A ship arrived well outside the defenses of the world Duppin. It was the single lone corvette that had visited Lorei first and it sent a message.
Our captain needs to speak to someone in charge, immediately prefferably. It is a matter of urgency it seems as an old enemy of yours has returned Relorians. And this time they are stronger than they once were.
-
Archimand, instead of merely replying to the message, falls deeper into his meditation, tapping into his own Weave and locking onto the message's origin. By following its path, he's able to bypass the ship's shields and form an illusion just around the captain's body. Manipulating every piece of sensory input that enters his body, Archimand 'brings' the man to a large, grassy hilltop surrounded by endless forest. "Those who carry threats to us will not leave unscathed. What is it you wish to bring to my attention?" His voice calls out, echoing throughout the hilltop, though his body was unseen.
-
"It seems an old enemy or would it be friend of yours the Anrufe has grown stronger than ever.. Unfortunately they are back, and are making a path of conquest through the saeculum. It will not be long before they reach you emperor of the relorians, so I come baring a warning for you to up your defenses. All ready the Narrikians have raised the defcon level to defcon-2 and are preparing the ID gates to bring in reinforcements in case this turns ugly. Also they kind of sent me to ask you for permission to send a few hundred here to be safe. With all that is going on I can't blame Ken for assigning me to this duty at the moment. " The captain of the ship wore a uniform that did not much look like that of a leader but looked instead like a low ranking captain of a fleet. But he also looked weary at the moment in time, extremely so. 3 days alone had been spent on the journey from Lorei to Duppin and he would have a while more to go warning every empire he could to up their defenses.
-
The fog at the edge of the clearing shifts, seeming to curl in a smirk. "Ah yes, the Anrufe, a group I have been wishing to speak to since my return to this dimension. Your information intrigues me. What else do you know about this?"
-
The captain looked around surveying the enviroment and trying to locate the one he was speaking to. Failing to do that he looked around and finally saw the fog's 'smirk' if it could indeed be called a smirk. Realizing that more information was wanted the captain sighed. Later the black guard would be mad at him for this, but really to keep the relorians safe from the Anrufe he had no choice. So he said out loud. "Well there is also the matter of a rogue AI that seems to want to join them. Oh and the fact they have hit our worlds twice already. So do I have your permission to contact the fleet and tell them this world will allow us to send some of our civilians here for the time being so that they will be safer?"
-
"I'm afraid not. We've hardly enough space here for ourselves, nevermind harboring refugees. And if they have hit your worlds twice, it means you're an easy target. Why don't you endeavor to change that fact?" He says, the smirk disappearing just as quickly as it had formed.
-
The captain. "We are working on that. And if need be will provide you the means to leave this dimension like we have planned if the attacks persist. Also from a CI report they have a clone of Hikaru but she seems not to possess Phoenix abilities or anything of that nature. We are not sure how they got the clone of Hikaru, but it is something worth investigating. Things are getting very far out of hand. "
-
He laughs at the man's suggestion. "You'll help us leave the dimension? Boy we hold the skill to leave Existence behind, but we will not run. We will stand tall and proud against our foes and fight for our survival. We have had enough running. Flee if you will, but we shall stand our ground. The Anrufe, the Aralangs, even the Embodiments, we flee for no one. Perhaps if you linger long enough you will get to witness our power."
-
"Leave existence behind? Could you please explain that to me?" The captain was curious. If the Relorians could make the Anrufe naught but a bad dream then perhaps he might be able to obtain some of their vast power and turn it on the Anrufe as well wiping them out, this time for good. He knows Ken wouldn't have it any other way than the Anrufe obliterated.
-
"It is exactly as I said. We can leave material existence entirely, retreat to a bastion of power unseen in this dimension for many, many years where even the arrogant, vaunted Aralangs cannot break us. Now go home, lest there's something more you have to say." He says, the fog slowly encroaching on the Captain. If the fog touches any part of his body, the illusion ends and he finds himself back aboard his ship.
-
After the fog touched him one more transmission, with a file on research on the grunder glassing beam and the Ai delta was sent to the relorians in hopes they would be prepared to handle said threat. The corvette then departed back to Duerme where it would be refitted.
-
The transmission was accepted by a computer system with no access to Relorian networks, and was quarantined until a threat scan was completed. Satisfied, they analyzed the data and forwarded the bits on the AI construct Delta through numerous relays in both planes, encrypting the data to the point where its recognition as data or random anomalies was questionable. Against this much encryption, even the Aralangs with their supercomputers would have trouble deciphering it should they intercept it on its way to the Azrael.
