Personality:
Kallen is a person with two sides. She is a strong women on the outside who commands the respect of a small fleet of pirate raiders. She can do what she has to, cold and heartless as it makes her seem, without a second thought. She can commit attack maneuvers, execute rebellious crew members and do some rough moral decisions with practiced ease.
She is not all the stone golem she makes herself out to be though. She is somewhat insecure about her ability to handle things emotionally, which is why she stays away from that stuff generally. She is also a very kind, nice person when she knows you and you're on her good side. If she does like you, she is very generous and fairly forgiving. However, this is eclipsed by her stoic demeanor in public and even with the crew normally.
Like father like daughter she is a superb tactician and generally very cautious when planning and during the initial attack, then she can become a brutal fighter who is calm about each decision.

Biography:
She was born to Addler vas Vacon and his wife on a currently unknown Zarethian planet before the end of that era in Zarethian history. She, her mother and her brother moved around a lot the first fifty or so years as their father was making a name for himself in the Zarethian Fleet. She always admired him, albeit from afar considering he was almost never home with them. Of course, that would be the problem with many people who had military families. It was a good childhood, though, somewhat cold near the end.
When she was able to she joined the Zarethian fleet from the bottom. She was determined not to let her father's image and reputation make her different from anybody else. She rose through the ranks, displaying tactical skill and instincts on par with Addler's own. Within a few years she was the captain of her very own frigate, and few years after that, he own frigate fleet.
When her mother died, she comforted her father, dissuading him of his troublesome drinking habits. When the Lorcar attacked in full, she was all for attacking back and going on the offensive. She hated this retreating and fleeing when every time they did so they left civilians to die. Somewhere in this time period, she broke. She left her ties with most of her family and close friend and focused solely on her military pursuits. She was a cold shell of the charismatic captain that lead one of the Zarethian's frigate fleets.
She argued with her father over many things, tactics, civilian displacement and planetary habitation methods. She blamed him for what happened. One night, the arguments hit a peak and she stormed out, out of the fleet and took her loyal men with her. Fifty or so years later she emerged as one of the Pirate Lords in the UPA, rivaling the largest pirate fleets. She commands total respect and is not afraid to use it to further her goals.
