You Should Have Killed Me When...
"Mothetrucker." Ino spat as she whipped the remote at the television. "What a bunch of piss ants!" she cried out as she threw herself on the couch and sat crossed legged, glaring at the TV that was now laying on its back on the floor.
"What did you do!?" K23 cried as he walked into the room, a large two liter bottle of Coke in his hand. "My poor baby!" he cried as he threw himself at the floor, scooping what remained of the TV into his arms. "My precious.." he crooned as he shot dirty looks at Ino.
"Not my fault." Ino said as she glared back. "It didn't work. Maybe it should work next time!" and without waiting for an answer Ino got up and left the room, her face screwed up into an evil glare at anyone who walked past.
"Orph!" a shrill voice yelled out along with the sounds of running water. "Get! Out!" it cried before a door slammed and Orph's voice echoed down the stairs.
"I have a hangover! Quit yelling at me! Aaaah!" Orph shouted before he came barreling down the stairs holding his head.
Ino could hear Nisorin sighing from in the kitchen, a room over, and she laughed despite herself. Sidestepping past the ravaging Orph with a hangover Ino headed back up the stairs and locked herself in her room.
The sun rose and made it's way over the sky, settling down by the horizon before anything else "good" happened. It was quiet, cool, and dark in the house. All of the members were situated in the living room of their "house". A brand new television was hustled in quickly as soon as K23 got over the fallen one. The new one flickered happily across the disjointed family. Hikaru was at the very end curled up like a cat and to the right, or butt, of her was Ino, slouched down with her head plopped on Orph's shoulder, who looked pissed about this, with her right foot plopped on K23's head her left food dangling over his shoulder. K23 sat on the floor in front of Ino and Jeebus was sitting to the right of him, in front of Orph. Hawkeye was strapped to a metal chair with his eyes taped open and the others were randomly laid about without a care in the world.
In her sleep Ino would sing softly, the lyrics a bit hard to understand though the general idea was obvious. Sometimes her head would slide down on Orph's shoulders but he was shrug and use his other arm to lift her head back up to the back of the couch. He would feel successful only to do a facepalm when her head would fall back down. Hikaru made weird noises in her sleep as she kicked her feet and sucked on the outside of her hand. She would look cute if her personality wasn't so...bitter. K23's head was pretty much leaned back and he was snoring, which seemed impossible since his face was dominated by Ino's foot (or ankle). Orph and Jeebus were awake thumbing the controllers and going mad at their game.
It was weird how these people would fight every day and go at each other's throat but then when they were all watching a movie or eating they were like the best of friends, a close knit of people never letting one another go though in some cases this has happened. Either way they were the dysfunctional family that everyone loved.
The house was settled in the middle of a forest like area. They had a grand pool that was made out of marble and had a jacuzzi that was settle on a higher level than that of the pool. There was a large garden that Ino tended to when she managed to keep them alive, there was a greenhouse where Hikaru hid things, and the house itself was huge...and weird. Just like the family. There was a tower that was a bit higher than the rest, shaped like an S almost which was where all the shit went down. The rest of the house was like a grand brick house that one could relate to Rose Red by Stephen King. There was another part that was connected through a series of tunnels under ground that they played laser tag in and basically had sex, if one could manage the creepy noises and smells.
It was, to say the least, a very interesting...place to live. Especially in the night.

Fireflies
That night was certainly a strange one, though. Around midnight, Orpheus finally stood up from the couch, yawning and stretching in an exaggerated motion. He looked over towards Hawkeye.
"Hey, bro. Take my place. I think I'm going to bed."
He looked down anxiously towards Ino, who had been subconsciously twirling his Justin Bieber like hair for the past hour now. Her eyes met his briefly before returning to the sight of the pre-game lobby on the videogame Jeebus and Orpheus had been playing. Hawkeye anxiously reached out for Orpheus's control, taking his place on the couch, thanking Orph as he did so.
A few moments after Orph left, Taylor quietly got up, excusing herself. As she made her way down the hallway from the "living room" towards the foyer, she noted how it was oddly quiet. It was, what, twelve fifteen? Usually, everyone was making noise at this early hour. Even Nisorin, who had gone to bed an hour earlier, was usually still up reading a book or something. She giggled at the thought of Nisorin reading Gone With The Wind.
The blonde haired girl made her way to the front door, cracking it ever so slightly and stepping onto the porch of the house. The porch, somewhat of a shaded, narrow walkway, curved around the entire house. Taylor began to walk along the porch, towards the back of the house. The back porch was elevated off the ground, more of a balcony, and it overlooked the pool and hot-tub below.
Ino stood on the balcony, looking down below to the hot tub/jacuzzi. Firm in the jacuzzi, a confident smirk on his face, sat Orph, looking up at Ino.
"Come on down!" he called out to her, "The water feels good!"
"I think I will," Ino called back as she made her way down the stairs of the house. Her finger reached down to the bottom button of her shirt as she made her way down. The two were enjoying themselves.... They had no idea what had happened in the Living Room after they left.
"HIKARU!" K2323 called out, "YOU'RE ON MY TEEEAAAM!"
"Oh, joy," the pink-haired girl replied, making her way towards K2323, standing behind him. Part of the household were now awake, divided into teams between K2323 and Jeebus.. Both of whom had flags in their hand. On K2323's team were Hikaru, Zai, and Hawkeye. On Jeebus' team were Thunder, Hiro, and Lyoko222.. Capture the flag.
"Don't complain, Hikky! You designed the stupid flag!" K2323 hollered out at Hikaru.
"B-but it's kawaiiiii! Kitty flag for the win!"
"But Jeebus has mudkipz on his flag!" K2323 complained.
"Say, where's Taylor and Orph?" Zai asked.
"I'lll fiiind theeem!" K2323 insisted. He tossed the flag in Hikaru's hand and took off towards the door.
"YOU GET BACK HERE, CRETIN!" Hikaru yelled out at K2323, "IT'S YOUR FAULT WE'RE PLAYING THIS STUPID GAME!"
It was too late. K2323 was gone.
"Alright, you guys understand the rules?" Jeebus asked. "Good. Let's do this," he insisted. His team took off to hide their flag in their team's territory, and Hikaru, Zai, and Hawkeye set off to hide the kitty flag in their own territory. That is, Zai set off to hide the flag, with Hikaru and Hawkeye straggling behind.
On the jacuzzi deck, Orph and Ino were relaxing, looking at the stars. The two friends (and exes) didn't mind being in the company of each other. Times like this were nice. No nagging, no outside life.. They could just relax and be friends.
Of course, they both could have fooled you about each other. They both claimed to dislike the other, and yet, they both flirted with each other. At the end of the day, they just liked being friends. They were quite the curious two. It was a matter of speculation for everyone around them.
"This is nice," Ino said, breaking the silence.
"Yeah," Orph replied.
A third voice spoke up.
"I doin't know, I think we need some music, if you ask me."
The two were taken off guard at the voice of their friend K2323, standing behind the two.
"WHAT A CREEPER!" Ino yelled out. She grabbed a hold of Orph's shirt which was laying beside the jacuzzi and threw it at him angrily.
"Kinda stalkerish, K2," Orph agreed.
"What? It's not like you guys don't have any clothes on or something, right?"
..Awkward silence.
"Right?"
"Hey, K2323! Come on! We hid the flag!" Hawkeye yelled out from outside the pool fence.
"Coming!" K2323 replied, leaving the two red-faced and speechless in the hot-tub. He joined Hawkeye, Hikaru, and Zai. The four set off to continue with their game. The two got out of the jacuzzi after awhile, Orph going off to join the game, leaving Taylor alone for the rest of the night. Taylor found herself wandering back to the now empty living room of the house.
She turned on the television which she had knocked over just a few hours before, switching it to a music channel. A soft song began to play as she curled up on the couch. Eventually, the tired and sweaty friends of hers could be heard coming in the front door, but they all left her alone. She was glad, because she was far too tired to get up by now.
She drifted off to sleep peacefully with a smile on her face.

Only Girl In The World
The next day Ino was happy and cheerful, much like she generally was every day unless someone pissed her off. In her room, with the door wide open, was Ino dancing to Just Dance! for the Nintendo Wii. Ino usually did this because it was good and healthy to dance and she enjoyed singing along with the songs and acting like she was the actual singer despite the fact that in this situation she wasn't from Barbados.
"Want you to make me feel, like I'm the only girl in the world, like I'm the only one that you'll ever love! Like I'm the only one that knows your heart..." Ino sang cheerfully as she danced to the movements on the game, her hips jutting to the side and her head going bag as she rocked her hips and danced around the room. The room was bright so seeing Ino danced across her floor with her pale skin made people stop and stare for a moment in wonder before moving on. This was typical though it didn't seem to be normal for some people.
Couple rooms over and Hikaru was already glaring in the general direction of Ino's room. Even though it had only been a while and a few minutes of Ino singing and dancing Hikaru was still annoyed. Maybe she was jealous or maybe the pure idea of Ino singing just drove her crazy. Ino wasn't really sure what her voice did to other but it's not like she paid that much attention to anyway.
"Not everybody, knows how to work my body, knows how to make me want it..." Ino sang softly as her general dance slowed down a bit to a more sexy type movement.
"God dammit." Hikaru hissed before she slammed her book shut and flung out of the room slamming her door behind her as she bolted down the hallway to confront Ino. Only Hikaru didn't expect what Ino was going to do - grab her by the hands and get her to dance with her.
Now the main females of their house were grinding in Ino's bedroom though not against one another. Hikaru was trying to escape but Ino managed to latch on and drag her farther and farther away each time. Hikaru was in a t-shirt and sweats and Ino was in a pair of booty shorts that she only wore to bed (she was wearing them currently cause she had just woken up) and a cami-top. Hikaru kept averting her eyes from the very flashy sleep wear Ino was currently in.
"Daaaamn..." K2323 said as he stood at the doorway to Ino's bedroom, watching the girls prance around, one in barely anything, the other covered up entirely. "Nice..."
"K23!" Ino screeched as she leapt at him from in the middle of the room, her legs working over-time as she jumped at him, her face full of rage. "I'm going to kill you!"
"Ino! Look!" Hikaru cried out as she pointed at Orph hanging upside down from a window looking in to Ino's room. A camera was in his hand.
"What the hell! A cult!" Ino cried as she grabbed a shirt off the floor and covered herself up, glaring and shooting daggers at Orph who quickly disappeared and seemed to take K23 with him. "Gross! Perverts!" Ino cried before she bolted from the room with the shirt covering her in her nighties as she went on a hunt for the two boys. It became an all out wizard hunt.
"I'm going to find these effers!" Ino shouted, her voice loud and rattling windows as she turned into the Ino Beast, version of 2011. A small eep! escaped her lips as she glared at a mouse but it didn't stop her for long as she observed every inch of the room before moving on, her body hunched over a bit as she prowled.
Orph sat in his room hidden in his closet as he peered at the pictures he had of her and the video of her dancing by herself before Hikaru came into the picture. The mere idea of having these pictures, well pictures of Ino either way, made him sort of happy. Then he heard the real Ino pounding up the stairs so without any further wait he pulled the latch and fell down a trapdoor, sliding down a chute and straight into the laser tag like room where people mainly went for you-know-whats.
"I don't think so!" Ino's voice thundered and before Orph could stop and think about what was even happening - or think at all - Ino was right on top of him, her face in his, her eyes wide and her chest rising and falling fast as her anger seeped through her bloodstream. "You are so dead." she hissed before she pinned him to the floor.
Say my name, say my name, wear it out. It's gettin' hot, crack a window, air it out.
Above Hikaru was hunting down K23 and it wasn't hard. Hikaru had given up way before Ino did but mainly to lure K23 out and it worked. When she stepped into the kitchen, noticing the sighs from Nisorin, she spotted K23 munching on food. Of course. Gaser quickly jumped in front of him to defend him before he decided that hey, going against Hikaru wasn't in his best interests. Gaser silently sidestepped and headed for the fridge ignoring the stangling and gagging sounds that ensued once his back was turned.
Once K23 was on the floor, twitching and regretting ever peeping, Hikaru looked up at Gaser and Nisorin who were seated at the table. Nisorin ignored her, sighing, but Gaser grinned cheerfully at Hikaru, causing her heart to beat a little faster and her palms to shake. Hikaru, whether she wanted to admit it or not, had feelings for Gaser deep down inside. Would she ever show them?
Laughter and giggles came forth from the dark and cool area known as the lasertag room...

Break Your Heart
In the darkness of the underground laser-tag room, Ino giggled as Orpheus struggled to get free from her grip. She pinned him down, laughing at his struggle. Then, he flipped her over, pinning her to the ground. He had her right where he wanted her. On the floor.
Ino started to lean into Orph, staring in his eyes.. And all he had to say is, "Your breath stinks."
Orph didn't get any that morning.
Upstairs, breakfast was underway. As Gaserlake and Hikaru both ate their cereal, they discussed the new Fallout game. Nisorin was mildly in tune with their conversation, though he was mostly preoccupied with his coffee and the morning paper. K2323, meanwhile, had picked himself up and was fixing breakfast when a furious Ino marched into the kitchen.
"Someone got up on the wrong side of Hikaru's bed this morning," K2323 joked. He got a death stare from everyone in the room, and quickly disappeared to eat his breakfast in the living room. Taylor fixed herself a bowl, trying to keep her face calm. She joined the other three at the table, barely listening to their conversation.
"Well," Nisorin eventually said, "I think I'm gonna go to town to get a few groceries. Anyone want to come?"
"I do," Ino piped up. Anything to get out of this house for a few hours. She had started off this morning so cheerfully, but her mood had been ruined. Besides, Nisorin always knew how to make Ino feel better. He was the kind of friend she needed.
As Nisorin and Ino left, Gaserlake and Hikaru got up from the table, putting their cereal bowls in the sink. They made their way to the living room to find K2323, Jeebus, and Orph watching NCIS. They seemed oblivious towards Gaserlake and Hikaru both. It wasn't until Gaserlake finally spoke that their heads turned from the TV.
"Hey, Orph, what happened with you and Ino?" he asked.
"Bitch tried to kiss me," Orph replied.
"Lucky son of a bitch," K2323 muttered, which earned a snicker from Jeebus.
"You denied a chance to make-out with a girl?" an astonished Hikaru asked, "Who are you and what have you done with Orph?"
"At least I'm not asexual," Orph replied, glancing at Hikaru. Hikaru's heart skipped a beat as she quickly glanced at Gaserlake, who quickly glanced at her. They both turned their heads, their faces red.
The door-bell of the house rang. That was quite rare, because the house was in a forest, pretty much in the middle of nowhere. The mailmen stopped delivering to the house long ago out of pure fear of the seemingly mental inhabitants, and all the group's friends usually called before arriving. The group had a small P.O. box in town now for mail, but nobody usually sent them any mail. K2323 rushed to the door to see who was there.
"I swear, if it's another Jehovah's Witness," Jeebus muttered.
"Watch it," Hikaru growled.
"We got a package!" K2323 yelled at the top of his lungs.
"Damnit, Hik, what did you order?" Orph shouted out.
"Why do you assume it's me?" Hikaru replied.
K2323 walked back into the living room, the package in his hands. He began to tear it open and peered inside.. And a look of pure shock came across his face.
Nisorin and Ino arrived at the grocery shop in town around ten. They got in and split up to find everything on the unusually long grocery list. They managed to check out and pay by eleven thirty, and were back on the way to the house by eleven forty. They'd barely talked the entire trip up until that point.
"I'll go ahead and get it out of the way," Nisorin said, sighing. "What's wrong?"
"Everything!" Ino replied. "And nothing! I.. I don't know."
"Right," Nisorin said, shaking his head, "Why don't you just start at the beginning?"
Ino explained everything to Nisorin, from her not being able to find the right boy, to the situation that morning with K2323, to what had happened with Orph. Nisorin comforted her as she explained her troubles. He always made her feel better. She smiled as he tried to cheer her up.
"Don't worry about him," Nisorin told her, "He's a wanderer. He can't just settle with one girl. You're too good for that."
"I don't even know why I tried to kiss him," she replied, "It was stupid. We're better off as friends. I know that. He knows that. So, what's my problem?"
"Doesn't sound like a problem to me," Tom replied, smiling.
"Come on, Hikaru," Gaserlake was saying back in the living room, "I thought it was pretty funny."
"Not funny at all," Hikaru replied, holding up the pink, furry handcuffs that Gaserlake had ordered. Jeebus and K2323 were doing all they could to keep from dying of laughter, and Orph was mimicking a throwing up motion. "Why the hell would you order something so.. so degrading!?"
Gaserlake had a puzzled look on his face. "It's a damn joke, Hikaru."
"Yeah, well.. Well, next time, think before you do something so.. So damn STUPID!" Hikaru shouted, running out of the room.
I'm only gonna break, break, break, break your heart..

Love Like This
Ino walked in the living room with a box of goodies for herself just as Hikaru was leaving the room, the pink and fuzzy handcuffs on the floor seeming to glare after her. "What the hell?" she asked, her hand in the air en route to her mouth and her eyebrow raised in a "wtf?" way. Orph decided that he would take this awkward moment and leave the room so as he walked by Ino he shoved his hand in her box of munchies and snagged a handful though not without a few slaps and cries of outrage from Ino.
Hikaru stayed in her room most of the day, her face buried in her pillows. She couldn't believe she had been so degraded like that, especially by someone...No. She wasn't going to think that about him, not now, not ever. And it wasn't even the fact that it was about Gaser but the fact that if it was any guy, she would still think the way she was. She was, after all, asexual.
No one really did or said much of course since one it was a lazy Sunday and two because no one really felt like doing much. It was a lazy day and the only thing that ever came out of doing anything was either fighting or more laziness. So people usually chose to just lay around.
Ino had dominance over the living room this day because she, quite frankly, wasn't in the mood for anything. A fan was resting on the cushion to her left and directed at her while her right foot lay propped up on an ottoman and her other dangled freely over the edge while her body slouched down. Anyone who walked in the room either had a pillow or random object thrown at them (and Ino had many of these) or shouts of "Get me a soda!" "Wanna refill my glass? Pwease?" or "GET OUT MOTHERFUCKER." Usually, however, the first two shouts would get people to stay away from the living room mainly so that they wouldn't feel obligated to get her what she wanted unless they wanted to truly die.
Hikaru remained in her room, Orph had a mysterious girl downstairs, Jeebus and K23 were gaming in the den like area that the guys usually circulated in, and Nisorin was in his own room, gaming on his huge screened customed computer with the images flashing and dancing around his room. Hiro and co were running around playing tag though since the house was so big it was more like hide and go seek.
That was when strange things started to happen. The house made weird noises usually but only when it was winter or on really humid days. The house seemed...alive, almost. Hikaru always managed to sneak into Gaser's room and sleep in his closet so she didn't feel so lonely, so scared, but it never helped, at least not really. The noises never stopped but she was closer to a human being, especially Gaser, that she didn't feel all that bad.
But would it stop the house from trying to eat them? No. Definitely not.
Sometimes, if you were careful enough, you could catch some of the moans and creepy sounds the house made but since this bunch never paid much attention it was hard. There were few observers (Ino, Nisorin, Hikaru, Zai) and then there were just the flat out oblivious (the others). This usually explained why it was either Hawkeye or Orpheus that had fallen down a weirdly placed and totally random chute that was "discovered" in the house but then at the same time not really "there".
This had happened on more than one occasion but in the end the victims would still manage to fall for the same damn thing. Made you wonder, sometimes. Really wonder.

Riding Solo
The week went by fairly slow. The group made some money from their various.. business ventures on the internet, so that weekend, it was decided that celebration was in order. Tom, Jeebus, Orph, and K2 would go off and hit up the city, while the girl's had their night. It was all anyone could do to keep from dying before Friday came.
But Friday eventually did come, and that evening, Tom, Jeebus, Orph, and K2 all packed into K2's F250 and drove off. Hikaru and Ino took off as well, on the way to the mall (despite Hikaru's insisting that they didn't need to go shopping) to begin their own night. Everyone left at the house was thankful. Finally, the house was quiet. That was a rarity.
In K2323's truck, the group had the radio turned down and windows rolled down. Everyone was staring at the various signs and what not along the road as K2323 drove down the county road that led into the nearest city, about ten miles away. It was rare that they came down this road -- usually, when they needed to shop, they went to the small town about two miles away from the house, and none of them worked in the city. Even though it was only ten miles away, it always seemed so terribly inefficient to drive all the way there.
"Are we hitting up that place?" Orph said, eagerly. He'd been waiting for the right time to ask that question, but it'd been killing him.
"What place?" Tom replied.
"I think he means Ricardco's.. And hell, yes, we're hitting it up," Jeebus explained.
"Ricardo's?" Rom asked.
"Yeah," K2323 replied with a grin, "Ricardo's."
"This is why I don't usually come with you guys on these things," Nisorin said, sighing, "I swear, if this is a strip cllub or something.."
"Relax, Nis," Orph said, grinning, "It's not a strip club. It's something.. Far.. Better."
"Wait, now. I don't know about that," K2323 argued.
Ricardo's turned out to be short for Ricardo's Mexican Bar & Grill. Nisorin sort of wished it was a strip club. Still, Ricardo's was a happening place. The four gathered into the Mexican joint for some tacos and margaritas to start off their night. Orph and K2, in the course of their meal, ended up having a contest to see who could eat the most tacos.
Orph won.
"So," Nisorin said as the four were leaving the Mexican joint, "This has been fun. Sort of wish the night wasn't over."
The three just stared at him before falling to the floor laughing.
"Dude," Jeebus said between laughs, "It's 7:30. We're nowhere near done."
"Yeah," K2323 agreed, "Now, it's time to hit up Vierni's."
"Let me guess," Nisorin said, "Italian?"
"If you prefer," K2323 said, grinning.
Hikaru and Ino had hit up ten different stores by the time the boys finished their Mexican adventure, and were now getting their hair done.
"So," Ino said in her usual, bubbly voice, "How's things with you and Gaaasserrr?"
"Not funny," Hikaru replied.
"What?" Ino asked, a bit offended.
"You know very well how we are. I hate boys," she grumbled.
"You and me both, hun," she replied, her nose cringing at the thought of Orph. "Say.. How about we head home early after this and go for a swim?"
"At eight o'clock?" Hikaru asked, astonished.
"Yeah!" Ino shouted, "It'll be fun."
"Fine," Hikaru replied hesitantly, "I guess."
The next step on the boys' agenda certainly had not been swimming. They ended up at Vierni's, and Nisorin got his Italian. He found himself pairing at two tan legs as Michelle, a (Italian) stripper, had her legs on Nisorin's thigh. All he could manage was, "Well, fuck."
The other three made their rounds throughout the strip-club, having a good time. It was at about ten when the group got kicked out of the club after K2323 pretended to be a bouncer. Of course, in his defense, he had a bit to drink that night. Nisorin drove the group to get ice-cream, upon an even drunker Orph's request, and then home. They pulled into the house at sometime around eleven.
For the last two hours, Hikaru and Ino had been swimming in the pool. They'd just dried off and set off back to the house when the truck full of the four guys pulled up. Ino watched, amuse, as a drunk Orph and K2323 tried to make their way into the house. They kept tripping over each other. A slightly more sober Jeebus, and an entirely sober Nisorin, followed the two into the foyer where they met Ino and Hikaru.
"Hey, guys," Hikaru said.
"Hey, HIKKY!" K2323 shouted.
"Shh," Ino whispered, "Everyone's sleeping."
"B-but.. why.. The night is YOUNG. Like.. like.. you know. A young guy," K2323 explained.
"Shut up, K2. Nights can't be young. FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, FUCK! You stupid idiot!" Orph shouted out.
"Um.. Yeah. guys," Jeebus said, laughing, "I think we had too much to drink. I'm definitely more wasted than.. uh.. me."
Ino and Hikaru just laughed at the three, but when they had to help K2323 to the bathtub after he started throwing up, it was no longer a laughing matter. The group had a great night, though. They'd need it for what happened next.

Somebody to Love
Ino was in a very cheerful mood as she danced around the living room. Everyone else was off doing their own gig and doing whatever they found amusing at the time. It was nice out, not overbearingly hot and not extremely cold either so mostly everyone was outside. This is why Ino was dancing around in the living room in her pajamas as she figured, well, no one was around to see. And, what she was dancing to, made it worse. It wouldn't have been discovered if Hikaru hadn't have come down from her room from the thumps and beats of the music.
"What the hell is going on?" Hikaru mumbled to herself as she stomped down the stairs, irritation growing strong and thick as she came closer and closer. And then she heard it. ...I just need somebody to loooove, I don't need too much, just somebody to loooove... Hikaru froze. What was going on?
As she rounded the corner Hikaru came to a screeching halt. She never would have thought that this very image in front of her would ever occur. Ino was standing in front of the television with her hips swaying and her body moving back and forth to the music. Granted, she wasn't a bad dancer but it wasn't a pleasant sight to see. At least, not to Hikaru. It didn't make anything better that it was Justin Beiber's voice ringing through the speakers and rattling the windows. And, as always that Ino's music did, giving her a headache.
"Ino!" Hikaru yelled though to no avail. The music was turned up too loud and her tinny female voice didn't even begin to pierce the sound. Hikaru sighed loudly, though that didn't even leave a dent, before she walked over to the wall and yanked out the sound system's power chord. "Ino!" she said, sternly almost. "What. Are. You. Doing?!"
"Dancing." Ino said, almost a little out of breath as she looked at the pink hair female. "Why? Wanna dance with me?"
"No." Hikaru stated, bluntly, ending all doubt or misinterpretations.
Ino shrugged before she walked to the stereo and turned it on, once again. It could run off of batteries as well. Hikaru stared at Ino bug eyed as Ino began to dance once again like nothing had happened. Hikaru sighed, facepalm'd, then stalked off to her room as she dug her finger nails into the palms of her hands. The music still blared and made the house bounce with every beat and thump.
The brunette boy on the television danced around in fluid movements and Ino danced along with him completely oblivious to the "crowd" that began to gather to watch her, basically, make a fool of herself. Body swaying and all.
"Wooo..." Jeebus murmured softly as he, drunk, watched her dance around like a gypsy in his drunk stupor. He was half asleep and half drunk to not realize he was watching his daughter" jam out in her jammies.
Nisorin just watched from afar not really turned on though not like he was blatant to the joy he felt watching her dance around; it wasn't the same joy that Orph got though it was a joy that was a result to Ino's dancing meaning she was happy. If she was happy, he in turn became a bit more cheerful.
But then, Ino began to sing. And, well, for Orph her singing wasn't a good thing...depending on how you looked at it. "I just need somebody to looove...I-I don't need too much, just somebody to love." Ino said as she swayed her hips and then started to, or try anyway, dance like Michael Jackson. "Step, to the beat, of my heart!" Ino sang as she, surprisingly, perfected the moves the male performed on the television.
Even though she was singing a love song, and a love song by what most males dubbed the gayest boy alive, he still was...aroused. It didn't even matter what she sang though, it was just her voice that got him.
Jesse McCartney began to play. Even from her room Hikaru heard it and she did a facepalm.

Ino started to sing along to it though she didn't dance along with except for a few beats. A hairbrush, deposited from earlier, was snatched up as Ino began to dance more and more. Her mood seemed to bubbled over as she started dancing more and more and her voice soared even if it was off key at a point or two. "There's a place downtown, where the freaks all come around, it's a hole in the wall, it's a dirty free for all." Ino sang as she danced around, a different song on. It had a more rave like beat to it and Ino bounced with it. "And now we look' like pimps, in my gold Trans Am. Got a water bottle full of whiskey in my hand bag, got my drunk text on, I'll regret it in the moar-nin'." Ino bobbed her head up and down before she was sideswiped by Orph in a joyful glomp.
"Run! Duck for cover!" Ino started to shout wildly as she flailed in an attempt to beat off her perpetrator seeing as she couldn't see who it was. Nisorin and Jeebus took off out of the living room while Zai shook his head and then left, his eyes rolling. K23 stood there curiously, watching, as did Gaser, before Nisorin snatched them by the backs of their collars and dragged them off.
The two were left to their business. Sort of.
Deep in the corners of the basement something rattled, shaking the house from it's very foundation. It beckoned those close by, if any, with a deep graveyard-esque voice. Dark, blood red eyes seemed to appeared before a large, sharp toothes grin followed. Then all together they disappeared.

I'm enjoying the story! And, ya know, I think a certain long gone character needs to reappear in the next one. Ju's sayin' ;)

I Will Not Bow
It was a warm, summer day when Nisorin, Orpheus, Gaserlake, K2323, and Hawkeye arrived at the house that would be their new home. The friends all stepped out of Nisorin's car and stretched. It'd been a long, long trip. They were finally here.. They were home.
The house, which rested on some number of acres, was fairly worn down when they found it. They would have never been able to afford this much land on their own, though. It'd been Nisorin who'd won the lottery. He could think of no better way to spend it then to buy this piece of land, up front, for the five to live while operating their small internet business. The five had a dream to some day make it big off this piece of land.
Sure, there had been plenty of nay-sayers. Their friend, who they called Blackcat, had tried to talk them out of it. Hikaru had told them numerous times that she wanted no part in their adventures. They weren't going to let nay-sayers keep them from fulfilling their dreams. Here they were, ready to move in to their brand new home, with just their luggage, and nothing else.
K2323, Gaserlake, Orpheus, and Hawkeye started to get the luggage from the back of Nisorin's car when a black car pulled down the driveway behind them, parking next to them in the wide, spacious front yard which served as a mediocre parking area. From the black car, a tall man, dressed in a business suit and wearing a tophat, stood, looking at the five with a smile on his face.
"Right on time, you five. I like that," the man said. Nisorin approached him, offering his hand out, which the man, in turn, shook.
"Mister Raylon!" Nisorin exclaimed, "Nice to meet you. I'm Nisorin. We spoke over the phone."
"Ah, yes," Raylon replied, "I can't even begin to tell you how thrilled we are that you.. bought this.. house. It is certainly one of our more.. interesting properties here at Simple Real Estate."
Raylon handed Nisorin the keys to the house and bowed slightly before him. "If you have any problems, don't hesitate to give us a call."
"Will do," Nisorin replied, "Thanks."
"Not a problem," Raylon replied, quickly shuffling into his car and driving off, yelling out some garbled phrase which sounded a lot like "GOOD LUCK!"
"Um.. Did that guy even give you his number?" K2323 asked Nisorin curiously.
Sure, it'd been a fix her up. A year and a half later, they still hadn't fixed her up entirely, and hadn't even explored some parts of the property. The basement generally was an enter-at-your-own-risk kind of zone. There were also numerous nooks and crannies -- tunnels, in fact -- throughout the house. There were entire passageways which had once served as vents for the household.
The small online business which the group ran had taken off, but it wasn't extremely well off. The five who'd started the business had picked up a lot more to their family over the months, but numerous members of the household had other jobs on top of the business. Nisorin, who still had a considerable sum of money from his lotto winnings, insisted on working when he could. Others tended to follow his example. Most others, anyway.
There was always someone in the house, though. In fact, there were usually a few people in the house at any given time. It was very rare that everyone was gone all at once. Even Hikaru and Gaser, who tended to stay inside when they could, left the house quite frequently. Had the group any neighbors, said neighbors would not have known what to think of the bunch. They were quite the curious ones.
The group had found a house just outside their property one day, though. Ah, yes.. It'd been quite the adventure. The house, just a quick trip through the forest on the edge of the property, had been long abandoned. Inside, the group had found a curious picture of a graveyard. Nisorin had an interesting theory that the graveyard had existed, at one time, nearby, and that the house was, in fact, some sort of mediocre funeral home.
Alas, it was just a theory. Most of the household didn't pay much attention to theories. Orpheus and Gaser, being the heavy thinkers of the group, often got in "debates" over stupid things, of course. But really,. this group didn't care for science or history. They didn't bother with the neighboring house.
Theories were the least of things on Ino and Orph's mind at the moment, as they found themselves making out on the floor of the living room. One of Orph's hands steadied himself above her on the floor, and the other rubbed up and down her leg, feeling her warm, tan skin. It was Heaven. The two were liplocked, and nothing was about to interrupt their-
"ORPH! GET THE GUN!"
K2323's voice echoed throughout the house, trailing off from the foyer. Orph stood up in a rush, adrenaline pumping through him. He quickly pulled Ino up, and the two rushed towards the front door, where K2323 was standing, glaring outside at.. something.. terrifying.
"INO!" Orph yelled, "GET THE FUCK UPSTAIRS! EVERYONE, GET THE FUCK UPSTAIRS! HURRY!"
The house was big, but Orph was louder. Everyone somehow managed to hear him and get upstairs quickly. Everyone, that is, except K2323 and Orph who closed the front door behind them and quickly made their way to the unoccupied master bedroom on the first floor. They made their way through the bedroom into the master bathroom and approached a closet in the bathroom. In the closet sat a safe which K2323 quickly opened.
K2323 pulled two pistols and a shotgun from the safe, closing it behind him. He handed one pistol to Orph, who quickly loaded it. K2323 did the same with his own pistol, as well as the shotgun. They made their way out of the master bathroom and master bedroom when..
They felt the house shake.
"What the fuck?" Orph asked.
"They're getting in through the basement," K2323 replied.
"Fuck.. I'm calling him."
"Right," Orph agreed. "Give me the shotgun."
K2323 handed Orph the shotgun. Orph took off towards the front door, readying himself for what was coming, and K2323 quickly rushed over to the door to the basement, holding his pistol up at the door with one hand while pulling out his cellphone and holding it up to his ear with the other. He situated his phone between his ear and shoulder, moving his other hand to help grip the pistol. His phone was dialing.
Ring...
Ring...
"Hello?" a voice picked up.
"Hey. It's me.," K2323 muttered.
"Hey.. It's been a long time."
"Yeah," K2323 agreed, "It has, but this isn't a social call. How fast can you be over here?"
"An hour and a half, if I hurry. Why?"
"Hurry."
"I'll be right there."
"Thanks. See you soon.. UnStellar."

Blow Me Away
A loud roar was emitted from the far corner of the basement, the eyes again returning and more red than ever. The anger literally rolled off of the angry dark face and turned into shadow-like figures that seemed human. The mouth returned and it was turned up in a gruesome grin as it made at least 8 figures with maybe more in the back.
K2323 hung up the phone, his body a little more calmed as he turned to look at Orph with a smile on his face. He held up his gun and winked before he opened the door, Orph quickly following behind. The two needed to find out what was going on and how long it was really going to take UnStellar to get here. What if he got caught in traffic?
All that was really known was that in the end, UnStellar did manage to get there later though only by a couple of minutes. By the time he opened the door things had just gone down. But we'll get to that.
"Let's split up." K23 said as he turned to head down the opposite side of the hallway, ignoring the confused and hesitant look on Orph's face. Before Orph could even say anything K23 had disappeared into one of the bedrooms so Orph took this as to look in the rooms as well.
Orph walked up the stairs, carefully, as he went to check the third floor bedrooms - where Ino's bedroom was - because this was where he had told everyone to go. It was oddly...quiet. Too quiet for a large home full of teenagers. From a distance rain could be heard hitting the greenhouse roof and the ground and maybe even the pool three stories below. When Orph stepped onto the third floor landing he heard it on the window just to the side of him, along with rolling bouts of thunder off in the distance.
As he walked down the carpeted hallway the lights began to flicker and the wind began to pick up and howl. Orph kept walking with his gun raised as he walked to the first door, stretching his other hand and opening the door. With the lights flickering and whatnot Orph could barely see but when he ventured a little past the doorway he saw that the room was empty.
This continued as Orph checked each room before he realize that they were all...empty. What did he say about going upstairs!? He figured that they all would have seriously gone upstairs and stayed there. Not gone up there and then left. What the hell?
Orph smacked his own face in a facepalm as he went back down the stairs and went to check the second floor. K23 had probably gone downstairs seeing as Orph didn't see him in the hallway as he stood there for a moment. With a sigh Orph began to do the same procedure he had done on the third floor, carefully checking each room even with the horrible lighting. When he got to Ino's door, littered with pictures and random things, he held his breath as his heart began to beat a jillion times faster than it already was. Probably from earlier and the fact that this was her room.
Stepping carefully on the plush carpet Orph padded into the room and looked around as the lights blinked rapidly on and off. The windows were open and as soon as Orph saw the purple curtains move in the wind he had a cold chill. The window...was open and rain was spilling inside the room like it was nothing. When Orph walked closer to the window he then saw a figure laying on the bed. Ignoring the wet carpeting and the fact that his feet and legs were getting wet he gently tugged on the blanket.
Nothing happened.
Orph quickly walked to the other side of the bed, keeping his pistol ready as he did so. He wanted to know who it was. Was it really Ino? If it was it explained her still sleeping even with the damn window open and his tugging on her blankets. If it wasn't then...well, who was it? Orph now stood in front of the person laying in Ino's bed gazing down at the figure seemingly sleeping peacefully. Reaching over slowly Orph pulled down the sheet that was covering their face and pulled it away before leaning in closely to make out the face. It was Ino, sleeping. Of course. Orph sighed in relief before he watched her sleeping for a while, a smile spreading across his face as he did so. He touched her hand that was outstretched away from the rest of her before he left the room, deciding to let her sleep while she still could.
Checking the other rooms Orph realized that it had been Ino who actually stayed up the stairs along with Jeebus who was in his own room playing video games in the flickering light. Surprisingly the power hadn't gone off and wasn't flickering...it was just the lights. Suspicious? Yes.
The house still remained quiet as Orph ventured further and further into the darkness. He was looking for someone that was awake but all he found was darkness and empty rooms. Where was everyone? Just when Orph was about to give up and wait it out he ran into Hikaru and then Gaser as he came out from behind her. "Oh my God there you guys are!" Orph all but whispered as he looked at the two. Nothing seemed wrong to him at least not now even though they were both smiling and seemed a bit...paler. Orph was just glad there was someone else in the house aside from him and a snoring Ino.
"Hey." Gaser and Hikaru both said at the same time with that same smile on their faces. It didn't seem like their lips had moved but maybe Orph just wasn't paying attention enough. "Where is everyone?"
"I have no idea." Orph shrugged as he waved his pistol around to indicate upstairs. "I just know that Ino is upstairs and that K23 is now gone as well and Jeebus is playing video games in his room."
"Oh." this time it seemed Hikaru had spoken though Orph wasn't too sure and just went by the higher pitched voice that Hikaru emitted.
"Yeah. Where did you guys come from?" Orph asked this time as he became just a tad suspicious now.
"Downstairs, the basement." Gaser answered this time as he thumbed the direction he himself was talking about.
"Alright, well I'm gonna go check it out then and see if maybe anyone else is down there like you guys were. Maybe they thought we said downstairs?" Orph said the second part more to himself but the other two both heard him. He headed to the door and told the others to just go upstairs like they had been originally told before he opened the door and disappeared down the stairs.
While Orph was gone inspecting the basement, the worst area ever, K23 had been looking around the rooms down stairs and the closets and then the greenhouse and then he had ventured out into the house that they had found that one day. Maybe the reason why things had been acting funny inside the house was because of this house. Maybe Nisorin was right and they were living in an old funeral home?
The door creaked open as K23 pushed it with his palm very gently. His eyes scanned the room before he walked inside, dripping wet, and shut the door behind him, darkening everything. In the dim light he saw a light switch to his left and so he flicked in in false hopes. The lights actually turned on and this actually surprised him a little; they didn't even flicker like the ones inside the house did. Why was that?
K23 didn't think too much more of it as he began to search through the smaller house the one that seemed to just..sit there...randomly. Why was it even here? K23 looked in all of the rooms, eying the beds that seemed to never have been used and the room that held a bunch of unused objects that K23 thought were a bit weird and...not worth bothering. The kitchen held food though long ago spoiled as he soon found out upon opening the fridge and some of the cabinets.
Venturing farther down the hallway K23 came across an office like room. There were books, hundreds of them maybe, and files. The files is what caught the attention of K23 along with maaaybe some of the books but K23 needed to stay on track and so he focused on the files. Pulling them out one by one K23 discovered that the house they lived in had been many things; an old hospital, a funeral home, an insane asylum. It had had so many different names that it was astounding and it make K23 wonder just how long the building had been standing and what all had happened to it. And so, he began to read.
Inside the house Orph had found absolutely no one in the basement. He had searched everywhere for the others down there in the dark but no one showed up. Because of this he decided to venture back into the actual house itself and attempt to find everyone...and hopefully they would be there. Of course he wasn't just looking for them but he also was looking for anything suspicious and well nothing showed up. At least, not to him.
He decided to check on the sleeping Ino once again and so he headed in that direction. But then, the lights turned off. The house rumbled and the windows shook and the wind picked up as soon as the lights gave their last flicker. This scared Orph a bit and caused his heart to flutter. More or less in fright for the girl sleeping he ran up the stairs. He was scared...for her. Not for himself!
"Ino..hey.." Orph whispered to the girl as he tugged on her arm and gently shook her every now and then. She was still sleeping. With a sigh Orph began to drag her off, ignoring how revealing this made her as he threw her up and over his shoulder, trying to get her to awaken. "Ino!"
"Wha?" she said as she bounced a little, her face still sleepy even as she hung there. Orph gently removed her from his shoulder and carried her in his arms as he all but ran to the door.
He made sure no one was out there before he quickly went to head for the stairs before, suddenly, he tripped. His grip on the blond loosened and then was gone entirely as her body fell down the stairs with thuds and bumps. Orph stared after her with eyes wide open and a look of disbelief.
"Ino?" he called as he quickly ran down the stairs and collected Ino's broken body from against the wall. Only..it was Ino. Her body was pale and her hair was a darker blond. "Ino..?" he asked tentatively. She didn't look like she did before...she looked like Hikaru and Gaser. Just as he thought this Ino's eyes opened and she reached up to strangle Orph with her red eyes bearing down on him.
When she had fallen her body was snatched through a little square hole in the wall, one of the many vents from it's older form, and the doppelganger stepped through. But Orph didn't see this as he had still been splayed on the ground. Orph only realized it wasn't her until he was against the wall being choked.
Everything turned off. "Who turned off the lights!?" Jeebus shouted in anger as his television turned off, along with his game. He became quiet just as well and everything had gone dark.
A knock was on the door.
-
Monster
"Did we forget to pay the power bill again!?"
Jeebus came walking down the stairs, a candle in his hand. He thought nothing of the sight of Ino choking Orph at first, but as she got closer to the two, he realized that this was not.. exactly Ino. He quickly reached out to intervene, grabbing Orph's pistol from the floor and clubbing the dark version of Ino on the head, knocking her out.
"T-th.. Thanks," Orph managed, hoarsely.
"What the hell is going on?" Jeebus asked.
"Z.. Zombies."
There was another knock at the door. Jeebus readied his pistol, and Orph readied the shotgun. Cautiously, Orph opened the door.. There was nobody there. Orph looked down and saw a note written in multiple colors.. Crayon. It read, "Help me!"
"Dude.. That's freakier than Hikaru fighting a bear," Jeebus muttered.
"Agreed," Orph replied.
The two made their way outside and started searching around the house for K2323. They were about to give up when, from around the corner of the house, K2323 came running, meeting them near the pool deck, behind the house.
"K2323!" Orph yelled out, "Where the hell have you been?"
"Studying," K2323 replied, "I found some old records in the old house next door.. You'll never believe what I found out. Those people we saw outside the house earlier.. They're z-"
"Zombies," Jeebus interrupted.
"Exactly," Orph muttered.
"So.. What do we do?" K2323 asked.
"We fight," Jeebus said bravely.
"Hell no," Orph replied, "I'm not fighting an army of the undead."
"Oh, thank God," Jeebus muttered, "I was worried that I would look like a coward if I backed out."
The three of them made a run for K2323's truck, clubbing an infected Hiro or Lyoko222 along the way. They climbed in the F250, and K2323 tore out the drive quickly.. As he started to pull out the drive on the way to the road, a good quarter mile away, K2323 saw Nisorin's car in his rear-view mirror. It was full of zombies.
"Hold on!" K2323 yelled out, swerving the truck sharply into the forest, dodging trees here and there.
The zombie car chased K2323's car for some half an hour through the forest before K2323 found his truck blocked off by zombies. With nowhere left to go, K2323 locked his truck doors, and the three got ready for whatever was coming next.
"We have to fight our way out," Orph decided.
"Right," K2323 agreed. "My pistol's got a few more shots in it."
"I didn't bring any extra ammo with me.. I'm good for one shot, then I'm out."
"Right. What about you, Jeebus?"
No response. The two looked over to see Jeebus, now with pale skin, dark hair, and slightly red, glowing eyes. K2323 raised his pistol to club Jeebus, but it was too late.. Zombies poured into the truck, taking K2323 and Orph's weapons. The two found themselves gagged and binded, then thrown into the back of K2323's truck. They faded to black, terrified.
The two awoke some time later to find masks over their heads. Pail, slimy hands brushed their faces, and their masks were lifted off.. They were in the living room now, back to back, strapped down in chairs.. Facing a bunch of zombies. They began to struggle as the zombies started to approach them.. Their friends were about to infect them.
And then, they heard laughter. The zombies started to laugh. Hard. K2323 and Orpheus were terrified.. Then, it began to dawn on them. It had all been a joke..
"You bastards," Orph muttered.
"You should have seen your faces!" Ino exclaimed, holding her sides.
"But.. how? Your skin.. You're all pail! And your eyes!"
"Stage makeup," Gaser replied, grinning.
"Somebody had to teach you two a lesson," Nisorin explained as he started to untie them.
"A lesson?" Orph asked.
"You two go around playing video games and being insensitive all day," Hikaru replied, "Now you know how we all feel on a daily basis."
There was chatter throughout the room, all in general agreement.
"That's just cruel," K2323 noted, "And you, Jeebus!? You were on their side!?"
"Well," Jeebus replied, "They promised me booze if I helped them."
K2323 and Orph stood, more than a bit angry. Everyone was getting over the excitement when a window shattered, and bullets came flying into the room. The sound of gunfire echoed throughout the household. Somebody was shooting at it from the outside.
"What the fuck is that?" Hikaru asked.
"That," Orph replied, "Would by UnStellar, coming to purge the household of an army of undead."
The group looked out the window to see a combat-ready UnStellar.. standing on top of a tank in the front yard..
That evening, the fiasco over with, the entire household, UnStellar included, had fit into the living room. There was no television on tonight. The group were all sharing drinks and stories about memories of times they'd had together. It was a night of laughter.. Of happiness.
Ino and Orph made their way, at one point in the night, onto the back porch balcony, the laughter of the household fading to a low mummer. They glared up at the stars, quietly holding hands.
"So.. Is that what you look like without makeup on?" Orph asked playfully.
Ino jokingly pushed him, but didn't let go of his hand. After awhile, she let out a great, big yawn.
"I'm sleepy," she announced.
"Then go to bed," Orph suggested.
She looked up at him, her green eyes sparkling. "Will you tuck me in?"
The group was at their happiest at times like these. They had life, love, and great friends. It was times like that which one would think they all belonged together. Maybe they did, too. Maybe they needed each other.
Come that night around midnight, most everyone had gone to sleep. In the living room, UnStellar, Zak, and Orph were still awake, talking quietly.
"Thanks for putting me up for the night," UnStellar said softly.
"It's no problem, dude," Zak replied, "We have plenty of rooms."
"What he said," Orph agreed.
"Tonight was great," UnStellar announced, "I miss these kinds of nights."
"Yeah," Orph said softly.
"We should do it more often," Zak said.
About that time, a worried Nisorin quickly walked into the room, glancing at the three with a very serious expression on his face.
"Good. You three are still awake.. Come with me."
"What's going on, Nis?" Zak asked.
"Yeah, dude," UnStellar agreed, "What's wrong?"
"No," Nisorin replied, "It's Ino.."
Orph stood, alarmed.
"What about Ino!?" he demanded.
"She," Nisorin began hesitantly, "She's.. Gone missing."
-
XD Of COURSE I drive a tank. Don't have to worry about traffic in tank! Little bummed there were no real zombies though. We need a story of us fending off the zombie apocalypse. Hmm...
Love the story guys.

If I Leave[/b]
The group, the dysfunctional family, went way back. They all went to the same high school with each other - those that graduated had been well know, such as Jeebus, the awesome sauce alcoholic and party man.
A lot of the memories the family shared was in the high school hallways. Hikaru had been a witness to a lot of the scenes, as was Zai who kept his head down and usually walked quickly. Nisorin only 'witnessed' them when he was in the school working on the computers but he only heard about them hours later when he questioned why Ino was in the principal's office and Orph was booked with a week full of detentions. Ino and Orph were usually the ones that went at each others throats on a daily basis. There were times when Bitchwin would try and start things, or even Hikaru, and the two would go at it, along with Ino going against Bitchwin. Out of the two, Ino got in trouble the most in school but Hikaru usually had to face legal troubles.
At this time, however, they all didn't live with each other. Later on they all moved in together but Ino and Orph would generally avoid having to come home, or, well, mostly Ino. She would either be at work, at a friend's house, or cruising around in her car. Orph would either be with a friend or at a party but generally he would stay home in hopes of never having to catch Ino outside of homing and schooling areas. This usually worked until at random points Ino would decide to stay home at the same time Orph would or they would come home around the same time as each other; this instigated long, silences that were thick with stress and emotions between the two, making everything awkward.
The two were ignored for a vast majority of the times they fought. Generally they wouldn't fight in the house though if tension was high and Ino was in her bitch mode anything would go. As said before, they were ignored a lot of the time.
But, even with all of the fighting and the slandering, the drunk one night stands and the bitch fights that broke out, they all loved each other, deep down inside. Even if they tried to ignore it and ignore one another, deny it, push the feelings aside, or lie about them...they were still there. It didn't matter how hard you tried or what it took for you to break, they were still there.
Which is why when Ino went missing, everyone started to look. Sure, she was a bitch, and sure people got on her nerves or vice versa but they didn't want their lovable, resident badass Ino missing, now did they? Maybe it Orph or Hikarus' cases but not the rest.
"Where could she have gone?" UnStellar asked as the four of them stood at Ino's bedroom door, watching as Orph stood in the middle of the room staring at the empty bed with a large pool of blood in the middle, the sheets tossed aside and torn away. His face was turned away from them but it didn't change the fact that the three of them already knew what was on his face.
The search for Ino was on.
-Short chapter cause I don't know what K23 wants done...D; and not really in the mood baha
-
You're Beautiful
The crying, shouting, and searching eventually stopped. Most of the house began to accept that Ino was gone after a few weeks. Even Orpheus eventually stopped searching. Everyone realized that there was nothing left they could do. The cops had reached a dead end in their own investigation.
The days after the search was called off were somber. The spark in the lives of the household members was gone. They no longer had the same joy that they had known. They no longer had the same happiness. One of their family was gone.
Life got back to a relative sense of "normal" after a month. People could be found watching TV and playing video games again. They had not forgotten about Ino, but they were moving on from the loss of their friend. They were coping. Time was passing.
Orpheus, though, was not so fortunate as the others. He didn't get to move on like them. He usually was locked inside his own room. The only times he seemed to leave were when he went to town.. When he went to the bar. That was where he went to drown his sorrow away.
Thirty two days after Ino vanished.. It was one A.M. in the morning, and only Hikaru was awake. She was sitting on the tailgate of K2323's truck, just thinking. She had been in her share of differences with Ino, but the girl had been more of a sister to her than her own family. She had been the one to cheer Hikaru up when she was sad. She had been the one who Hikaru had known was more than just a simple friend.
Where was it that Ino had gone? Had she been taken away? Had she ran off on her own accord? If only she knew the answers.. Maybe she could find her lost friend. Maybe she could find the answers she and everyone else in the house had been seeking for a month now.
Ino's mom was going to arrive tomorrow to help go through her stuff. The poor family had gone through so much too. It was only natural that her mom would be somewhat suspicious of the family in the house. She had met Orpheus, K2323, and Hikaru a few times before, but she wasn't too keen on her daughter living with the group. Ino had explained to her mom on numerous occasions that she was a grown woman and could choose where she wanted to live.
"Hey," a man's voice spoke, making Hikaru jump.
Gaserlake laughed as he came up to Hikaru, joining her on the tailgate of the truck. The two shared the silence for a bit, reflecting on everything. So much had happened lately... There wasn't too much to say at times like this. It was just one of those times to sit and think.
"Come on," Gaserlake finally spoke up, "It's cold out here. Come inside."
"Right," Hikaru said. She joined her friend and the two started inside, when a bright light spanned across their back. They turned to see a car swerving into the driveway before parking in the front yard of the house. The car and the headlights both cut off, and out of the car stepped Orph, a beer bottle in his hand.
"Orph.. Are you drunk!?" a worried Gaserlake yelled out as the two ran up to their friend. He just looked at the two before dropping to the ground. He'd passed out. The two helped him up and into the house, obviously worried about their friend. He'd never been this bad off.
"Ino.. Ino.. Ino, I'm sorry."
Orph and Ino were sitting in the hot tub by the pool, looking up at the stars together. They were holding hands.
"For what?" Ino replied, looking at Orph.
"For.. For not giving you the love you need. For making you leave."
"I didn't go anywhere," she replied, "I'm right here."
"But.. you're not really here. I'm drunk."
"Shh," Ino replied, "Don't ruin this, Orpheus. You need me. I need you."
"I need the real you," Orph replied, "I need to wake up."
"You don't want that," Ino replied, "You don't want to wake up. Tell me.. Tell me I'm beautiful."
"You're beautiful," Orph replied.
"Tell me you love me."
"I love you."
Ino glanced at Orph, smiling.
"Now," she said, "Tell me like you mean it."
"I.. I can't," Orph replied.
"Why not?"
"Because... I don't know if I love you. I don't know anything right now... I just know that I want you."
"Then wake up," Ino replied.
"What?" Orph replied.
"Wake up.. Wake up... Wake up!"
"Wake up, Orph!"
Orph's eyes flew open. He was in the living room, laid out on the couch. His head was killing him. Hikaru, Nisorin, and K2323 hovered above him as he groaned.
"Ino!" he shouted, coming to.
"Just us, bro," Nisorin said sympathetically.
"She.. she's still missing."
K2323 nodded his head, a sad expression on his face.
"What time is it? It's morning already? I can't remember-"
"Orph," Hikaru said, "You have to stop drinking."
"I need a cigarette," Orph replied as he stood up, reaching into his pocket.
"Orph!" Hikaru cried out. Orph looked at the pink haired girl, a blank expression on his face.
"You have to stop, bro," K2323 said, "You're killing yourself."
"So what if I am?" Orph replied.
"Orph. Stop it and listen to us," Nisorin demanded.
"Make me."
He stormed off towards the front door, and the other three chased after him.
"Where are you going!?" Hikaru demanded.
"Margaritaville," Orpheus replied, opening the front door of the house. He stopped in his tracks, dropping to the ground in shock as the other three joined him, looking onto the front porch. There at the door was Ino, a scar on her face and rags for clothing. She looked up at her friends, a scared look on her face.
"Guys.. Help me."

How Could This Happen To Me?
&
Better Off This Way
...How could this happen to me?
It was like love at first sight, like they always say. Sometimes it's different for everyone but the general feeling always results in the same thing - having endless and bountiful love for someone with no conditions. That's what it felt like when Orph first laid eyes on her when he awoke from his drunkened slumber. Sure, she was dressed in ragged clothes and her face had blood smeared across it like she was some tribal member from Africa. Did that really matter to him, though?
For the entire month that Ino was gone, all Orph could do was think about it and how much he missed her. They had their differences and they didn't get along a lot of the time but they loved each other. They just had problems showing it, trying to inflict it on one another. It always came out wrong and whenever they tried to make things work, other things showed up and it made him start thinking all over again: Did he really want this?
So I try to hold, on to a time when, nothing mattered...
and I can't explain what happened...and I can't, erase the things that I've done...
No matter how many times he thought to himself that he could do better, or that she was better off, or that he just simply didn't want her, he always came across those feelings again. The small touch of her comforting him in the most surprising situations always made his stomach flip and then feel like he was going to be sick. She showed love for him even after he treated her like shit even when she told him she was never gonna be there the next time around; but she always was. Why, though? She never explained herself and all it did was confuse Orph even more, make him question her and himself. It didn't matter though, because deep down her knew the answer.
He loved her.
Ino had stood at the door shivering, pulling the mere slivers of clothing tighter around herself. She didn't even bother looking at Orph even though he was the first one there. All she cared about was getting warmth and so she scurried inside, shoving past Orph and the others to gain this.
There was a monster, a dark and dirty monster that was after her and she had actually managed to get this far. Even after the house had become safe, Ino herself was not. She had dozed off after being snatched up by none other than Freddy Krueger himself. Once her mind entered dream land he snatched her up and threw her into a forest where she was left alone to ward him off and save herself. She managed but not without basically being torn to shreds on the outside.
Freddy Krueger was mad though because she got away...and so now, he was following her. Searching and lurking in the shadows, waiting to catch her off guard in her sleep. His face was pulled tight in a gruesome grin as he disappeared in the shadows on the edge of the forest.
Gaserlake could feel someone watching them and he had a suspicious feeling that they were being watched but for now, he dismissed it like it was nothing and pushed the feeling away as he accepted Ino's return. He just nodded and smiled at her as she came in and walked down the hallway, walking to the left and heading straight for the kitchen. Her stomach growled loudly as she advanced on the refrigerator, snatching the orange juice and taking a gulp from the jug itself before she slung the milk on the counter, grabbed a box of frosted flakes, and then dug in.
Her nomming was heard even from the small corridor where the others stood, minus Orph in trade for Jeebus. He was looking at her strangely. "Looks like my mornings after a party." he said, nodding in approval at Ino as she stared at him with hungry eyes, milk dripping from her mouth. She merely blinked before she sat down at the table, her hands shaking.
"Freddy...he's coming..."

Crazy Girl
&
No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems
Ino had insisted that there was someone after her, though not many believed that it could be some sort of Freddy Kreuger. It had to have been something, though. Ino wasn't the same after the ordeal. She was completely different. She had been scarred.
She knew that people worried about her, so she tried to fake smiles and dance around the house like she'd done before, but there was still worry in her voice. She still looked over her back whenever she entered a new room. She couldn't sleep alone, either. She'd practically moved into Orph's bedroom, and Orph would take his bedroom's couch while she slept in his bed. She couldn't stand the thought that something was still out there...
There were some members of the household who believed that there was something to be concerned about. Gaserlake and Lyoko222 had set up a "defense barrier" all around the house. Whenever something tried to cross the barrier, motion sensor lights would alert the house. It ended up being a waste of money, of course, as nothing did come. That made the house even more paranoid.
There were also those who believed that Ino had imagined the whole thing. They would never dare say that to her face, of course. Ino had gone through something awful, but they doubted something was after her. That was slightly absurd, after all. There were bound to be some who were skeptical...
Finally, it was decided by a small group that a trip to the beach would be a wonderful idea. Nine people ended up leaving on the trip, leaving the rest of the house behind to hold down the fort. The nine who were making the trip had chipped in their money and were going to spend an entire week in a beautiful condominium suite with three bedrooms (two with Queen sized beds and one with bunk beds) and couches in the den area (one of which folded out into a bed). It was the trip away that they needed. It was the trip away that they'd been waiting for.
Orph and Ino got one bedroom. Ino didn't want to sleep alone, and the two decided that they were mature enough to share a bed together. Lyoko222 and Gaserlake took the couch which folded out into a bed, and Thunder took the other couch. Hikaru got the queen sized bed. Jeebus and Zak decided to take the bunk beds, and K2323 honestly had no idea where he was supposed to sleep.
The group took two cars, naturally. K2323's truck took K2323, Ino, Orph, Zak, and Jeebus while Lyoko222's jeep took Lyoko222, Thunder, Gaserlake, and Hikaru. Early in the morning at about six AM, the nine quietly were woken up and shuffled downstairs for a quick bite to eat. They loaded their luggage up and took off on their way. The beach awaited.. But first, they had to get through the seven hour car ride on the way there.
K2323's truck took the lead, because K2323 insisted that he knew how to get to the beach. Lyoko222's jeep followed closely behind. The two pulled out of the drive by 6:45 and was on its way. Naturally, the group was sleepy. K2323 and Lyoko222 were the most awake of the group, having gone to bed early so they'd be capable of driving the long trip to the beach.
Ino sat in the seat next to K2323, and Orpheus sat shotgun next to her. In the back of K2323's truck, Zak and Jeebus took their respective sides, staring out the window. As the truck pulled out of the house, Ino turned the radio up softly. A song called Crazy Girl by Eli Young Band was on...
As the lyrics started, Ino laid her head sleepily on Orph's shoulder.
Baby, why you wanna cry? You really ought to know that I just have to walk away sometimes.
Gaserlake and Hikaru shared a blanket in the backseat of the Jeep. They kept one hand at all times on the blanket to keep it from blowing away, but mostly were left to the freedom of the air. Most girls wouldn't have wanted to ride along in the jeep as it'd mess up their hair, but Hikaru hadn't really done anything with it this early in the morning anyway. She was fine not sharing a truck ride with Orph and K2323.
"Here," Gaserlake offered Hikaru, handing her one earbud of his headphones which was plugged into his Ipod. She took the headphone and placed it in her ear. She listened along quietly, greatful to Gaserlake for sharing his music with her.
We're gonna do what lovers do, we're gonna have a fight or two, but I ain't ever changing my mind.
Jeebus sat in the backseat, a sad expression on his face as he looked out the window. He hated times like this most. He hated doing nothing. He hated when he had time to think. It made him sad.
He went around acting like he was drunk all the time. Often, he really was drunk. People wondered why he drank so much. It seemed to him that drinking was the only way to get over his sadness. It seemed to him that drinking was the only way to forget his sorrows.
He glanced up to the front seat of the truck and saw Orph and Ino. He sighed and looked away. Those two were happy together. He needed to find someone like that. He needed to find someone who would make him happy.
Crazy girl, don't you know that I love you?
In the front seat of Lyoko222's jeep, Lyoko222 and Thunder sat still, calmly. Thunder eventually drifted off to sleep. Lyoko222 kept focused on the road, for the most part. He was one of the most excited about this trip. It was going to be awesome.
He was going to spend the week chasing babes in bikinis and drinking some beer by the ocean. He couldn't think of a better way to spend his week. It'd been a long time since he'd been able to get away. Work was killing him, after all. He felt somewhat left out from the house sometimes, but this vacation meant otherwise.
I wouldn't dream of going nowhere
Zak sat in the backseat of K2323's truck, on the verge of sleep. He talked lightly with K2323 about an idea of his, but the two were mostly silent. After awhile, Zak fell asleep. K2323 kept down the country road off the house, his mind not really preoccupied at the moment.
Silly woman, come here, let me hold you.
The group went on like this for about an hour until they stopped to fill up on gas. By this time, everyone was starting to wake up. Ino went into the filling station to buy a coke, and insisted that Orpheus went with her. He did, of course. Everyone got out to stretch their legs for a bit.
A few moments later, the group was off again. Six hours of road to go, and everyone was wide awake now. K2323 kept fooling with the radio stations, which didn't really phase Orph, who's arm was laced around Ino's shoulder. At one point, Ino started fighting with K2323 for control over the radio, and K2323 eventually gave up trying to change stations.
Zak and Jeebus were.. Of all things, playing Pokemon.
"Come on!" Jeebus moaned, "Trade me your mudkip! I need mudkip!"
"He's level fifty," Zak protested, "I'm not trading him! I'll trade you my Pikachu, though."
"They don't even have Pikachu in this version!" Jeebus said.
Have I told you lately, I love you like crazy?
In Lyoko222's jeep, Thunder was trying to get the others to join in his game of counting cars of certain colors on the road. He wasn't getting any takers. Gaserlake and Hikaru were jamming out in the backseat under their blanket, and Lyoko222 wasn't really interested. Thunder found a way to play by himself. This group wasn't much for words.
By now, those at the house were starting to wake up. Nisorin, Orga, Xanacore, and Hiro set off to go fishing, a very, very, VERY rare occurrence indeed! They were out the door by 8:30, on their way to the lake. Everyone left back at the house just took it easy and enjoyed the peace. Nothing interesting at all was happening...
Nobody noticed the soft noises coming from within the forest's shadows.
When you have two cars full of mostly guys, eventually, you're going to have to stop for lunch. Hikaru and Ino didn't mind, though. They were hungry too. The group pulled into the parking lot of Cracker Barrel, parking their two cars. They went inside to enjoy a simple, delightful lunch.
After lunch, they set off to finish off the last two hours of the trip. Everyone had their own conversations going, and the time pretty much went by. Two hours later, they were riding through the city, right on the beach, enjoying the ocean breeze as they drove to the condominium suites.
They finally pulled into the condo suites complex's parking lot sometime around 3:21. They were here.. It was time for the epic week to begin at last. Maybe it'd last forever.
I've been up to my neck, working six days a week.
The fishing trip went relatively well. Nisorin brought home the biggest fish, a bass. Xanacore also caught a relatively large bass. Everyone caught a little something. They came home sometime around two smelling of fish with confident smiles on their manly faces.
"Hello, all," a proud Nisorin greeted everyone as they walked into the living room.
"You smell like fish," Hawkeye stated, "You should go take a shower."
The others nodded in agreement, and the four set off to take their showers and change. They didn't care much about how they smelled. They'd had some great fun out on the lake. They had all realized that they needed to do that more often..
Wearin' holes on the soles of the shoes on my feet
K2323 had been stressed out lately as well. Between comforting Orpheus over Ino's disappearance, work, and his responsibilities around the house, K2323 hadn't been able to just have fun recently. He was generally a more.. laid back person, he liked to think. Stress wasn't his favorite thing in the world. Who's was it, though?
He was ready to just relax. He wanted to have a fun week, and the beach was the best place to do that. He loved the beach. He loved the smell of the ocean, the sight of the palmtrees, and the heat of the sun. This was his place.
Been dreamin' of gettin' away since I don't know
The group found their condominium suite, room 321, to be all they wanted and more. They quickly settled their luggage and claimed their beds before getting around to starting their weeks. Everyone had an idea of what to do after settling in. Excitement was in the air. It was going to be a wonderful week for sure.
Orpheus and Ino sat out on the balcony overlooking the ocean, looking out at it and enjoying the ocean breeze. K2323 changed into his bathing suit and headed down to the beach to sit by the ocean for awhile. Zak, Thunder, and Jeebus went down to the pool to check out the girls. Lyoko222 plopped on the living room couch to take a nap after the long drive. Gaserlake and Hikaru took off with Gaserlake's guitar and headed out to the beach as well.
Ain't no better time than now for Mexico
"Hard to believe that just a few weeks ago, we were doing this," Ino stated, glancing over at Orpheus.
"Sitting on a balcony?"
"Yeah," Ino replied.
"I'm never going to let anything happen to you. You know that... Right?"
Ino didn't respond. Orpheus couldn't help but feel a bit guilty. Was he leading her on? He didn't know how he felt. Maybe he wanted this; Maybe he wanted this more than anything in the world.
Maybe he was just dreaming.
Lyoko222's didn't dream much. Truthfully, he didn't sleep much. He wasn't an insomniac or anything, but he was a hard working man who lived in a house with some twenty other people. You can understand that sleeping didn't always come easy. He didn't mind it, though.
He was sleeping like a baby now...
"Lyoko222, have a beer."
A pretty, tan girl in a bikini sat next to Lyoko222, handing him a cold beer now. He was in a beach chair now with her and three other girls, all friends. The girls giggled as they talked to Lyoko222. After awhile, more people started coming up and enjoying the fun. There was nothing but laughter and the beautiful ocean breeze.
As Lyoko222 had his dream, Jeebus, Thunder, and Zak seeked making their own dream a reality. They were walking around by the pool, scoping out the scene. They quickly learned that there were actually two pools. One pool generally had more families swimming in it, and the other had more teenagers and twenty-somethings. They knew which pool to stick to.
"Alright, guys," Jeebus spoke up, "Let's go change and jump in."
"Sounds good," Zak agreed.
"Yeah," Thunder said, "No complaints here. Let's see if K2323 wants to join us."
They found K2323 enjoying the breeze of the ocean. He was sitting in the sand and letting his feet sit in the water. Jeebus, Zak, and Thunder walked up to him, wide smiles on their faces.
"What?" K2323 asked.
"It's babe central at the pool," Jeebus replied, "Get your ass up and come on."
"You guys go ahead," K2323 replied, "I'm going to find Hikaru and Gaserlake and head to the store."
"Whatever floats your boat," Thunder said as the three walked away. K2323 set off to find Hikaru and Gaserlake.
Hikaru and Gaserlake were sitting out on the sand. Gaserlake was strumming along on his guitar as the two stared out at the ocean. They barely heard K2323 approach them from behind.
"You're good at this," he said from behind, causing the two to jump.
"K2323!" Gaserlake yelled out.
"Woah!" Hikaru shouted. "Don't sneak up on us like that!"
"Why not?" K2323 asked.
"Nevermind that," Gaserlake said, "What's up?"
"Going to the store to buy groceries. You two mind tagging along?"
"Sure," Gaserlake replied, "Hikaru?"
"Why not?"
That night, Orpheus and Ino settled in to bed a little earlier than everyone else. They got comfy in the bed and turned out all the lights. Orpheus was soothed... The feeling of the sleepy Ino's bodyheat crashing into him, the smell of her shampoo... He smiled as he drifted off to sleep, putting an arm around Ino.
Outside their bedroom, K2323, Zak, and Hikaru were having a few shots along with their shrimp and cocktail sauce. They were laughing and exchanging stories of old times.
"And then, then," K2323 said in between laughter, "She came up to me-"
"I DID NOT!" Hikaru shouted.
"She came up to me, and she.. And she whispered in my ear.."
"You're making this up!"
"Go on!" Zak insisted.
"She whispered in my ear, "Nisorin's really sexy, don't ya think?"
Zak and K2323 exchanged laughs over a slightly angry Hikaru.
"I was drunk!" she insisted.
"Don't worry," Zak replied, "We've got some stories of K2323 when he was drunk too, don't we?"
"Ooohh," K2323 laughed, "You wouldn't, Zak."
While the three were discussing stories of drinking, Lyoko222, Zak, and Gaserlake were sitting in a hot tub with two beautiful girls. The five of them were having a very good time. Needless to say, they didn't get out of the hot tub for a long while. They wouldn't dare.
Jeebus did not join the group in the hot tub. He had a Pina Collada in his hand as he strolled down the beach, mainly passing by people looking for crabs along the shore. He looked out at the ocean, reflecting in thought. Everyone was having fun, but he hadn't seemed to be able to get into the groove of things just yet. He'd only been here for a few hours, but still...
He found a place to sit, just a little away from the condominiums and structures on the beach. He let his feet wade in the ocean and just.. Thought. His silence was eventually interrupted by a sweet, feminine voice.
"I see you found my thinking spot."
Jeebus turned to see one of the most beautiful girls he'd ever laid eyes on. She was a tall, well built, light-brown/dirty-blonde haired girl with the most beautiful green eyes. She smiled at Jeebus, leaving him dead in his tracks. She was.. Absolutely gorgeous.
"Hope you don't mind," Jeebus replied.
"I don't. As long as you keep me company."
"Gladly," Jeebus said, "I'm Jeebus."
"Cuddie.. Your name's Jeebus? That's kind of weird."
"Long story. Cuddie's not exactly a normal name either, though."
"Yeah... Long story."
The first night slowly faded, leaving the group with a week left to go. They were all, quite frankly, having a blast. Anyone would in their place. The trip was a wonderful thing for them. It meant that they got to experience the wonderful ocean.

Love this story. Keep up the amazing work.

Remembering Sunday
Orph was on the beach with Ino, strumming the chords to a soft song by All Time Low. He tried hard not to focus his brown eyes on the brown haired "beauty" as he sang, very softly, to her. He felt that if he looked at her his heart would break and he wouldn't be able to strum anymore because of how beautiful she looked next to the small fire that they built.
He woke up from dreaming and put on his shoes
Started making his way past two in the morning...
He hasn't been sober in days...
Orph's soft voice rang out as he strummed along with the tune, his foot bouncing up and down to the beat as well.
I don't mean to be a bother, but have you seen this girl?
She's been running through my dreams, and it's driving me crazy it seems
I'm gonna ask her to marry me...
Orph chanced a look at Ino and his breath was taken away. He had been away from her for so long, had faced other girls in bed and chose others over her and even though she had her fair share of boyfriends she was still by his side. And now, she was here, next to him. Maybe, if he was careful, she would be more than next to him...but with him. His girl. His love. Maybe, eventually, even more. But Orph wasn't one to look into the future.
Everything had been fine that weekend. They all slept well and it was an interesting night for a few different "couples", like Hikaru and Gaser, though we shouldn't get into detail on that. Let's just say she had...well, her first kiss.
Everything was fine...everyone was in bed and they were resting nicely...until they all went into a deep slumber.
- - -
"Shit, shit shit." Ino cried out as she was in a dead sprint towards a closing cement wall that was currently dropping further and further towards the ground by the seconds. "Shit!" she yelled before she jumped into the air and slid across the gravel on her side, bloodying up her clothes as she made it across. Barely. "Holy shit." she said as she stood up, bending over to clutch at her knees and catch her breath. "That...was a close one."
Of course nothing would have mattered anyway. Ino was currently alone, all by herself, in this weird Egyptian temple in the middle of a desert. The others had all gotten separated when they all had gone down a whirlpool that was in the middle of the temple. This was the worst time to ever be alone, especially in an unknown area. Ino had this sneaking suspicion that there was a mummy following her around, even though when she looked there wasn't anyone...or anything...yet.
"Motherfucker." she hissed as she went inside of a tomb, her hair standing on end.
"This is pretty fucking awesome." Orph said as he prodded an ornate beetle. Suddenly, though, when he poked it the little green bastard came to life. Instinctively Orph jumped away before stomping on it, smashing its guts all over the rock that he was on. "Sneaky little shit." he said before he walked further into the tomb, hoping to find something else worthy of poking or adventuring in.
K23 sat in the middle of a large room that he figured was located in the center of the pyramid itself. He couldn't be too sure, however. He had gone exploring as well but he was, well, bored. These types of things are better off explored and adventured when with a friend. Thinking of friends made K23 realize just how alone he was and he wondered what the others were up to. He wondered if Ino was okay, being alone and all, and he wondered what Orph was dicking around with, where Hikaru and Gaser were and if Hikaru was freaking out. He wondered about a lot of things.
The group had, well you know, adventured around the place for a while. They never stopped moving for more than an hour as the place was downright freaking creepy. Every now and then if something fell and made a loud noise Ino would flail her arms repetitively and scream "Oh God I don't wanna dieeee!" before she would dead sprint forwards or try to find a hiding place as her heart raced and her arms shook.
Which is how she was actually found. She was in the larger "room" within the Pyramid where there was sand...and another entrance to the larger tomb area, which creeped her out. How many dead guys were in this place? Ino was perched on top of a little area that was higher up than the actual ground and above a pool. She had spotted something shiny while hiding and had gone for it, distracted so easily even in a dark and creepy place. When she was up there she realized she was out in the open only after it was too late and a loud noise erupted and echoed around her.
"OH SHIT. DON'T KILL ME, I'M TOO YOUNG TO DIE." she screamed as she threw herself on the ledge and cowered away from the edges as she attempted to hide. "OH GOD." she yelled again before covering her face and cowering.
"What the hell?" Orph said as he help up a torch with a large flame on the end, Hikaru behind him and K23 as well. After them came Gaserlake, Cuddie, Jeebus, and Zak. They had all, of course, found each other.
Ino jumped up almost instantly, a smile on her face and about ready to jump towards them before she realized that one, she was higher in the air and would kill herself, and two, they could be anyone. Anyone but the real ones. "Oh fuck!" she yelled before she jabbed a finger towards them. "I don't think so! You might have found me but you'll never take me alive! Bitches!" she added the last part in an attempt to be a major threat but, well, all it would really do was piss someone off. She enjoyed that but only when she knew who they were.
"...." K23 raised his eyebrow at her as she did this before he looked at Orph. "What the hell is right."
Worry was in Orph's eyes as he gazed up at Ino as she side stepped along the wall and made herself further away from them. The fear in her eyes was obvious even if she was throwing cuss words and threats at them. Even though her face was contorted in anger you could also see the fear clearly displayed on her face for anyone to see. "We need to get her down. Before she ends up off the edge, preferably."
Hikaru stepped forward in an attempt to calm Ino down. "Ino...you need to think about what you're saying."
"No!" she yelled out. Her head shook furiously as she closed her eyes.
"Ino..." Hikaru said, a said look on her face as she looked up at Ino, who was slowly stepping closer and closer to her end, literally.
"I said no, dammit." she hissed, her eyes suddenly flashing as she glared at her. "I said no and I mean no, God damn." she practically yelled out before she jabbed a finger at them. "Leave me alone! I'm not coming down."
"She fucking crazy." Gaser said as he looked up at Ino, his eyebrows raised.
"SHUT THE FUCK UP." Ino suddenly screamed. "I AM NOT CRAZY. SHUT THE HELL UP, ALL OF YOU. LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE. I'M NOT CRAZY, FUCK YOU. FUCK ALL OF YOU." Ino leaned down for something unseen by them and when she stood up it was a rock. "FUCK." she yelled before she started throwing them at her friends. "I AM SO TIRED. LEAVE ME ALOOOOOOOOONE." she screamed, her face becoming angry as a vain started to make itself present and obvious as she glared at them all. Her voice was echoing all around the room. Hikaru winced and K23 backed away instinctively.
And then the ground rumbled. Ino started to wobble a little bit as she teetered closer to the edge. Orph took an instinctive step forward as the others looked up at her.
"What the hell is that thing!" Jeebus suddenly shouted, exasperated, as he pointed at something white...dirty white, anyway, and was slowly shuffling towards them. The ground only rumbled even more as the mummy came closer to the group. Ino let out a shriek as she jabbed a finger at it shouting "I FUCKING TOLD YOU. I KNEW IT." This yell caused her to get a little light headed as her heart raced.
"Eeeep!" Cuddie screamed as she cowered behind Jeebus, her eyes bright and wide. Jeebus stood in front of her protectively as his arms held her behind him while he backed away.
Hikaru made a noise in the back of her throat as she backed away. She was weaponless so she was like a declawed cat let loose in the wild; no hope of survival unless she really fought. Gaser just simply stood there next to K23 as they all turned to face the mummy while Orph went forwards, towards Ino. Zak attempted to stop him, his arm reaching out to grab his shoulder but his fingers fell short. "Orph!"
But Orph was already dead sprinting towards Ino as she grabbed at her head, her eyes going unfocused as she stumbled around. "Shit." Orph said as he slipped in the sand, barely paying attention to where he was going.
In sudden bravery Hikaru lunged at the mummy with a hissing sound. The other then joined in in an attempt to save one another, to protect. "CHARGE!" Gaser shouted above the rest before he too jumped in, his fist landing squarely where the mummy's jaw would generally be.
The ground continued to shake and eventually rocks started falling from the ceiling, crashing and colliding with one another as if there was a full on earthquake. The water sloshed around and spilled over the edges, darkening the reddish gold sand to a blood color. It made Cuddie sick suddenly.
And then, in slow motion, everything fell into place. Hikaru had grabbed at the mummy's head, aware of what to do with zombies and similar creatures because of Ino, and yanked. The head popped off easily and the mummy fell in a heap on the ground. While the others were busy killing and attacking and basically gang raping the King Orpheus was charging at Ino as she slipped from the ledge, falling straight towards the water.
"NO." he shouted, loudly, as he lunged at Ino, wrapping his arms around her before the two came crashing down into the small wading pool. His arms were still clutched around her as if expecting Ino to thrash around even though she wasn't even conscious. K23 had turned just in time to see this happen and suddenly the rest of the gang charged after them, diving into the pool to follow suit.
"You think she'll be okay?" Orph asked as he knelled beside the water clogged Ino, his hand resting on her arm as he gazed down at her.
"Possibly." K23 said, shrugging as he too looked at Ino and took in her unbreathing form, her pale skin. "If she's still alive, anyway. I'm not really sure." he said before going silent when Orph gave him a glare.
"Don't say that." he hissed, force in his voice as his brown eyes glared daggers at the other male, whose face was just as pale as Ino's now.
This conversation had gone on just seconds after they got out of the water, having swam all the way out and ended up in the River, their bodied drenched as they sat along the shore. Orph was already fretting over her.
"Give her CPR, idiot." Hikaru stated bluntly as she looked at Orph right in the eyes. "You should know that a drowning person needs CPR. Duh." she rolled her eyes. "How stupid can you get, honestly..." she mumbled to herself.
Orph's face turned pink a little bit before he leaned down over Ino. CPR took place as he put his warm lips on her cold ones and started to breath for her before giving her compressions in the chest. It took a while and as each session went by he started losing hope. That is until she choked on the water and rolled over to project it from her mouth.
"Ino!" Hikaru cried in joy before she went back to being stoic and unemotional. She was still happy though but she didn't want Ino to know just how happy she was. "Yay..."
"Blegh." Ino muttered as she looked up at the night sky, her eyes wide open though unseeing a bit. "That water tastes nasty." she added as she inhaled deeply before sighing.
"BLARGH," Gaser shouted as he charged through a bunch of weeds, acting like the mummy from before only to be clocked in the face by UnStellar. "What the hell, man?" he whined, rubbing the back of his head.
"Well shit, don't do that." UnStellar yelled at Gaser, his eyebrows raised. "You would think you wouldn't for the simple fact that we just had to kill a damn mummy! Jeez!" Stellar raised his hands in the air in exasperation.
Zak let out a chirp of a laugh as Cuddie giggled along with him, Jeebus wrapped around her protectively as if he was expecting a true mummy to appear from the sand or some shit.
"You know...The mummy sort of reminded me of...Slenderman." Hikaru said, grinning evilly as she turned her back on the others so they wouldn't see. Everyone's head swung towards Ino who gave her a frightened look.
"HE'S REAL. I KNEW IT." Ino jumped up from the ground as she jabbed a finger at everyone. "I FUCKING KNEW IT." before she protruded to let out a scream and cry like a little kid in a tantrum. Everything went black.
Ino jolted awake in bed, her voice letting out a screech that woke up everyone else, even those in another room. It was continuous as if she was unaware of doing it and had unlimited oxygen to even do so. Orph, startled, woke up next to her before slamming his body against her and a hand clamped over her mouth.
"Dear God have mercy motherfucker that scared the holy piss out of me." he ranted as he breathed heavily at first as Ino thrashed and kicked and bit his hand in her tantrum of fear. "INO." he yelled before he pulled his hand away from the suddenly silent Ino.
She was snoring.
"What the fuck."

Margaritaville
K2323 woke up, confused. Where was he? He was on a floor somewhere, but how had he gotten here? Did he drink too much and pass out? It didn't seem likely.
He stood, walking over to the glass door that connected the bedroom to the balcony. He saw the beach below, and realized where he was. The beach. He didn't remember coming to this bedroom, but oh well.
He found his bag sloppily tossed across the floor of the bedroom. He picked out a great muscle shirt and a pair of blue jean shorts before heading over to the bathroom and opening the door to -
"K2323!" Ino's voice shrieked from within the shower.
Okay, so, maybe he should have knocked first.
Orph and Jeebus had gotten up early that morning to go for a jog (more of a race) on the beach. Gaserlake and Zak ended up fixing breakfast for everyone. That left Hikaru and Thunder to the television, watching the morning news. Thunder kept reaching over for the remote, trying to snatch it from Hikaru, but he never managed. She kept a firm grip on it...
Lyoko222 set off to find the morning paper. He ended up having to search for an hour before he found a newspaper dispensing machine. When he finally found it, he got his morning paper and headed back to the room. His face was so absorbed in the newspaper that he hardly noticed when a cute girl passed by him...
"I swear! I wasn't trying to be a perv!"
Ino, who now how a towel wrapped around her as she searched through her suitcase for a pair of clothes, had a smile on her face. He was running in circles trying to apologize. He was miserable at it, of course. She was just giving him a hard time.
"Whatever you say," Ino replied.
"I swear! I didn't hear the shower running!"
"Uh huh.. What were you even doing in our room?"
"I don't remember," K2323 replied, "I woke up here."
"That's... weird."
"Yeah."
He shuffled up his clothes and walked calmly to the bathroom for his shower. Ino roared with laughter as soon as he had left the room.
Orph and Jeebus had jogged about ten miles, and were about to turn back. They stopped for a break, sitting down in the sand.
"So, I hear you got in late last night," Orph commented.
"Yeah," Jeebus replied as he caught his breath, "I was out..."
"We've been here for a week. She must be pretty attractive," Orph stated, grinning.
"Tell me about it."
"How late did you guys stay out?" Orph questioned.
"I came back to the room around one," Jeebus replied.
"Must be one hell of a girl."
They stood and started their jog back at this point, ready to get home to the condo for some breakfast. By the time they got in, everyone was eating. They quickly showered off and got their own plates for breakfast. By the time they joined the others who were sitting around eating on the couches, they were all in a deep conversation.
"I mean, tonight's our last night," K2323 stated, "Let's have some fun!"
"He's right," Gaserlake agreed, "We should go out on the city."
"Yeah," Thunder agreed, "Let's see how these beach natives live it up."
"Sounds boring," Hikaru stated.
"Sounds pretty fun to me," Gaserlake stated.
"I guess I'll go, though," Hikaru quickly added.
"I want to go shoooppping!" Ino exclaimed.
"Going out sounds good," Jeebus agreed, "Let's do it."
"Then it's agreed," Orph said allowed, "We're going to hit up the city tonight."
After breakfast, everyone went to enjoy their day. Jeebus and Cuddie went out picking sea shells. Zak and Thunder went to a local beach store to find some souvenirs to take home with them. Orph and Ino were sitting on the couch, a laptop in Ino's lap as she looked up places in the city that the group would need to go to, and Orph held her hand as he looked on her laptop. K2323 was relaxing down at the pool, floating atop of the water.
Hikaru and Gaserlake were actually in the hot tub, which Hikaru found surprisingly relaxing. SHe'd wanted to play an RPG, but Gaserlake had dragged her down to the hot tub with him. She was happy that he had. The warm water was soothing. It relaxed her completely.
Lyoko222 was enjoying a game of football with a couple of people he'd met. The game was getting rather intense. He had been playing for a good half an hour now. The people he was playing with were from Miami. They sure knew how to play football.
Around eleven, K2323 got out of the pool and headed back towards the room. As he was in the elevator on the way to floor three, his stomach growled. Lunch time already? The last day was going by fast. That was not good.
K2323 got to room 321 where he saw Ino at the stove, cooking something. He walked up to her, inhaling the scent of the spices.
"What are you cooking?" K2323 asked.
"Tacos," Ino replied.
"Cool, let me help you with that," K2323 said, grabbing some taco seasoning from the counter top. "Where's Orph?"
Orph and Gaserlake both had their guitars out now. They were sitting in low beach chairs on a sandbar, their feet well trenched in the water, their toes wiggling in the sand. A small crowd had gathered around them to listen as they played... And sang.
"Nibblin' on spongecake!" Gaserlake started.
"Watchin' the sun bake!" Orph sang along.
"All of those tourists covered in oil!"
"Strummin' my six string!"
"On my front PORCH swing..."
"Smell these shrimp, they're beginning to boil!"
"BOIL, BOIL, BOIL!" Gaserlake shouted out.
"Wasting away again in Margarittaville," they both sang, "Searching for my lost shaker of salt!"
"Some people claim that there's a woman to blame," Orph sang.
"But I know," Gaserlake added.
"It's nobodies fault," they sang together.
As the two sang Margarittaville, Lyoko222, Jeebus, and Cuddie watched from the shore, blinking in disbelief.
"Are they...?" Lyoko222 asked.
"I think they are," Cuddie replied.
"I am at a loss for words," Jeebus stated dumbfounded.
The group came in for lunch after awhile. Hikaru was rather sunburned, much to her discomfort. Gaserlake was also a little red, though he did not mind it. Ino and K2323 had enjoyed cooking together, and had actually learned a lot from each other. Jeebus, Lyoko222, Thunder, and Zak walked in, followed by Gaserlake and Orpheus.
...They were still singing.
"TACOS!" Orph shouted out, quickly grabbing a plate and making his way towards the tacos.
The group enjoyed lunch before reapplying sunscreen and heading back out. Hikaru and Gaserlake got stuck with the dishes since they were not going back outside yet. Ino and Orph took off, and K2323 followed closely behind them with margaritas. Zak and Lyoko222 had a kite and were on their way down to the beach to try to get it to fly. Thunder tagged along with Jeebus who drove down to the local tiki hut burger/bar joint.
"Dry," Hikaru stated, handing Gaserlake a pan to dry. He did so, and put it up, as Hikaru washed another dish. "Dry."
They finished cleaning the kitchen fairly quick and headed to the couch to play some video games. They could have sat around playing video games all day, but they knew that it was their last day on vacation. They just wanted to get a few quick games in. Even Hikaru, who hated the outside, knew that there was more to do than sitting around playing video games all day. There was no point. There was so much more to do.
"I'm gonna miss this place," Ino thought allowed as she, Orph, and K2323 lie out on the beach, soaking up the sun.
"Me too," K2323 said, "I want to live here someday."
"It will be nice to get home though," Orph stated, "You've got to admit that."
"Maybe," K2323 replied.
Zak and Lyoko222 had their kite flying now. They were enjoying flying it, but the wind was picking it up. It slipped out of Lyoko222's hands, and Zak and Lyoko222 had to chase down the kite as it started to fly away. They got control of it, of course. This was quite the fun.
Thunder and Jeebus pulled up to the tiki hut and found those present to be great people. Thunder wasn't much for drinking, so he let Jeebus sip a few Pina Colladas and a Margaritta. He enjoyed talking with the people at the bar, though. As it turned out, the beach was a beautiful place. The people here lived a peaceful lifestyle by the shore.
The week had been fairly quiet back at the house. Nisorin was sitting at a computer, watching in disbelief...
A video had been emailed to him of Orph and Jeebus singing the words to "I'm On A Boat" while standing atop of a boat in the ocean...
Night eventually came, and the group got all dressed up so that they could start their night with going out for dinner. They loaded up in K2323's truck and Lyoko222's jeep and set out. The night began with dinner at a seafood restaurant (much to the distaste of Hikaru) and then they set out to begin their night. Tomorrow, they were leaving.

Friday Night Bitch Fight
One of the clubs was roaring with people as they streamed in and out in an array of clothes; some barely wore anything and other were all dressed up nice, like they were on a date before heading to the club. K23 had been driving when he suddenly saw the hot babe from earlier. Or maybe it was the hot babe, who knew, but she did have the same legs as the one from before.
This prompted him to swerve over to the side and nab a parking place right then and there. "I'm going clubbing. Who wants to come with?" he asked as Ino raised her eyebrows. For some reason she had gotten eerily silent, which was never a good sign, but K23 put this aside for another moment.
"ME!" Zak cried out as he bounced up and down. Jeebus looked at him as he bounced before he too nodded in agreement. Looked like at least two others were going with him.
"I guess I'll go. For a little." Orph was in his thinking mood it seemed as he rubbed at his chin, gazing absently out the window. "Too many douchebags though so I don't think I'll stay that long."
Ino turned around from glaring at something out the window and said, "Yeah. I'm going to stay for a little while too...I think I have something to do." she said as she looked at K23, forcing a smile on her face.
"Alright." K23 said before turning off the truck which unlocked all of the doors. The group got out and headed towards the club's back where there wasn't as much of a line. This was also where Lyoko's Jeep was parked at as the others got out. Hikaru drove away in it though as her and Gaser attempted to find something else to do.
Without further ado, the group headed into the club where music was already blaring, like 50 Cent and Ludacris, and causing the drinks that seemed to float around to vibrate. Everyone split up and Ino automatically went on a mission searching for something; to K23 it seemed as if she was on the hunt as she looked around while also keeping a close eye on Orph's reactions from time to time as she followed him back to the bar.
"Oh jeez.." K23 mumbled as he suddenly got the feeling that something bad would happen.
Wait up last friday night, the party looked alright
Just as I stepped on in, I saw you look at him
Oh hell no, excuse me, what? Must be jokin' around
Best leave your pumps at home, I'm ready to throw down
Thunder moved around the girls, at first staying off to the side before he joined in and mingled. Jeebus had, fortunately, met Cuddie here on his very last day so the two of them mingled together and she grinded against him. Lyoko seemed to have disappeared in the bodies.
"Hey there cutie." A random girl said as she came up to Orph, a smile on her face as she leaned forward to show off her orange cleavage. "Come here often?" she asked.
Orph barely batted an eyelash as he grabbed his drink off the counter. "No, I don't." he said, flatly, as he looked at her square in the eye.
"Oh, well that's a shame." she was unfazed. "I guess I should make this your special night, huh?" she asked as she batted her own eyelashes.
Ino seemed to have disappeared to go "potty" but when she came back she was furious. What she saw was a girl making a move on her man. "I don't fucking think so!" she hissed as she lunged at the girl, her fist aimed perfectly at her throat.
"WHAT THE HELL." the girl screamed, her hair messed up and her shirt off to the side. "WHAT THE FUCK, YOU CRAZY ASS BITCH." she yelled as she attempted to stand back up in her heels.
"Shut up, you stupid Ooompa Loompa slut." Ino spat as she grabbed a drink off the counter and poured it on the girl. Orph made a fake teary face when he realized that was his drink. "That will teach you to hit on my..." Ino paused for a moment before she glared at the girl. "MINE." she stated clearly before she threw herself at the girl and went all out crazy by grabbed the back of her head and slamming her knee into it before lifting her up by her grip and slamming her face off of the bar.
"Owie, stop that! Stop! Ouch! My haaaair!" she cried as she kicked at Ino but Ino seemed to ignore the hits as the adrenaline rushed through her. "I didn't know he was yours!"
"THAT'S BECAUSE YOU'RE A SLUT. DUH." Ino yelled back as she nailed the girl right in the face before throwing her away from her body. "Stupid little cunt." Ino hissed as the girl ran away.
Orph just looked at Ino with a very cautioned look on his face, his eyebrows raised. "What the fuck."
"What?" Ino asked as she pulled her hair up into a hair tie as she looked at him.
But then she saw her and instantly, Ino's hands started to shake and her heart started to race. She ignored what Orph said entirely as she looked at the girl, the girl who looked like she had down syndrome with her nappy brown hair and brown eyes. It was almost as if Ino was a hawk and the girl was a rabbit: she zeroed in instantly. "I found her." she said before she practically sprinted through the crowd and charged the girl, who saw her coming and made an attempt to run away.
"Wait.." Orph stood there for a moment and then realized that Ino looked like she had the look of pure MURDER on her face. "Shit." he yelled as he threw his new drink in the air (;_;) and ran after the dark haired girl.
K23 watched this all happen from afar. "I knew it." he said with a sigh. "Oh well, this is still free entertainment." he said before he followed them at a much slower pace. The others kept dancing as if not paying attention. Deciding this was his chance to leave the club, as the babe was not here, he texted the others and told them he was leaving and when they were done they should text him.
"Ino! Stop!" Orph cried out as he sprinted down the sidewalk. "Damn cigarettes." he muttered as he slowed down, holding his chest for only a minute before standing there and watching the girls. K23 sidled up beside him.
"YOU ARE SUCH A SLUT."
"I TOLD YOU I WAS SORRY."
"SORRY DON'T MEAN SHIT IN THIS DAMN SITUATION YOU STUPID ASS RETARD."
And then, in a war cry, Ino lunged at the girl and started throwing her hands at the girl, happy that they landed anywhere on there girl's body. "FUCK YOU. YOU RUINED MY LIFE AND MY RELATIONSHIP." she cried as she landed each blow. Her anger was rolling off of her. "NOT TO MENTION I JUST FUCKING HATE YOU, YOU STUPID LITTLE LIAR." Ino stood up and started to kick at the girl and just when she raised her foot to kick the girl square in the face Orph side tackled her.
"YOU'RE NOT GOING TO JAIL FOR MURDER." he suddenly yelled, more forcefully than intended as the two landed on the ground with a grunt. The girl just laid there and Orph decided to ignore her as he didn't know who she was and he really, quite frankly, didn't care. "STOP."
Before anything else could happen, aside from Ino's thrashing and fighting Orph, the three darted off and went to a food place. One with tacos.
"Who was that girl?" K23 asked for the bajillionth time as he watched Ino scarf down taco after taco.
"No one." Ino said as she bit into another taco ignoring the looks from the two males.
Orph sighed as he watched an ambulance go by. "Hopefully she doesn't remember who you were...or that you did it...or maybe they won't bother to go after you since if they were to look you up your address would probably show up."
"Yeah but what if they contact other jurisdictions?" K23 asked as he raised an eyebrow at Orph.
"Then Nisorin can lie, I guess." Orph shrugged. "He could say she went to visit some friends or something, who knows. And if they catch her all she has to say is that she was never here in Miami and that she was somewhere else. The hotel clerk never asked for her ID from what I remember, which is odd, but still. So it's not like they can legally prove she was here. I think."
Ino just looked at Orph as she finished off her last taco and let out a burp. "Oh well." she said with true nonchalance. "I know she doesn't know my last name because I have threatened her on many occasions and no one she talks to knows my name."
Orph just gave her a dirty look, however, and looked away from her.
"Can I go shopping now?" she asked and looked at K23, the more simple one of the three. He nodded and shrugged at the same time, lost in through, so she slid off her chair and went to throw away her garbage before going to the bathroom to wash herself off. The two boys just looked at each other and sighed.
When their beloved female came out from the bathroom the three of them headed down the sidewalk and towards the mall that was, surprisingly, still open. Ino had her fun while the others just followed her around, Orph pointing at what he would like to see on her.
Hikaru and Gaser found a nice quiet place to relax at: a spa. Gaser hated the very thought of it but he went for Hikaru and because he didn't want to go clubbing and wherever else the others had gone. They were lounged around in a nice circle with their feet in the water, soaking. It was nice, calm, and peaceful.
Back at the home base Nisorin was working on fixing the house up a bit. This was probably his only chance with Hikaru, Ino, Orph, and Jeebus out of the house. This was his last day, too, as the others were probably going to be arriving in the wee hours of the morning.
"Time to head out." K23 said as he received the texts from the others that indicated that they were ready to go back home, finally.
Ino, Orph, and K23 all walked back to the club and got into K23's truck, Ino deciding to drive as K23 passed out as soon as he got inside the truck. The others all got in as well and then they waited as Gaser and Hikaru all got in the Jeep that was parked in the back.
The night was dark and a bit eery as Ino drove onto the interstate, ignoring the speed limits as she gunned the truck, the engine humming in excitement as she sped down the highway. As she drove she sang along since she was about the only one awake aside from Orph who was nodding off every now and then, his head drooping. Since no one was watching Ino would drum on the steering wheel and bounce and kick her feet to the beat and bobble her head as well. She was enjoying herself, she was a mood driver, despite the fact that secretly in the back Zak was recording her.
"AND THAT'S WHAT YOU GET FOR FALLING AGAIN, YOU CAN NEVER GET HIM OUT OF YOUR HEAD." Ino chirped as she beat on the steering wheel, K23's baby. She wiggled around as she changed the song on her Zune that was connected to the radio through the typical cassette tape method. "AND THAT'S KESHAAAA." Ino sang as she started to snap her fingers. "I CAN'T TAKE IT, TAKE IT, TAKE NO MORE. NEVER FELT LIKE, FELT LIKE, THIS BEFORE. COME ON GET ME, GET ME, ON THE FLOOR, DJ WHAT YOU, WHAT YOU, WAITIN' FOR?" Ino started to go out of tune now, to be annoying and retarded/
"JESUS WHAT THE HELL IS THAT SHIT." Jeebus shouted from the back as he sat up rimrod straight. "HOLY SHIT."
"NOTHING." Ino shouted back as she giggled instantly, glad she got to piss off someone else instead of feeling the anger roll around inside her. Of course now she was distracted and, well, they all went into a ditch. The Jeep, with Lyoko222 driving, had followed suit as Lyoko had been texting and not paying attention and basically rear ended the truck, shoving it further into the mud.

Short chapter from me today, sorry.
It Happens
"I'm not mad, Ino. You can stop with the puppy dog face."
"B-b-but I killed your baby!"
"That's why you're not driving."
The group was back on the road again now after an hour and a half of getting their cars straight. Luckily, both K2323 and Lyoko222's insurance would cover some of the damage. Lyoko222, being the one who rear ended K2323, was less likely to get as much coverage as K2323. He'd leave out the part about him texting and driving. That was not a very important detail.
"Can we at least put on my music again?" Ino pleaded.
"NO!" everyone in the truck yelled at once.
It was going to be a long ride home.
Lyoko222 had almost been kicked out of his own driver's seat, but Hikaru was the only other driver in the jeep who knew stick shift. She was not exceptionally skilled at driving stick shift. Lyoko222 kept his driver's chair, but Thunder refused to give him his cellphone back. Lyoko222 would sigh every once and awhile. He was going to be bored to death.
The group did make it home by 8:30 A.M. Much of the house was just waking up, surprised that they had not arrived earlier. No explanations were made as the sleepy vacationers went off to their respective beds. They had not gotten much sleep after Ino and Lyoko222 wrecked. They were too nervous.
They all woke up when Nisorin and Hiro fixed lunch.
"So, what happened to your cars?" Nisorin asked the group as everyone sat around the living room for dinner.
"It's.. uh.. A long story," Orph explained.
The group had a great time at the beach, and even though they'd gotten in a minor accident on the way home, it was fine. It happens.

Till The World Ends Remix
The group had a lot on their mind lately as the insurance started to work their magic and the cars became, well, sort of brand new. The truck, with the most coverage, looked almost brand new. The Jeep had a different hood color, sadly. Ino stayed away from everyone else's cars except her own and even then she preferred not to drive it anywhere unless someone was with her, just in case. She was afraid to crash again and be stuck all by herself and she was also afraid that if she was alone, Slenderman would get her.
Ino fucking hated Hikaru and had a deep grudge against Hikaru, especially after the night Hikaru showed them all the videos. Ever since then Ino would tweak over the smallest shadow or she would have long nights staying up until 9 in the morning before crashing entirely wherever she stood. There was an incident where she passed out in the shower. It was awkward.
Because so much was happening they all decided that they would all remain at the house. They barely left, having decided not to risk their good fortune with the cars, which is why they noticed no change, or at least little change, in their surrounding area. To them it was as if winter was coming along earlier than what it should, what with the gray skies and all, so they paid no attention to this detail. That is, until ash started to fall from the sky, much to Ino's disgust as it turned all of her roses an odd mixture of soot and their original color.
"What the hell?" Hikaru asked as she stepped out on to the porch, her eyes wide as she watched the ash fall like snow. It got on the very tip of her nose and when she wiped it away a large black smudge appeared on her fingers and nose. "Egh." she mumbled as she back away from the open air and into the protection of the house. The black on her finger made her gag as it left a distinctive and disturbing odor: flesh.
"What's wrong?" Gaser said as he came up along side her, his eyes full of curiosity as he looked at the smudge on Hikaru's face. "What's that?"
"Ash...I think. It's...it smells." Hikaru winced in disgust as she looked at the blackness on her finger once more before she went off to wash away the marks. "I'm fine, it's fine. I don't know where it came from, probably our chimney." Hikaru said before she walked back to her room.
Gaser raised an eyebrow after her before shrugging. "Yeah, if we had a damn chimney." he mumbled before heading back towards the living room.
A few days later Ino stomped into the living room, her hair covered in a thin white film of soot, a pissed off look on her face, and a rose in her hand that looked black and white. "I'm done with this shit." Ino spat as she whipped the rose down on the floor, a plume of smoke rising. "All my God damn plants are dying. And my freaking roses are black and white!"
Hikaru just looked at Ino as she ranted, storming around the living room with her hands in the air. The pink haired female was just about as annoyed as Ino was but she had already ranted to the others a while ago. Ino, however, was still ranting.
"Where's the phone?!" Ino asked, loudly, before snatching it off the table and dialing the numbers. It was silent in the living room as Ino waited for someone to answer. "Dammit!" she screamed when no one answer. "WHAT THE HELL?"
"Ino." Jeebus looked over from the television he was transfixed on. "Shut up." he stated, calmly. He wasn't mad, he was just simply telling her to shut up if she was wise.
Ino gave him a dirty look before she stormed out of the living room and locked herself in her own room to scream her head off and rant to herself.
Later that night as the gang watched TV the power went out. Now, this wasn't unusual of course, but it was...well, awkward. It was pitch black and no one knew what was going on and where everyone else was in the pitch blackness.
"Eeeep!" Ino cried out. "SOMEONE'S AT THE WINDOW. SLENDERMAN."
"Ino! There's no such thing as Slenderman!" Nisorin yelled in the blackness as everyone seemed to shuffle away from the windows. "So just stop bringing him up!"
"Whatever! You don't have the dreams at night like I do! You don't look for him!" she yelled back, a bit of anger seeping in to her fear. She cowered next to the person who was closest to her hoping it was Orph as she clutched the arm tightly and hugged it.
And eerie silence fell over the group. "We need to get out of this." K23 spoke up before he reached under the couch and pulled out a deformed looking flashlight, shining it on the crowd. "Lets go." he said before he stood up.
Ino bolted from her spot on the couch and attached herself to the back of K23's shirt, her eyes wide as she gazed around the house in fear. Orph was close behind her, his hand on her shoulder as the three headed out of the room and towards the front door. The others shuffled around behind her with fear on their faces along with curiosity.
Some of the bigger vehicles didn't work, such as K23's truck and Lyoko's Jeep. This got everyone thinking a bit negatively as they wandered through the big garage that was attached to their house.
"Guess we'll have to take the cars." Orph mumbled, looking around. "Anyone staying behind?" he asked, only to be met with silence. "Nevermind then..." he mumbled.
"All right. Ino, I know you're a bit unstable, but you need to drive. Orph, go with her. I know that even when she's unstable she's way better than you are at driving. Hikaru, Gaser, I want you with me in the "community car" over there." K23 pointed to a black Chevy Malibu over in the corner. "Zak, Lyoko, Jeebus. Take Jeebus's car." K23 turned to Nisorin. "You and Thunder can go in your car."
Everyone nodded in agreement before they all went to their respected cars. Ino was tentative as she got into her orange Pontiac Grand Am with Orph in the passenger seat. Everything she did, from pulling out and switching gears, was tentative and cautious. Everyone else was already driving towards the town as Ino pulled out. After Hikaru showed her the videos Ino tended to be a bit...different when she drove.
The town...was, well, it was different. It was empty, a motionless hell hole. Everything was locked and there was graffiti everywhere, some written in what looked like blood. The same ash that had been falling back at the house still falling, even now.
"What the hell?" Ino asked as she stopped behind the other cars, leaning forwards to look up at the sky. "What's happening?" she asked as she gazed up in the gray and then around them: more gray.
"This feels...wrong." Orph mumbled as he too looked out the windows before turning his body in his seat to look out the rear window. The group couldn't see any further in front of them, behind them, or even on the sides than what seemed possible. When usually the human eye can see up to a mile away they couldn't even see any more than twenty feet out their windows. It was...well, odd.
"I don't like this." Hikaru mumbled as she rubbed her arms, glaring out the windows and then at K23 for even bringing up the general thought of coming in to town. "Not one bit." she mumbled as she hunkered down further in her seat.
"Lets go." K23 said, ignoring Hikaru as he opened the door, turning the keys and taking them out of the ignition before hitting the lock button once everyone else's doors were open. "We need to figure out what the hell's going on." he said before shutting his door.
"Look, K23's getting out." Ino said as she too turned off her car and opened her door. The cold air and the stiff smell of something burning washed inside the car, making her gag. "Great." she mumbled before she stepped out, followed by Orph. When the doors were shut she too locked her doors just like the others.
"Now what do we do?" K23 asked, suddenly, turning to Nisorin. Nisorin was the smarter one of the bunch, or at least he had the mind to think things through more than the others.
"You're the one that brought us all here. You decide." Nisorin shrugged as he looked around. He, too, was tense.
"Lets go exploring." Zak said, stepping forward. Red, beside him, nodded in agreement.
Hikaru gave them both death glares as she huffed in response. Ino looked like she was a bit curious herself but too tentative to say anything, especially with her not being able to see further than their little circle. The others, well, they were male so they, of course, wanted to go.
Little did they know what they got themselves into.

Burn It To The Ground
"I'm telling you! It's a volcano!" Lyok222 yelled out, for the hundredth time.
"No!" Hawkeye yelled, "It's a bonfire!"
"Guys," K2323 replied to them, "The nearest volcano is like... Hundreds of miles away, and a bonfire wouldn't cause this big of a mess."
We're going off tonight to kick off every light.
The group followed K2323 in a single-file line as he led them towards the only building with a light on. The light was shining through the darkness of night and the thickness of raining ash. As the group approached it, they saw that it was an old movie theater. It was closed, the windows boarded shut.
"This light must not be electric," K2323 pointed out. "Let's check it out."
"Do you think that's a good idea?" Nisorin asked, "The windows are boarded shut."
"The windows are boarded shut everywhere," K2323 pointed out.
"Let's do it!" Gaserlake yelled, rushing up to the boards and helping K2323 rip them off as they got their way inside. They picked their way inside and got a good look as K2323's flashlight illuminated various parts of the large lobby to the theater. Ticket booths, concession stands. This was a happening place. WAS.
Take anything we want, drink everything in sight.
"Hey," K2323 suggested, "I've always wanted to sit in the projection booth above the theater, let's go!"
"K2323!" Ino yelled out, clutching onto him, "S-S-Slenderman!"
"Don't be ridiculous," K2323 replied, "We have nothing to worry about."
"B-b-but," she protested.
"K2323, you can go check it out. The rest of us will wait here. We need to get going in a bit and see if we can find out what's going on."
"Okay," K2323 agreed, much to the 'aww's of the rest of the guys in the group.
Everyone spread out, checking out the theater, when they heard K2323 scream. Orph and Nisorin rushed towards the projection booths upstairs, Ino following, terrified, behind them. They all met K2323 lying on the floor of a hallway. They rushed up to him.
"K2323! What happened!?"
"I... It was... Slenderman."
"EEP!" Ino yelled out, closing her eyes.
She was totally taken off guard at what she heard next...
Laughter.
"What!?" Ino demanded, looking at the laughing K2323.
"Gotcha," he replied.
We're going 'till the world stops turning while we burn it to the ground tonight.
The group was out on the street again after about half an hour in the theater. The smell of burning only intensified as they approached downtown. They didn't see one single person. They were, quite obviously, getting worried. Nobody had any coverage on their phones now, due to the thick ash. What was happening?
They were about to find out.

The City Sleeps In Flames
Scary Kids Scaring Kids
The notorious group of friends were standing in the middle of an intersection downtown. The wind blew ever so slightly as they stood there looking up at the courthouse in the middle of the town's center. It was silent. The ashes still fell as if there was an every burning fire or maybe even the houses burning on the other side of town. From where they stood there was no way to tell and no one was willing to break up from one another to find out.
"Now what?" Hikaru asked as she looked around, rubbing her arms. She didn't like this, not one bit. In fact, she fucking hated it.
"Who knows..." K23 mumbled as he too looked around though it didn't help any as they couldn't see very far ahead.
The walls were all boarded up and there was blood all along the boards that were smeared in a very gruesome way. Some of the windows were boarded up and some doors were hanging off their hinges, revealing torn up stores and fallen products. It was as if a full on raid had occurred in the small town and the family had missed out on all of the action.
"What the hell happened?" Nisorin said in a small cry of outrage, especially after he saw the condition of the electronic store that Nisorin worked at. "I mean seriously? What the fuck?"
"We seriously need to get to the bottom of this." Gaser mumbled.
"Yeah." K23 was silent for a moment. "Lets split u-"
"NO." Ino screeched, her voice echoing out in the ash-filled air. " I'm NOT splitting up! You god damn moron!" she said in outrage as she, once again, clung to Orph's arm in an attempt to protect herself. "Slenderman is gonna get us." she said in a more whimper like tone.
"Or...well..." K23 seemed to be lost for word. They really did need to split up, as it was the only way they were ever going to cover the entire town in a shorter time period. There wasn't anything else he could do. With a sigh he said, "We have to." he stated, flatly, trying to make it obvious that this was what they were doing and they had to go with it.
"But...but.." Ino whined as she looked from K23 to Orph with wide eyes. "We can't..." she whimpered as she started to shake a bit, tears forming in her eyes.
"It's gonna be okay..." K23 said in a soothing voice before turning to the others. "Now, lets go." he then said in a more forceful tone. Without really needing to explain it everyone split up into the initial groups they were with from earlier with only some slight moderation.
Hikaru, in her typical pissy mood, glared at just about everything. She was scared and even though she didn't admit it, you could kind of tell she was, especially when she would hold herself differently when there was a noise and with the way she would particularly hold herself against Gaser. In fear.
Ino kept herself clung to Orph's arm as the three of them, Orph, Ino, and K23, walked down the street to search for...well, anything really. Any signs of life, perhaps, or maybe a clue as to what the fuck had happened to their little town. Even though they weren't seen all that much in the town anymore it didn't change the fact that they still cared. A little. Not to mention this particular group always ended up in either trouble or trying to figure something out even if it got them nearly killed and/or in trouble.
The ash seemed to keep falling in an endless cycle. The fog never cleared up entirely but they were starting to be able to see past their general range of 20 feet, at least for now. However even if this was a good thing in a strange situation, it didn't make the town any less of an eyesore. The blood was, well, everywhere. There didn't seem to be a place that there wasn't some sort of blood mark on or any boarded windows and it seemed, the farther they went down the street, there wasn't any house that was left untouched.
"This is...really disturbing." Ino commented, suddenly in a different mood. That was one of the strange things about her - no, not along with the bipolar disorder. Her mood seemed to shift in an entirely awkward situation, such as now. Ino always found it interesting to explore abandoned towns and houses that had strange histories and their town had suddenly appeared to be one of these things in what seemed to be over night. "Maybe we should actually look in some of the houses?" Ino asked as she stopped in the middle of a street, gazing at a house that had toddler toys in the front yard and the porch light still on; her heart ached at this scene. "But not this one." she mumbled to herself.
"No..maybe not the houses but some of the stores." K23 wasn't looking at the house but instead ahead of them, towards the high school they all went, and some still going, to. "I have a feeling maybe something with be there?"
"HOLY SHIT." Jeebus cried as he darted off into the fog, UnStellar behind him along with Zak, Red, and Lyoko. "RUN."
A bird-type thing, a mutated-fucking-pigeon was following them with claws the size of daggers and a beak as sharp as a scythe. It made a high pitched caw sound as it flew above them, swooping every now and again in an attempt to snatch one up but failing as Jeebus or Stellar would cry in outrage and throw something random at them.
"RUN FOR THE CARS." Stellar added after Jeebus as they all sprinted back towards the impromptu parking lot the family had made. Jeebus slid on some gravel, though managing to stay upright, and attempted to open his car.
After a few failed attempts on getting the key in the slot he managed, however the door wouldn't budge. At all. "WHAT THE HELL." he cried as he tried again. "God dammit!"
"Break the window!" Stellar said as he stood next to Jeebus, holding his rocks for ammo, waiting to defend Jeebus and the others if needed be.
Jeebus only paused for a minute before he used his elbow and broke the window, getting in and hitting the unlock button before trying the ignition. "Of course the fucking buttons work Jeebus growled as he tried to start the car with only the disappointing sound of the engine turning over. "Fuck!" he yelled as he punched the steering wheel in anger and setting off the horn. This seemed to startle the bird and it flew away with an indignant cry of disappointment.
"If it was that fucking easy to chase the bird away I would have stomped on Lyoko's damn foot." Red mumbled as he glared at the retreating bird.
"Well guess the car is out of the option." Jeebus sighed as he slumped in his seat and his face fell against the wheel. "I'm going to assume the other cars don't work as well either, as this is a brand new fucking car and the others range from the same condition to being worthless pieces of shits." Jeebus let out another loud and long sigh as he glared at the Malibu, the community car; it had a shit ton of miles on it and Orph had used it in an attempt to get the fuck out of dodge, in the winter, to no avail. What a shame, as it was a nice car, too.
"We need to find the others." Stellar said as he looked around; silence had fallen once again around them. "Seriously, we can't stay here any longer. Especially if pigeons are trying to eat us and shit." Red nodded profusely in agreement to this statement.
"Yeah, because we're totally going to find them so fucking easily in this town. Who knows what the fuck else is out there." Zak said, going against what Stellar said entirely before sitting in the car and shutting the door in a defiant way. "I'm not going out there again, not back in that town with shit like this. You all can but I can stay here happily."
"Whatever, bro." Jeebus said before he got out. "Have fun with a broke window." he said before shutting the door and heading back towards town with the other three. Zak stayed where he was as he watched them leave with a huffy looking facial expression.
"See ya!" Stellar waved in a smartass way before he ran to catch up with Jeebus, Red and Lyoko following.
"Ew." Hikaru said in disgust as she prodded a form on the floor in the master bedroom with a stick. It had flies around it and a funky smell to it.
"Careful, Hikaru, that's a dead cat." Nisorin said before he walked into another room and shifted stuff around, laughing to himself when Hikaru shot him a dirty look before quickly backing away to look at other things.
Nisorin, Gaser, Hikaru, Zai, and Thunder had gone into a large and well furnished house out of one, curiosity, and two for clues. Even though K23 was suppose to be with them, as it was their initial groups, he decided to go with Orph and Ino figuring that he couldn't let the two wonder alone and he sort of had to make it up to Ino for deciding to travel the town.
So far they hadn't really found anything interesting but then again they were only on the first floor of three. Aside from the dead cat that Hikaru now felt like she should grieve over nothing special had showed up. Scattered papers were everywhere, ranging from old bank notes and receipts to pictures of kids, families, and get-togethers. Some of the furniture was torn up and some frames were broken but nothing really stood out and begged for attention. Well, aside from the blood that seemed to have no source and was spread everywhere.
The groups were dispersed roughly in the corners of the town, with Orph, Ino, and K23 wandering towards their high school, Hikaru, Nisorin, Thunder, Gaser, and Zai creeping on the richer part of town's area, and Jeebus, Lyoko, Red wandering the cemetery (why? who the fuck knows). They were split up and searching for signs of things but nothing, absolutely nothing, came up. It was a dead end everywhere they went, literally.
Just when the family was about to give up and head back to their cars, the sirens went off.
K23, Orph, and Ino froze in their tracks. "What the hell is that?" K23 looked around, taking in the fact that the sky was suddenly growing darker, as if that was possible, and something just felt off.
"Tornado sirens." Ino said, barely audible as the sirens wailed. Her face had gone pale and her eyes wide. "But...I don't think that's what this is for..."
Without hesitation Ino bolted for the front steps of the high school, throwing all of her weight into the door and disappearing in the darkness. Orph followed after her sprinting just as fast with the thought of her in mind and hoping she hadn't fallen into something dangerous, knowing her. K23 watched the two of them leave before he looked around. He saw a moving shadow but it gave him the creeps and when it seemed to come closer he darted for the door also, slamming it behind him.
In the graveyard the shadows seemed to be even bigger, shaping and shifting as Jeebus and the others walked through the grass. Jeebus paid no attention to them but Red and Lyoko sure did, both of who had a very creepy feeling just as K23 did. "I think we should...go back into town." Red mumbled as he tapped Jeebus on the shoulder.
Jeebus didn't even turned around, instead kept walking, ignoring the action entirely. Red pulled his hand away as if it was bitten by frost and stared in wonder at Jeebus who finally stopped walking. "What the hell..?" he asked but his voice trailed off as Jeebus's form grew and his head took on an entirely different shape. "Run!" Red cried out only to be punched squarely in the face and knocked away into the trees.
"Oh shit." Lyoko stared up at Jeebus's new form as he felt like he crapped himself. Darkness followed and Lyoko was in the same condition as Red was as he too disappeared in the trees. Jeebus then stalked off at a slow and limping form as the sirens continued to buzz and whine. He was entirely different.
Nisorin shoved the others inside a walk in closet before he followed, slamming the door after them, much to Hikaru's protesting. "What the hell are we doing?!" she said in a muffled voice as she was squashed against the back wall. All that she got in an answer was "saving your ass".
The group was silent as they waited for the sirens to go away but what they didn't realize was that as they waited, the town started to burn away. Where the blood had been smeared it seemed to grow in proportion as the walls peeled away and revealed the skeleton of buildings. The tiles broke away and revealed a never ending fire underneath the town, the flame flicker and dancing closer to the surface every now and again. By the time they realized the sirens were long gone and over with, they had fallen through to the basement where the creatures that surfaced near K23 and his group surrounded them.
"Oh, fuck." Gaser said before the little terrors jumped on them, consuming them all in darkness.
Jeebus was no where to be found, or at least not the Jeebus everyone else had known. Instead he had an oddly shaped head made of metal and as he progressed in moving down the street his arms grew gradually bigger, thicker, and a bit paler even and red slash marks appeared. His clothes seemed to deteriorate and in place was a white cloth wrapped around his lower body. His hands were an angry blur. He was searching for...something.
"Holy fuck." Ino screeched as she slid on a random board laying in the hallway and went surfing down on the tile before sliding down a flight of stairs and crashing into the wall. "Ung..."
"Ino?" Orph called down from a stair set above, his shadow elongated on the walls and sent at an odd angle when it hit the corner. "You okay?" he asked, more out of wondering how pissed the fall made her than truly caring.
"No, you fucking moron." Ino stated bluntly as she attempted to unfolded herself from the awkward position she was in. Just as she was about to lift herself up from the hard, cold floor she froze.
Down in the darkness the paint began to peel away revealing picket chicken wiring and dark, blood encrusted wood. The paint that peeled away floated up into the air before disappearing within itself entirely; the noise it made sent cold chills up Ino's spine. And then, the distinguishable sound of bugs crawling and making chirping like noises.
"Oh...shit.." Ino said before she jumped from the ground, slinging the pieces of wood back and into the abyss of bugs as she bolted up the stairs, snatching Orph up by the color of his shirt and dragging him down the hallway.
"What's going on?" K23 called out as the two ran past in a flurry of fear.
"SOMETHING'S HAPPENING." Ino shouted as she bolted out the doors.

How Far We've Come
Six months ago, the family had narrowly escaped death, leaving behind two of their members in their haste escape from an abandoned city. They hadn't seen either Jeebus or Ino since. Jeebus had been lost when his head had suddenly, mysteriously, changed it's shape, and Ino... Oh, Ino... She had been one of the most precious members of their group.
Hello, hello, hello.
Life had been simple but chaotic back then. It wasn't unusual to wake up in the middle of the night and hear screaming from downstairs, but nobody ever would mind. It was usually just Hikaru and Ino fighting again, or Orph throwing a tantrum over some game. The small group of friends had become a family, living on the compound, there, in the middle of nowhere. It was what they came to know and love.
Ino and Orpheus had developed somewhat of a romance. As Orph sat on his bed in the darkness of his room, he could remember that night... He had been sitting in the hot tub, warm, his eyes locked on Ino, a story above on the balcony, glaring down at him. He called out to her, asking her to join him, and she did. They had been enjoying each other's company, when the group decided to play a game of Capture the Flag.
They were about to share a deep, romantic moment when K2323 ruined it by sneaking up on them.
Orph had been angry at K2323 for that. In many ways, he was still angry, but he had all the more reason to hate K2323 now... After what happened on that night. He could still remember it, six months ago. The fog was everywhere, and Orph could feel the blood running down his arms. He was running, trying to get out of a burning building, when he dashed into the snow...
And he saw Ino being taken away by a deformed Jeebus... And K2323 had done nothing to stop him.
Orph had gotten over that night with the hot tub, of course, because just a few hours later, in the laser tag room, he had another romantic moment with her... Well, sort of. She had come up to him when he'd been playing a video game, and baited him into the laser tag room upstairs, complaining something wasn't functioning right. One thing led to another, and they ended up on the floor, about to embrace in a kiss, when Orph made a dumb comment about her breath and, clueless, was left to wonder why she suddenly became angry.
Waking Up At The Start of the End of the World
Days went by slowly back then, and it was not unusual for someone like Ino to be in control of what happened around her. She was a fighter, and if she wanted something, she got it. Orpheus remembered once when she had control of the entire living room. She commanded various people to do various things that one Sunday. Orph had been forced to get her a grape soda more than once.
That was the same week that the group had gone out on their adventure to the city.
But it's feeling just like every other morning before.
They'd piled up into K2323's truck that Friday. Riding into one of the two nearby communities, the boys were chatting about an evening of fun they were bound to hand. They were, after all, going to Ricardo's. Taco eating for everyone. Afterwards, they had taken off to Vierni's... It had been Nisorin's first night out on the city with K2323, Orph, and Jeebus. He was in for an interesting experience.
Now I'm wondering what my life is gonna mean when it's gone.
That night had been quite different for Ino and Hikaru, who had shopped throughout the day before coming home to the swimming pool. They had talked about a lot of things. Boys, clothes, makeup. Hikaru had been having trouble understanding her need for a relationship with Gaserlake, while Ino and Orph hadn't exactly been getting along. Of course, the girls never could have prepared themselves for later that night, when the boys, rather drunk, returned home.
The cars are moving like a half a mile an hour and back.
Then, it had happened, just a few days later. Orph could remember K2323's shouting, and all the running. Those things had been outside, and they didn't know what to do. That's when they called him... UnStellar. He was the one they needed, the only one who could help them out here. He was the one who had the tank, after all.
Try to stare as the passengers are wheeling right by.
UnStellar still remembered how he got to be a member of the small family. He hadn't seen his friends for months when he got the call from them, exclaiming they needed the tank. He'd dropped what he was doing immediately. He lived some couple of miles away, but he got in his tank and started at full speed towards the group. If only it'd have been needed.
At the time, he'd had no idea. There had been mass chaos at the house, screaming. Orph and K2323 had found that the others seemed to be... Not quite themselves after the attack on their house began. Hikaru and Gaserlake talking in monotone, appearing out of nowhere. Stuff like that. They had been utterly scared. And then, the lights went out, and there was a knock at the door.
Jeebus, K2323, and Orph had realized that zombies were attacking.
In the end, it turned out to be a joke on the three, but UnStellar had no idea. He showed up in a tank and began to shell the house. And that was how he ended up joining their small family again. It'd been quite the night... But it was only going to get worse. It wasn't over. Not yet. Sure, the zombies hadn't been real, but...
Can you tell me what was ever really special about me all this time?
That was the night that Ino went missing, the first time. They searched for weeks, but eventually, they seemed to give up, realizing that Ino was gone. It had been quiet after that, too quiet. Orph had turned into a raging drunk. It was on that night that he was going out to drink, after a fight with his so-called-family, when he opened the front door to see Ino.
And she had given them a warning.
But I believe the world is burning to the ground.
She'd gone through a traumatic event, and people thought she was crazy. They decided that a trip to the beach was in order. The beach was seven hours away, and they had quite the trip to get there. Of course, they eventually did, and had quite the fun week. Jeebus had even met a girl. They'd hung out in the sand, gone clubbing, and just generally had a good time.
One car wreck and much chaos later, they returned home.
Oh well, I guess we're gonna find out... Let's see how far we've come.
And that was when they came upon... The town... The town that had caused all of this suffering.

Uprising
Over the last six months, things had gone to hell, and nobody really knew why. The group hadn't ventured out much, after their adventure in town, and they'd stayed locked up for about a week before Nisorin and K2323 dared once more to go to town. When they returned to the town, they'd found things to be... Perfectly normal, no blood, no chaos, as if nothing had ever happened, however bizarre that could be. It was surreal.
Only, Nisorin's former employers seemed to not even remember his face, and when K2323 tried to show various people around the town a photograph of Jeebus or Ino, they just seemed to freeze, as if simply seeing the photograph made them go into shock. Apart from this... Mildly disturbing fact, things went back to normal. People woke up, drove their cars to work, and then came home. As if nothing. out. of. the. ordinary. had happened.
Orph didn't buy it. He knew something was up, and knew that someone in the town had to know where Ino was, even if the missing person report they had filed kept coming up empty. He went through great lengths to try and find out the truth. He never got anything out of any of the townspeople. Eventually, he stopped trying. It took him weeks to stop trying, but even then, he didn't -- couldn't -- give up hope.
Then, about three months after Ino and Jeebus were left behind, something happened in the dead of the night... Orpheus returned to his bedroom after a midnight snack to find one of Ino's earings, the earings he'd given her for her birthday, sitting on his bed. Had this been some kind of sick joke being played out by Hikaru? No, because he knew that she had been wearing those earings when she disappeared... So where was she?
Now, three months later, he still sat on that bed, looking down at that earing. Six months ago, he had seen her... Being dragged off.
And he knew that he had to find her.
It was two in the morning, but he didn't care. He stood up, pulling on some pants, and made for the door of his bedroom, and then off to the front door of the house, where he was greeted by Nisorin and UnStellar coming IN after a late-night game of golf (don't ask). They were mildly surprised to see Orpheus leaving the house at two. It wasn't every day that anyone left this early.
"I'm going to town," Orpheus revealed, "Looking for answers."
"Need some backup?" UnStellar asked.
"Sure," Orph replied, "Just don't slow me down."
"I'll come too," Nisorin added, "I should be of some use."
"Right," Orph replied, making towards K2323's truck (the jackass wouldn't even notice it was gone). It was time to get to the bottom of this once and for all.

Don't Fear The Reaper
&
Terrible Lie
The trip into town was a somber one, as it usually was these days, and all three of the men were silent as they awaited whatever existed in the town at this time of night. After all, they only had ever come here since the incident six months ago during the day, and certainly not past midnight. It was about half past two by the time the three ended up pulling into the town. It was, as one would expect at two in the morning, fairly deserted. Everyone would be inside sleeping at this hour.
However; as the three drove into the town, to their surprise, something suddenly jumped in front of the truck, causing Orph to slam on breaks. Thud. Panic began to fill the air of the truck as it came to a full stop, and not one of them moved. Had... had they just hit someone? Orph slowly, silently, reached for the door handle and opened it, jumping down from the F250 and looking back to see... Well, he couldn't distinguish the figure, they had a black tarp covering their entire body.
As Nisorin and UnStellar also got out of the car, they followed close behind as Orph approached the body. Slowly, he bent down and pulled off the black tarp, expecting the worse, when -
SCREEEEEEEECH!
Jumping back as the figure made a noise, Orph watched, terrified, as it rose up. It was dark, and none of them could distinguish it's features, but they could clearly see that it was floating and wearing a suit. That was all they needed to see, and they took off running back towards the truck. Orph knew K2323 had a shotgun somewhere in the truck. Opening the toolbox, and digging through it a bit, he found what he needed when -
Hands, cold, grasped onto his leg. He began to shout, as he fooled with the gun, trying to load it. That was the last thing he managed to do before being dragged off the side of the road and into a forest. Town was only a few miles ahead, and a speechless Nisorin and UnStellar wondered if they needed to go get help, or go after him themselves. Silence filled the air, and then, a moment later, the sound of gunfire echoed. Neither of the two moved, unsure if the gunfire was from the figure that had dragged Orph into the forest or if it was from Orph. They expected him to come back out of the forest, but... He never did.
Now what?
-
Five hours later, a cold, hungry, and confused Nisorin and UnStellar were standing in the same place they had been hours ago, the same place they'd been since then. Only, now, the county sheriff and various police and detectives were scattered around the scene. They had found various bullet fragments in the woods, and believed they'd found a trail. Only, after a couple of hours, the trail had gone dead at an abandoned shed some couple of miles away, outside of town. It was... Very peculiar.
Pulling up to the scene in an unmarked, black car, a tall figure stepped out of the car. The man looked rather spiffy with his suit, tophat, greased hair, and cigar in his mouth as he approached the two, offering his hand, which they gladly shook. "The name's Christopher, city detective, but you can call me Cap. It's a pleasure, eh?"
"Nice to meet you," Nisorin responded quietly.
"Right, say, kid, why don't you come tell me a bit about what happened, and then we'll get to your friend, eh?"
"Sure," Nisorin responded, walking off with the detective to discuss the events of earlier in the evening.
Shortly after those two walked off, another vehicle pulled up to the scene, outside the crime tape. UnStellar saw a panicked K2323, Swift, and Thunder get out of the car and attempt to cross the tape when they were met by resistance from a police officer who had been ushering off curious townspeople all morning. UnStellar approached the tape, assuring the officer it was okay, and he let them through.
"What happened!?" K2323 exclaimed as they made their way back to the truck.
"He.. He just... Got dragged into the forest," UnStellar responded.
"No, not to Orph! To my truck!" K2323 exclaimed, worriedly examining the small scratch on it that the impact of the body had made.
--
After the group finished up at the crime scene, they were asked to head down to the police department for more questioning. By this time, it was getting late, and UnStellar and Nisorin were quite tired. K2323, Swift, and Thunder decided that they would head back home and let everyone know what was happening, and Nisorin and UnStellar could take Thunder's car back home when they were done at the station. As the three stepped into K2323's truck, they pulled out of the police station's parking lot and began their trip back home, when K2323 decided to pull over near where Orph had vanished.
"What's wrong?" Thunder asked, "Are you seriously thinking what I think you're thinking?"
"Don't do it, K2323," Swift objected.
"It's... It's nothing. I just... Thought I saw something."
About a mile down the road, at a stop sign, K2323 froze up again. Pulling over on the side of the road, he stepped out of his truck and began to squint, attempting to get a clear sight of... What seemed to be a floating figure in a dark suit, running off the road and into the forest just ahead of them. And then, K2323 took off, chasing the figure into the depths of the woods, leaving a speechless Swift and Thunder confused.
They were about to chase after him, when, behind the duo, they heard... Heavy breathing. They turned to see an out of breath Jeebus, looking over his shoulder, head normal as can be. He looked back around, and stopped when he saw Swift and Thunder.
"What are you two doing here!?" he nearly shouted.
"What are... WE doing here?" Swift replied.
"You have t-"
And then, from behind the three, there was headlights, and horns honking. Jeebus's face seemed to spell out panic, and he quickly ushered the two into K2323's truck and took off down the road as fast as the truck could go, the second vehicle chasing behind them.

The Night Has A Thousand Eyes
It was late, sometime just past eight, and the nearby city of Esemef's police department had a lot of questions for UnStellar and Nisorin. The one who had taken the most interest in them, though, was the detective, Cap. Even now, after they'd been through so much, he was still questioning them, in the dark room. He seemed convinced that he hadn't just vanished. He seemed convince that there was more to the story.
"For the fifth time!" Nisorin shouted, "We were too scared to move! You're being unreasonable."
"I'm not being unreasonable," Cap replied, "I'm merely stating the facts."
"Whatever," UnStellar complained, "We're trying to work with you."
"You are n-" Cap began, but suddenly, a police officer burst into the interrogation room.
"Detective!" the officer shouted, "They're on the move again!"
"They're not getting away this time," Cap said, smiling as he stood, "Gotta go, boys. Come with me, and we'll get you two out of here... But don't be leaving the county. I'm sure we'll be calling you both back here."
---
It was dark, and Orpheus could barely see anything, except the ropes around his feet. He was sitting down, he quickly realized, strapped to a chair, inside a dark room. He couldn't figure out why, or remember much of anything, all he knew was that he needed to get out of here. And his head hurt like hell. Had he gotten drunk with K2323 again!? Maybe he just had a really bad hangover, and K2323 was tied up somewhere around here too.
"K2!" Orph called out, "K2, where a- AAAAAAAZZHHHZ!"
As electricity ran through Orpheus's skin and bones, he shouted out in agony, before cowering in a mix of relief when it ended and pain from the after affects that it had brought with it. As memories of the body on the road and the man in the suit came back to him, he began to cower in fear. Memories of the stories that Ino once told about slenderman were quickly coming back to him. Such pain, he couldn't stand it.
And then, he let the pain take back over. He didn't pass out, but suddenly, he felt blurry. A small, sharp pain, as if a needle was jabbing him in the arm. And then, he felt numb, almost drunk. He was fairly certain he'd just been injected with something, but he was no longer aware of his surroundings. No longer aware of anything. He heard whispers, questions, and he answered. Questions about who he was, how he got there. And he answered. He answered everything.
--
K2323 had been chasing the dark suited, floating figure for what seemed like half an hour now, and it had unsuccessfully tried to loose him, much to no avail, by rounding various corners in the forest. He kept chasing, determined to get to the bottom of this entire situation. He had the man locked in his sights, and he did not once lower his guard. But it was getting dark. He was loosing visibility of the figure in front of him.
Just when he was about to give up hope, he followed the dark figure right out of the tree line and up a hill. From the top of the hill, he watched the man in the dark suit tumbling down it, and he shouted out, "Hey! You! STOP!"
It did not even turn to look at K2323, and so, he, too, followed it down the hill... That's when he realized that, at the bottom of the hill, there was a field, and at the edge of that field, he could see a barn. When the dark figure got to the bottom of the hill, it started running towards the barn, and K2323 began to run after it. He was growing tired, but he kept going, faster, running, even after the dark figure ahead entered the barn, and he didn't stop until he, too, got to the barn, opening it's creaky door to reveal...
POW!
One shovel over the head later, K2323 was out of it.
--
"Jeebus, what are you doing!?" Thunder shouted at the top of his lungs, "Who's chasing us!"
Swift, meanwhile, was hiding on the floorboards of K2323's truck, too scared to look, hoping Jeebus would forget she was even there. He was evidently insane, and she would not be apart of his maniac delusions that he was a NASCAR driver. In fact, she was sure of it. Whatever had happened to Jeebus over the last six months had made him crazy. And she did not go well with crazy even though, well, she was crazy!
"Um, well," Jeebus responded, "I'm driving."
"Why!?" Thunder demanded.
"We're being chased," Jeebus pointed out.
"By who?" Thunder asked, trying to calm himself.
"Moose," he said, his voice tainted with worry, "Mooooose!"
"Right, okay," Thunder responded, joining Swift on the floorboard.
"WOAH!" Jeebus shouted, "HOLD O-"
Screeech.
