Kurai merely blocked the blast with her wings. A Phoenix's feathers when attacked were harder known to be harder than diamond. "That wasn't nice." Kurai gave the primary feathers of her wing that blocked the attack a flick, spraying blood on the scientist. "Either follow how I say it. Or no Phoenix blood for you."

Jake sighed looking at the sealed form of Ezra. Feeling a bit of pity he sent out a message that would reverberate through the items he had once held, his scythe and stone tablets. A message telling of what had happened to Ezra and calling for pick up. Within seconds the body was Owed away from the area, so fast that Kurai would not sense what happened.

A ship arrived, actually 10 frigates arrived. First the orb that contained Ezra was beamed up. THen the remains of Marco Stone if there were any, and any carcasses of Narrikians were beamed up to the frigates which then JDed away.
