The soldiers did not want to do this. Were it not for the nanites in them, they would not do this. Each one grabbed one of Yaiden's family members and said to them. "If we let you go, you wouldn't tell anyone would you?" It was obvious that if not for the bots inside them they would release the family, but there were nanobots inside of them, whcih was the cause of this problem. And surgery wouldn't get these out as easily as it did the ones in Lustre.

The others began to prepare things so it looked like they had been overcame by the Hand, and so Victor couldn't maim them with the nanobots inside of their bodies and use those to harm them. The leader of the group walked over to the father, and then took out a key and removed the magically enchanted locking cuffs that blocked the father from using magic. "Each of you will be freed from those cuffs for an hour. "
