Grey fire formed around a certain stone as the stone melted away revealing a portal. Out of it stepped a young man, but in a black garment. A staff hung on his back and various pouches from his waist, but something about this boy Carl could seem a bit off to those with high magic levels. It was like his world had fallen apart around him.
Black cloth replaced the normal attire that Carl would wear, a complete mourning outfit complete with a utility belt of sorts that contained many shrunk down weapons something he had learned about from Ezra earlier, and a staff was sheathed on his back. Only the staff was something new that had been made for him as a way to channel his magic more efficiently. It had a magic producing organ on the inside of it which allowed it to amplify and boost magic along with the obsidian inside of it.
"Hello." The voice of Carl rang true, but was tinged with a bit of misery to it for some reason that would be at the moment indecipherable to the entities known as Rev and Gen. This moment had put Carl through a lot and he had plans to go through that would put him back on top. The book tried to open a telepathic link with one of the children it seemed so it could discern what they were.
