^If you haven't already, REEAAD.

Because I'm too lazy to make it's own forum and everything.

So long story short, We're all either hunters, felynes, and/or monsters. Hunters get mounts. We all start at Yukumo Village (http://monsterhunter.wikia.com/wiki/Yukumo_Village), and the two new weapons we're adding that are not on this list (http://monsterhunter.wikia.com/wiki/MHF3:_Weapons) are the Crossblade and the Knucklers. No, we are not allowing duel handguns unless your hunter can somehow lift two light bowguns and use them both effectively with epic levitation and can still have enough concentration to be able to avoid attacks.
By the way, there's no levitation in Monster Hunter. Unless you're a Felyne. Meditating. Yeah.
... And if you want, feel free to make a Felyne Comrade instead. Note that they're weak, and wield ONLY Hammers, short swords (they're fucking greatswords to them!) bombs, and Axes/pickaxes. However, they're capable of a lot of things too, like healing themselves and hunters, or stunning opposing monsters. They're even very adept at cooking, and do it a lot better than hunters can. Keep in mind, they usually call Hunters 'Gastronome' because they eat a lot, and felynes are often the ones who cook for them. In short, felynes are cats with pride, wanting to help their hunter with anything possible, even at the cost of their life; all to protect their Gastronome, you (http://i.neoseeker.com/mgv/420572-mhdude/572/10/121596270724_display.jpg).

Felyne comrades are with you to learn how to hunt alongside an actual hunter. You are simply tasked with, when you hire one, being their mentor, allowing them to come on all sorts of quests with you. However, the Guild does not allow them to come on multi-Hunter hunts, or particularly dangerous hunts such as Invasions. This RP will be hosted on Nod's Eden, as I am making the boards for it now.

Wat.

But no one goes on Nod's eden anymore. And besides, that sort of Felyne was boring, and didn't really fit the word 'Comrade.' I wanted to make them portrayed a little differently, a little more how they really act more than what Capcom has them written down as. They do almost everything for you (assuming their fondness is that high.) and hunters barely do anything in return for them other than, well, nothing.

In short, I'm aware of their 'official' term, but the way the game actually portrays them is different, and I wanted to expand on that, not what Capcom has.

I always figured that was just how it began. The reason why they would allow themselves to be hired for such a dangerous job to begin with. And I realize that few people go on NE, that's why I'd like the MHRP placed there. To help revive it.

But yeah, that may be how they begin, but they always talk like they know more than you anyways. B{|

Name: Matry Endavus
Age: Twenty-three.
Gender: Male.
Hunter Rank: HR1
Preferred Weapon(s): Knucklers and DS. His "claws and fangs."
Bio: Matry was born into the hunting business, his Father was a hunter, his Mother was a hunter. It didn't take him to long before they decided that he was also going to be a hunter. At first they taught him all they knew about monsters, their weaknesses, their strengths, their habits, and where you'd most likely find them. He is a living encyclopedia on nearly every monster anyone knows about, followed by strategies and traps to get them. But that is as far as his attention span went. When they tried to teach him how to make different drinks, or how to cook he seemed to fail miserably over and over again. That's why he usually hunts with a partner(s), as he can take care of himself when it comes to killing a monster, but he'd die of starvation without someone around.

But those were the early years, the easy years. It didn't take long for life to come and knock his whole world onto it's head. He was practically the last in the village to hear the news, the news about how his parent's Felyne companion was found half-dead at the borders of the village. When it finally came to it told the story of how his parents had been hired to hunt and kill the infamous White God, Ukanlos. The fact that they didn't come back, was all that Matry cared about. He understood that they had obviously taken a job that was a bit to much for them to chew, but in the end he didn't care that they had been a bit arrogant. All he cared about was how he lost his parents, how they were now dead.

With that he continued down his path towards becoming a hunter, it didn't take long for him to rank up. Brutally killing his targets with his large gauntlets and his dual swords, which he refers to as his claws and fangs. He's been described as a berseker when the battle begins, recklessly charging forward and punching a Rathalos right in the face. But he knows what he's doing when it comes to killing the beasts, he may act like a lunatic, but it's all "part of his plan." Sadly he does usually have a plan, he knows where to hit, how to hit, and when to hit it. It's all thanks to his parents that he does, them teaching him all he knows about monsters has kept him killing quite well over the years.
Mount: Urukususu or Aoashira.
Guild Title: Mad-Hound of Yukumo.
