Title: Lyoko222 Temporary Absence...
Post by: Admiral Regis Hermitage on November 16, 2011, 08:15:42 AM
Well, since id hate to see my 3,600 dollars that i pay for a membership at a hunt club go to waste, im leaving on the 17th to Virginia for general firearms season. I'll be there for about 10 days.

I will have my phone with me, but im not going to be on it much. I may post a little.

Although I definitely don't have very good feelings on hunting animals for sport or to kill animals just to kill them (They're living things too! Of course there's a food chain and whatnot, and animals die every day, but at least these predators kill to eat, to stay alive.), at least try to have fun.

... And do eat them. Make their death actually worth something like prolonging your own life. Hanging them on walls is just... you know.

They're only deer...

And I do eat the deer Zai. Don't worry. I'll send pictures!

I hunt Javelina once a year... there is no shame in being part of the cycle of life and death. This isn't PETA you know.

Also, Javelina jambalaya is awesome.

Hikaru, you're really bashing hunters when you're nearly a carnivore yourself? Where do you think all that meat comes from?

Happy hunting mate, save a nice venison steak for me. Gettin' tired of the cheaptastic steaks dad keeps buying.

If it wasn't for the fact I hate vegetables and thus would starve, I wouldn't eat meat >.>
Besides... I don't eat wild animals, just the raised to eat ones..
He's destroying the future of animals in their natural habitat!

Yeah, by killing one, MAYBE two bucks... Okay. What do you think humanity survived on for a few thousand years? It's only relatively recently we started raising animals as food.

It's actually funny. Hunters do more for wild life preservation than animal rights activists like PETA do. Oh the irony.

Late buck hunting is this weakend...
If I ever go hunting, I'm doing archery.

Eh, fishing's a good substitute for me until then... It's technically hunting... :P

Good luck Hanson

PETA- People Eating Tasty Animals

Hunters are needed to preserve our wildlife. Without hunters, the populations of animals would become overgrown, throwing the entire balance out of whack and overrunning nature.

Well, its needed to maintain a status quo, anyways. In theory, though, while a few forms of wildlife would probably die out in the resulting population growth, its not like all life in the area would die out. The ecosystem would just be...Different, really.
