The place? Duerme, one of the capital cities.
The time? Late-O-Clock
The girl walked along the streets, looking much like a goth from a small, unregarded blue planet near Sol. Midnight-Black clothes, even blacker hair, skin paler than marble, and she wore a lot of jewlery with a bat motif on them. Most people would avoid her, even those who thought she had good fashion sense. Because above all else that you'd see on her, one thing stood out.
The eyes...Those crimson eyes with a cat-like slit of a pupil...And those fangs, she couldn't even keep them concealed anymore. She sighed. Her eyes didn't get the slits, nor did her stomach hurt this much, nor her fangs grow out like that, unless it was time for her to feed. Well, it wasn't so bad...Especially since most blood was delicious, even with each different species tasting different. Though there were a few that were just revolting...And she sighed again, this one more sorrowful. No matter how many times she told herself, no matter how good the blood tasted, she didn't think she'd ever quite like feeding. But death's a good motivator. So she checked around to see if anybody was looking, no one was, then dove for a alley. In these shadows, she could find prey much easier, even better yet, she couldn't be seen. And so she traveled the alleys, looking to find herself a meal...Then, she saw it, a alone Narrikan teen walking around at night. She looked his way, her red eyes visible in the dark, while the rest of her bathed in shadow. She beckoned him to come closer, softly speaking to the guy, her arm outstretched. If he accepted...She'd have her meal. If not...Well...She'd have to chase him down, probably.
-
A man creeps up behind her, dressed in a bloody military uniform. He smiles as he grabs her shoulder. "You found a nice one..." he smiles at her as his own fangs began to show. He looks at the teen.
-
The teenager did not like the look of the strange girl that had approached him. The body of said teen went taut, and anxiety lined his face. His eyebrows became meaner looking and he pulled out his galaxy phone as he started to run. ?Emergency, strange being on planet. Calling for emergency pick up and police action.? The teen thought about why he was running when he could teleport. Stopping he gathered his magical energy to do a teleportation while he waited for the cops to arrive where he had ditched his galaxy phone.
-
"Gah! You scared me..." She said, obviously not having expected the person. She then noticed the fangs, and the blood on his uniform. "Hey, wait, you're a-Eh?" Her head snapped back to the teen who started running away. "Hey, wait a minute! Get back here! You're not supposed to RUN! Your supposed to be curious about the crepy figure in the alley!" She yelled, running after him a couple steps before giving up. "Aw, he's gone...And here I thought I'd have an easy catch..."
-
He walks into the light, as he reveals its just Church, her vampire friend. "Sorry about that. I was pretty hungry too." He looks around. "shall we find another?"
-
The teen returned, but this time he had friends. Friends in police uniforms of the Narrikians that happened to be armed to the teeth were accompanying him. There were about 30 of them, counting the teen as well who had been deputized and issued an AP-27 for use in the field. Well this situation did require action to handle. So obviously a weapon would have to be issued to the would be victim of whatever these creatures were. If they were lorcar they would be killed on sight. Each soldier along with the teen had taut muscles as they walked towards the location of the vampires. "Shoot to kill."
-
"Ah, Church, its been a while. Dont worry about him...There's always more to find. Oh, but I wish you could meet a friend of mine, he goes by the name 'Parody Prime'. Some kind of communist-hating robot." She said, rambling on a bit. "Not sure where he went...But he'll pop up, sooner or later. Always does. Hm, we'd better get moving, find a meal efore the sun comes up...You seem to know the area better than I do, would you know where to go?"
-
Church nods and looks over at the police force and laughs. "mortals... pft. Shall we?" He takes her ARM as if her were escorting her and quickly teleports to another part of the city.
-
When the teleport was complete, a look of worry went over her face. "Its not like they could've done serious harm, and you know magic burns away our blood. Be careful, alright?" She said, before looking around. "So, lot of prey around here?"
-
"extremely. Lots of dark narrow walk ways and foot traffic in abundance." He silently points over to a young female narikian, obviously drunk, stumbling out into the street. "my lady" he bows and motions for her to get started.
-
She looks at the drunk, then recalls the day she turned, almost as drunk as the poor creature in view. "Well...Beggers cant be choosers, but if I get alcohol poisoning...I blame you." She said, before silently leading down to the ground, and offering the drunk some help with her bags, a nice warm coat, a trip through this nice dark alley...
-
However the teleportation had invariably been traced. Moments later an AT and AP field covered the entire area after the 30, including the teenager reappeared. Pointing their various weapons at the vamps they said to them. "Surrender or face termination. " This time it was not a joke, there was no hint of glee or sarcasm in their voices, but they were dead serious. No one evaded law enforcement twice and got away with it, let alone once. The drunk looked at the lady, and screamed when she saw the 30 police officers, trying to run.
-
"This is really pissing me off. Victoria my lady!" He says as if there were no police around. "These men are causing quite a problem with out night out. We have done nothing wrong! Can't a guy and a girl go out on the town without being harassed by morons?"
-
She laughed a bit, and played alng with,"I know, Church! I mean, here I am, trying to help that poor drunk woman find her way home and was even going to let her borrow my coat to keep warm, but nooo, these people scared her away! Poor thing's probably terrified, dont you agree, my darling? I hope she's alright."
-
The police stopped to consider the words of the two vamps. Climbing into their cars they drove off. The woman had not gotten very far, but had the warm coat on her. She took out a needle full of an amber colored liquid and prepared to inject it into herself so she would be prepared. This woman was Harrisia. Her life had taken a major turn for the worse. So now she was a drug addict that needed fixes of this chemical compound to survive.
-
Church looks around. He walks over to nis "date" and examines the catch. "She's ruined herself with those drugs... we must find another Victoria.", he whispers to her. He smiles at harrisa for a second and turns to see the cops leaving.
-
"Eck, a druggy? Sometimes I might go after someone with vodka in hand or something to get secondhand drunk, but I already drank before I turned, so thats excusable. But Victoria Sade was not, is not, and will not ever, be a pothead." She said, sticking her toungue out at the addict. "Besides, it'd be worse off down the line...She cant have a stable job already, imagine having to also find one only at night, eh? Hm...What about...That group?" she asked, pointing towards a small group of Narrikans just mosting hanging out in a alley.
-
"excellent choice my lady. I'll join you this time..." he smiles sadisticly and follows her.
-
Harrisia however was far from a druggy. What she injected herself with actually detoxed her body instead of putting more junk inside of it. It would make her blood taste fresh and clean if they tried to get a bite of her.
-
...Of course, since they weren't psychic, they'd have no idea of this. "Normally I dont like feeding. But you always make it less of a hassle, you know that Church?" she said, as the approched the alley. Once there, she looked straight at one of them, into his eyes, as a slight, almost imperceptible purple fog goes between them, moving into his eyes. As it did, thinking would progressively get harder, and harder, until he'd simply obey the next command given to him.
-
The teenager felt the purple fog, he felt the magical signature of it anyway. Trying to reach for his galaxy phone he was going to attempt to call for a cop. The youth was a bit scared at the moment in time of the girl.
-
Church stood over her, silently watching. "reminds me of our first date" he chuckles at his joke. Church had noticed that he was reaching for something and quickly disposes of the G phone. He continues to observe...
-
With every second, it'd be harder to think for himself, to even move. She then asked him, finally,"Hi there. Would you please be a dear and...Restrain one of your friends? It'd be such a great help, and Im sure the girl down the block over there would think it was...Uh...Cool." She was mostly making it up as she went along, using phrases she was sure would hold his fleeting attention span. She hoped the part aboutthe girl would be the deal-closer, seeing as he probably was looking for a girl already.
-
The teenager went over and grabbed one of the weaker of his friends, that just so happened to be anemic and restrained him, dragging that friend over to victoria shade. "You really think so?"
-
Church examines both prospective meals. He nods to his friend in satisfaction... "This should ne enough." He knew that feeding wasn't her favorite thing, and using her vampiric charm took a toll. He did god best to try to relax the victims with his own vampiric charm as well as keeping Victoria focussed.
-
"Mm, who knows? Though if it does, you'd better hope she's nocturnal." She said, before in one fell motion both shoving the dragged kid to her vampiric friend and biting into the neck of the first, which while instantly breaking the spell, would cause him to soon black out from the blood loss. After drinking her fill, she dragged the body behind a couple trash cans. "Hm, he'll live...Though unless he's covered up, the sun'll incinerate him." She said, before finding a few newspapers and covering him with them. "Well, it'll kep out the sunlight, at least. What else is there to do, though...Well, it is a city, we might as well go out and take in the sights, hm?" She said towards her friend, her fangs returning to their normal size finally, which allowed her to(mostly) conceal them.
-
Church feeds as well... after they hid the body, he turns to her. "well this was a fun night." He smiles with sadistic pleasure. He sticks out his ARM as he looks up at the rising sun, "shall we?"
-
Harrisia had been watching from a distance. A simple voice amplification spell would allow her voice to reach the ears of the vampires. "I'll make you two vampires a deal. I won't spill and in exchange you do me a small favor. Turns out I need more of the detoxifier drug, and my supplier is reluctant to say the least unless I do a big job for him. But it would of course require three people to pull off successfully."
-
She hisses at the sun. "Ehh, this early already? Yeah, we need to find a place to crash, dont we..." She said, before the person asked them the question. "Huh? Uh, oh, Im sorry, but I have to be somewhere...Also, since te sun's oming up and it'll be warmer, I'mma need my jacket back so-"At this point she used a little bit of blood to fuel magic, teleporting it off the lady and into her hands,"-Thaaank you for returning my jacket! Now, if you'll excuse us, we need to get somewhere...Less bright. I need sleep."
-
He puts a hood up over Victoria, and himself. "move mortal." He walks past her. "dont worry my lady... there's a bar down the street. I rented one of the rooms upstairs." They walk off as he starts to yawn himself.
-
With that Harrisia held out her hand. Darkness would engulf the entire planet that would last twelve hours, a total eclipse spell. Something she had invented right on the spot that seemed incredibly useful in situations like this. Now they would be shielded from the sunlight, and would not require much to hide themselves in total darkness. Of course said spell would be very taxing on her to hold up.
"There. You wanted darkness. Now you have it. Eternal Shroud!" Harrisia enchanted the jacket at that moment that Victoria was wearing to shield both her and church from the sunlight, and to keep the safe from most conventional Narrikian weapons.
-
"Even if the sun's gone, Im still sleepy..." She said, thinking how if this were one of them animes back on Earth, she'd have a giant sweatdrop right about now. "I mean, seriously, its been a long night...Though I guess that did spare the trouble of trying to find our way through the sun."
Asfor the spell casted on the jacket, she used a bit of blood magic to break it. "And whatever you did...Please dont...I like my jacket being normal..."
-
Church walks off with her. "I swear... sometimes these beings make me feel normal." He smiles slightly.
-
Harrisia formed something and tossed it to Victoria. It was a g-phone, the latest version. "Call me if you need another spell like this. It will last 12 hours. Plenty of time for you to have rest among other things if you want to. Now to go find those youths, and try the de-toxifier on them."
-
She didn't catch it, seeing as she'd said she was leaving and never agreed to do any of that. "I can never figure out these newfangled gadgets anyways...Why do I feel old saying that? And yeah...They can get weird..."
-
Harrisia merely teleported it and instructions on how to use it into the pocket of the jacket that VIctoria did, but she did so with a mere wave so nothing would be suspected.
-
Church draws his gun on Harrisa. "Leave us alone.... now." His face turned very serious as his eyes went from gray to black. With that he holstered his gun and walks off with Victoria.
-
When they had left, she went over to the turned teens. Sighing as she did this she held out her hand and a small ball appeared in it, condensing to form a mini sun that released no heat. Only UV radiation, but a formfitting barrier had formed around her to protect her as she lobbed it at the youths, sighing as it killed them. "What a waste." With that she teleported away. There would be two less vampires to deal with.
-
Unfortunately, they weren't turned *yet*. As this was done just after the two vampires left, the virus was just starting to course through their system. But...Turning takes a full two days, at least. The UV radiation wouldn't harm them just yet, aside from giving them a sunburn at the time.
-
Harrisia teleported back, this time forming a ball of solar fire in her hands cushioned by a barrier. Sighing she lobbed it at both of them before they would have a chance to become full vampires. "Incinera." She commanded as the ball landed at their feet, the flames consuming the infected narrikians. Currently she had a lock on the signature of Victoria Shade, and Church. There was where she would go next, to deal with both of them and stop this problem and madness. So she teleported having done the work no soldier would do to save the people from vampirisim.
-
Unfortunately, her aim was altered by mot just two, but many sharp teeth digging into her shoulder. "You don't hurt my friends!" Fluffy thought to himself. He then proceeded to bark, happy about what he had done.
-
But it was too late, she had already burned them and left.
-
Unfortunately to the unfortunately, no godmoding was involved. The two vampires were not in fact dead, because the pooch had taken down the girl, and was laying on top of her.
-
(Dude, you are godmodding, see earlier posts. This topic is done before you had arrived. )
But what he was sitting on turned out to be nothing as she was gone already.
(Seriously, this topic is/was over a few posts ago)
-
OOC:Sorry Nik, he's right. This topic's been over, and besides, his character WAS already gone. The current one is Dusk. >.< Check the post dates if you want to be sure which topic is active.
-
OOC: So he killed both your characters outright, and you just go with it?
-
OOC:...Um...Thunder...He killed the people our characters bit. Our characters went into a hotel for the day or something along those lines in this topic.
