Title: Emily Vedran Corluka
Post by: Emily on February 03, 2010, 08:11:55 PM
Name: Emily Vedran Corluka (Real Name: Maria Lenin)

Age: 110 (Appearance Of 14 Y.O.)

Race: Human

Alliance: None

Biography: Born in 1900 in St. Petersburg, Russia, Maria was the daughter of the first ruler of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, Vladimir Lenin. She was heavily influenced by him and his teachings and grew up believing strongly in the ideas of Utopian Socialism and Realpolitik. She was just a child when the events of the Russian Revolution went underway.

She’s been power hungry since the day she was born; so much so that she began to formulate plans of global domination at the age of 13. When her father began meeting with Czar Nicholas II to formally discuss issues within Russia, she fell under the influence of the Russian mystic Grigori Rasputin, who was appointed by the Czar to keep the Czar’s son, Alexander, from dying of hemophilia. It was then Rasputin began to tell her ideas of magic and eternal life. Maria quite liked the idea of it, and she began to visit with Rasputin more often. He taught her everything he knew, spells, teleportation, ressurection, and the like. But there was one thing he would not give her. He refused to give her "The Gift", as he called it, or eternal life.

Eventually, she did persuade Rasputin to give her eternal life, as long as she would not follow the ideas of the Russian Revolution. She agreed, and the ceremony to give her eternal life was held the following week, when she was 16 years old. After she had been given “The Gift”, as Rasputin had called it, she became paranoid that others would find out about this and they, too, would have eternal life. So, to assure to herself she would be the only one, she lured Rasputin to the edge of the Moika River, where she stabbed him with a dagger and threw him into the freezing water, where he died.

As the USSR was formed, she changed her name to Emily Vedran Corluka, and used this alias in town after town. When people noticed Emily was not aging over the years, she moved on, never to be seen again by them. This kept going on and on until the fall of the USSR in 1991, when she went into hiding. Ever since, she began to formulate plans to take back Russia under the communist regime, and hoped the world would follow suit.

With the help of other USSR loyalists, and Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, Emily took part in yet another Russian Revolution, and the communist regime was restored. However, she was very untrusting of the individuals that helped her restore the USSR, so she called them to a meeting, pulled out a pistol, and shot them each twice in the head.

As the only living dictator, she began to spread her communist ideas across Europe and Asia, and one by one, every country, willingly or not, joined the USSR. The only countries that have still managed to resist the communist uprising have been the UK in Europe and Japan in Asia. However, no doubt that Emily Corluka has plans for them, to, to fall under the Iron Curtain that is the USSR.

Appearance: Despite Emily’s old age, she doesn’t have the appearance of a 110 year old. She looks as if she is still 14. She has long, blond hair that is usually pulled back by a ribbon to keep it out of her eyes. Her eyes are pale blue, like the sky on a cold autumn day. She is about 5’6” tall, but can still fight using hand to hand combat quite effectively. She is usually dressed quite formally; a white shirt and a suit jacket, buttoned once. Inside this jacket she keeps her Infinite Bag Of Space, where she keeps everything else. She wears dress pants and dress shoes mostly, even when she is in combat. She usually wears a pin of the communist symbol, the hammer and sickle, on her suit. She also has a tattoo of the communist symbol on her right cheek. Oftentimes, due to the frigid temperatures of Russia, she wears a long black scarf and gloves, but they are not evident when she travels to warmer parts of the world.

Its not that bad, actually...Besides, I guess that we could use a few more villains.
And trust me, they read it...People here are fast readers, for the most part...

Yeah, they either didn't read, or just skimmed through it.

1: Infinite bag? Too big.

2: Flash grenades can be defended against rather easily, just to let you know.

3: 5'6" is rather tall for a 14 year old. Most 14 year old girls are around 5'2, 5'3.

4: Humans, on this board, do not normally have magical abilities. In order for a human to get magic as powerful as a level four mage, they have to either have some alien blood in them, or have had some other sort of peculiar event that changed them a great deal, both mentally and physically, that would cause the emergence of a 'soul' organ. The 'soul' organ is what is used to use magic in the scope of this board.

1. Boo.

2. Okay.

3. Yeah I wasn't really thinking about that. I just used the height I am now. Not when I was 14. I should probably change that.

4. Umm. Yeah well that wans't up to me. I just asked K2323 what it should be and that's what he said. Cause I've been in the OK before, but that wasn't the same character. What do you advise I do?

I suggest be a Sage, or a Witch..

Yes, those are races not occupations.

1. An infinite bag, I disagree, would not be too big. It's simply a place for carrying things and could very well be simply a pocket dimension mechanism of some sorts, an enchanted bag.

2. Whatever, she still has the right to make them.

3. Around here, it's not totally irregular for girls to be that high at 14, just means their a bit tall.

4. Emily, you probably should make your character a sage (what Kai, Hikaru, Orph, etc are.), or have it where they underwent what we call "unlocking their magic" which is a vigorous thing which requires much concentration and weeks of meditation.

Added this...

"He taught her everything he knew, spells, teleportation, ressurection, and the like. But there was one thing he would not give her. He refused to give her "The Gift", as he called it, or eternal life. "

...& I dropped it to level 3. I think that's reasonable.

Read it this time instead of skimming.
With that change, I see nothing wrong with it.
Approved again.

I know about the bag being a pocket dimension, but 'infinite' still sounds a bit big for a level three mage to make. As for the flash grenades, I was merely reminding her how easy it is to defend against them, that's all.

Anyway, you're all set. Again.
