A few days after returning Glom to the sector Konjan had gone off to, he returned to the island on Earth. He set forth on the planet, looking around for someone.

The first person he'd see was Johnny, the merc with the knife he'd seen when he first landed, who looked like he was hiding from someone. "Ah, Konjan right? Welcom ba...Wait. Please tell me your not with Kiera." He asked hesitantly, turning to him.

"Kiera?" Konjan asked, scratching his head to remember who Kiera was, "Excuse me. I'm old. My memory's not like it once was.. Oh, yes. I remember now. No.. I'm not with her. Why?"

He sighed in relief. "The chick's crazy's why. Im tellin' ya, no matter how many times I try tellin' her I ain't interested, she keeps on and on. Ah, but thats my problem, no need to bore ya with the details. Whats going down?"

"Was hoping to find the bo- I mean.. Hiro, or someone, and find out where I'm needed," Konjan said.

"I think he's at the Dark Heart, getting ready with Sara and Flora, maybe that Marakov guy, though Im not sure, to get going on their current contract. Bounties on two members of something called the Anrufe, I believe." Johnny said, pointing to the Dark Heart. "I was thinking of going, but then I read the datafiles we recieved for 'em."

"Are they nasty?" Konjan asked, looking up at the bounty hunter, "I haven't dealt with the Anrufe in.. Gosh, it's probably been twenty or thirty years. Who knows what they're up to these days."
