Portals began to appear in a five mile radius on the planet, opening slowly, but steadily, eventually forming into one whole, not completely formed portal. Intercom voices came through.
"Levels green! Portal... 65 percent completion! Cooling rod 5 showing below average performance rating... All other signs green! Wait, listen..." The voice mute. "GET DOWN! GET DOWN! GET DOWN!"
The portal ended as abruptly as it had opened.
