1(upper left)-Thin stalks of neon violet to aqua green, the shoots give a faint "spotted" glow around. They don't make a very good source or light and burn easily. The "Spikes" preduce a toxin that may cause one to be sick at least. The toxins aren't too harmful, the worst damage to be done is poison the blood to a 10% toxicity rate. The height of the plant at maximum is about 3'.
2(Upper right)-These plants give a deep purple glow, though when lit on fire, they burn a bright white flame(almost as bright as burning white magnesium, but not so bright) The glowing buds store a sweet juice. The stems store lots of water and tend to grow away from rivers or streams. The stalks are not poisonous and are edible, containing a source of fiber.
