In a hooded black cloak, a genetic experiment appeared. But this was not just any, but the first of them that appeared. For you see this had been the one that Rezick personally had spear headed the creation of, Silen Shred. Silen slowly walked around France taking in the sights, and trying to locate a munitions factory he could pay to build him his gear so he would have it when he needed it. He raised his magic level, trying to gain some attention.
-
(OOC: bump?))
-
OOC: Sorry, didn't see this one.
The magic users in France were mostly newbies, what with being primarily human and all. A few sages had joined their ranks over the last few weeks since the founding of the empire, but the humans were mostly just learning magic. An unrecognized magic signature of a higher trace warranted a quick checkin to make sure things were okay. A police officer noticed the man and notified the proper authority.
A hornet fighter approached the man from the distance.
-
Seeing the hornet arrive, Silen held out his hand. A junk yard nearby lost enough metal to build a Pseudo Hornet fighter, the fighter forming around Silen and he used it to send out a transmission.
Where is the munitions factory of this place?
-
An alien who had raised his magic signature, reproduced a mock hornet by raising his hand, and was wanting to know where a munitions factory was constituted questions. The hornet fighter landed on the ground near Silen, and a ramp opened from it's side, from which two men dressed in military uniforms stepped out, both carrying guns, at ease.
"Sir, we will have to ask that you come with us, please," one said.
-
"Fine. But I am on a tight schedule."
With that, the mock hornet fighter shifted forms, changed by magic into a suit of Grid Armor which appeared over Silen's body. It covered all except his head and had weapons systems built into it. It was not near finished yet, and the NET system had not even been added to the armor he had as of now, but would eventually be added for the sake of his safety. "I'll go with you." He then walked towards them calmly and quietly.
-
He was led into the Hornet fighter. Silen would find that being inside a Hornet was rather roomy for a fighter. It had four seats in it's back compartment, all spread out and against the walls of the fighter, and then three seats, side by side, at the control dash. A holowindow was in front of the dash, revealing view of everything in front of the fighter, with additional holowindows acting as rearview mirrors and side mirrors.
"Please, take a seat," one soldier said as the other two sat down in the front. The ramp closed behind them and the hornet slowly started to hover into the ground.
-
Sitting down, he looked for a plug in. Unfortunately this suit of Grid armor was in bad need of an immediate recharge. Pulling out the plug in, he uttered an obscenity in narrikian and began to look for somewhere to hook the armor up so that it could recharge, and then he remembered. He had magic, so why not just fix the problem that way? Using magic, he refueled the armor's amounts of electricity and smirked.
-
The hornet ascended pretty high up into the air before it started moving. It was moving through the clouds, and the ground was pretty far down. The two in the front started speaking with each other in French.
-
Unfortunately for them, Silen knew how to speak french. He was fluent in most of the languages of the galaxy actually. So he listened to their conversation while thinking of what he needed to get done.
-
< So, then, she leaned into my ear and whisered, "Here. Let me help you with that." >
< Go on! >
< So she leaned in closer to get my tie and - Say, what do you want for lunch? >
< I don't know, but I'm hungry. >
They arrived in Paris about fifteen minutes later, and soon were in the Hornet Docking Bay of the K Center. The ramp for the fighter opened as the two cut the engine to the fighter and stood, motioning for Silen to follow them off of the fighter.
-
Following them, Silen pushed a button his armor. It began to scan and record nearby technologies, including the fighter. Later he would have his own version of that fighter built, only more weaponized.
-
No scan would reveal too much about the technology. It was built by Earthlings, and was very different than most technology out there. To get a good read on it, Silen would have to backwards engineer the technology, or at least take it apart. He would not have enough to go on by merely encountering the technology.
-
Later, he would buy a hornet and dissect it. In the mean time, he continued to follow his guides. A backpack full of tubes that held schematics, and blueprints for dozens of different weapons appeared on his back.
-
OOC: Hornet is military, not for sale. And those blueprints wouldn't be K Empire technology, those wouldn't just be laying around.
The guides led him to a diplomatic room and left him there. A few moments later, a diplomat arrived and asked him to sit down at the table in the room.
"Which empire do you represent?"
-
"Narrikian Empire. And we've recently had to shift our homeworld due to your neighbors the Anrufe. " When the word Anrufe came out of his mouth, his face tightened up and his eyes narrowed to slits, the fangs concealed in his mouth were revealed. "They brought a titan to our world, and forced us off of it with Asassin one of their members. Soon though they will be gone. How much for one of those fighters you had back there? Looks good, and more importantly certain groups that managed to hack our tech haven't got access to it."
-
"Ah, yes, the Anrufe," the diplomat replied, "Our empire has no experience with them, but our intelligence on them is great, because of our leader, emperor K2323. They seem like very bad people, and we are sorry for your empire. However, we can not pass on our technology to you at this time, not without first creating an alliance with your people."
-
"We are still in the process of moving our base. I was sent to procure one of your munitions factory, and reproduce all our weapons of mass destruction and others for the situation demands it. With the loss of Memorial, we no longer have a homeworld, although we are working to remedy that currently and fix that problem for ourselves. How much would you demand for Mars?"
-
The diplomat blinked. "You want an entire planet? Of course, K2323 would have to enter into this negotiation, as would your emperor, but I would think we could trade you our planet in turn for your technology, or something to that degree."
-
"At this point it is a matter of NEED and not want. Without Memorial, we are up the creek without a paddle as it were." His communicator rang, it was the five families and they gave him the go ahead. "As for our tech, I have permission. Anyway, it would be good if K2323 were to do something about the Anrufe soon, because even with mars likely they are still able to cause some trouble. But what could be done about the titan that is the reason we had to evacuate our entire homeworld?"
-
"We can not offer you military aid, please do understand. The Anrufe are a very dangerous group, and we are looking into ways to stop them, but please do understand that our emperor has not been able to stop them, and he has been against them for decades. We wish you best of luck in your situation."
He stood. "Please, wait here. I will see if we can contact the emperor."
-
Waiting there, Silen took out his PDA and attempted to contact Empty. He had listened to their words. So even k2323 was powerless against the Anrufe, then it did not look well for them.
"Empty, I need a favor. Permission to trade some of our tech so we can get a new homeworld, Memorial is too close to the Anrufe base on Shuma. That is why we have decided to move, and I am currently working to get us an alliance with the K Empire so that we can survive. But, well things will require me to trade more tech than I want. Do I have your clearance to do so since you are in charge of the Narrikians now?"
-
"How much technology do you need to trade?" Empty replied.
-
"Not sure, I'll get back to you on that once K2323 arrives here or someone in charge does. But we need a new homeworld, that much is certain." He said over the PDA before looking at some of the art work. Silen was vey much into art, and so he stared at a couple of pieces for but a moment, knowing he could not even allow himself to relax.
-
A man dressed in formal clothing walked into the room. This man had great posture, was rather handsome, and had a friendly smile. He walked up to Silen and offered his hand.
"Michael Remmiston, K Council. Nice to meet you."
-
"Hello.' Slowly, Silen reached out his hand and shook the hand of the guy. "We'd like to buy mars from you, lock stock and barrel. Put a few thousand of our civilians there, so they would be safe. You could still live there to, more or less, we would just be sending them there to be safe until something can be figured out about what to do to the Anrufe. Because currently we are homeworld-less. And looking to get one soon, along with for ways to bypass the Anrufe. Say has K2 ever visited the dimensional guardian headquarters in the dimension?"
-
"Yes, well, the emperor is busy, but he has authorized me to commence with this trade, and to also attempt to create an alliance between our people. We can give you Mars, but it's surface is not habitable. You will have to build indoor habitats. You must understand, though, that this is a planet we are discussing, at the price will be heavy... I have a proposision for you," he explained, a file with brief descriptions of K Empire technology appearing near as the diplomat sat down, motioning for Silen to look through it.
"We will completely exchange all technology that we have made up until this point, our scientists will work closely at sharing the technology and manufacturing new technology together. We will give you Mars, as well. We will provide each other with military support. Your people will be free to vacation in our cities. We are currently building a large city which will serve as our capital city. There, you will be invited to construct an embassy, and we expect to be allowed an embassy on your worlds as well."
-
"Deal. Just one thing. I need all information, data and records the Emperor has on the Anrufe. Any weaknesses, vulnerabilities, DNA samples and anything of that nature. Asassin is only one of them. As for the surface not being habitable, we have ways to remedy that. " Silen was thinking of a certain tech the Mechera had at their disposal that would be good for use on mars. "Anyway, I will give the green light to the technicians. Also your sages are pretty good even for low levels. As part of the deal, I will have a few Narrikian instructors help out with their magical training. As it is, your sages need to get stronger, but so do all our raw recruits we've been forced to pull in due to the Anrufe's actions against us."
Sighing, he took out a document that was blank, an ancient scroll that had powerful enchantments upon it. The terms they had agreed upon appeared on the scroll and he took out a quill pin, poked one of his fingers and signed the scroll with his own blood, making it a blood contract. He did not know why he was doing this, but he was. "There. Now you sign, and the deal is struck."
Looking through the descriptions of the tech, a plan began to be formed. Schematics for a price powered armor, solar laser gauntlets and other tech materialized. "If you were to combine the Price Powered armor technology with the tech here, your net system and shielding it would be able to survive space I think. It would need a better Ai than we are capable of currently, but you guys have that kind of stuff right?"
-
"Perhaps," the diplomat replied, reading over the contract and assuring that there were no hidden tricks in the contract. He raised his finger to his mouth and bit on it before signing his name in blood.
-
"And now...." He handed the guy a schematic for price powered armor, the constructor system and many other narrikian and genetic experiment technological weapons and asked. "How soon can you have those combined with your NET system and power cores, linked to your defense system so they are not shut down and modified so that the stuff is all in one instead of seperate? Also, we can help you raise the technology level of your planet if you are amenable. Of course that was one reason I was headed towards the Munitions Factory on this planet."
Silen said then. "If we are to beat the Anrufe, technology here must be exponentionally improved upon. First, we shall share with you some of our force field tech so you can protect the planet easier, and our combat simulator so that your people will be easier to train and get done training with, so that there is no need for us to keep relying on armies of automatons. Even if they are capable of magic."
"Now...where to begin?"
-
"Slow down, partner," the council member said, grinning. "Look, bud, let me start by sending help to your planet to expel this Anrufe. Alright?"
-
"Alright. Getting Asassin out is the main problem. He is magic-less for now thanks to our work, but we can't get rid of him or those black marks he has put on a city block. We are sending a crew to mars to see about it, and work on terraforming the planet so that it will be habitable in a matter of hours. In the mean time, I'll wait."
Silen would indeed wait.
-
"Ah, yes. My assistant will show you to your room. Stay as long as you would like," the council member replied, standing and offering out his hand once more.
-
The genetic experiment nodded, shook his hand and then walked off to a room to prepare.
