The StarClan knew that the Anrufe or someone similar might one day return to bite them and so they decided to make a space laser program in order to blast any enemies that try to move towards their planets so that they would be totally safe from the threat of invasion like the Anrufe tried and the K-Nox tried and the Relorians succeeded at.
