Title: A Day To Remember (Eli)
Post by: Ino on May 23, 2011, 06:31:16 PM
Soft ivory colored skin, chocolate colored hair, a soft, permanent smile on his lips. These all could be used to describe the entity named Eli but the one that stuck out the most were his eyes; violet, the same color as his brother though brighter and more caring. It was scary for angels to look into them and see their other half, Koty's, and know that deep down the brothers were the same. The main difference was that Eli cared ten times more than Koty probably every could and even if their care was equal it was Eli who showed it.

This is why Eli was, basically, crying. He was crying because he was in hell but the reason behind why he was even there was something unknown to anyone on the outside. The general place that Eli was usually revolted him but he had to see for himself what lurked here; and what lurked here, of course, brought him to tears.

All the people who had sinned, had fallen out of belief because he was never there for them, the people who were just plain evil and cruel all lingered here. His creations, the sole reason why he was even alive today. His "children" so to speak. Sure, not all of them were in hell, the amount that were surprised him to tears. How could he allow this to happen? Maybe Koty was right, he was an illfit father. A disgrace, just as his brother was. But his brother took these poor souls in because Eli had walked out on them, abandoned them.

I'm tired so let me be broken,
Look down at the mess that's in front of me,
No other words need be spoken,
And I've got nobody else to blame,
Though I've tried,
Kept all if my past mistakes down inside
I'll live with regret for my whole life.

What had he done?

The arrival of an Embodiment such as Eli would not go unnoticed by those seeking them. A robed figure, garbed in a silver robe bearing the sigils of both the Diviae and the Sons of Plunder, seems to materialize out of the shadows nearby. "Welcome to this place, Creation. We have been seeking you."

Weary purple eyes gazed over at the two newcomers, his skin prickling a bit as he looked at the two. He wasn't quite sure who they were but he had a feeling that he would know them quite well soon enough. The question was, would it be in a negative or positive way? Deciding to make it as cheerful as he could at the moment he turned to them. "And why is that?" he asked, though not in a harsh and mean way, more of a calm and sincerely curious way. Eli really did want to know why they had been looking for him and if he had really been that hard to find the last few months.

"For now, just to speak. Beyond that, we cannot yet say. You are Eli, Embodiment of Creation, one of the first crafted by the Perfect oh so long ago. Are you not?" He asks, stepping towards the Embodiment as a lock of long, blonde hair falls out from the hood. "We are taking it upon ourselves to Judge the Embodiments, who seem to consider themselves above Judgement. Will you cooperate?"

Eli's eyes widened for barely a second before a soft smile played on his lips. "Yeah, I'll cooperate." Eli said softly, which wasn't hard because he was very soft spoken most of the time. Eli was also very curious as to what was going to happen, too. "And yes, I am the Embodiment of Creation."

"Why the petty game between you and your brother? Why cast him out? Why not listen and consider his opinion?" The blonde asks, walking right up to Eli as if he was an equal. He waves a hand, a golden magical flourish wafting out from his fingertips as a sheet of stone rises up, fragmenting into sand before melting into glass.

"Because with him, everything is destructive. That's what he...represents. Destruction. That's probably all he will ever be capable of." Eli mumbled though there was a little bit of doubt in his violet eyes. Only a sliver. "He doesn't know what he wants half the time it seems and when he finds out what he wants, does he go for it? Not usually...and even when he gets it...he tends to lose it not long after." Eli looked at the blond apprehensively.

The robed man laughs, as if at a joke. "He may be the Embodiment of Destruction, but let me enlighten you of something. When mortals create something, what must they do to the raw materials?"

"You must destroy it..remove it form it's current form and mold it anew." A suave voice said aloud from not far off, a man with pale skin, very long black hair, and a classy suit walked towards the two. "You scold him for his nature, he is ever inconsistent as the sea, Destruction is closer to Change then any other Embodiment in Existence. You should know that, Creation." Sakael, Grand-General of the Underworld smirked calmly towards the God he had rebelled from.

Eli gazed at Sakael with mild care; after all he had fallen from him, from Eli's faith. He cared, oh indeed he did, but how could one care excessively when the person rebelled against you? Sure, for some this meant to hold them closer but to Eli it seriously meant back off. That might have been a bad move, on his part, but not everyone was perfect. Eli, admittingly so, was far from it. "Destruction is actually to remove something, not to really change it. If it changes it, then it is damaged. No?"

"Destruction isn't barred to all or nothing." Sakael replied, a grin on his face as he realized, that Creation, didn't know everything.

Feeling the thoughts run from Sakael Eli just laughed quietly and shrugged it off. Not everyone was perfect and Sakael himself didn't know everything. "You say that now, though you have no idea. The actual definition itself is barred, though personal interpretations are entirely different." Eli had another thought cross his mind. "And neither is creation." Eli said, his eyes looking down ward. "Making your own choice is, in itself, a creation. You just don't know it yet." Eli stated, matter of factly, as he looked at his fallen. "You would know about that, wouldn't you?" Eli said, his eyes flashing just slightly.

The robed man laughs, shaking his head at them both. "You are both right, yet both wrong. Destruction and Creation are not inherently all or nothing, but may seem so if the user lacks control. Truly, Eli, do you believe you hold the control, both over your own power and over yourself, to adequately fulfill your purpose? And you, Sakael, need to remember that, regardless of your former position in Hell, you too are naught but a mortal, no less able to fall than myself. So cage once more your grin."

"I don't control what has free will. After all, I gave that to them." Eli said as he looked at the robed person. "Though, like any human being, whether mortal or immortal, I hold the key to my future. I choose what happens and be as it may right now I can make things happen the way I want them to...if I try hard enough." Eli blinked, glanced at Sakael very carefully, then looked at the robed man in the darkened hood. "Is that what you mean or did I misunderstand you?"

"Mortal you say? I'm a fallen angel, even in my..disgraced form I am immortal. Rather insulting actually." Sakael muttered as he looked at the hooded man, before turning to Eli as he talked about how HE gave them free will. Sakael was old, and he had always been trusted. Even more so then Lucifer at times, but despite all that he was intelligent, he had slowly figured out the true nature of the Harbinger a long time ago.

"Do not take all the credit for free will. You got the easy part."

"Will you too stop trying to pretend you're God? We're not among the living.. There's no point in the act here."

None other than the embodiment of Decay, otherwise known as Molihik, appeared in the new South, where Erebus had once been. He appeared in what people had thought of as hell.. where one who led people to believe that he was Lucifer ruled. Where "Radical" had ruled. Molihik was slightly amused.

"Son of plunder, you are, in fact, the wisest here.. Though even you would be wise not to imply that there is, in fact, order in your actions.. There. Is. No. Order. Only chaos. Only anarchy. Only.. Plex. You should know that."

He stared at Eli and Sakael now, his eyes gleaming with some interest.

"Sakael.. Surely, you must realize by now, that the one you called Lucifer is something.. different. Something not even you can understand. And yet, you still insist that the way of the past remains the way of the present. Do you not see clearly?"

He looked at Eli now. "For surely, Creation, you too know that we are in a bubble, pretending that we are all that exists.. But I have not come, at last, to talk of these things.. I have come to wrap up a present issue. The war among the embodiments.. It's about to end. Son of Plunder, will you dare continue your mission?"

"Sometimes the past needs to be talked of," Asura's voice said before Asura herself appeared, in her true form, and staff in hand. She sat atop a high pointed rock of Hell and looked down on them, her onyx-black eyes on every one of the Embodiments as well as the Fallen Angel, before she glanced to the Son of Plunder. "If you did, maybe you wouldn't have people such as these ones asking you such questions, did you ever stop to think of that?" Asura closed her eyes and disappeared, reappearing back to stand by the rest of the group.

"Why even the mortals are beginning to discover the truth. They know of our creators, the Perfect and they know that there is more than just Creation and Destruction to rule. Ones such as the Solstici have even traveled outside of the entirety of existence, a place even us Embodiments have no power over. Not to mention what happened here in Hell its self to reveal our dear Radical's origins. And still you keep up this charade? We embodiments cannot hide the truth forever." Asura glanced back to the Son of Plunder. "And this War is the very proof of that."
Title: Re: A Day To Remember (Eli)
Post by: Nisorin on June 09, 2011, 04:17:05 AM
He glances at the staff, standing out amongst the rest of the Embodiments. "Why hide the truth, Mistress Time? You and yours were created for a purpose. Given life, spirit and personality for a reason. The blood of so many fallen lies upon your hands because of this secret, and if you continue to hide the truth, existence itself may be threatened. It is your duty, all of you, to protect Existence. Yet you feud amongst yourselves, proving to the Sons that many of you are not fit for your titles and powers." He counters, looking over to Asura before turning to face Molihik. "There is order, Embodiment. Plex is but a weapon crafted by those who felt threatened by your kind, nothing more. A weapon that can be dismantled, destroyed, disarmed. The war was pointless, instigated because Eli and Koty couldn't get along, nor could you all be bothered to do something about it. Now it seems as if we mortals will have to clean your mess. It's because of this, we Sons have decided that the Judgement is needed if Existence is to continue on beyond the end of this war."

"Heh, gotten quite arrogant over the years haven't they? How many messes have the Embodiments had to clean up due to mortal stupidity? They are not perfect, but they're a lot closer to it then mortals are." Sakael shrugged as he chuckled at the son, a grin on his face.

"Oh, it will continue," Molihik announced, "But not with the current order of things. It will continue under Plex.. For you see, Plex is not a simple weapon.. It. Is. Alive. And it's angry.. Rightfully so. Destruction and Creation have led for far too long. How is that working out for you, Son Of Plunder?"

"We don't have control over everything." Eli stated, flatly, no emotions present in his face. Was it really fair for everyone, every single embodiment, to come along and gang up on him, and maybe even Sakael, simply because he had actually been caught in the open and in Hell? Did they not really realize why he had even bothered to go to Hell? Not because he was being nosy or looking to start a fight but instead to think about what he had done. Eli knew that by not stepping in, he had caused a lot of problems in the mortal world, just as Sakael said. Sure he was Creation but he had created the life itself. And who was Molihik to say that he wasn't God? It was about the only arrogant thing Eli had surely emitted, right? After all he had done he did have some ounce of that title, even with his failures. Just like his brother was just the same as the devil himself. The only difference was that the two of them actually walked among the earth instead of sitting on their asses.

Eli stayed farthest from the rest even though he had been confronted by at least four of the people currently present here. All he wanted was to have a little grieving time in hell and this is what he got - ganged up on by Sakael, two people he didn't even know of, Asura, and Molihik. Really? Simply because he came public? Along with staying farthest and rarely saying anything unless he himself was spoken to he also showed barely any emotion. He showed some when he looked at Sakael because at one point, Sakael was on his side and he was saddened by the change of that. Now, however, he was encountered by people he wasn't really sure of. There were a lot of emotions rolling under his skin, however, as he looked around their little "group".

Alaskarine shimmered next to where Eli stood though a little farther away so as not to startle him or intrude on his comfort zone. She was here to mainly watch though not in curiosity but to make sure people like Eli, with his bottled emotions, didn't burst. And she was there simply because she wanted to be and she was the Embodiment of emotions as well and this was an..emotional issue.

Skye had been observing for some time, simply waiting until Asura had appeared and chosen what appeared to be a side Yes! It's about time sis Space smiled as she faded out of her little hidey hole that she was in and appeared to meld into existence right next to Eli, arms folded and grinning seemingly mischievously "Oh come on guys. Eli's doing the best he can as our fearless leader" She said, almost seductively as if to get a rise out of Asura and those seemingly trying to persecute Eli; She had to admit that she did like Eli, even if she would have taken the other side if Asura were defending Creation.

Verrtsi turns to face Molihik, finally throwing off his hood. "If it lives, it must eventually come to die. Just like each and every one of you. That is the single inevitable, irrefutable truth of this world. Even you, Creation, cannot avoid Death forever. A fact I am sure you, milady Asura, know well. Now, we do not presume that all of you have abandoned your duties, nor that all of you have abused your powers. For some it is more obvious than others. But all will be Judged nonetheless. Those Judged poorly will be asked to step down, if you decline your life will be taken. Now, if I may have some privacy with Creation, I can get this done and over with, and we can all go back to our business."

"You hellboys can judge me when you ask me nicely" Space shot a dark look at Verrtsi, she wanted to have some fun but...Oh well. She was about to fade out to find something else to do before she remembered; She did actually have something she needed to ask Asura about.
"Time. I have to talk to you in private." There wasn't often that Skye would refer to Asura by what she embodied, it was usually whenever there was either something important to discuss.

"The secret was at the time, necessary," Asura spoke only to the Son of Plunder, and ignored the arrogance of Sakael, the constant praising to Plex of Decay, and the rantings of Eli. The Embodiment war was of no concern to her as Time had stayed neutral thus far and would continue to do so. But the secrets of the past on the other hand was an entirely different matter. "For Creation and Destruction to be seen as gods was only for the benefit of the mortals," she continued.

"At that time, mortal-kind would have been unable to comprehend such a conception of there being more to existence then what they were ruled by. It was to be only when they were ready that the truth be revealed. But now, we Embodiments have been foolish. We have waited too long and our leaders have become arrogant in their ways. The mortals have discovered the truth for themselves and created this living abomination we refer to as Plex." Asura now spoke to the rest of her kind, but more to Eli than the others.

"I will take no side, as Time does not, I only to remind you that it is because of you Creation, and your brother Destruction, that this has come to pass. Because you kept this secret to the point that the mortals took your arrogance for danger, and came to fear you. Now will you wait here and let the Sons of Plunder, self-proclaimed representatives of the mortals judge you? Or will you prove yourselves by fixing that which your arrogance and pride has brought you?"

When Skye had appeared, Asura merely signaled for her to wait, until the 'meeting,' had adjourned.

"You know that is a point" Skye uttered, ashamed of herself for dropping her amazing facade of constantly antagonizing Time but hey, sometimes one needed to be serious "What are we going to do about Plex? It seems to somewhat want to kill us all."
Title: Re: A Day To Remember (Eli)

"Only those who do not serve it," Molihik replied, "Because those who do not serve it only serve to help the very arrogance we discuss here now. You all assume Plex is bad.. That it's evil. You fail to see that it is doing what it was designed to do.. It is the judge that these Sons Of Plunder claim to be. It is the judge and the executioner.. And it's about to be judgement day."

He turned to the sons of Plunder. "If you all insist on your judging, listen to reason.. Help us fight. Help us end the corruption of the old order."

Verrtsi looks to Asura, listening as she explained her kin. "At the time, perhaps, but mortalkind has been capable of understanding this secret for centuries, if not millenia. As Time, I would think you would be in charge of knowing when to hide, and when to reveal the truth. Your neutrality is admirable, and not something most of the other Embodiments could handle, as your records have proven. However, this Plex threatens even your existence, if Molihik is to be believed. That is a direct threat towards your existence, is it not?" He counters, before turning swiftly to face Molihik, the robe swinging outward a bit.

"You would end the old order's corruption by outright destroying it. That is not the way! Much of the old order has worked for this long, and can still continue to work in the future. The order does not require destruction, but renovation. Plex' path is not what is best for existence, and you know this just as well as I do. You are simply too afraid to stand against him, aren't you? We are not. We will stand against him, even if we must do so alone. And, alone or with the aid of the Embodiments, we will destroy Plex, and trample any who get in our way. Choose wisely, Molihik, lest you find yourself needing a successor sooner than you expected."

"Oh, believe me," Molihik replied, "My successor is named.."

He smiled and began to walk away, a dark cloud of corruption surrounding him.

"And what exactly should I do?" Eli asked, a bit harsher than what he intended it to be and his eyes made his words fiercer. "I gave mortals free will, free choice...they can do whatever they please. Why should I take that away?" Eli looked at Sakael though barely before focusing on each and every person there, looking them right in the eyes. He felt calmer now that Alaskarine was there though she had remained quiet and didn't seem to want to talk as she listened to what they each said. "Let me remind you that when I decided to give the humans free will I had people lose faith in me. Yes, it would have been better had I kept the free will concept hidden, but then it would ruin...it would ruin the idea of a human." Eli looked down at the ground, staring at his feet. "I'm not a mind reader, I'm the Embodiment of Creation so you can't expect me to "know" what to do and "do" it...you can't expect that from me. Just because I'm an Embodiment doesn't mean I'm any better than the rest of living creatures." Eli spat that last bit out in response to Asura saying that the Embodiments were getting "arrogant"; no, he wasn't saying it to her but the mere idea of him being grouped with them and the fact that that's all his brother was about - the cocky arrogance that fatigued the world. "You should keep an open mind because it's healthier for you and it's safer."

Alaskarine could get a general feel on how the group was and well she didn't like it. They were stressed and she could feel the tight coil of anger in Eli's body and the feeling of, well, Judgement, being brought upon the atmosphere of their conversation. Alaskarine herself was an Embodiment though she had yet to even be addressed or talked to, especially about being judged.

Eli obliged to the judgment. "I don't have anything to hide. I accept the fact that I failed in some cases and yes those cases were risky and dangerous. But I accept the fact that I didn't do all I could in my power to prevent things and I feel guilty for it. If I could change it, take it all back, I would. If there's something I can do now that would change it, I would." Eli looked at Verrtsi. with a very serious gaze. Alaskarine could literally feel the guilt so strongly that she herself felt as if she was guilty of something.

I don't like this. That thought consistently ran through Skye's head "The fact is that Plex is coming." Skye placed a hand on Eli's shoulder, trying to stop him stepping forward "And we're all sitting in Hell debating who's fault it is. None of us need Judgement" She spat that towards the Sons "What we need is to come up with a plan to defeat Plex." Space sighed "Creation, perhaps you have messed up in the past but haven't we all? There isn't a single entity living right now that is perfect. Not even you." She again looked towards the Sons.

One could simply agree to this for the simple fact that it was true - there really was no such thing as perfection in humans, and really they couldn't come close to it because anything can give you a flaw and opinions aren't all the same. Eli simply nodded as he too looked at the Sons of Plunder. He could be judged, if it was needed, but he already laid everything he had against him on the table. He really did regret what he did and didn't do and if he had to be judged to prove it then so be it.

As Eli finished speaking, Verrtsi's eyes took a golden glint to them as he stared directly into Eli's own eyes. A few moments after everyone had fallen quiet, he bows to the Embodiment of Creation and offers his hand. "You have been Judged, Creation. You have willingly admitted to your crimes, shown the remorse required of a being in your position, and so we ask for your aid in the coming War. Where once you fought to shield your creations from your brother, now we ask that you fight alongside us to shield your brother from Plex. I would like you to be the shield to our sword."

"Shield him from Plex?" Eli asked, his violet eyes wide. Did he mean, as if maybe, Plex was searching for Koty? Or...maybe he meant that Koty was searching for Plex. Either way, the two did not mix very well. "I accept." Eli said, bowing his head in return to Verrtsi.

Suddenly, Skye's eyes widened. She felt the huge wave of negativity throughout her whole domain, through all of Space. "Can we put the bureaucracy aside?" She muttered to the group overall "We have a problem." She seemed deftly serious, she was feeling the negativity of the whole universe as it corrupted all of her domain.

"Plex is of no concern. If I die, so be it, the power will pass to my successor and if they die, their successor. If one of us should fail to provide a successor, it will exist without one.  Time does not need an embodiment to exist. Time has existed before even the Perfect, back to the  first beginning. And it will continue on for eternity until the very end." Asura had stood quiet throughout the rest of the discussion and then took the liberty at the end to answer Verrtsi.

"For that reason, I will stay neutral. Unless Time its self is att-" Asura paused for a second, "Which it seems to have been." She bowed her head slightly and grasped her staff,  "We will have to continue this at another time, Son of Plunder. It seems Plex has gone after the outer domain of Time." With a flick of her staff Asura was gone.

"Now what?" Eli asked, his voice soft and his eyes full of worry. He was looking all around him at the lost souls that danced aorund, the tortured beings that lost faith in him. The people that died not by his hand but by his lack of one. The beings who fell away. Eli had come here to grieve over his failures but then he was...well...bombarded by guests that suddenly had an interest in him. So now he waited, patiently, for any clues as to what he should do.

Verrtsi shakes his head at Time, sighing. "One would think she would have known of this threat. She holds all of Time in her domain, past, present and future. This is not a fight you Embodiments can win alone, Eli. Speak with your brother, convince him to stay on our side, lest the scales tip in Plex' favor. I will call in a few favors, and Reloria will make her move. I can only hope the other Sons will agree to help your plight. And do try to remember, sulking at the results of your actions accomplishes nothing. Act, and be redeemed, or sulk and watch as all falls before you. The other Embodiments on our side will likely rally around you. The Planes will Shatter once again." He suggests, bowing before turning away in a flourish of golden light, leaving behind nothing.
