Title: Shattered Planes: Shadow Of The Day [Event]
Post by: K2 on October 09, 2011, 04:09:11 PM
Okay, our first event.

Shattered Planes...

Shadow Of The Day

Introducing... Shattered Planes, Season 5... As a new day dawns on the dimension, something dark brews in the shadows. It bears an allegiance of an enemy we have yet to meet, an enemy who we know nothing about. Who is this enemy? This enemy is you, and me, and all of us.

This enemy is Zekos. With the death of Plex, he has awakened... But Zekos is just a soldier in a much larger army. His mission is simple... Find the Book Of Sunset, a powerful spellbook... Which contains a missing part of his spirit. If he finds this spellbook, he will truly become the ultimate soldier. Why? Because the Book Of Sunset also contains the soul of Naomi Melsoway, a fallen embodiment who is quickly gaining popularity among those of the North, and could eventually become their ruler...

It's a new day... 2055 is among us.

Okay, so Hikaru says this one is cliche... Trying again.

Shadow Of The Day

The battle is over...

The war is won.

Millions dead... And still, one question remains...

What happens next?

Black skies... So much chaos. After the end of the Plexan War, those of us who were considered "loyalist embodiments" -- those who served Eli and Koty -- gathered in the City of Embodiments. It only took a few days for the chaos to strike in. War. Hunger. Sickness. Pain.

We were not being attacked by the Rebel Embodiments. No, we were fighting our own brothers and sisters... It only took a few days for our great city to crumble. Fires... It was reduced to ruin moments after the fighting started... We quickly realized that we were now fighting another embodiment civil war...

Koty and Eli were killed in the Plexan War, along with Fatet, in order to bring down Anarchy, general of the rebel embodiments. With their deaths, the throne of the embodiment leader is open. Who knows when or where another embodiment of Creation and another embodiment of Destruction may arise... But for now, the throne is being contested... Whoever wins the throne, wins the embodiments.

But... I am tired of fighting... I am tired of war... And I choose to resist.

And I'm not alone. There are other embodiments like me. We are the ones who refuse to let another war consume our people. We are the ones who refuse to let ourselves be controlled by selfish desire. And we are growing in number. Soon, we will squash this petty war... And we call ourselves... The Shadow Of The Day.

But we have a problem that stands in our way... And his name is Invert.

The embodiment of Invert was a rebel embodiment who fought against us in the Plexan War. A valued soldier of Plex, he was Anarchy's favorite soldier. Why? He was brutal. He could take out entire armies. He was... Truly strong. And he's out there somewhere, organizing rebel embodiments everywhere. He could truly become the next Anarchy... But where is Invert?

We don't know.

Planet Zero -- January 3, 2055
When Galaxy Zero, the mysterious owner of Galactic Incorporated, dies a horrible death, a public funeral is hold in his honor at none other than Planet Zero, a newly occupied planet named in his memory, soon to be capital of his media empire. But when everyone gathers to mourn the death of a legendary businessman, little do they know, there are those among them who are not there to pay their respects.

Soon enough, Invert, along with a small squad of rebel embodiments, arrive to take the body of Galaxy... And they will go through whoever they must to get there. And that's not all... A mysterious complex looms under the surface of Planet Zero, containing much more than simple media facilities... Will it be discovered?
