easier to replicate it though?"
"Um... a million credits for the lot of them... The ZPAA is quite expensive to make, you know."
-
Nodding his head Rezick looked at the Elder and removed his card which had 2 million credits on it. He wired 1 million of them to the Zarethian Government. “The armors and battery along with your energy weapons will be delivered to my ship.â€
The soldier nodded. “At least Rezick won't hurt me since I got a suit of better than usual armor at my disposal and once it is replicated well, the old models will have to be discarded or something, perhaps used as scrap metal.â€
-
"Of course. Now, is there anything else that you would like to discus?" The elder asked Rezick kindly.
"Why not sell them? If they aren't worth too much to you, maybe someone else might pay for 'em." Aether suggested.
-
Hating to do what he was about to tell the Elder about Rezick had no choice in the matter however. So he looked at the Elder and said to him rather calmly “It seems with the Worlds Without Boundaries attacking, the parents of most children want their kids to be safe bu False Heaven is not safe enough. I doubt the 500 sent there will last very long, so do I have your permission to bring the majority here to Teffilin somehow and hide them out among your population so they will not be destroyed if the rest of the race is?â€
Concern was visible on his face. As he had lost too much already with the destruction of Nap, he did not want to lose another family even though he hadn’t lost his. So of course he would ensure that his family survived by any means nessecarry, and the race was viewed by him as his entire family.
The soldier looked at Aether for a moment. A smile formed on his face as he had just gotten the idea to sell the old models once the new ones were made and completed. After all the old out dated models would be scrapped otherwise, but he hated to waste good technology. “Very well friend. I will see if Rezick will allow it.â€
-
"WHAT?! When did this happen?! I thought that Nap was only attacked and in lockdown! My god, what will happen to the other Councilors... and your people?" The old man asked, shocked.
Aether looked at him and smiled. "Only trying to help my friend."
-
“Everyone has survived but they are currently on board the Narrikian Enhanced Fleet. The Mechera evacuated everyone off planet during the first terrorist attack. Obviously though we had to make sure nothing would happen. So is the armor and what not aboard my ship?†asked Rezick. "Oh, and it occurred a few days ago."
The soldier looked at Aether and said to him kindly “Thanks friend, once I get Rezick to put this armor into production it should save a lot of power.â€
-
"Yes, yes.. good... but I'm afraid we might not be able to accomadate the... er... Narrikians, was it? Here on Tefillin. What about Stariana?" The elder asked worriedly.
"My pleasure. I'm here to help, after all." Aether said, smiling.
-
The words of the Zarethian Elder made Rezick pause a moment before he began his speech. “Very well. If the Narrikians will go to Stariana, that is where they will reside at least until construction on Shuma has been completed. How much for your Anti Fields? Going to have a big use for that tech soon if the terrorists continue what they have been doing.â€
The soldier nodded. He handed the blue print for the SPDA to Aether "make the changes so I can put this back in the factory."
-
"Which of our fields did you say?" The elder asked, confused by the vagueness.
Aether showed what he did to the armour on the blueprints and handed them back to the Narrikian.
-
The fields that were needed were the Anti Pysc for starters so that it could be used when the Lorcar were attacked. The Narrikian Elite wanted the Lorcar wiped out completely and Rezick would oblige them. He had after all been working on viruses for that very reason that would wipe out all the Lorcar no matter whom they assimilated.
So he said to the Elder “I shall take your anti pysc, your anti magic, anti teleport, anti portal and anti energy fields if all of those are able to be purchased.â€
-
"Of course." The elder said, quietly adding up the total approximate cost. He may not be good at magic, but he was good at math. "250,000 credits would be the total sum, if you wanted to by the blueprints for reproducing the shields, as well as several shield generators."
-
Holding out his card Rezick once more wired credits to the Zarethian Government. These fields would hold off Zere for a time being at least. One less problem for Rezick to have to deal with for the time being. “Deliver the fields and everything to Shuma except the blueprints. Send them to my ship along with the armors and the powered weapons.â€
-
"Its been done already." The elder assured him.
-
Once assured that the supplies had been delivered to his ship Rezick grinned. Today would be the day that the Narrikian Elite Guard got prepared to deal with beings like Zere so that there would be no more problems with beings like him. After the preparations had been made Zere would be hunted and killed so that he was no longer a problem.
Still though the suspicion of Alexandere weighed heavily upon him because of all that Alexandere had done so far. He had arrived on Nap without an invitation and had a suspicious man with him.
Bombs had went off after that man had made a call on Nap. Obviously something must be done about Alexandere, but Rezick was not the kind of person to accomplish what needed to be done.
So he would ask the elder to allow him to send a shadow after Alexandere for a few weeks to keep an eye on him in order to be sure nothing happened that couldn't be dealt with.
“Honored Elder, since I am suspicious of your zarethian diplomat Alexandere may I have your permission to send a spy to keep an eye on all his activities for a month in order to put my mind at ease as to whether or not he is a member of WWB?â€
These words had been chosen carefully as there was no desire to offend anyone. Proof was what was needed and if none was found, no reason to be suspicious of the man after all. Just to be on the safe side though this spy would not be a Narrikian that was sent, no this time something stronger instead would be sent.
Still though the supplies needed to have their delivery confirmed and for that to happen Rezick needed to be on his ship to send a transmission. Yet there were still trade agreements and what not that needed to be signed and done.
“Honored Elder, it seems something has come up and I must immediately head to my ship, but I assure you that another diplomat will be meeting with you shortly. As for the news leak it was fake and only part of my plan to stop the WWB from attacking the Narrikians and the Narrikian Enhanced at least until I have a solution to both of them. Their attacks slaughtered too many and so I came up with this solution after watching hours of video footage of their attacks over and over again.â€
-
The Elder nodded wisely, his beard touching his lap. "I think that, because of your declarations.. we can have a Zarethian tag Alexandre. I am most honored to have you here, and I hope our paths cross again, Rezick." The Elder said.
-
The ship that belonged to Rezick code named the perception received a class 5 emergency transmission from the fleet. It informed all on board including the computer's cyber intelligence of what all exactly had been going on completely.
The soldier who had been talking to Aether panicked and said to him “We have to get to the armory. A hidden location in space full of emergency supplies for this kind of thing. I hate to leave Rezick behind, but this is no laughing matter.†With that he began to strap on a Zarethian powered assault armor that had been brought on board and told the ship's painter to come paint the symbols of the Elite upon the armor.
Once the painter had succeeded the soldier ordered Aether “I want you to upgrade the Zarethian Powered Assault Armors to have solar lasers and conventional weaponry built into them by the time we arrive at our destination.â€
Meanwhile
Rezick looked at the Elder “Very well. I do hope we meet again in time. Anyway I must be going since I have to get back to my ship as I am receiving a message on my communicator to hurry back there as quickly as possible.â€
-
Aether looked at him is surprise. He wasn't used to be ordered around like this. He resisted the urge to say something and then nodded and got to work.
-
Still though. It would be wise not to antagonize the Narrikian who was nearest him and clad in a ZPAA. So the Narrikian said to him. "Please get to work immediately."
------
Rezick returned to the Elder with trade agreements for him to sign.
-
What the Narrikian Enhanced said to the Zarethian known as Aether even though he was armored was “Will you please get to work on the armor and adding the solar laser upgrades and what not to the armor?â€
Rezick returned to the room of the Elder. This time carrying a heavy stack of paperwork he set it down near the Elder and groaned with a bit of discomfort. “All this paper work is our trade agreements.â€
-
Aether was already working and so did not hear him.
The Elder looked at the pile of papers warily. "All this for some trade agreements? Are you sure you aren't trying to bore me to death first?" He asked wryly.
-
Rezick is not trying to bore the councilor to death and merely moves most of the stack leaving the last 20 papers which are really are all that are needed for trade. The other 40 just ensured that the Zarethian Council couldn't sue the Narrikian Elite for using their material to reinforce ships.
“Very well. There were only 20 you need to initial and sign. On both the front and the back.â€
The soldier watched him get to work and thanked him.
-
The Councilor sighed and got to work, reading the slips carefully to make sure that the Zarethian trade rights are not violated. Some short time and a lot of writers cramp later the councilor was finished.
-
The papers had now been signed and so Rezick took out a card that contained a teleportation spell. He handed it to the Elder and said to him “In a time of need rip this card and I shall come to your aid if I am able to.†He took the papers and used magic to teleport them onto his ship.
He looked at the elder and pulled out a stone tablet that had several spells on it. “This will bring a few Narrikian Enhanced to your aid if you need them.â€
-
The elder took the tablets gently and thanked him.
-
With that Rezick held up his fist and pointed it at the sky a portal appearing on the ceiling and sucking him into it. He was always one for theatrics while leaving. So before he was sucked in he said to the Elder “I will see you again soon friend, once I have checked and made sure everything is fine.â€
