A massive team of 500 scientists had been sent accompanied by soldiers onto this recent acquisition. They were to do thorough examinations of the ship and all weapons on board it. It wasn't every day something like this fell into their lap after all. So of course they were going to put this ship to their own use. Science took top priority as once they had ran enough diagnostics of this ship they would have new technology. Which meant they could become more advanced through it. Obviously if one wanted to become advanced enough hard work had to be done. Such as studying in this case every nook and cranny of the ship. Each soldier was on edge, tense and ready for battle.
