In the Zarethian Capital building's legislation chamber, The Senate, and the General Assembly gather for the session coupled with a few military leaders. The large room was decorated with beautiful artwork, and designs. On one side, the lesser, but larger Assembly sat. on the other, the smaller , but more powerful Senate sat. They were coupled with a small section for planetary and colonial governors to seperate the 2 sections. All around were Zarethian flags, and armed gaurds. On the stand, a platform was positioned. It contained a stage, a lower seat for the Assembly Leader, one above it and to teh right for the Senate Leader, and several seats for the council (Should they choose to attend) above the 2.
The room was filled with noise from the politicians. A loud commanding voice spoke, and quieted the large crowd. "All Rise! Senate Leader Alexandere Decadea, ladies and gentlemen." Alexandere walked across the stage, and up to the podium. "Ehm. Assemblymen and women, and senators. Can we get this session started?", he silently sighs. The room sits and Decadea waits to continue. "Alright... I am pleased to announce that the Zarethian Imperial Navy will recieve 3 Titans from teh Narikian Military. In an effort to restore diplomatic peace. These majestic ships are to be apart of the 3rd fleet commanded by our recently appointed Fleet Admiral, Aki Sora." he looks for her in the crowd for a moment, but fails to do so. These meeting were quite large. He briefly looks down at his ISAF rank pin and bacdk up to the crowd.
Z-SPAN cameras were trained on him waiting for him to talk. He takes another deep breath and looks through his stack of papers. "Alright, i'll leave the floor open to anyone." He turns and takes his seat at the Platform.
-
Addler vas Vacon, the Admiral of the Fleet was watching from the table at the center of the circular room. He was looking at Senator Decadae intently, the wheels of his mind churning. Another senator stepped up to the plate and spoke. "I believe, Senator Decadae, that the titans should be transferred to the different fleets. Recently almost all of the new resources have been put into the Third Fleet. We need to spread the resources around. A titan per fleet with one left to defend Tefillin." He said politely.
-
He looks around the room to gauge a reaction from the Zarethian leaders. "True, but that is also because of the importance of the third fleet. The Defense of Teffilin and Starania are quite important, but i digress." He looks towards the Admiral of the Fleet (Six Star rank.)(or High Admiral, what ever it is) Vacon, and then towards the Assembly Leader. "Anyone second the movement?", another Senator stands. "I second the Motion". Decadea Sighs.
"Movement to transfer titans to the respective fleets, granted. All in favor and all opposed.", Results came back very shortly. "Motion passed. Admiral Vacon, please assisgn the titans as you see fit sir.", he shuffles through his papers again.
-
*Er, his full title is Addler vas Vacon, Supreme Admiral of the Zarethian Empire and All Her Navies; Supreme Military Commander of the Zarethian Empire and Avatar of The Council.*
Addler nodded his head in agreement with the proposals. His eyes shifted from person to person in the room, waiting for them to speak. They seemed to be afraid of him for some reason. Maybe it was just his power as the Avatar of the Council. He mentally shrugged. He didn't care what they thought.
"There have been talks in some places of a grand alliance between us and the Mechera." Another senator started. 'I vote to approve this transaction and have the treaty sent to them for review."
-
"Anyone second?", Decadea announces. An Assemblyman stood. "I second sir!" Decadea nods, "All members please cast to approve this motion.", results came soon. "Motion granted. Treaty will be drafted..."
Although Alexandere wasn't a Zarethian, he had made quite a name for himself as an excellent politician. It made him a bit discouraged sometimes, that he probably wouldn't get any further advancement within the government, but as far as he was concerned he had made it good. "Ahem... next order of business. I have received multiple complains from several civilian and military sectors about a lot of illegal activity from narikian immigrants and some of their active duty personal. On behalf of the Zarethian Senate, I would extremely advise the government to look into this problem."
-
"What would you advise, Senator?" Another senator asked, curiously.
-
"Due to the recent events, the unlawful espionage, I would suggest that the military launch an investigation to see if these are in any way connected events, or the work of the terrorist cell, the Black Guard."
-
"I would vote for it. A second?" A senator asked. Almost immediately a young senator popped up and seconded.
-
A hologram appeared on the screens of every device in the room. The hologram looked like a Zarethian, like Alexandere to be exact.
You don't know who I am. But I know who you all are. Here is my ultimatum to the Zarethian Government. Abandon use of all AM based products, including drugs and other suppressors of that variety. You have three days. Don't even bother tracing, this message cannot be traced. Once the hologram said those words, it disappeared and it was true it could not be traced as it was routed through a hundred different proxies, and a zarethian communications tower.
-
The room went into immediate frenzy. It was a little redundant to make the hologram appear as the senate leader for he was already in the room. He quickly restored order, and proceeded. "This is obviously the cowardly work of the black guard. Not surprising though... they lack the honor and bravery to confront us, so be not afraid people... these are hollow threats. Moving on. Motion for investigation passed. please cast your votes."
this time the votes came at a record breaking speed. 99.9 % for. "Motion granted... Admiral, please direct the investigation as you see fit." he flip through some more paper... "Ah, next! The movement for the extradition of Lt Commander Carl to the Zarethian military for immediate court marshal."
-
"I'm not familiar with this one, Senator. Would you please indulge me?" The Admiral asked.
-
"Lt commander Carl Doros, was a narikian officer that was involved in the espionage attempt on the Zarethian people. Fleet Admiral Sora had issued warrants for his and his associates arrest. They were the Supreme Commander of the Mechera-Narikian military had previously promised to send them to us after they are dealt with in their own courts. I move to send our formal request to extradite him to us for a military court marshal."
-
"I don't see anything wrong with that." Addler said, nodding. Several other senators nodded and passed the vote.
-
Decadea nods in approval as teh vote is passed. "Next topic... The Lordship of New Dementia, a utopia in another demention, wishes to become an ally of the mighty Zarethian Empire."
-
"Might you inform us more of these... Demenia's?" Addler asked.
-
"The Demented, are an old ISAF protectoriate... They are still under a fuedel lordship system, and are a very peaceful utopian society. They are led by Countess Mikami, and reside in the demention of New Dementia. I personally think that theyd make a valuable LLY."
-
Holograms filled the room suddenly. Holograms of men in hooded cloaks had filled the area. But they began to speak in indistinct voices. Data began to stream into the room, Data which displayed a threat and a message in one. The data and the holograms were unable to be traced due to being put through so many encryptions and other defenses that it would be impossible for even a skilled hacker to get it.
The Old BG is no more. Now you are facing a new more competent one. Oh and our threat wasn't an idle one by the way senators. Put it to a vote how many lives you want to lose due to your own stubbornness of not abandoning AM. After the holograms had relayed those messages, they all faded from existence.
-
But since it had happened before, Data streams were cut off before they appeared. Their threat wouldnt get through.
-
"Well, considering that we need all the resources we have at our disposal.... I would have this approved." Said Addler. Several senators complied and voted for it.
-
"Alright, unless anyone else has anything to cover, this meeting will be dismissed shortly."
-
"I've got something," a voice from somewhere in the back spoke up.
It was Green Zero, a mere boy, dressed in Zarethian clothing. His green hair made him particuarly stand out in the room, if being a kid didn't already do the job. Here he was among senate leaders and the general assembly. On his forehead, he bore a mark which made him different from the people he'd lived among over the last week or so.. A green "0", painted bright for all to see.
"If I could have the floor."
-
OOC: Oh shi- Sorry, I forgot we even had a topic together, K2.
Addler put his fingers together, his interest piqued. "If you would let him speak, Senator."
-
Decadea waves him up.
-
Green Zero walked to the front of the room with the manor of someone who was not a mere boy, but a confident man. He looked out upon his audience, the Zarethians, and smiled at them.
"My friends. I've been among you for some days now. In that time, I have carried out my mission, as assigned to me by my leaders, and I have found that my initial warning to you is ever too present. Your people are at risk. I come offering you all a solution. Who here has heard of Galactic Online?"
-
"You mean that Internet company?", one assemblyman stands and says.
-
"Yes," Green Zero replied, "But they are more than an internet provider.. They have a security force at their side which could help find this threat and eliminate it."
-
"But what is this threat?" One asked.
-
"Are you referring to the Black Guard?", a governor says.
-
A man in a black suit appeared, not a business suit, but an suit of armor. Locust class to be exact. The Lorcar DNA in the armor activated as a voice filled the minds of each and every man and woman in the room. The Thanatos was in deep, deep orbit. Using it's atomic vibration unit it was effectively invisible to nearly all forms of sensors.
I am a representative from the Coalition. We are terribly sorry if we are interrupting something. But we feel that there is a topic that requires the Senates attention.
Suddenly an image of the Library under attack, images of Green Zero, of Zere, of Chaos, of members of the Anrufe. Their deeds played out before the entirety of senate as each recorded act of terrorism, mass murder, and villainy was revealed.
The Anrufe, while now in the control of multiple planets, is still considered a dangerous terrorist group by intergalactic law. Wanted for terrorism, crimes against sentient species, slavery, unlawful uses of magic, kidnapping, extortion, assault, attempted murder, murder, rape, sexual assault, destruction of celestial bodies, genocides, xenocides, and multiple cases of theft. That young man there is a recorded member of the Anrufe, Green Zero, illusionist. The Coalition forces in deep orbit are requesting the expressed permission of the Senate to apprehend this criminal.
-
Addler vas Vacon stood up in his seat as an uproar came upon the whole of the senate. Gave one look at the man in armor, nodded in acknowledgement, and in the interest of keeping the Coalition happy (they were allies of the Mechera and soon allies of the new alliance between the Zarethians and the Mechera so he needed them not pissed at him). "I, Addler vas Vacon, give you permission to extract this individual as you see fit."
He was barely heard over the chaos.
-
The room arises in an uproar... "Turn him into the INTERPOL!", a group of politicians say.
-
"The organization known as Interpol is not equipped properly to deal with a criminal such as Green Zero." A blond man in a lab outfit announced as he appeared in a beaming process, raising his closed hand he opens it with a blast of gray. Trillions of nanites were released into the, programed to incapacitated Green Zero's biosignature. Each was coated in a layer of Nilgaitt, which would render Green Zero more then likely harmless.
-
Green Zero was quick to activate a personal barrier on his person, not from any magic but from science. The nanites would be repelled the moment they got near him, the heat of the barrier and the pressure of its atmosphere both burning and crushing said nanites. He yelled out over the uproar, "Ladies and gentlemen of the senate, hear my plea!"
He paused, looking out at everyone present as the crowd began to die down. "Yes, I was a member of the Anrufe.. Over ten years ago. I have paid for my crimes in the depths of hell. I have since renounced the Anrufe. I now seek to purge groups like the Anrufe from existence."
He looked over to the representative. "I can not be apprehended or tried in a court of law. I have already paid for my crimes. I was executed by Zharael."
-
"Silence!", decadea yells out. Most of the room goes silent... "Green Zero. The Coalition is making vast claims against you. Do you have any kind of evidence of your plea?", the INTERPOL VC/Senate Leader looks at him sternly.
-
"Green Zero's claims of an execution are as false as his changed heart. He wasn't executed, he used a self-destruction spell that reforms him into a black hole, seeking to destroy an entire populated world then be captured. The efforts made by the anti-terror group Zharael were the only thing that stopped him. You were never tried and punished for your crimes, suicide is not a court.? The blond man replied as the Locust operative activated the Lorcar DNA, attempting to force unconsciousness onto the boy.
-
"Admiral, please postpone this capture for a second" he turns to the Rep. "Do you have any proof?"
-
"We have recovered video, and other sensory data from the planet of origin. Even worse it was a planet devoted to recreation and was entirely neutral in the galactic community. Along with hundreds of witness accounts.? The blond man announced, producing a holofile that expanded into a holographic account of the battle between Zharael and Green Zero.
-
The barrier around Green Zero displaced the Lorcar effects and protected his mind and body as he watched the events of so long ago. As he watched himself, a tear came to his eye. He saw.. Evil. He saw the hate that had been in his eyes so long ago. He saw himself.. Trying to make Koty feel that same hate -- the hate that Green Zero had only always known. He watched as love and kindness prevailed over that hate, and as, in the end, he purged his own life.
"Yes.. I remember now," he said, sobbing, "I did it. I was a killer. A murderer. A coward. All I can give you now is my word that I am no longer a member of the Anrufe, and that I, in fact, want to repent for my sins.. But I see now that not even bringing down the Anrufe can make up for that which I did so long ago.. I am guilty, but I will not run as my family would. I will accept my punishment for my crimes."
He turned to the Zarethian senate once more. "But before I go, I must be honest with you all. While I am not apart of the Anrufe any longer, and while I honestly do want to see justice, I have lied to you all about one thing. My orders did not come from some peace-keeping group.. They came from right here within your walls. The threat which you must all face is from some of those among you.."
He turned back to the Coalition representatives and lowered his barrier. The moment his barrier was lowered, however, an energy-type beam laser hit Green Zero from somewhere within the crowd of politicians, and Green fell to the ground in a state of shock. The shooter quickly escaped in the outcry that followed.
Green Zero glanced up to the Senate and weakly pronounced, "Do not trust.. The Sages."
He fell unconscious.
-
There was indeed a large amount of outrcy. Chaos spread once more, as several senators tried to escape and in their cowardice and haste jammed the doors shut.
Addler vas Vacon strode forward, touched slightly by the man's story but his face hard. He looked over the body of the man, felt his pulse and knew he was alive. He worked his magic, healing what he could as he pondered the man's words.
-
"Admiral please!", Decadea beckons.
-
The admiral looked back at him for a moment. "Hold on, dear senator." He said standing up and as more senators and their aides rushed past him. He looked up at the Coalition ambassador. "What will you do with him?" He asked curiously.
-
"He'll be tried for his crimes, if the verdict is guilty he will be placed in an ultra-max prison. There his body will be infused with Nilgaitt, nanites capable of killing him at a moments notice, and finally his soul organ would be surgically removed. And this might be the best time to introduce myself, I am Matry Idoson, Chairman of the Coalition..I'm kinda the guy in charge." Matry announced as he turned to the Locust operative and nodded slightly, the man disappeared as he went into hot pursuit of the attacker in the crowd. Moving at nearly unseen speeds.
"Oaf, please beam down a GRASS security team along with medics and two additional Locust operatives, inform the Locusts that they are to help Colonel Summers track down the assailant." Matry communicated into a QEB.
-
Decadea kneeled down to Green. He was convinced of Zero's claim of change, for he was a former terrorist who had a change of heart himself. "Dont worry kid... " he looks back up to the Coalition Chairman,"I hereby, under the power intrusted in me by the mighty Zarethian government, as the Senate Leader place this man under political asylum until we can figure this situation out."
-
"You misunderstand the situation Senator, asking for permission was a formality. A sign of mutual respect between our two respective empires, yet..we cannot allow for Green Zero to remain free, and we will take certain actions..to ensure his capture." The nanites began to spread across the room, slowly infecting every single member of the Zarethian Senate. So far nearly sixty percent had been infected.
"We'll comprise of course. If you give us Zero, we'll deactivate nanites that have infected your Senate, which can lead to fatal complications if left..unchecked." Matry informed to the entire senate around him, he wasn't playing around here. They were going to leave with Zero.
-
He was furious now... "Chairman, what you are doing is an act of war! If you believe in the good that you preach, you will deactivate them. These are innocent men and women... how are you any better than this man?"
-
The one responsible for the attack on Mr. Zero's life had left the capital building, into the crowd of Zarethians. His magic signature was cloaked, and he wore black clothing and a mask, standard for certain.. black-op missions.. The people on the street just gave the man a curious look as he passed.
However; any man or woman who looked at him found themselves suddenly very drowsy. People began to pass out, asleep, in the city streets. Chaos ensued as people driving small, personal ships and vehicles crashed, and people fell asleep at their work stations. The man in black kept running, several displacement fields and barriers around him now to protect his mind, body, and spirit..
He set off down the street down from the capital, known as Vas Fuerchenan Road.
Whoever this man was.. He'd received training.
-
"Locust team six, we have a continuous stream of abnormal activity in the area surrounding the senate. We're now estimating the targets direction, speed, and destination. Revised orders are being sent now." The operatives aboard the Thanatos relayed through the untraceable QEB technology.
"I believe in the greater good sir, Green Zero has caused COUNTLESS deaths. His capture is more important then a few of your people, more important then a few of my people, then any people. I will not allow for politics to get in the way, we have no intention of bringing any harm to your citizens or your officials. If you interfere you will be potentially be causing many future xenocides." Matry retorted, looking the Senator in the eyes.
"You ten minutes to decide, is a stranger who's killed more people then the population of this world more important then your Senators?" Matry questioned before he was beamed aboard the cloaked Thanatos.
-
"You have no right to come into my Senate and demand anything of me. This man is under political asylum! He has already payed his debt by dying! Deactivate them now!", the Chairman could see the fire in his eyes.
Adm. Sora leaned over to The High Admiral. "Admiral! This is madness! If you wont do something, i will."
"This is OUR planet... These are OUR people.... and YOU WILL obey our Laws. You have NO Rights other than the ones we grant you... If you are willing to kill our entire government, than YOU sir are the monster. YOU deserve death. And YOU are no better than him. Cease and desist IMMEDIATELY!!!! or face action. If one of my senators dies, all people of the empire will call out for war, my dear Chairman.", Decadea says as he advances towards him.
-
A hologram appeared, of Matry.
"Paid it by dying? Sir, he committed suicide using a spell that would've caused the deaths of trillions of innocent men, women, and children. He died at his own hands, he doesn't deserve forgiveness for being a kamikaze. As for your laws, your traditions, and your people? Your LAWS mean nothing to me, your TRADITIONS are foreign and mean nothing to me. As for your people, they are people and I feel for them. People, innocent people are why we do this. In the last few years we have captured Blue Zero, the child's father, routed both Zere and Chaos multiple times as they attempted to conquer or kill. And yet you now stand here trying to harbor a member of this dimensions most wanted criminal organization? Just because he said he had a change of heart? I've never met such a foolish man. And go ahead, if you wish to bring about war, then so be it. We are the most technologically advanced empire in this plane of existence, we have held back the Lorcar, we have rendered a Relorian planet naught but gray goo, we went toe-to-toe with the Aralangs, and not even they could destroy us. Yet you? A Zarethian Senator mentions war? You would not survive such an attempt, in fact, we could've destroyed this very planet without you even knowing we were here." Matry snarled as his holographic form walked straight towards the Senator and looked him in the eyes.
"You are not our equals, not in magic, not in technology, nor in numbers. You would be wise to understand this Senator, we have no wish for war, needless death is not our way. Let us take the boy, and we'll be on our way."
-
He steps back towards Green... "If you will not respect our wishes," he teleports Green away, "I will not respect yours..." His eyes narrow. "You come onto our planet. You insult us... and you have the audacity to think that we will respect you? hear you? No... Leave Teffillin NOW! We try to remain a peaceful people... Leave before we stop.", his words were bitter and sharp. "Fleet Admiral, please show them to their ships so that they may leave."
Sora steps forward... "Gentlemen... its time that you leave."
-
OOC: Everyone in the senate cannot use magic, they're infected with Nilgaitt, which renders magic use impossible.
-
OOC- you stated 60% Deacdea isnt infected...
-
OOC: Sixty percent and rising, and Deacdea was at the 'epicenter" right near Green Zero when the swarm was unleashed. He would've been infected quickly. Not to mention that the swarm was released into the air, it would be like filling the room with an AM field. Although a bit more tricky to get rid of and counter.
-
OOC- Decadea is on the stage on a far wall at the podium. Plus, you never stated that it was rising.
-
In a brilliant display of light, Jay and Ken Atlas -- or rather, Nek Atlas -- appeared. Nek was astonished to see the chaos that was occurring here. He glanced towards the senate, and then at Matry. The Narrkarian was slightly confused.
"Zarethian senate, I come seeking your help.. In destroying the Anrufe."
Meanwhile, the assassin kept traveling, the Coalition troops falling more and more behind. A maze of doorways into various pocket dimensions began to present itself, disguised as part of the city. One wrong step into what seemed and felt like a coffee shop or sidewalk could result in the soldiers ending up trapped.
-
OOC: Oh, thought it was down with Green Zero, and sure it was rising, do you really think an infection would just stop after infecting a certain number of people? Hell, it's contagious it replicates using the hosts own cells as resources.
-
OOC- Green was on the stage. None the less...
He sighs with frustration. "De-activate them first... As soon as you do, i will tell you where he is."
-
Jay fell to the ground, coughing quite heavily. "Y-Yeah sorry man just...Gimme a second to....Go back to normal..." He spluttered out, he had a lot of trouble getting used to using his powers again.
-
OOC: Doesn't really matter, the air around Zero was laced with nanites, the nilgaitt that they were formed of would've prevented the teleportation.
And for the sake of laziness, let's say that recent arrivals teleported far enough away from the nanites.
"How ironic, three people show up to help with the destruction of the Anrufe, while you harbor one of their most powerful members.." Matry's hologram chuckled to itself.
-
OOC- For laziness!
"De-active them chairman, and you may claim your prize...", Decadea was a man of his word.
-
Jay pulled himself to his feet, once more straightening his hat. He looked around the area he seemed to be in. "So uhm... Nek? Where exactly are we dude?" He muttered to Nek, unsure exactly of what was going on.
-
"One of its members? Here? Who?" Nek asked, astonished. "I have been held by the Anrufe for some time now.. I.. Oh, that's right. None of you know who I am. I.. This body.. I'm not who you think I am. I'm a clone of Ken Atlas."
He looked down at Jay, concerned. "Your power.. It's.. Ancient.. We're at the Zarethian capital. I knew a session was to be held today. I heard some Anrufe members talking about making contact with some group on this planet today."
-
"Thank you Senator." Matry nodded his head slightly as a show of respect before Zero was beamed aboard the Thanatos, quickly strapped down, injected with sedatives, and surrounded by AM fields and Nilgaitt. He'd be on constant guard by a team of three Locust operatives, each probing his mind periodically to make sure he wasn't going to try anything.
"Green Zero, child of the late Blue Zero."
-
"Like I said bro...You wouldn't believe me if I told you where i'd been." Jay chuckled, looking at the people around him "I'm mostly just here to watch, guys." He announced to the room, he could sense some unrest.
-
"The nanites chairman..."
-
"Don't you mean Red Zero?" Nek asked curiously, "Red Zero's her name, not Green Zero."
-
"Already deactivated Senator, they're already being metabolized by anyone infected. Any outside a host will have self-destructed already. And no, Green Zero, her bother. He was dead for a while." Matry informed as his hologram turned to look at Nek curiously.
-
"...Man Nek when you said we were gonna beat up some bad guys I was expecting something more exciting." Jay muttered to Nek, laughing a little.
-
"Thank-you, Chairman... IF you would be so kind as to depart, I would like to end this session. These men and women would like to go to their families.", he turns to Nek and the Templar after finally noticing them after all of the Chaos. "Oh, jesus... Who in the hell are you?!?"
-
"The one I presume to be Nek seems to be Narrikan..the other one is of unknown origin. Interesting, if you two wish to talk a more..active enemy of the Anrufe, I shall ask you to come with me." Matry announced as he looked at the two.
-
"No," Nek replied, "There must be a mistake. I did hear about a brother of Ms. Zero.. But.... He's an enemy of the Anrufe. He works for.. Why, he works for one of the Sage Three!"
Nek was about to reply to Jay when..
At that time, the room began to shake violently. With a brilliant flash of blue, a hologram of K2323 of the Sage Three appeared, an angry look on his face. However; when he saw Matry, his face relaxed. "Matry! I believe we met once before? Remember me, I hope! I didn't know the Archive were here."
He looked over towards the Zarethian senate. "One of you Zarethians have taken someone under my command.. And that will not be tolerated."
-
"You, shut up... I tried to defend him.", he points at K2, and looks back over to marty. "Why are all of these people arriving! Goddamnit!"
-
"...You know, where I come from i'm trained to keep track of goddamned weird stuff but this is just confusing." Jay sighed, trying to keep track of what in the blue hell was going on in this room. He knew of the Sage Three, that's for sure but he didnt understand much else going on.
-
"Actually K2, it was my forces that took Green Zero into custody." Matry said as he waved at the Sage.
-
K2323 blinked. "Well, that's surprising.. What is your reasoning, I must ask."
He turned towards Jay and Nek, looking them over studiously. "You there! With the confused look on your face! You're.. You're Asura, aren't you? You look quite different," he joked.
-
"I've not once met Lady Asura. Name's Jay." Jay laughed nervously, he'd not once met K2 but he had heard stories of his great power.
-
"For the crimes committed as a member of the organization Anrufe, he'll be given a fair trial." Matry replied as a holographic image of Green Zero appeared next to him, unconscious and strapped down.
-
"Matry, he was a kid then," K2323 replied, "You can't honestly mean to take this to trial."
-
Jay nudged Nek and mumbled to him "Look man...This is all getting kinda confusing. I'm gonna find you at another point in time and I still owe you one dude." He laughed, dissipating in a flash of light.
-
"And? He was a full-fledged member. His age when he was an active member of the organization is irrelevant." Matry replied as the hologram of Zero disappeared. ?There needs to be law in this universe, the idea that the sage three and their henchman are immune from the law, is ridiculous. Do not be surprised, if you find us coming for you. Your sister, your brother, your son, your father, and anyone else who has abused their vast power. Judgment day is nearing, and I?ll be the one judging.? Matry announced, the hologram cutting off as the Thanatos opened a wormhole in deep orbit, flying through.
-
OOC: Oh come on! I was gone fro three days and suddenly everyone and their mother is on Tefilin and in my senate! Jeez...
Addler was still a wee bit angry at this intrusion in his senate. He was angry about the threats of the Coalition whom he respected. However, this was a little much. However, there was nothing he could do about it at the moment.
He looked to K232, or at least his hologram. "Why is it that you appear, angry at us for our right to take hold of a suspected terrorist but then you let the people who actually took the subject go away without any sign of reprimand? Are we that below you, Sage?" he asked through gritted teeth.
-
"Admiral, there is no use in arguing... the Coalition is no better than the Anrufe, and neither are the Sage Three. Session dismissed.", he bangs something on the podium. "Control, put up Anti fields and cut datastreams." A few seconds later, the hologram disappeared. Decadea walks past the 2 Admirals with his head down.
-
"Senator!" Addler called as he was walked past."Senator I will not have this empire entangled in another war because of some politics. I will not risk the lives of my serviceman in order to fulfil some political agenda of anyone in the Zarethian Empire, her allies, nor even those who boast power over us. We must, if at all possible, maintain peace with these groups and give them no more reason to attack us then a bandit to attack his fellows. We have recently gotten settled in peace and our citizens deserve this peace." He told him, eyes hard.
-
A transmission would reach the council. It was heavily encrypted and secured with a dozen different methods of security, sent by Will Atlas, the son of Ken.
How much would you pay for Marco Stone?
-
The transmission simply went to the storage archives due to the occurring crisis.
-
"Peace? Peace!?!", his voice grows louder. "This is not peace! This Coalition is just some rouge organization with a delirious 'greater good' persona. I will not stand by while this happens. They threatened to murder our entire government for a single child! Take a look Admirals! Do you see any boarders from up here? and what is peace!" he shakes his head. "Never think that at any time that you have seen more, experienced more, or known more than me... I'm not just some politician oblivious to the military side of things..."
-
"Senator do you wish war? Do you wish to see thousands die because of this incident? I hate what the Coalition just did but they are the remnants of an organization far more powerful than we realize! We do not know what they are capable of and I personally do not wish to find out."
-
"Yes, you do," K2323 corrected Addler, approaching the arguing two. "You damn well want to find out, sir. You want to fight them. That's your obligation, under your rank. That man, Matry, was right about one thing. We need some law in thiis universe.. But I'lll be damned if it comes from the Coalition. A man just came onto your foreign soil, infected half your government, threatened you with war, took one of MY operatives from political asylum here, and left."
He looked at the two with a fire in his eyes. "If we want law in this world, we must fight for it. I represent the K Empire, based on the planet of Earth.. And I would like to bestow my gratitude from my people to yours for listening to my agent's words here today and trying to defend him. I hope that our two nations will become good friends."
Nek, meanwhile, was silent. He had come here today expecting to speak with the Zarethian senate about taking action against the Anrufe. He hadn't expected what came next. He just sat there, astonished. How could anyone simply waltz in, take someone unjustly, and leave? It was.. Outrageous.
-
A mental pulse would reach the mind of Nek.
Come to Citadel. We need to meet my copy. For we have much to discuss. For once I need your help.
-
"Really? Do you have any power that we could use? If you want to stop these madmen from what they're doing, do you have to authoritative power to fight them? I've heard stories of their technology. That they use suns to power their ships! How can we possibly hope to defeat them? We would have to call in every ally we have in order to fight them...." He said, pacing back and forth. "The only formal allies we have are the Mechera.... The Aralangs are all but lost... The Ferrai are gone... I will not spend my resources without help." He said, turning to face the Sage.
-
"You say you need help. But lengths would you go to get it?" asked a man in a black cloak who had suddenly walked into the room, just literally walked. Actually more or less order warped in here. The infiltrator unit was programmed to deliver a message.
"I can provide you weapons, resources and technologies senators. And I ask only 2 things in return. 1 is that you drop all charges against Carl Dolos effective immediately. The 2nd is that you abandon the use of any grunder industries products effective immediately."
-
"And who might you be?" Addler asked angrily, there were too many interruptions today for his taste. Too many strangers wishing to deal.
-
"An android with a proposition. My creator cannot personally be here as he is dealing with one of your other problems, that of the Black Guard. But he sent me in his stead. His name is Ezra Tan, and he is an alchemist that will assist you for a few things. Mainly drop warrants, and bounties and deny the ones out for Carl Dolos currently and that will suffice as payment." said the infiltrator android.
-
"Why do you want these warrants dropped?" Addler asked him suspiciously. "We cannot just accept help from anyone at this time.... We need more information."
-
"Simply put..." The infiltrator held out his hand and a warp opened, out falling a document that the BG had sent to all their operatives that Carl was now to be killed on sight. "Don't ask how my creator got this. But if the BG wants him dead Ezra thinks he is worthy of being let alive. Plus he sort of owed Rezick who is dead now, and that is why I am making you this offer. My first new weapon for you is a membrane phase torpedo, if you are interested. But of course before I show you what it can do I would need proof you keep your end of the deal of course."
-
Addler picked up the paper. "You could have forged this. There is no proof that he is no longer BG. We deal with our own problems. Bring us real proof... Bring him here so that we can read him and make sure he is no longer with them.... Then we can talk."
He turned back to the hologram of the sage.
-
"He is currently somewhere safe. And if you want even more proof. " He pulled out a transmitter that held a single transmission that would be impossible to forge from the black guard. "Mercenaries, Bounty Hunters and criminal scum we want you to eliminate Carl Dolos. 500 million credits to the one, or group that manages to do so within a year's time. "
The infiltrator then looked at Addler. "Lower your AM field. So I may do as you say, and bring him here. Or as close to him as you are going to be able to get with him being so scared."
-
"Sir," came a voice from the door of the senate floor. It was Eric Mann (npcing for now), director of the Zarethian Hand. "Sorry to intrude. I just heard what happened, and I rushed over. I managed to catch a good part of your conversation with Mr. Tyris -"
"Ah, you know of me," K2323 perked up.
"Yes," Eric Mann affirmed, bowing slightly. "I am Eric Mann, head of the intelligence group known as the Zarethian Hand. Sirs," he began. He bowed slightly before the Senator as well. "Senator," he continued, "Admiral, Mr. Tyris.. There is one solution. While the Zarethians may not be able to defend ourselves as is.. We should give what the boy -- Green Zero -- said serious consideration."
He took out a device which showed a holorecording of the senate meeting. It showed Green Zero's initial speech to the senate.
-
Admiral Sora spoke up to the Infiltrator. "Tell him to turn himself in... he is wanted by the State."
Decadea chimed in, "Director! So glad to see you, how Assistant Director Hermitage?"
-
"Good, good," the director noted. "He's taking a bit of personal time this week. His wife's expecting, you know. How's your family, Senator?"
-
"Sorry... Not to interrupt," Addler began doing exactly that. "But why do you say that we need to pay attention, Mann?" He asked.
-
"He said," Mann explained, "Something about that company. GOL. We could use their help," he informed Addler.
-
"Which was why I was trying to prevent his capture.", Decadea said bitterly.
"How can we be sure that they actually can or even want to?", Sora responded.
-
"Gol... You mean the people who make the Galactic Times? Don't they have a space station somewhere near here?" One senatorial guard piped up.
Addler nodded. "We could contact them and see what they know. We can't do anything about Green Zero at the moment but we need to find out what our goal is here. Do we gather allies and plan an attack? Do we destroy the Black Guard?" He asked.
-
"Field trip!" the illusion of K2323 piped up, "Wish I could come, but I'm sort of in the middle of something," he said, his hologram flickering for a moment. "Best of luck to you all. We will be in contact. You have the support in whatever you decide to do, of my empire."
His image faded.
"Not much for words, is he?" Eric Mann spoke up, a bit grumpy. "But he's right. We do need to visit them.. Who knows what resources they may have."
-
Decadea sighed... He was tired. "Director, go to them and take Aki with you... Im going home. I've been dealing with bullshit all day", he said walking towards the door.
-
Addler nodded as these things took place. "Guard?" He asked of the man behind him. "Please escort the senator home." The guard nodded and followed Decadea out.
"Director... Please do what you can with GOL. I want this Coalition ousted before they cause any more trouble."
-
"Right," Mann affirmed before turning to Aki (assuming she's in the room). "Your grace, we can leave at your ready."
-
Sora nods. "Lets get going Director."
-
OOC: We will make the new topic when I get back from vacation.

OOC: Fiiiiiiiine.
