Title: The Pirate
Post by: @Pokemon Master Red on May 22, 2011, 10:10:01 PM
The Pirate
(No one knows her by her real name, just her title)
I cant really say I have a image for her, but she looks like a Mermaid, like all Water Elementals, and she wears a cream-colored blouse with a brown, unbuttoned overcoat over that. Her hair is brown, and she wears a crimson bandanna over her scalp, with the rest of the hair simply flowing out of it, and her eyes are bloodred in color. Her tail is adorned with rings, as well.
Age:
She's lived for a long time, possibly around 5000 years, though she doesn't count.
 Gender:
Female
Race:
Water Elemental
Place Of Birth:
In the seas of Elmora...
OCCUPATION:
She be a Pirate, obviously. XD
 Personality:
The Pirate, as one might think, is a greedy person. Countless times, she has killed people just to get another treasure, or even for the possibility of getting one. This isn't to say she is ruled by avarice, and she can be a rather good ally in her own right. However, she's still an ally to watch closely, as she's obviously not above backstabbing. She's usually loyal to her crew, as long as they're loyal to her, but if the situation calls for it, she'll use them to her own ends as well.

She's quite rude and crass, and is definitely not the kind of person you'd invite for polite company. She's not usually nice even to her friends, whatever ones she may have, and is downright mean to those she doesn't know more often than not. In truth, she has nothing against naval forces dedicated to protecting civilian vessels in oceans, however, she still wont shed a tear after killing the lot of them.

Alliance:
Herself, and her crew.
Biography:
The Pirate was born in the seas of Elmora, like almost Water Elementals, and has lived there fr pretty much her entire life. From a young age, however, she was on her own, because her parents lived in poverty and couldn't afford to pay her much attention(as opposed to trying to get money to eat, that is). Since her parents couldn't ever seem to raise the money they needed, she thought it must be because they always made sure that she was the one who was able to eat, and, not wanting her parents to suffer hunger and poverty because of her, she ran away. It wasn't a easy life, begging to get enough money to eat, but she'd gotten some easy breaks every now and again, which is why she's still here today. During her childhood, she got caught up in a gang, and as she grew older, her magic power grew with her. In the gang, she learned to be less kind, and to steal, to fight, and then...To kill.
Eventually, when she was around 18 or so, the group turned from a gang to band of full-fledged pirates, and they set out marauding the ships that had back then sailed Elmora's waters. The first was a trading vessel, going from Earth to Divine. The Pirate and her friends boarded the vessel out of nowhere, using surprise as their best weapon. Once they were on board, they took out their weapons, and went at it. While it was a merchant vessel, their prey wasn't unarmed. They took out bows, short swords, and a few had lances, and then charged the pirates attacking their ship. When the arrows came, the Pirate threw up a barrier of water, freezing it when the arrows hit it, flipped it, then sent the wall of ice shattering back at them along with their arrows. A spear went for her, which she deflected with a sabre she used at the time. She cut into the man's neck with her sword, then pulled it free as another one came at her with a greatsword and at the same time using magic to pound her with a boulder. She parried the greatsword and, using magic, she threw up a barrier of ice to stop the boulder. One of the other pirates finished off the Earth who tried cutting her in half with a broadsword, and she slithered(thats about as close as I can think that a mermaid would be able to most about on land...) to another Earth Elemental, this one she stabbed from behind. She was then set upon from the side by another Earth, this one with two short swords, which she blocked one strike after the other. When it was obvious this wouldn't work out for a long while, she froze his feet to the deck of the ship. When he tried moving forward, and looked down when he realized he couldn't, she moved in for the kill, slicing a large gash in his chest. She slithered more forward, and once the majority of the Earth Elementals were dead or dying, the captain walked out of his quarters. He looked down upon all of the pirates with a look of what might be indifference, as though they were nothing compared to him. In his hand was a ornate gold and silver trident, and walked down to them, spearing one of them before he could even start a attack.

They rushed him while he tried removing the poor pirate from his trident, to which he responded by beating them with the body of the other one he'd speared. One of the marauders froze one of his feet, while another lashed at him with a whip of water. He was able to break the ice covering his foot off with the trident, but the whip still managed to get him good, right across the face. The Pirate slithered up behind him, while he was fending off another's blade, and she stabbed him from behind with her sabre, twisting the blade as well, and then taking the blade out of his back as well as his lance from his hand. She sheathed her sabre, and held the lance aloft, over her shoulder, as the others, after watching what she did, went off to check the ship for valuables. After that, they kept the ship, considering they'd need somewhere to put everything and to live(they all had their own places, so to speak, but nothing so good as the ship they'd just taken). Since she was the one who'd actually dispatched the captain, she was given the Captain's room.

 Weapons: Magic Level:
The Pirate is the strongest Water Elemental alive, being the Elder of Water. As such, her power is extreme, but only with Water Magic, no other kind. Considering the gap of power between her and even other Water Elementals, she is sometimes seen as a incarnation of the seas themselves, though its not true.

Fears:
Interests:

 Aspirations:
At least three aspirations are required.
ORIENTATION:
Straight, though she's never really taken much of an interest in anyone at all.
RELATIONSHIP/MARITIAL STATUS:
Single
OTHER:
Just a note, but I've been using her(and the other Elders of Elmora) up 'til now as NPCs, and I just thought I'd want to use her outside Elmora, so yeah.

(Continuing the Bio in this post 'cause Im on the DS now, everything else's finished)

They had many other adventures, such as one time, at a tavern, they'd heard of a treasure sitting at the bottom of a ocean they'd not explored by then. They sailed their ship to the ocean(best advantage to having a ship for a home is its very mobile), and dived into the seas, swimming rapidly to the bottom. once they reached it, and were reasonably sure they'd found the right place, they looked more specifically. One of them found a sunken ship, but before he could get into it, a shadow descended upon him as a massive leg hit the seafloor. The ship has been next to a massive cave, and the leg, obviously that of a crustation, had come out of the darkness made by that cave, as a claw reached out of the gloom, big enough to have been the thing that dragged the ship down. Now, normally just this would've sent a Water Elemental screaming-most know to avoid Abyss Crabs like the plague, and they were tiny compared to this thing-but the Pirate and her crew instead stayed. They did draw back a bit, in order to draw the massive red crab out. It took the bait, scuttling out and almost trashing the ship as well, before reaching with its smaller claw to try and grab one of them. They all swam out of its way, before trying to attack its arm, with sabres, cutlasses, spears, the Pirate even had her trident, but it all bounced off the monster's carapace. They tried going after the creatures body, but that, too, was protected by a carapace, even the face as well, unlike most crabs. After that failed and it then tried to swat them out of the water with its bigger claw, which they all but one unfortunate plunderer with a cutlass dodged(the poor sod was ground into paste by the force of the claw onto the ocean floor), the Pirate got a idea. She led the remaining pirates to the creature's joints, where on the inside part it was softer and easier to attack. Still, the creature didn't stay...

...still, meaning they'd have to chase the segment of flesh down in order to hack and slash it open. They still did some damage, especially when the Pirate stabbed her triden into the fleshy bit, allowing her to keep working at the same spot. Eventually they broke past that soft bit, where they attacked the muscle, the nerves, hacking away at the tissure of the beast. As its claw went limp, it retreated back into the safety of the cave. While it was gone, they raided the ship, crecking it for treasure. There was a little gold, and a small but still good amount of silver, but the real value was in the quantity of iron aboard the ship. They took it back and sold it, making a lot of money.

As she went on these countless adventures, her power continuously grew in strength, at a quite abnormal rate. As her power grew, she surpassed many masters of Water magic on the planet of Elmora, until finally she met her predecessor-The Captain, the old Elder of Water. The Captain was a rather kindly man, who captained his own ship, despite all his power with Water magic. And his ship had been targetted by the Pirate. Like the Earth's ship, they also boarded this one, climbing up the boat's stern and starboard to reach the top deck. Once they did, they immediately set upon the rew, using little Water Magic(most Water Magic would be naated anyway, since these were Water Elementals too). The Pirate did use many spells, though, sometimes using her magic to bleed the blood from another sailor through his skin, then coiled his blood around another and strangling him with it. The Captain came out, shouting about what was going on, before realizing it was a pirate raid. The Pirate instantly slithered up for him, jabbing with her trident. He didn't use any weapon, instead just blasting her with Water spells. Each time, she beat him at his own game, every time stopping it before it hit. Eventually, she ran him through on the trident, killing hm. Instantly, the remaining sailers looked...

...with a mixture of fear and amazement at the display, before running in terror. She had just killed the Elder of Water, a feat bascally impossible unless she was his successor. And so, in the weeks which followed, she was recognized as the next Elder of Water, and met the other Elders. She never really made good impressions with any of them, usually trying to kill or rob then, except with the Alchemist who was the Elder of Light. It was she who suggested the Pirate's title, and who made it true. The Alchemist was truly the closest friend the Pirate ever had by then, and she was always grateful for that.

Years passed, the Alchemist discovered one recipe for the Elixer of Life(which she shared with the other Elders; Elementals are long-lived, but not normally unaging and undying). Zane came to help with the problem of Pedalos at the time. And then...

A fog rose on the high seas, and a mighty vessel emerged, the word 'Pillager' marked across it's back. The ship attacked her first crew's ship, something she didn't apreciate. She alone boarded this ship, her old friends inable to help out on this one due to injuries from the attack. Turns out, she didn't ned 'em, it was deserted. Except...The Captain's Room door opened, and out walked a man. The ship's entire crew. They exchanged words before the Pirate slithered for him when she told him her titled, and he simply laughed. He got his guard up, but she was fast, and she managed to get up to the higher platform the Captain's room was at before he could stop her at the stairs. She stabbed with the triden, but he either parried or deflected it, with a massive cutlass-like sword. She then tried to slash at him with the trident, distracting him from a whip of water. He dodged the first, but not the second. And then a nearby rope didn't twist around her tail and hang her upside down, controlled by the man. The man pondered how much he'd get for a mermaid, before she stabbed him in the gut-he'd thought she wouldn't...

...anything while hanging up there. While he writhed in pain, she twisted the trident slowly, before pulling him up in the air and throwing him off the trident, so he'd bleed to death. She noticed the rope let her free, and slithered to him. He chuckled, mused that he shouldn't have underestimated the mermaid, and gave her the sword with a single passing advice-That they who posses the Blade of Plunder, more than simply posses the Pillager, they ARE the Pillager. She didn't know what he meant, but accepted the sword and ship, throwing him overboard. When she held the Blade of Plunder, she found she knew how to use some of its magic-the ability to travel to any ocean in the universe, and knowing how valuable the ship was, docked it at a cove only she knew of-Her home.
She now is looking to put together a crew, learn of more seas and oceans across the galaxy to traverse, and become a powerful Pirate, more than she is, of course.

(Aaaand finally done. Yaaaaay."
