Title: Gregorian Arrangements
Post by: Zero on August 08, 2011, 06:31:27 PM
A video phone message would reach Gregory.
It was of Lucien. Yet why would he be calling?
His image was displayed.

I hear you have problems. And have been forced into martial law. Well I can get the people to comply with your rules, but it is going to cost you. First, all of Thel?s edicts that he has enacted are immediately as soon as the people obey dropped. AM will be rendered illegal after that, even for military. In exchange for assurances of these to happen, I shall begin work to calm the people down. Know that I may have to violate a few of the rules that he has enacted though in order to calm the people down.  Also recently I have had AAM injected into myself. Currently working on a way to make it permanent. So, so I have your agreement?

"We're sorry, but Gregory Falzone is not available at this time. Please leave your name, video-phone number, email address, physical address, ship license information, serial number, criminal records, eternal soul, blood type, medical/repair history, bank records, first born son, safe deposit number, weapons license information, and a brief message, after the tone." A automated voice would play on the video phone, before a godawful shrieking noise that would possibly let one see into hell for a microsecond emitted from the receiver.

"Gregory. We need to talk."

His address, name, video phone number and a request to meet were sent. Also a request for Gregory to allow Katrina's ship past Thel's blockade was also sent.

Right as he said, "Gregory" the machine continued...

"To leave a callback number, press 5. to mark this message as urgent, press 6...."

Pushing 5, he left his call back number. Pushing 6, he marked the message as urgent.

"Gregory, we need to talk face to face. Come to Magimeta. We have things to discuss there. And certain people *coughthelcough* cannot be informed about what those certain things are."

He also left his return phone number, and the coordinates for Magimeta.

The machine continued before he began to talk... "To page this person, press 7. To hear these options in Spanish pres 2."

Once the phone finally shut up, Lucien pushed the buttons that he needed to push. First he pushed seven, trying to page Gregory to come to the phone since he had no patience. To leave a call back number, he also pushed 5 and to mark his message as urgent, Lucien pushed 6. One thing he would definitely legislate if he ever got into politics was the elimination of certain things such as annoyingly long recordings on your video phone.

"Gregory, we need to meet on Magimeta."

Before he began to speak again, the machine talked again.

"You have selected, Options de Spanisho. To hear these options in French press 2. To hang up, just put the phone down.. To not hear these options in Spanish, press 11"

It now began to ramble off Hours of Spanish.

In frustration, Lucien slammed the phone down hard and with his enhanced strength accidentally broke it when he hung up. Dang, a new phone would be needed after all. But he had to find a way to get in touch with Gregory and bypass that answering machine. Closing his eyes for a moment, Lucien took a deep breath and then realized something. The same restrictions that Thel had issued did not apply to him, since he was technically not a citizen of the Narrikian/Mechera empire. Of course, he would need citizenship somewhere and so he order warped away, to his next destination with a stop in between places to pick something up.
