The planet's capital was awoken in the dead of night to a green light as a young boy flashed into the planet, arriving on the streets of the capital. The people of the capital would slowly wake up and hear the boy whisper in their ears..
"I need to speak with your leaders."
-
A Zarethian politician, dressed in his pink, frilly nightshirt that his grandmother made him and some bunny slippers walked out into the streets. "What do you want?" He asked the boy tiredly.
-
The boy looked at the politician earnestly, a warning look in his eyes. "Sir... Several key locations of your empire are in grave, immediate danger..."
-
This woke the man up. "What are you talking about? Which section?!" He demanded.
-
"We can't talk about it here," Green Zero informed the man, glancing around to make sure they weren't being watched. "Alert your superiors immediately. We're gonna need to get your leader somewhere safe. I've got reliable intel... Your cities are going to be attacked."
-
(sorry for the wait)
"By who?!" The old politician asked, alarmed. "How do you have this information?" The old man started pacing, his brow becoming slightly sweaty.
-
"Because," Green Zero replied, looking the man straight in the eyes, "I helped plan it."
-
"Why?! FOR WHAT REASON?!" The politician shouted, more worried than anything else.
-
"Sir, this is a conversation we should have when we aren't standing in the middle of the street," Green Zero replied, "Now, I really should talk to your military leaders."
-
The man cursed and motioned for the mysterious person to follow him. He walked to his hovercar and got on its personal radio. "This is Gavick Deliv, emergency code 4587. Repeat: 4587. All leaders report to central office immediately."
-
Green Zero followed the man to his hovercar. "One more thing. We're going to need spaceships. Lots of them."
-
"You'll get them as soon as we have the necessary information." The driver said, driving off to the capital building. They arrived and the important person, Gavick, walked up the steps after tossing the keys to an attendant.
-
Green Zero followed his company up the steps of the capital. As they entered the secure government building, Green Zero began to explain the threat. "I work for some very powerful people. About a month ago, the organization to which I am employed ran into some very highly classified information on rogue government channels on a secure frequency somewhere in the Milky Way Galaxy. We have been gaining information that someone within the Relorian government is starting a mass conspiracy to crush your government and several others.
"One name on a hitlist led us here. Addler vas Vacon. Our intelligence says he's military. He's not too high on the Relorian list, but he's not low either. Any idea why the Relorians would want him dead? Any idea why they would want to destroy your government?"
-
A rumble of distressed confusion ran through the crowd of government officials. "No," One particularly robust individual spoke up. "We have never had any real relations with the Relorians, they always kept to themselves. There should be no reason that they would want to destroy us..."
Another spoke, this time with long red hair. Zakary K'olar stood up from his seat. His haird smooth and black and cut short. His eyes a piercing, violent ruby color. He looked tired as if he had been taking a nap after two days of working. "How do we know that these sources of yours are correct and honest?" He asked coldly. "For all you may be trying to undermine us yourself and get us to go to war with the Relorians."
-
"Because," Green Zero said, looking at the crowd of gentlemen, "I'm directly involved in the mission. We had suspicions that there were rogue officials in the Relorian government. We didn't know how much of their government was compromised, we still don't. For all we know, their leader could be in on all of this. From what we understand, the infiltration has been planned by a mix of both DACI rebels, World Without Boundaries remnants, and veterans of the Nyx and Purging wars. Such a group, as I don't even need to tell you people, is very dangerous.
"We couldn't tell the Relorians of this compromise, because we don't know who to trust. So, we've sent undercover agents -- moles -- into their ranks to find out information. I was a handler for one man among our ranks who met with a member of this organization first hand. The organization thought my man was an arms dealer. We infiltrated their ranks then and there.... I helped them plan. To gain their trust."
Green Zero looked out onto the crowd. "I assure you all, the Relorians are a dangerous foe."
