Personality:
Curious to a fault, SCOUT is a unique little robot. It has the constant desire to record everything it sees to better understand society. SCOUT is relatively harmless, only attacking when first attacked; It is more inclined to learn. SCOUT will often follow people it does not understand.
It's limited speech functions confine SCOUT to very few words and even then it will often not bother talking unless directly asked to or if it feels that more information can be gained from speech.

Biography:
Around it's creation, SCOUT's life was simple. It was to simply scout ahead in any battles and provide a live feed for the K Empire(I got permission from K2 for SCOUT to be a K Empire invention). This was long before it had any semblance of self awareness. SCOUT was merely a tool.
Around a month after, a glitch in SCOUT's programming occurred. It was to be given an upgrade to fix it but the mechanic working on him felt that the specific quirk the glitch had given SCOUT was entertaining and thus left it in. This quirk was SCOUT's first step into self-awareness; SCOUT had found a butterfly and maintained that it HAD to keep the butterfly alive and around it at all costs.
Of course, shortly after; the butterfly died as insects do. This greatly distressed SCOUT, causing it to become introverted and no longer do it's job properly. The engineers in charge of SCOUT decreed that it was faulty and needed to be deactivated and re-created; wiping it's memory as part of the process. This is when SCOUT gained another step into Self-Awareness; A major sense of self preservation.
SCOUT attempted to escape, not harming anything but merely running. SCOUT ran through the research facility it was in for ages, constantly narrowly escaping those who were after him until eventually it ran into the Mechanic who first allowed it it's first sign of personality. The Mechanic returned SCOUT to the proper authorities then did something truly admirable; He purchased SCOUT, saving him from any real protocols.
Before being discharged and replaced, any memories or information about the K Empire was completely wiped from SCOUT's memory banks; leaving it's personality intact but removing any threat it may have were SCOUT to fall into the wrong hands. After such, the Mechanic fixed SCOUT up with some of his own little upgrades to ensure it's survival in the universe and then released SCOUT to find it's own purpose.
