Title: ATTENTION XP USERS

Do yourselves a favor and make sure your security programs are functioning correctly and are up to date. I just had a fake antivirus program called XP Internet Security 2011 slip through MBAM and Spybot. Thinking Dad installed it, thinking it was an actual, legit software.

No, but in his defense, unless you actually research it, it looks entirely legit except for the speed at which it scans. We had a good 60 gigs on that 75 gig hard drive, finished a scan in about two minutes. Everything looked completely legit, UI, text, everything.

As I said, he intentionally installed it, probly was looking for an AV package.
