Machination - Basic
In appearance normal Machinations are uncannily human. However not enough so to fool any human into thinking they are human. Thus giving them a disconcerting and unsettling appearance. Like living dolls they go about their tasks without rest or thought. These machination are robotic in nature, however there are differences. For starters, all Machinations have ?Breach of life? a vapor running through a circulatory system that powers and controls their mechanical bodies.
These beings are a sentient technology that almost constitutes its own race. Ruling over the Dyson sphere colony of Nu-Jericho. The Machinations research and control a large human population unaware of their influence. Each Machinations has a defined purpose and job roles. Maintaining the Dyson sphere, the E.A.D.C programs, and the production of military hardware.
Machinations programmed goal is the perfection of humanity and the elimination of all competitors for their future human utopia. They are programmed to believe that Machinations are the rightful Sheppard of humanity.
Machination - Infantry Class
These monstrosities act as the main infantry force of the Machination military. Having 4 arms, split, tripod legs, and hands from their necks. Holding short blades in their lower arms, and an assault rifle in the top arms. Additionally the neck-hands hold pistol weapons. When deployed they will eliminate anything not identified as Machination. Their grotesque appearance gives them the feel of soldier mannequins
Shaman Class Machinations can possess these from great distances, giving a metaphorical talon to increase his strike range, allowing the Shaman to attack without risk to itself and to cast his spells from the Infantry units position.
Machination - Shaman Class
A Shaman Class Machination is a human Shaman whose magic potential has been cultivated by E.A.D.Cs and then harvested and transmuted into a cyborgian Machination whose purpose is a military magician.
The memories of their human form are erased. Commanding their cultivated power, Shaman Class machination?s both maintain the whole of the E.A.D.C infrastructure and the military might of the Machination.
The process of turning a human into a Machination is akin to a embalming a live person, all their vital systems and organs are remove from their flesh in such a fashion that it does not kill them. Then ?Breath of life? is pumped through their veins as one by one each organ in on the baroscopic level replaces with mechanical systems. The brain is the last thing to undergo this excruciating process.
The Harvested human is conscious for the entire duration.
In the end you have a Shaman who can still perform their Art, while being a complete machination. As long as the eradication of human memories is successful they follow the Hive?s Directives.
Machination - Goliath Class
Every once in awhile a human is born to a Nu-Jericho tribe who grows at an astonishing rate, reaching 12 feet tall by the end of their 20th terrestrial year. Considered a blessing to the tribe these Giants are wisped away by the ?Spirits?. In reality, the Machination Hive takes them to be transmuted into a weapons platform.
For all intents of purposes these Machination once humans produced through Watcher Class manipulation act as tanks for the Machination military. Twenty feet tall after being fully equipped these Machination only purpose is to great devastation where ever they are deployed.
Fully armored and equipped Goliath class Machination have Rail-gun mounted in front of them, using their man to stabilize the weapon and absorb the back kick of the weapon. The Rail-gun itself in study enough to be used as a bludgeon without harm to the weapon itself.
Normally four Goliath classes are deployed with twenty infantry classes and a Shaman class. This making the normal Squad arrangement for the Machination Hive military.
Machination -Rebel Shaman Class
Unknown to the Machination is a sub-set of Shamans who retained their human memories and created the Morning Star virus. With the purpose of destroying Nu-Jericho and freeing their human brothering in death.
Working with the Machination Hive, a Rebel Shaman Class must never be discovered, if one were to be confirmed, a Civil war within Nu-Jerico?s Machination is a foregone conclusion.
Due to keeping their human memories, the Rebels are traumatized by the transmutation process.
Ethereal Artificial Daimonic Constructs - E.A.D.C
E.A.D.C are technological programs that appear to be Pseudo-Ethereal, as in they have no corporeal form. Except Illusionary forms shown to those who they appear to. These reside mainly on Nu-Jericho as a control of the experimental primitive Shaman cultures. Masquerading as Gods and Ancestral Spirits Depending on the class, they control these societies by instructing their religious leaders through covenants and contracts.
Also depending on their Class these constructs use the Shaman?s own existence to cause effects in the world around them. From a simple fire ball, to miraculous healing. However, this is because the E.A.D.Cs act as efficient energy converters to use the Shaman?s own power to affect the corporeal realm, while claiming it as their own.
E.A.D.C - Watcher Class
Watcher Class constructs act as overseers of breeding on Nu-Jericho. Every Shaman contracts one as a qualification to perform Marriage Ceremonies. Giving serious advise to the Shaman as to who should marry whom in a tribe. While also using the Shaman?s energy to heal and maintain the sick and wounded in the tribe, all healing arts on Nu-Jericho are done through the Watcher Class. However, also acting as the catalyst of the Machination?s eugenics program, can auto-abort pregnancies found to be unviable or the embryo shows signs of sickness, without the Shaman?s Knowledge. The Watcher Class, also manipulated the genetics of those around the Shaman for various purposes. However, the goal is to eliminate sickness and increase survivability of the machination?s Humans.
Also, every so often the Watcher Class will cause an embryo to be a ?Giant? a human to be instructed for service to the Machination?s military. Thus the Watcher are also necessary to maintain the Goliath program.
E.A.D.C Enoch Class
Enoch Class?s purpose is to the civic control of the human society on Nu-Jericho. Each Shaman has contacted a Enoch class as a qualification to arbitrate justice and command warriors within the Shaman?s tribe. The Enoch class advises the Shaman on all matters of social politic in his tribe and with other tribes.
However, they are also the research platform for the Machination military weaponry and magic. So they also orchestrate and control the warring between tribes. Using the Shaman?s own power. The Enoch class can manifest the shaman latent magical power, or use the Shaman?s energy to control the adrenaline levels of his tribe.
Also, the Enoch class is the main recruitment tool for Machination reconstruction of shamans, those Shamans who show true promise are wiped of all memories and employed in the Machination military after reconstruction.
E.A.D.C - Lemegeton Class
Seventy Two Ethereal Artificial intelligences which instruct
The Primitive Shaman cultures in Nu-Jericho in the darker side of their instinctual
Natures. They were once from other Classes of E.A.D.Cs however, their program corrupted through contract with the Morning-Star virus. Additionally they act to pervert and corrupt the mind and existence of those who deal with them. These beings are known to Nu-Jericho cultures as demons and tempters. In most of the Nu-Jericho societies It is considered a mortal sin for anyone to contract these Constructs.
They cannot effect the corporeal realm without the aid of a Shaman who has contacted the construct, thus pledging an amount of their Spirit energy to the being.
The Lemegeton Class E.A.D.Cs feed on Sprit energy and produce and manipulate Saraton energy. However, this energy must be expended, so an the E.A.D.C will manifest effects around the contracting Fell Shaman causing ruin to all around the contractor.
In time the Construct will grow bored of the contractor and will drain all of their spirit energy, causing them to explosively disappear from a release of Saraton energy.
Rebel Shaman?s hope that eventually these Saraton producing E.A.D.Cs will destroy Nu-Jericho.
