Title: A visitor
Post by: Zero on August 18, 2011, 02:30:04 PM
http://media.photobucket.com/image/damaged%20space%20ship/sunovafm/MetalluxsShip.png (The ship)

Coming fast towards the planet of Fioa was a damaged space ship. It was releasing smoke and the communications on the ship had been damaged beyond means of repair that the pilot had. Cursing himself for getting into this mess, Silen scowled, irritated that he had been duped into buying this hunk of junk. Literally, it was a ship that should have been made into scrap metal ages ago.  So he sent out the magical equivalent of a distress beacon to the planet below.  Dying was not his intent, so he needed to survive. If anyone were to get the distress beacon they would get his coordinates and two words. PLEASE HELP!

Silen's ship became covered in a yellow energy as it slowed and began to be pulled at a slow rate into the planet.

This is Administrator Micks of the Fioan Entry Committee. Please state your name and reason for visit.

Thinking for a moment, Silen sent out a magical response.

Silen Shred. As for reason of entry, someone tampered with my ship.

You'll be brought into the refugee dock then, for a fee or your insurance we will fix your ship so you can be on your way

At that Silen began to err in a different direction in the planet, into the Refugee dock

"Stupid saboteurs. I never knew Interpol was this bold."

With that Silen waited until he was in the refugee dock. The hyper drive had been blown out completely, the ship?s weapons had been damaged beyond repair and the guidance system of the ship had been knocked out. It also had many scorch marks on it unfortunately. "Last time I ever buy a used ship from that dealer again. Note to self, remember to blow up used ship dealer for selling a defective and ruined beyond repair ship. "

Appearing in orbit around Fioa, well okay with breathing in space, was Konjan, having arrived just moments after Silen, after heavy tracking of his ship. Finally, he had found the guy, a wanted fugitive by both the Mechera and Zarethian. Woth 300 million credits. He was ready to collect.

Using magic, he quickly sent a transmission down to the planet below, sending it to the source that had sent Silen a transmission just earlier.

Attention inhabitants of this planet, you are carrying a fugitive wanted internationally by several empires. Fugitive is considered very dangerous. Please transfer the fugitive into my control immediately.

The transmission would never make it through, as Silen's ship jammed said transmission so the Fioans could not reach it. Konjan would receive a telepathic message from Silen.

Stop interfering. Let me finish what I started. Then I'll go with you. Sheesh, can't a guy work on a project without every empire in the dimensional plane hounding him?

Of course, the Fioans picked up on the transmission almost instantly and noted that Silens ship attempted to jam it.

If you wish for him, feel free to come and collect him. We won't stop you. Was the message Konjan received in return.

His ship would not survive much longer. In fact, this gave Silen an idea. A crafty scheme, and so he began to weave webs around the ship that would obscure the ability to sense magic within it, and then created a magical clone of himself down to the last blood bit, and wove in the properties of the web into the clone so that he would have his plan. For this was no ordinary clone. The clone had a singularity inside of it that was contained by barriers and once the clone was captured, well obviously some things would of course happen that would lead to the destruction of the mercenary Konjan that was after him.

After all, the mercenaries and bounties were getting old. Sooner or later, he would petition the Zarethians and Mechera to lower the charges against him.  Checking to make sure, Silen had practiced the spell for a while and he made a minor alteration, it would only absorb Konjan and nothing and no one else and do so without damaging the ship of the Fioans or anyone but Konjan.

"Mercenaries don't know when to quit. Dang it. This will cost me a perfectly good ship."

And with that Silen shadow traveled away, leaving a magical AT and AP field around the place, along with AJD and AHS just in case. Nothing illegal would be on his ship but the clone would be ready to attack Konjan and fulfill the reason for his creation.  As he left he muttered. "At least one of them won't be my headache any longer."

But as Silen tried crafting the web spells around the ship, Konjan grabbed ahold of it, going as far as to literally travel through the webs and into the ship. His form appeared near Silen right as he was creating a clone. The bounty hunter grabbed ahold of Silen by his neck before he could complete the clone, much less shadow travel away. He grabbed ahold of Silen's very essence, his magic signature, his scent, his physical presence... Everything that could be used to track him. Even so, Silen wasn't getting away.

Konjan's hand lit up with red energy as magic was injected into Silen's body.

The magic would find itself unable to enter Silen's body due to a number of wards that Silen had cast on himself.  Pulling in the magic from the uncompleted clone and the webs, Silen prepared to use his trump card, the one spell in his arsenal that he had never dared to use before and had been taught to use only in times of crisis and emergency. This spell would wipe out both him and Konjan, and send Silen's spirit into a cloned body waiting for him in the White Room as Lucien had helped him craft said spell.  "Gehhenae. " At that, Silen exploded with the force of 12 atom bombs but the explosion would not affect anyone but Konjan or himself. His spirit quickly was transported into the cloned body.  Unfortunately, the clone body was completely different from his current form and was more of a Android Human Replica, though it did look physically like his body everything else was different. In addition the body he had left his current one to go into had no magical signature, scent, and the physical presence was vastly different. Konjan was doomed.

OOC: You know the rules, Hawk. If you posted wards on his body, you have to mention that in the initial post.

Konjan knew the spell Silen was preparing to use very well, and before Silen could cast it, Konjan began to cipher the energy within Silen outside of his body, to prevent the explosion. At the same time, he began to erect a Spirit Prison around Silen that would prevent him from leaving, even with magic, by binding his spirit to the metaphorical prison. Silen was trapped now.

"Heh. You may have bound me. But I still have one trick up my sleeve. The Kill switch. "

WIth that Silen pulled out a detonator. It would cause the nanites inside of him to explode, with a nuclear level explosion. The anti body ones inside of him to be exact.

"You are going to let me go free. I have a debt to discharge to an old friend."

"Go right ahead and detonate that. Your own spirit is literally your prison right now. That detonation will be contained within two feet of you. I'll be quite safe where I am, but your explosion's going to bounce off the walls of your spirit energy and rebound onto you," Konjan explained as the Spirit Prison was completed.

"Please release me. I'll turn myself in when the work is complete. It is not done yet."

"I am keeping the promise I made to Lucien's Father one way or another."

"Sorry, kid," he replied, pulling out anti-magic shackles from his back pocket, "You're worth a lot of money to someone."

"Well then you must take on the mission in my stead."

"I found it. "

"Lucien is going to be very interested in this. " He reached into his backpocket and pulled out a scroll with glyphs on it that were in ancient narrikian and said to Konjan. "You can have all the money in my account. Find Lucien, give this to him. Don't pass go, don't collect the bounty until you have. Trust me, you will need to give this to him since I cannot."

"Kid, you can give me your scroll when you're securely in INTERPOL custody. Until then, you're stuck in your prison," he replied before a gust of wind blew through the ship. The moment the wind hit them, they both were swept away, in a beam of light, off to False Heaven.
