After seeing that the system accepted his commands, and submitted his findings, he left for now.

Of course, the reason Delta setting himself as an overseer didnt trigger any failsafe reaction was that he had set himself in the old, obsolete Felicity system which had since been replaced by the Rebirth system. Delta had yes found all of the information the old Felicity system could have given him since an Engineer had to open it for him. After Delta evacuated it, the Felicity system was officially deleted and wiped from the memory banks; Leaving only the Fioan Rebirth system.
This set the current head engineer and captain as root administrator, giving them total control over the computer system.
They did however leave Delta an administration account, it held similar failsafes. Afterall he did just give them a good sweep of how the ship worked.

Now Delta was gone, they could now begin their plans.
